Best burger ever, and Rachel was super helpful with her suggestions. We are definitely coming back.

The food was amazing, the service was exceptional, and the menu was unique and interesting to use. When you order you are given a pen and you circle and mark what you want to eat and they use that to take your order to ensure everything is correct, its genius! Out waitress was incredibly charismatic and polite and I felt incredibly welcomed and accommodated during the entire visit. I ordered the bison burger and it was delicious and prepared perfectly. I would most definitely return here again and would recommend anyone to try it.

Epic... So good! Greeted immediately & sat at the table. Server brought drinks 🍻 fast. Good came out quickly, was fairly hot, fresh of the grille within mins of each other. Would definitely go again!

We had a great meal in a laid back and easy going atmosphere. Our server Jeff was great. I had the calamari appetizer and the salmon burger. Both were excellent! Not dry, lots of flavor. We would come back!

This was my first visit and our server Lizzie did a great job explaining how to mark up the menu with our food choices and preferences. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The turkey burger was delicious, and the fries were cooked exactly how I like them. My daughter also enjoyed her Flatbread. It tasted as good as it looked.

Our server was great, he gave us time to look over the menu and offered suggestions. We had the shortrib burger and fries, both were great!

The Hangry Bison is one of our staples when it comes to going out for food. I’ve celebrated 2 birthdays here, had family from out of town meet us here, and every time it has never disappointed. Eve was our server this latest time and she is such a joy. She was so thoughtful in bringing juice for our daughter, anticipated our needs, and even delivered a small cake for my birthday. Her genuine personality made the experience. Huge thank you to her, those in the kitchen who always ensure a DELICIOUS and filling meal, and to the whole staff. If you’re in Winter Garden, you’ve GOT to eat at The Hangry Bison.

I don’t write reviews like at all but the service here was special. First time in Florida visiting and everyone was welcoming. I was sitting on the patio with my friends and the manager Amethyst came over to deliver our drinks and she was such a joy to talk to. She was not only knowledgeable about the cocktails (Bourbon Hangria was perfect) but went out of her way to make sure our experience was going well. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Delightful server - Madeleine! She had a cheerful presence and was accommodating. My build-a-bison burger Wyeth the garlic aoli was delicious and leftover warmed up well in aluminum foil! The atmosphere was lively... lots of chatter AND I DIDN'T NOTICE BUT ONE PERSON(dining alone) ON THEIR CELL PHONE, NOR DID I SEE A CELL PHONE ON A TABLE 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽

We had a great Ladies lunch this afternoon. Our server Rachel was so sweet and personable. If you get a chance to sit in her section, do it! We also had our cocktails mixed up by Matt at the bar. Best old fashioned, and that's from my Mother in law from Montana! Get out there and support your local hospitality team at Hangry Bison!!

It had been about a year since I've been here. But I visited with my son last night, and it was a good experience. I ordered the Bison burger, which was cooked & seasoned perfectly. My son had the kids Mac & Cheese. Which was very good- I even had a little of it. My waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I'll definitely be back, and it won't take me another year! Highly recommend

The Hangry Bison absolutely crushed brunch. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and you can tell real care goes into their food. From start to finish the experience was smooth, welcoming, and delicious. The menu had a great variety and every dish we tried hit the mark. Easily one of the best brunch spots around and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The bison burger is amazing. I recommend medium cook. It has the slightest gamey flavor, but it makes it delicious. We came on my birthday and they had cheese cake? I highly recommend a bourbon flight if you have time. Our waiter, Troy was incredible. He was very prompt. We didn't have to wait for anything. Incredible service.

So I’ll never order those again. The atmosphere here is great and the staff are all amazingly friendly.

Cool place in Winter Garden. Nice atmosphere, great music blasting on the speakers, mostly classic rock, attentive and friendly staff, and most importantly, great beer on tap and great food. I had the Bourbon Wings and the Hangry Bison, both well made and very delicious. If I'm ever back in Winter Garden, I'll sure pay the Hungry Bison a visit!

The slogan of this place is come hangry leave happy is very correct. My husband and I came here after a very poor experience next-door at the Italian place. We both got the build your own bison burger the bison burgers were both cooked to medium and too perfection. They also had conscious healthy options as well I was able to get my burger without any type of bread and no fuss but mac & cheese on the burger was great. My husband got a raw egg on his burger. Everything was delicious. Well cooked. They also do offer email hair discount Staff was wonderful. Would come back here.

They give you a little marker to write on the menu so once you've made all your choices you can just hand it to the server. I had a bison burger and it was excellent! This is a reasonably priced burger joint with good service and seating outside that is pup friendly.. the food is good and it was a good first experience. I would recommend this place if you are in the mood for a burger.

A quick Saturday afternoon meal. We were seated immediately and our server was in front of us in a matter of moments taking our drink orders as well as an order of beer cheese and pretzels. I went with the The Hangry Red Head which was delicious, and my only suggestion would be to spread the blue cheese evenly over the chicken. About halfway through my sandwich I bit into a blue cheese bomb. Overall a great meal.

The Hangry Bison has a fun open atmosphere where people can enjoy a relaxed setting with family or friends. It has a unique offering of made to order burgers. You can choose the meat, sauce, cheese, and toppings to mention a few. It has many other entrees to choose from as well.

This was our first experience, and overall we enjoyed our meal at this location. The bison burger was good. The sweet potato fries were great. The portion sizes are fantastic if you're hungry and want a filling meal. I did appreciate that the bison burgers here are hearty, not thin slabs like most restaurants who serve it. We ate on the patio, but probably should have sat inside. A lot of the people are moving around the outside bar and it is hard to have good conversation with the noise of that mixed with the roadway. Not a problem really, just probably not the best option for a date or important discussion. I did think the "write on your menu" situation was for lack of a better word- stupid. It was just ordering your meal with an unnecessary step. The waiter still comes over, reads the whole order back to you and makes additional notes. We could save time and awkwardness by simply asking for the food we wanted directly. Maybe it's more for the build your own burger element because of the choices, but again- any decent server could handle it.

Our waiter was attentive and easy to work with, and we were promptly seated at 6:30 on Saturday night. Overall, it was definitely worth the visit!

This was our first time visiting Hangry Bison. Our server was a polite young man. Our interactions with him were good, but he didn't come by very often to check on us. Drinks were refilled a couple minutes after being empty. We sat near the bar and with the windows open the restaurant was very warm. Fans would be a nice addition. I had the valdiano with sweet potato fries. Both were excellent, but the fries would have been better with ketchup than the condiment it was served with. Wife had the Trash Trashley burger with regular fries. She said it was ok, but wished she had ordered something else. The fries were really good. They stayed crispy even as they cooled off. It might be a better experience in the evening or during the cooler weeks of the year.

My husband went here a year before and said we would love it. The restaurant itself is very pretty, and clean. The service was great. The food itself though was not what I was expecting. I had a short rib burger and asked for it medium rare. I took a picture of the burger before I started eating it, and it was cooked well (brown all the way through) in spots. It was not a thick juicy burger as I was expecting. My son had a flatbread pizza he said it was tasty but it was extremely hot and we ended up getting a to go box for him bc it burned his mouth. My husband said the cheese curds are excellent though and he had a bbq cheese burger. My bun was dry and crusty, almost as if my plate had been sitting under the warming lights too long. My basket of fries had the ends of all the good fries. Almost like they gave me the bottom of the bag of what was left. The seasoning on the fries were good. We went on a Sunday at open and did get seated right away. The food wasn’t worth the trip back sadly.

6 minutes wait time for a table. 3min before waited on. 6min receive lunch Crowded it was, with just enough room to move around. **NOTE** Their floors are really slick. Either post caution signs or sand the floors. Would recommend 👍

The food was great, but the service was abysmal. It took 15-20 minutes to receive every drink we ordered whether it was water, Diet Coke, tap beer, or $125 bourbon. It took forever to flag down the waitress anytime we needed something. I saw another customer get up and follow the server around the restaurant for assistance. We didn’t receive starter plates for 10 minutes after we received appetizers so the whole group was eating over the table. None of the dishes were cleared so we kept having to stack dishes to make room. We anticipated ordering dessert, but it took 2 hours to get through the meal with all of the additional waiting so we were over it. I would say it was a tactic to get us to order more drinks, but it took so long to get drinks that most of us sat with empty glasses all night. This was our first time here so I don’t know if this is their standard. The other couple in our group said that their service was fine last time, but they went at brunch and not many people were there. I came home and told my babysitter about the experience and she said that she had really bad service when she went there as well. The food was great and the kitchen staff who ran out the food were all great. Service is the only reason for the 3/5 stars rather than 5/5.

Came in for lunch. Walking in great vibes, clean, and great atmosphere. Staff were great and accommodating as we had a large party. Menu was awesome with a variety of options, especially for us macro counters. I ordered a leaner option of a bison burger. My only complaint for this visit I have was the burger being overcooked for a medium request and my green beans getting burned a bit, which is the cause for my rating. Flavor seemed lacking for the burger. Overall I did enjoy my meal! Definently will visit again in the future.

We’ve been to this location a few times before and the service has declined each time. My wife ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and a bison burger arrived. Apparently the server keyed the wrong item. Even though we circled what we wanted on the menu. The Smoky Bison cocktail I ordered had to be reordered 3 times. For some reason our server brought us a salt shaker no one asked for. My wife asked for extra ice that never came. We had to ask again. It’s not even busy in the venue. The server never checked on us. We had to ask for a refill on a sweet tea. When we asked the server assumed we wanted the check. But we actually wanted dessert. I seriously have no desire to come back to this place for awhile.

A positive visit to The Hangry Bison was overshadowed by a serious lapse in quality control. The short rib burger was delicious, and the team service at the bar was notably attentive. However, the experience took a negative turn upon finding an olive seed in the burger, a potentially dangerous oversight. Despite notifying multiple servers of the food safety issue, management failed to follow up, which was a significant and disappointing lack of communication. While the food and bar staff were commendable, the poor management response on such an important matter is a serious concern for future patrons.

We’ve been to this location a few times before and the service has declined each time. My wife ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and a bison burger arrived. Apparently the server keyed the wrong item. Even though we circled what we wanted on the menu. The Smoky Bison cocktail I ordered had to be reordered 3 times. For some reason our server brought us a salt shaker no one asked for. My wife asked for extra ice that never came. We had to ask again. It’s not even busy in the venue. My husband went here a year before and said we would love it. The restaurant itself is very pretty, and clean. The service was great. The food itself though was not what I was expecting. I had a short rib burger and asked for it medium rare. I took a picture of the burger before I started eating it, and it was cooked well (brown all the way through) in spots. It was not a thick juicy burger as I was expecting. My son had a flatbread pizza he said it was tasty but it was extremely hot and we ended up getting a to go box for him bc it burned his mouth. My husband said the cheese curds are excellent though and he had a bbq cheese burger. My bun was dry and crusty, almost as if my plate had been sitting under the warming lights too long. My basket of fries had the ends of all the good fries. Almost like they gave me the bottom of the bag of what was left. The seasoning on the fries were good. We went on a Sunday at open and did get seated right away. The food wasn’t worth the trip back sadly.

Went there the Saturday before Mothers Day for a MD lunch. Service was marginal at best, the burgers were not that good and the one chicken sandwich was below average. Had to wait forever for drink…

I have been here many times , the food is top notch. The service was only good one time. Servers initially get your order and never come back until the food comes out. I literally have to go up to the bar and get drink refills. I was there last Friday and it took 1 hour to get my wings . Hangry Bison you need to fix your issues. This is getting ridiculous.

The food was disappointing — the patty was overly salty, the fries were very dry, and overall everything tasted quite odd. We also waited a long time before anyone even came to our table, and the service felt awkward and unprofessional. The atmosphere was chaotic rather than enjoyable. Unfortunately, not a good experience.

The water destroyed the whole experience. Order lemonade, Nope still tasted the nasty water. Very cheap with the arugula on burger.
