Everything tasted really good and fresh!

Good place for Sushi and general Japanese fare. I enjoy Teriyaki Chicken and Rice with vegetables. The menu has a good variety of Sushi, and the food is made to order from a hibachi grill. Most of the fare seems to be made fresh. Honestly, this is the best Japanese food I've found in Winter Park.

We love Kyoto!!! We come for the happy hour. We've been getting sushi here every Valentine's Day since we got together, and we've been together 10 years.

We came in for lunch on mother's day. Very fast service and the food was so good. Pleasant surprise of the staff giving us a mini bouquet of flowers for mothers. So sweet🥹🥹 my first time there but I'll definitely have to return

Kyoto is a hidden gem in Winter Park! The hibachi experience was top-notch, with skilled chefs putting on a thrilling show. The food was delectable, from the perfectly seared steak to the flavorful shrimp. Friendly staff, cozy ambiance, and impeccable service. A must-try for hibachi lovers!

We order out every week. Tofu stir fry noodles and salmon hibachi. Can’t get enough, so delicious and great portions!

We had a great experience at Kyoto! The service was fantastic, and the woman who took our order was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions with ease. The menu is extremely extensive, offering so many choices. We tried the bento boxes, and while the soup and salad were fantastic, the main dishes didn't quite match up in quality and left us feeling like there might have been a bit too much MSG. However, the overall experience was still positive, and we're excited to come back and try other dishes like the ramen or hibachi. Looking forward to our next visit!

i love this place. found it on accident and have been back probably 6 or 7 times. the food and amount for the price is so good and delicious and service is fast. its just so good makes me want to cry. i sometimes lie awake at night craving it at 3 am.

Looked up sushi that was near me and it brought us to Kyoto. Awhile back I remember a different restaurant being where this one is now. Pretty simple spot. Parking isn't the best but it's alright. You come in and the restaurant has a very spacious open layout. Had some seating outside as well. Very large menu on display by the checkout. They had a large and fun sushi selection to choose from. I got a Kyoto roll and a eel avocado roll as well as a strawberry boba and my friend got a steak and noodle stir fry. Food was served quickly. Everything tasted really fresh and it was filling and the price wasn't too steep either. It hit the spot and if you are looking for some Asian food in the area that won't break the bank because there's plenty of outrageously priced sushi In winterpark id definitely come try this place out. Parking and decor were the only "eh" things about this place.

Everything was very fresh but the eel was a little too fresh for me. My preference. I don’t like the taste of fishy fish and it was a bit fishy. Otherwise! Just as good in Winter Park as Colonial

Of all the Kyoto’s we have visited, and we love them all, the Winter Park location of Mills is by far the best! So spacious inside and very clean, the food was fresh and absolutely amazing. But the service, the service was beyond anything I expected for a quick service restaurant. Abby checked on us multiple times and treated us like we were at a sit down restaurant with full service. She’s a true gem!

Tonight was my first time visiting Kyoto. I ordered take out. The Lady at the cashier was very friendly and polite from beginning to end. The food portion was much larger than expected and most importantly the quality and taste of the food was very delicious

They took our order right away and gave us our drink cups. Our soups were brought right out followed by our appetizer. The Miso soup was different then what I am used to from the big Japanese Steakhouse. But it was very good. We had the Krab Blossoms for appetizer with a Sweet Chili sauce which they were delicious. Our Hibachi entrées followed shortly after. They did not skimp on the lunch portions either. The steak was cooked to my liking and the chicken was tender and moist. The fried rice was delicious as well with a good mix of vegetables. We will definitely be back to try the Bento Box and other types of rolls.

I dropped in for a quick meal and within minutes the assistant manager visited me at my table to make sure I knew the ingredients in the roll I ordered had a bit of gluten. From that moment on I was a fan of Hers- and the restaurant. Super friendly. Delicious food and convenient location. I will be back and highly recommend!! So last weekend we tried the location on east colonial and literally fell in love with it! The food was so yummy that we spent the entire week daydreaming about it lol. Fast forward to today, we were trying to find the nearest location to our house and come to find, this location JUST opened up nearby. We are so stoked! This location also has a great ambiance with great food and wonderful customer service. They just do not miss a beat. We chose to eat outside and the decor was just too cute. I just cannot rave about this place enough. If you haven’t been, please visit!! The menu has so many great options and flavors— you’re bound to find exactly what you’re craving.

Shrimp tempura was fried to perfection. Kyoto has similar vibes to bento just more options I think. Everything sushi seemed excellent! Nothing negative to say about this place!

Stopped in and went with the scallop stir fry noodles which had five medium sized scallops cooked over stir fried noodles and lots of broccoli, zucchini, carrots and onions. It was tasty and filling. ($17)

Nice Japanese food place in Winter Park. We tried their sushi, and it was pretty good. Ajay tried the bento box, hibachi, and ramen Noodle soup, all of which were tasty and good. A little pricey though. They're service is very good and we didn't have to wait too long to get our food. Friendly staff as well.

Kyoto has a large variety of food. Everything I’ve had there has been very good. The service sometimes is a little lacking in speed but overall the presentation and the taste of the food is great.

Came here with my mom and two kids to get a bite to eat before a movie. What a chill, relaxed little place to get a bite! Large, open-spaced patio seating also nice! Quite an extensive menu, too! Our party ordered a number of different items from sushi to Bento boxes to ramen. Everything was excellent! Everyone enjoyed their meal. We laughed and enjoyed our food so much, that we actually ended up missing our movie. We were okay with it! They even have a boba menu that was quite good. Try the Thai tea!! Will definitely make this my go-to place when looking for sushi in Winter Park.

Was quite good, however the ice machine appeared to have something in it, but asking for ice at the counter had the employees bring fresh ice out for us.

This is a faster-food sushi & Japanese-inspired sit down spot. It’s cute and nice for a more informal meal. Both my friend and I tried the bento box- it came with a protein, rice, a spring roll, california roll, and another of your choice. It wasn’t the best food I’ve ever had but it was good for the price. The store was clean and nice, with a covered outdoor area.

Better than I thought it would be honestly. Poke was fresh. Shrimp tempura was pretty good. Place was clean and service was good. Counter clerk was friendly. Outside table was wobbly. Wasn't busy at 11:45 PM on Friday.

Great place for quick sushi that is a little above Publix sushi. I can tell they put a slight local twist on the items we got, but that is expected. I got some water and that tasted odd but maybe that is just how their tap water taste. I would recommend just getting a fountain drink and getting your water from there or a soda. Overall, I would eat here again.

There is nothing wrong with this place. There is also nothing great. Except the egg in my ramen that was fire. The staff are great but nothing exceptional. The atmosphere is clean but cold. Lets talk ramen. The noodles are stuff. The meat is ok. Its mid for the price.

i don't often post reviews, much less negative ones. however, i felt compelled to in this case. if you want gentrified, mid-quality japanese food - probably a good spot. i was disappointed, firstly, by the thai tea. a staple in thai tea is to make it with condensed milk. that is quintessential thai tea. unfortunately, the thai tea here is... made with half and half. other drinks were fine - but i don't recommend the thai tea if you've ever drank real thai tea before. onward to the food. the noodles are... fine, if a touch bland? they're overcooked for sure, but i recommend adding heaps of soy and sesame sauce to add any kind of flavor to it. vegetables in the stir-fry are a bit hard, but i won't knock points down for that because that's usually how it goes in more casual restaurants. the sushi was a mixed bag? plate? not sure what a good metaphor is. the sushi i had was fine because it didn't have any fish in it... lol. the other sushi roll was... interesting. as you can see in the pictures, i pressed down on the salmon and it was certainly something! it quite literally flipped around on the plate. salmon should fall apart pretty easily in sushi, not be firm enough to bounce on the floor and catch it on the way up. other than that, the service was wonderful. everyone was very, very kind. genuine compliments to the staff. however, i'd stay away from fish-based sushi and the noodles. a touch too expensive for the quality being given. disappointing. maybe they had a rough night. who am i to judge? - aside from being a google reviewer, that is.

I’m so sorry but we came in for lunch we all ordered the Chicken lunch special and it was SO dry and hard we got dark meat but I’m pretty sure it was all extremely dry white meat. One of our friends sent his plate back and they tried to make him a new one and the chicken was all rubbery. The “White sauce” was cut with I’m guessing water? Because it poured out of the bottle like straight liquid with no flavor since it was cut with so much water. The server was very nice and we asked if the chicken had been cooked way earlier and she said yes they cooked all the chicken earlier to prepare for the “lunch rush” but it was basically dead in there so I don’t see the point in cooking it ahead of time for it to be old and dry for the customers. While we were there the girls at the counter had chic fil a doordashed to them and I’m not saying they can’t eat different foods but we were all like damn we should have gotten chic fil a too bc this is so nasty.

When I tell you I was shocked, that’s the kindest word to describe how astonished I was to taste this. The tuna was freezer burned, watery, zero flavor! Worst sushi I’ve ever EVER had!!!!!!! Completely ruined my appetite and night!
