Don Juan Café was a great experience! The food was amazing and full of flavor, and the service was very good and attentive. The atmosphere was calm and serene, which made it a really enjoyable place to dine. I also have to mention how modern and extremely clean the bathrooms were — something you don’t always see. Overall a great spot and definitely worth visiting! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ended up getting the Tiramisu specialty latte and French toast for breakfast. Delectable and so tasty. Service was amazing and the atmosphere is so clean and bright inside the establishment. Didn't get a photo of my friends sandwich, but it also looked so yummy. Thank you to the young lady who took care of us behind the counter.
Such a cute & cozy vibe, first time here we came after looking up “breakfast” on Google Maps, when first came in we were kinda scared they didn’t had “breakfast breakfast” bc at first it looks like just a coffee shop, but lemme tell u something they have a GREAT menu with amazing options, we got 2 breakfasts and they were amazinggg, really delicious and a big portions (had to pack the rest to go) for coffee we asked Karen the Brazilian girl at the counter who was really sweet and helpful, she recommended the Salted caramel chai and it also was so so good, my fiancé is not a big fan of coffee and he devoured the whole drink ahhaha, she also recommended some pastries like the empanada and coffee brownie 100/10, then the server (Kamila I think was her name) came really quick to our table brought everything fast and was kind to us. Thanks for the amazing coffee, breakfast and the great service!! We’ll be back 💅😊
This was my first time coming here and I must say that it did not disappoint. Everything was amazing from the coffee to the food and the atmosphere. Definitely record to all of my coffee lovers.
This place hits every time. I’ve been coming here for a couple years and it’s always great. Super friendly service. Amazing food and coffee. It is a little pricey but the quality is there.
The place is very nice, your incredible attention would visit you thousands of times more I felt so well taken care of. The cafe is amazing is a place for everyone. 1000% recommended.
Wow! We love it. Great options and everything we tried was so tasteful. Vegan options available. My wife tried the tofu scramble and was excellent.
The breakfast sandwich I got was really good, it has bacon, eggs, onions, avocados, and the house sauce. Then to pair with it i got a coffee that was just delightful it was the tiramisu one
Good Café With Great Coffee, But Empanadas Need Improvement Café Don Juan is a really nice spot. The food was good, and the coffee is absolutely awesome — definitely one of the highlights of my visit. The only issue I had was with the pastelón empanadas. I asked for a fresh one, but they gave me one that was reheated. When I went to the front to request a fresh empanada, I was told they don’t stay there more than three days. That’s exactly why I wanted a truly fresh one. I hope they can improve the freshness or service around the empanadas, because everything else was great. Overall, still a good café with excellent coffee.
We tried Café Don Juan for the first time and absolutely loved it! The café has a beautiful and modern ambiance with a warm, welcoming vibe. The quesitos were perfectly flaky and delicious, the café lattes were smooth and flavorful with beautiful latte art, and the service was excellent—friendly and attentive. Everything came together for a wonderful experience. Definitely a new favorite spot for coffee and pastries!
Great place for sandwiches and coffee. Highly recommend the Don Jack if you enjoy ciabatta bread with a crispy outside and soft inside. The Salted Chai Caramel is the best drink I have ever had in my life. Fries are extra crispy and tasted amazing with the cilantro mayo, very much worth the upcharge. Would get again.
I have never been to Don Juan but needed a coffee before Pilates next doors. The gentleman behind the counter was the most considerate person ever! He washed out my cup of coffee I brought in with me and filled it with something much better! I mentioned that I was pregnant and he even asked if I wanted full caffeine or half. What a great way to start my Monday morning!
Not to be missed. Here in the area for a doctor appointment and decided to have breakfast. Walked in to a very clean, relaxed and very clean restaurant. The layout is open and spacious, nice menus and clear display cases quickly draw your attention to their focus and style of food. The staff is warm and welcoming and the patrons all seemed comfortable and pleased. Easy to read the room, this is a place where locals come to be treated to coffee or a meal in a welcoming and comfortable setting. I ordered a latte and a piece of Guava bread to start. Being a gourmet baker of sorts myself, I was impressed with all the baked goods. The one page menu is filled with creative and artisan renderings of typical dishes. They offer Panini style sandwiches on “Pan Sobao” which feels a lot like typical water bread you find in Cuban or Puerto Rican sandwiches. I ordered one of the Panini’s with egg, bacon, avocado, onion and a cilantro mayo. It was fabulous. My wife ordered a spinach, bacon and cheddar omelette which came with grilled toasted Pan Sobao. It was perfectly cooked. The food was served hot and beautifully plated and garnished. Had an excellent experience. Will return when in the area.
Cafe Don Juan is a gem! I loved the personal touch of having the coffee served directly to my table. It felt so warm and welcoming, adding an extra layer of charm to the experience. While the wait might be a bit longer as the barista brings each coffee to customers, it’s well worth it for that personalized touch. And the coffee itself? Absolutely fantastic – rich, smooth, and expertly made. A perfect spot to enjoy a quality coffee experience with a cozy, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!
First time here and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised how amazing it is here. The atmosphere has a very downtown NYC vibe. The food is delicious and prepared/presented stylishly. Eli was very accommodating and super polite. Jenny made my latte and was not only delicious but made with "love". I appreciate the experience. Thanks guys.
Can I call this place a hidden gem? I didn't know it existed until a week ago, despite driving by the spot almost 5 times a week. But I'm glad I now know it exists because it has been a great place for food and coffee so far. The place is born out of Puerto Rico and looks like this is their first in the Florida/US market, which is exciting. The primarily serve Latin-style coffees, with Cafe Con Leche being their go to, but surely not their only options. Their most recent special was the Tiramisu Latte, which was pretty good. They also offer tea if interested. As for the food, their Bacon Avocado breakfast sandwich is really good. I highly recommend. They have interesting-filled Colombian and Puerto Rican empañadas and other treats if you are looking for something lighter. The place is very clean and nicely organized. The dining area has plenty of seats and a good amount of room to work if you are looking to work away from the office. Honestly, I'm not sure how I kept missing it, but I'm glad I found another great option to enjoy.
Cafe Don Juan offers convenient and delicious breakfasts. Their plantain empanada was really good. I can also recommend their Chai Latte. It was very creamy and flavorful. You will not go bad here is you’re looking for a good breakfast or brunch. It does get busy during the weekends. Their waffles with fruit are delicious. Give Cafe Don Juan a try you will not disappointed.
If you enjoy good quality food with excellent presentation, trendy and inviting decor, and great service, this is the place to go. We had the pumpkin pancakes (which were so good that I didn’t use syrup), ham, egg and cheese sandwich (the cheese melted beautifully and the bread was soft and delicious), oatmeal (my husband ordered it for him, but it was so delicious that I ate most of it), chai latte tea, and a latte coffee (I do not usually drink regular coffee but after I tried it, I ordered a 12 oz cup). We heard about this place from a friend and decided to try it out. Definitely a come back. My husband and I love to try new places but I do not leave reviews often. This is actually my second review. Since I was so impressed with the place, the food, and the service, here I am spreading the word of a little gem. Come, try a level above your usual breakfast or brunch experience, you will definitely enjoy everything!
Café Don Juan is a really nice cafe/coffee shop in Winter Park. I’ve been wanting to visit for a long time because I’ve heard their sandwiches are really good, and they were! We came for lunch and had: an iced caramel salted chai, slice of guava bread, Tripleta open-faced sandwich, and Don Felipe sandwich. There is a reason my review is not a perfect 5/5 though. The iced caramel salted chai was excellent. It had a great chai flavor and wasn’t overly fake-tasting or overly-sweet like other chai drinks. Definitely would recommend! The guava bread wasn’t anything to write home about - we personally found it pretty dry, and perhaps that could’ve just been because we got a bad or older slice. Maybe it’s much better when it’s fresher. The two sandwiches were excellent. We would recommend either - and the taro chips on the side were great as well! However, I’ve only given 4/5 for Café Don Juan because their prices are really a bit ridiculous. They are much more expensive then just 10 months ago (as you can see from pictures people have previously taken of the menu on Google Maps) - the Don Felipe was basically $16 and the Tripleta open-faced sandwich was $17! That is really expensive for a sandwich! So I’m not sure how often I’ll be able to come back here, and unfortunately, due to (assumed) high rent cost, I doubt the prices will go down at all - they’ll likely only continue to go up. I guess if you have a lot of money to spend, and $17 isn’t a big deal for a sandwich at lunch, I would say go right ahead and come here. Food-wise, this place nails it. Maybe stay away from the guava bread, but their drinks and sandwiches are excellent. I just hope they can do something about their prices! 🙏🏻
I was really excited to visit this café to try the French toast. Although parking was a bit difficult, everything seemed fine at first. However, I was immediately disappointed by the rude attitude of the staff upon entering. The food also didn’t meet my expectations—the flavor was underwhelming, and the strawberries in the dish weren’t clean. While the overall vibe of the place was cute, I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this café to my friends.
