Adventured to Orlando for a day trip to check out some art galleries and googled somewhere to get coffee this came up. The coffee was awesome (so was the pasta salad) …too bad I live over an hour away I’m in grad school and it looks like an awesome place to sit and do school work considering they’re open so late!!

A cool cafe that I've always driven by but couldn't stop in until now. Totally worth it. Loved the food, coffee, and vibe. Feels like my old living room

You know that feeling where you're trying to escape "Big Coffee" but not sure where to go? Here's where you go. Aside from having same first name as my cousin, this place has charm. Even though I waltzed in wearing gym clothes and eyeliner, try it sometime, I didn't feel out of place. The vibe felt super chill. I had me a hot coffee and a piece of the peanut butter pie. I couldn't finish it because it was so rich so I definitely recommend splitting it with a special someone. The coffee is smooth and silky and invigorating. The artwork is also for sale and unique. If a certain beautiful if not nihilistic piece is still there is upcoming Friday, I will return to purchase it. So in summary, step on in and have yourself a cup of coffee or a brewski. Enjoy to the fullest.

Absolutely my favorite place in the world. Best coffee hands down. Iced coffee sweet with cream for me at all times.

So we were next door while my child was getting their hair done and I was overdue for lunch. I was looking at driving somewhere and bringing food back for everyone when the stylist recommended this place. Being as I like to try new places I figured we had nothing to lose. We walked the hundred feet and went in. They were not crowded but there were a few people sitting inside having coffee and such. We took our time and read the whole menu before deciding. We got the turkey and cranberry sandwich, a Cuban and a raspberry walnut wrap. My kids had the Chunky Monkey and the caramel frozen coffees. We were impressed with everything. The sandwiches we're good sized and we all had chips with them. I look forward to going back and trying some of their other fare. If you are in the area skip the fast food and make this your stop.

Used to love this place when I was in high school in Winter Park some years ago. Had the chance to go back recently, and everything I loved about it is as it was. Really good coffee, vegan snacks, and an vibe that is so much cooler than I could ever hope to be, yet still completely inviting.

Adore Austin's! Always an adventure out here, laidback and artsy atmosphere; bang-up coffee and live musicians; surprisingly good eats with lots of vegan and gluten free options! Parking can be snug. Pay attention to the bulletin board! I've been able to score free House of Blues tickets, other art events get posted up there too!

Always dig the vibe here. One of the last OG Judgement free late night spots left in Orlando. Food is pretty good (Oreo Cheesecake and Turkey Ruben, thank me later). Good coffee and tea selection selection, always something going on. Staff is always friendly.

This place is open twenty-four seven. But it's also a great little late night 🌃 coffee ☕ and dessert 🍰 place. It's weird funky cool 😎. There's local art 🎨 for sale on the walls by local artists. Board games are available if you're bored. Open mic 🎤 night weekly. Beer 🍻, wine 🍷 and Breakfast 🥣 are available too. Stop in get some coffee sit back and just chill. Pet friendly.

The oriental salad was SO good, and a decent portion as well! The peanut butter pie was definitely the best peanut butter pie I've ever had. I also tried the avacado toast, which was good, but would be better with cheese. Their beers are from small breweries & the ginger cinnamon spice tea was very good. We were there during poetry night & had a great time! I highly recommend supporting this business. It was worth the visit for sure!

Nice place to hang out and listen to nice music as you study or just chill. They have various venues throughout the week to vibe out to. The quiche was very hot and tasted great!

Just the right amount of "strange" to keep me 🤔 interested. The coffee is in big burlap bags that give off a "there might be a tarantula in here" feeling.🤣 The coffee ☕ is very good, the owners are also servers, and they are SUPER friendly!! There's outdoor and indoor seating so it's very cool. If you're a wine lover, they have a cool assortment of them.💖

I'm new to the area and I'm looking for places to study as a college student who's tired of Starbucks! Well this places was super cool, great coffee, and good snacks! I heard they even have music, comedy, & poetry on certain nights. It's a great atmosphere and super sweet staff. I will definitely be using this as a new study spot!

First time here since it’s right by my work. No expectations going in. Simple, with great fast service. I love the hipster vibes and artwork. Great music too. Most importantly though, great iced coffee. Soon to be my go-to coffee spot.

Great vibe, staff, and cafe! The drinks and food are both affordable and great, and all of the games ensure there’s always something fun to do. Austin’s is a historic staple of Winter Park that celebrates the arts with events and has a charming vibe. Unfortunately the city wants to shut it down for more parking, but I’ve never been unable to park around here, there’s a lot in the back. Support your local cafes!

This place is the jam!!!! My favorite spot to go to for a good cup of coffee and tunes. Love to hear the live band and as well the night life is awesome here. Definitely a great place to check out if you're in the local area.

Austin’s Coffee is one of those places that’s a little strange but in a good way! The vibe is quirky and unique, making it a fun spot to hang out, but it might not be for everyone. The coffee is great, and the atmosphere is chill, perfect for working or relaxing. There’s a lot of character here, from the decor to the eclectic crowd. It’s not your typical coffee shop, but if you’re open to something a little different, it’s definitely worth checking out!

Austin’s Coffee has been a staple in Orlando for decades—especially known for hosting one of the best open mics in the city every Sunday and for fostering a genuinely welcoming creative community. Between the unique decor, eclectic crowd, and strong sense of local culture, it’s long been a favorite for many people for many reasons. That’s why it’s such a relief—and a joy—to say that the grand opening of the new location absolutely delivered. The vibe, the art, the look, and the feel are all still there—but improved. The new space is more open and thoughtfully laid out, no longer narrow or cramped, while still maintaining the character that made Austin’s special. There’s a beautiful interior paired with an outdoor area to hang out, which gives the space room to breathe without losing intimacy. We went for the first Sunday open mic at the new location, and the place was packed. The crowd was colorful, the energy was high, and it truly felt like the community showing up to support something they love. The stage lighting was on point, and the night featured a surprise appearance by local superstar comedian Preacher Lawson (of America’s Got Talent fame), along with the excellent hosting by Craig Norberg, who has been running these shows every Sunday and continues to do an incredible job. The lineup brought together legendary comedians alongside fresh new voices, creating a diverse, supportive, and genuinely fun night of comedy. Everyone was encouraging, the room was engaged, and you could tell people were just happy to be there. Austin’s Coffee didn’t just reopen—it leveled up. The heart of the place is still intact, the community is still strong, and the future looks bright. I’ll absolutely be back.

Came in the day after the grand opening. Unfortunately the espresso machine was down, so I just had the coffee. This has more space than the old place and it will only be a matter of time before it has the same lived-in feeling as the old place.

I love Austin's Coffee. The new location is not bad, I miss the old place but this is technically closer to our apartment. Food is okay but the coffee and music are great. A place for hanging out and spending hours without feeling pressured to leave.

Its a bit trendy, but good menu. See pics for atmosphere. Open comedy nights sunday 8 pm. If youre a comic, call early to get on the list or it wont happen.

Great show and humble people. Live music and local celebrities hang out here. Chill vibe low-key lots cool activities to do with the friends. Great study spot. Love the art and all the music on their new spot that just opened. Go check it out. Very cozy familiar spot. Support local talent. Ophik on the drums.

Came here for the second time today with a couple friends and had the most pleasant experience compared to the first time going. Tristan and Marry were so great and personable, and the pastries were delicious. I didn’t know what to get and she recommended the chai and it’s now my go to. I will definitely be back asap, was so sad to hear about what the city is trying to do though ):

We really liked this place. We saw as we passed by, so decided to stop in real quick. Not much parking in this area, so make sure to look behind the building for parking. The young lady at the counter was great, she was attentive, kind, and gave great recommendations. The iced coffee had great flavor and wasn’t too sweet. The decor and ambiance was a very hipster crafted kind of deal. Overall, we recommend to give it a try.

Austin’s is a true place to relax and enjoy the people there. A great place to hang out. Unfortunate that Winter Park Government is trying (and unfortunately successfully shutting this place down to replace it for something like a parking lot (idk)). It is definitely not for everyone but it is an amazing place that one should at least try once!

Stopped by on a Friday night, singer/songwriter night. Cool and chill vibe. Had lots of options on food and drinks, and I would like to go back and try out more options. Had a frozen coffee was good, but I think flavoring may have overpowered the coffee flavor, or coffee wasn't strong enough. Parking is in the back, which can get little busy depending time of day you go. Chill atmosphere, cool decor, appropriate for a artsy local coffee dive. Staff was really nice and explained and gave alternatives to what could make. Worth checking out.

Lived in Orlando 6 years until 2018, haven't been back since 2019, and moved to the west coast recently and still dream about butterscotch lattes, the mile high peanut butter pie, and jazz on Thursdays. Literally my favorite coffee shop in the world, on the planet (and I've been to MANY!) Studying at this place helped me get my degree. Thank you, I'll always be back :)

First off, love this place. I came twice this week and had two different experiences. I came in a morning to study, and the barista with glasses and dark hair was great. Food was amazing, best coffee and crossiant i’ve had. He was super helpful with what to order. I came another night and it was a different male barista. I tried to order multiple things, where I was just told you guys were out of, or had no hot product left for the night. I ended up just getting a hot coffee, and it was cold and filled with coffee grounds. He may have been having a bad night so I don’t want to base my whole review off of him. Still the best coffee shop in winter park! Disappointed to hear the city is trying to boycott.

Huge menu and good coffee. I ordered the P-Nutty and it was good, you can’t really taste the peanut butter though. They offer all day breakfast and also have a lot of treats there. Cashier/barista was nice, too.

Latte was good however their website doesn’t match what’s in the shop. On the website it says they offer a large latte as well as large cold brew but they only have 16oz of both in the shop! Otherwise fine experience!

Cuban sandwich was 3.5/5 for the price. Coffee was 4/5. Space is great but as a tourist felt unwelcomed by one of the staff. Just be aware of how indie they are to strangers. Recommend taking in the space and a coffee to go.

L

Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The aesthetic is fun grunge dive bar. Please be warned that there are open mics EVERY night. When we went, there was one man running the entire place: taking orders, making food, serving drinks. It was impressive, but not the most efficient. The food was pretty good! Nothing stellar but it got the job done.

I really do like this place and the overall vibe. But when I went last week, I saw a small bug crawling on the wall and at first just thought oh it’s summer in Florida it happens, but a few minutes later I saw a bigger one that was clearly a roach walking on the floor. It put me off towards coming back unfortunately :/

Went in early morning to grab a coffee while my car was being serviced nearby, and the service was overall pretty good. The one downside I saw was the cleanliness of the place. In the hour I spent there, I killed 3 bugs on my own... the bathroom was atrocious and had bugs in it as well. The coffee was good but, I dont know if I will return given the condition of the place.

i came from out of town to go to a jazz jam and ew!! for those who want to get to the point: gross coffee, roaches everywhere, and an extremely dirty space. as soon as i walked in my allergies started acting up even while already on my allergy meds. i could barely breathe the entire time i was there even after taking more allergy meds. if you’re sensitive to dirty and dusty small spaces with even dustier furniture i would refrain. their bathroom is also disgusting. i love graffiti bathrooms and there’s is definitely one, but they also have a petty little sign up that their walls are for “artists only”. whatever. i also saw a dead roach in the middle of the walk way, as well as two live ones walking around in the few hours i was there. i got a latte upon arriving and it just wasn’t very good. very sweet and milky. after i saw the roaches all i got was a soda and cleaned the top in the disgusting bathroom cause i was just there to support my friends. i fear this place needs to just shut down already. there are a ton of better options in orlando. i think its weird that they are constantly asking for their customers to save them instead of just stepping it up so that people come back.

I came in for a cup of coffee the other night and it was just completely uncomfortable. The barista im not sure her name. Dark hair, no eyebrows looks like a X , she wasn’t really too friendly as it seemed she was pre occupied with her friend group there. She handed out free Nuturls and food all night making jokes like you guys don’t check inventory and also having excessive conversations about doing hard drugs. As a paying customer this can be extremely uncomfortable especially trying this place out for the first time. The kids drinking seemed underage as well. I would reevaluate who your employees are since they are the face of your establishment. The coffee didn’t taste put together as well as it just looked like she was rushing to get back to her conversations. I hate to right such a long concerning message but it was just a very out of ordinary uncomfortable experience.

Looks like a cool place. Vibes looked cool but what the heck is up with the iced coffee .. what a disappointment. I mean, iced coffee lovers know what I good iced coffee looks like as soon as they see it . And this was not it. And ok, maybe they don’t specialize in ice coffee .. a recommendation of something that would’ve been actually good, would’ve worked for me. Maybe I’ll give it another try. Idk.
