Pastries as yummy as beautiful! We visited on a Sunday afternoon, knowing it would be crowded, so we decided to get our order to go. 📍The place: It's bright and well-lit, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual outing with your girls or your partner. 🧁 What we tried: Tiramisu: It was fantastic, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Berries and Cream Pastry: Very tasty, but quite sweet. The mousse inside seems to be white chocolate, which tends to be on the sweeter side. 🍩 Donut Chocolate Coconut: Amazing! I loved it, the coconut filling was really good. 🍩 Donut Signature Sprinkle: Good! 🍩 Donut Strawberries French Toast: Also good! 🙋♀️The service: The cashier was friendly and efficient, getting our order to us quickly. 🚗Parking: There's a parking lot available, though it's a bit small. We were still able to find a spot. I’d definitely return to try more pastries as they all looked amazing.
Ok…like you, I had driven past this adorable Coffee/Dessert shop for one too many times. I thought parking would be a problem, not so, an entire multi story garage is 75 feet away. Then, as I walked in, I said to myself, these prices are going to be ridiculous…yet they were very reasonable considering the decadent luxury that was my ginormous piece of cake. The cake is obviously meant to share. The coffee was fresh and delicious and a small carafe of cream came with it (Always a sign of good taste). I sat in one of a half dozen booths but the VERY long wooden table with media outlets ran the length of the cafe. Lots of delicious choices including the world’s largest Croissant! Delightful little spot! Service was great and all the girls were very helpful.
Sweet Slice of Heaven at The Glass Knife Stepping into The Glass Knife in Winter Park feels like entering a dream where elegance, charm, and indulgence meet. The moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that perfectly balances modern sophistication with whimsical warmth. Every detail of the décor — from the golden accents to the plush seating and soft lighting — invites you to relax and savor the experience. But as stunning as the surroundings are, the true stars here are the desserts. Each creation looks almost too beautiful to eat — artful, delicate, and bursting with color. The display cases shine like treasure chests, filled with intricately designed cakes, glossy éclairs, and perfectly crafted pastries. Every dessert is a masterpiece, carefully prepared to please both the eye and the palate. Favorites like their signature cakes, the decadent chocolate-on-chocolate creations, and the seasonal specialties are pure perfection. Every bite is a celebration of flavor and texture, from the richest ganache to the lightest, fluffiest sponge. The Glass Knife is not just a place to satisfy your sweet tooth — it’s a full experience, blending incredible craftsmanship, a stunning environment, and the sheer joy of dessert into something truly unforgettable. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply treating yourself, this Winter Park gem is an absolute must-visit.
We went for brunch and all was spectacular! The food was delicious! The service given by Skyy was welcoming and exceptional! The atmosphere made us feel relaxed! The space was clean and decorated with freshness and a summery feel. The overall ambiance created a sense of ease and we enjoyed every minute of it!
After visiting the Glass Knife the experience was sub par at best and the pastries in the glass were not fresh. However, after my review the Glass Knife was kind enough to reach out to me and assure me that they are taking my experience into consideration. I recognize and appreciate all the beauty and hard work that goes into this adorable location and I hope that they always have the most friendly service and delicious, quality products to offer their customers. Thank you for caring about my experience here. Happy holidays!
This place ROCKS. I have been waiting to come here for months. Since the beginning, I was met with incredible service. Reservations were easy, everyone was SO pleasant to work with, and I couldn’t be happier. A special shout out to Michelle our waitress the day of the meal. She was sooo efficient and fast and smiled at all our excessive requests. She was truly happy to serve us. Thank you to her for the exceptional service and the the restaurant for the incredible service!!
I stopped by The Glass Knife in Winter Park and had the Lavender Vanilla Cinnamon Latte. Let me just say, it was amazing. The flavors blended perfectly, smooth and comforting with just the right touch of sweetness. The atmosphere was calm and beautiful, the kind of place where you can slow down and really enjoy the moment.
I had the Lavender Vanilla Cinnamon Latte, Tomato & Feta Knot, and Peach Bellini Pastry. I always enjoy ordering food and drinks I’ve never tried before, things that you don’t find on a typical menu. These were delicious and I look forward to returning here yet again! Roma took care of us at our table and she was so kind and attentive. Always had a smile on her face, too. She was a pleasure to talk to along with all those who work at the Glass Knife! Thank you!
Such a cute boutique cafe/coffee shop/dessert bar. No flat white on the menu, but often a good barista knows how to make one. Such was the case and their flat white was on point. Often a flat white ends up just being a poorly made latte. Their flat white was great and beautiful (see pic). Definitely will be back to try their beautiful pastries and food.
Perfect place for lunch with the girls or a special significant other. Fancier than expected. I expected it to be a Panera-style grab-n- go bakery and Cafe, but was pleasantly surprised by the service and sit down atmosphere. It's a very cute updated boutique kind of Cafe. Food is serviced to your table with free water (I would have tipped better had I known I wasn't going to stand around & grab my own food). I ordered a meal with a dessert for dine-in and a dessert to-go. The roasted turkey sandwich on a pretzel roll was good quality ingredients and came with homemade pickles for what I would consider a fair price ($17). The baked goods I felt were pricier for what they were. The homemade oatmeal cream pie ($7) was delicious. The Arnold Palmer ($4) was mostly watery lemonade. The Peach Bellini pastry, a big part of why I stopped here, is where things went off the deep end. It was beautiful and artsy and unique. Unfortunately, the wide variety of textures and flavors were extremely odd and confusing to my palate (the goo inside with puree mint was the most flavorful part and yet it added to the flavor confusion). Not disgusting but definitely not something I would order again, especially at $13.
Amazing place for pastries, coffee, and sweets. The brunch is satisfying but not nearly as exceptional as the donuts, cakes, macarons, and everything else! Genuinely innovative and fun with fantastic art déco atmosphère that's blends seamlessly. Lia made wonderful coffees and Aura was a bright and fun waitress!
We worked with Ely to make the cake of our dreams for our wedding!!! I gave her some inspo pics and my vision, then told her to have creative freedom and look at the stunning masterpiece she came up with! I was getting my wedding photos taken while the cake was being delivered and I was so excited about the cake, I wasn’t paying attention to the photographer. 😂 The cake itself was rich, dense, flavorful and delicious. We got the almond cake with apricot filling and it was so decadent. The frosting was perfectly light and not overpowering either. The process to order was easy and Ely made sure to communicate all deadlines and helped us work around guests with allergies. This entire process was the easiest part of planning the wedding. I want to have another wedding just to order another cake from Ely.♥️
I went here for my sister birthday because she LOVES sweets. They had so many beautiful options. I ended up getting a nitro cold brew with salted caramel cold foam and a fresh croissants. For my sister I bought her 2 different cakes. I dont remember the name but they were both so yummy!
I just want to shout out my server Roma, because every single time I come in, she makes the experience top-tier. The service was incredible — super attentive, friendly, and genuine without ever feeling forced. She always knows how to keep the vibe right and make sure everything comes out perfect. The food? Insane as always. Every dish was on point, fresh, and full of flavor. It’s honestly rare to have a spot where the food AND the service hit every single visit, but The Glass Knife does it — and Roma is a huge part of why I keep coming back. Another great experience, another reason this place stays one of my Orlando favorites. Highly recommend.
I’ve been coming here for brunches, sweets, and vibes for years. It honestly never disappoints, and our server Sierra today was no exception. She was attentive, accommodating, and made our experience comfortably enjoyable!! The seating always feels private, but not too enclosed, and the music is loud enough to where other tables blend into the background but you can still hear your own table. Shoutout Sierra and the rest of the staff today for making the Glass Knife experience amazing as always!!!!
We had the mushroom quiche, the turkey club sandwich, and the chicken salad sandwich. Everything was delicious. Our favorite part was the drinks - the strawberry matcha latte and the chai latte are fantastic. We had Roma as our server, who was an absolute delight. She was very attentive. Can’t wait to come back!
Super cute. Yummy deserts. Visiting the area and wanted to celebrate a new mile stone in our lives with deserts. I purchased a few items and brought it home to the family. The youngs ladies were super kind and helpful. Hands down the presentation was everything I was truly impressed. Wish I lived closer to continue to support this beautiful business. Hands down everything we purchased was so yummy.
An Exceptional Culinary & Visual Experience in Winter Park The Glass Knife is absolutely a five-star experience and a mandatory stop in Winter Park. It is the perfect blend of high-end patisserie and cozy café, and every detail, from the decor to the presentation, is stunning. Everything is beautifully crafted—truly Instagram-worthy but, more importantly, delicious. Savory Menu Gems: Don't skip the savory menu! The brunch and lunch items are just as impressive. I highly recommend the Avocado & Egg Toast (garnished perfectly ) The Coffee: It’s the perfect pairing for their decadent pastries. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion with a slice of cake, meeting friends for brunch, or just grabbing a high-quality coffee and donut, The Glass Knife exceeds expectations.
A very nice place. Love the decorations and the atmosphere it brings. They have some nice delicious desserts. The food was lovely and the coffee as well. I got the eggs Benedict and the Lavender Vanilla Cinnamon coffee, highly recommend! Then for takeaway I got a chocolate chip cookie, warmed up which made it extremely tasty. The service was excellent as well
My wife and I just finished brunch at The Glass Knife, and we’re still talking about how good everything was. The whole place has such a warm, inviting feel, and the staff made the experience genuinely pleasant from the start. They have plenty of indoor seating and a really nice patio as well. As an added bonus they have a beautiful holiday tree up! I ordered the shakshuka, and honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had, so good. The sauce was rich and flavorful with just the right touch of heat, and the bread they served with it was unbelievable, perfect for scooping and soaking up every bit. My wife went with the biscuit platter and couldn’t stop praising the egg soufflé. The biscuits were crusty, crumbly and tender all at the same time. She really enjoyed the breakfast potatoes too, so flavorful. We also shared a glazed donut (lots of fancy options too but we went for simple) and it ended up being one of the highlights. Soft, lightly crisp on the outside, and not overly sweet, really well done. I wrapped everything up with a latte that was smooth and balanced, really enjoyable. Big shout out to Roma for taking such good care of us! Overall it was one of the most enjoyable brunches we’ve had in a long time. The Glass Knife absolutely delivered. We'll be back for sure.
My first time experience at The Glass Knife. Very chic ambiance, a nice place for dessert and coffee or tea after dinner. Plenty of parking spaces available. Desserts are pricey but a feast for the eyes and palate. They are decadent, indulgent, and delicious 😋 Coffee, espresso style beverages and teas are reasonably priced. There are various options and coffees/ espressos available on the menu. I ordered the cappuccino which had a lovely presentation and the flavor was nice. The hazelnut chocolate cake was a piece of art. It was served on a personalized Glass Knife dessert plate and paired with two gold finished dessert forks, perfect for sharing. If I did have to nitpick, it would be about the hot water used for brewing hot teas. My wife ordered the Earl Grey hot tea. She enjoyed the flavor but halfway through sipping the tea, it was barely warm. She did ask for more hot water but it was warm. I would suggest a hot water carafe for customers ordering hot teas, especially when sipping tea is done at leisure. Overall, a great first time experience. Definitely a place to try.
The Glass Knife is my favorite cafe in the greater Orlando area! The vibes are good & the food is great. The staff is friendly and professional. I love the spinach and mushroom quiche and side salad it comes with (the Dijon dressing is out of this world) and the turkey club sandwhich (although I wish it was still served on a turkey club). They have an assortment of beautiful pastries, but honestly their simple chocolate chip cookie is the best - I always get one as a snack for later. The decor is beautiful and I love to sit on their outside patio and sip hot chocolate. Parking is decent. Whether you go for a lazy weekend brunch or stop in anytime for coffee and a desert, the Glass Knife is the place for you.
Michelle was an amazing host. She helped pick out the best cakes for us. We got the hazelnut pastry, turkey club, chicken salad sandwich and their grilled cheese with tomato soup! Everyone was very satisfied after we left. Highly recommend!
Roma made an incredible experience. From delivering water immediately. To when I ordered the creme brulee drink knowing exactly what I ordered and mentioning it would be delicious. It was beyond delicious. I would keep coming back to this specific location. Thank you Roma for making a great experience and one I will return because of!!!
Sierra made recommendations as if she was a bestie who knew exactly what I liked! She was amazing! The Onyx was 👌🏻 AMAZING! Great service, great food, and they put us in the cutest booth, too.
We just stopped by for dessert and wow what desserts they have. A little pricey but worth it. The only gripe among us was my hot chocolate was almost warm. The dessert was outstanding.
This place has amazing tortas and delicious desserts! They’re a bit sweet, but still really tasty. The service is always good, and I love that they also serve brunch on Sundays. It’s a great spot to enjoy good food and relax!
The Glass Knife provided the cake for our wedding and it was amazing! Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious! The whole process from start to finish was great - friendly, organized, thorough, and made our vision come to life! Highly recommend them for your cake for any occasion!
Wonderful desserts and coffee. Loved the swan latte art by Lyn! Riley did a great job explaining all of the delicious options to pick from. Had a great experience and will come back.

Just moved back to Orlando and had a pleasure of going by and having brunch at one of my favorite eating establishments. I had a small issue with my meal that the manager took care of very nicely. Most of all, I have to say how wonderful my server, Olivia was. She was very polite and attentive. And when I told her about the meal she immediately went and got the manager and took care of it. I have to say she was everything that the Glass Knife represents. I cant wait to go back.
Like I came here for brunch and I’m still thinking about it. I ordered the Brioche French Toast and oh. my. god. It was so soft and buttery, perfectly golden, and just soaked up all that sweet goodness without being soggy (which is a crime, btw). It tasted rich and cozy but still totally brunch-appropriate. To drink, I went with the Lavender Vanilla Cinnamon Latte, and it was literally a hug in a cup. Warm, creamy, slightly floral, and slightly sweet. And can we please talk about Makayla?? Because she was EVERYTHING. So friendly, so helpful, and genuinely made the whole experience feel easy and fun. She helped me decide, checked in at the perfect moments, and just had that sweet, calm energy that makes you feel like you picked the right place. Honestly, Makayla alone is a reason to come back 💖 Overall: immaculate vibes, amazing food, cozy drinks, and top-tier service. If Makayla’s working, you already know you’re about to have the best brunch ever. 💅🥂

Always amazing, everything exquisite. Then order carrot pineapple cake for mom for 9-24 and the word to describe is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS AND INCREDIBLE. WE ALL LOVE THAT cake. KUDOS.
5 stars to whoever was making the food. My wife loved her club sandwich, my son said the BLT was the best he ever had, and I loved the peach cobbler waffle. The blueberry lavender pop tart was excellent as well. 2 stars on the service, at best. When we got to our table, the entire surface was wet. The hostess said she would dry it with paper towels, but after she did her thing, 60% of the table surface was still wet. Here comes our server. I ask her for paper towels so I can dry the surface. The server does it herself and now only 30% of the table is still wet. At least the wet areas are on the side of the table, so I let it go. We didn't get many smiles from our server, nor was she very cheerful. She seemed like she'd rather not be working. This could be why when our meal was done and we were waiting for our check, we waited...and waited...and waited. I then went to the front and asked the manager if he could get our server to bring us the check. Very quickly after that, there she was. I absolutely would go back to the restaurant for the food, but I would only do takeout. Overall: the restaurant gets 4 stars because of how good the food is. The hype I heard about the food is real. Service is spotty. There are good servers there. I saw them at other tables. We just didn't have it.
It’s always a great time when we visit The Glass Knife. The ambiance is always cozy even in the midst of a midday brunch rush. We received amazing service per usual, but Olivia really went above and beyond to make sure all of our requests were fulfilled. The food was delicious and the desserts skillfully crafted. I had a croissant sandwich that’s a little bit “Off-Menu” with turkey, egg, cheese, arugula, and pickled onions and a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. My only note would be that of the egg that was served with my sandwich. It was quite square in shape and had the texture of liquid eggs; which was in part my fault since I didn’t specify that I wanted a fried egg substitute. Either way the sandwich was demolished within minutes and I enjoyed my Bananas Foster Cold Foam Latte that complimented my meal perfectly.
We originally ordered a three tier cake to be delivered to our venue, but unfortunately, we had to switch our venue last minute they still made our three tier cake. Just add a foam instead and we upgraded too a double layered sheet cake. My only thing I would’ve changed is that the cake was not made so early because the raspberry filling seeped into our cake and could not be seen or tasted or seen, also they do not cut the cake so make sure your caterer or someone else can. Other than that the cake was perfection. We were so happy with the results.
The food was excellent. I ordered the California sandwhich and the flavor was spot on. Also added a fried egg yum 👍 I got the matcha latte cold (good but quite thick) We got a cappuccino (it looked better in the store not in to-go) A snickerdoodle cookie (good flavor but cake texture not cookie so quite heavy) A chocolate croissant (good flavor and dough but also heavy) This place was great and quick but I give it overall 4 stars because the person at the friend was unhelpful and barely talked to us.
The place has great looking desserts, my chicken sandwich and coffee were good. The cinnamon roll was ok. The place has limited seating, so we were seated outside the restaurant in the back.
We sat outside as they have a very nice outdoor seating area. The only thing was that the tables were pretty dirty. I used to wipe to wipe down the table. We sat at and it was pretty dirty. I know it’s an outside table, but after being cleaned after each use, I would think it would be more clean. The food was amazing! If you want a wonderful dessert, this is definitely the place to go! I will absolutely be back to explore the desert menu and coffee menu further!
Such a great lunch! The staff was super attentive and the food was really good. Loved the pimento cheese croissant, and the strawberry matcha was so refreshing.
Truly an experience for all the senses. Stopped in for brunch after church on Sunday and from the minute we walked in, our eyes took in the beautiful esthetic of the dining area, food presentation, cafe and little gift shop. Smell of fresh coffee and bakery items got the juices going while we waited to be seated. We got seated within 15 minutes, service was efficient, friendly and at a good pace from start to finish. We tried bunch of items from brunch menu. Only little complaints; eggs overcooked on the shakshuka and mac & cheese too cold and little flavor but otherwise, testy meal with good portions and of course the breads stole the show. We took bunch of sweets home to try with extended family and there's no doubt this is an amazing bakery and we will come back for sure!

Small. Smooth. Easy on the eye. Melt in your mouth. No other way to describe these delish pastries. The coffee on the other hand - let's just say that maybe I'm too picky being from Seattle. I love…
Quiet atmosphere and tasty treats. The staff never quite seem like they enjoy their job.
Ample parking when we pulled up and the inside is a cute little cafe style. Staff was laid back. Could've used more coffee but the tiramisu hit the spot for needing a sweet treat after dinner.
Stopped in on a Sunday morning. Greeted at the door and seated quickly. Took quite a bit for our server to greet us and ask about drinks. Unfortunately, that was the theme of her service, even thou…

Can't really fault the desserts and pastries, but really expensive, to the point it would stop me going back. 4 donuts and 4 hot chocolates for $50 is just too much. The hot chocolate was goo…

An excellent choice for a meal or just a drink with pastries and a desert with the options of indoor or outdoor seating. We chose the Pistachio Strawberry, the Salted Caramel Brownie, the Oatmeal C…

The piece of chocolate truffle cake was good. It was a huge piece enough to share with someone. Nice outdoor seating area.
I really love this place and I'm very excited about their upcoming location on Park Avenue. However, this time around their lunch food was disappointing 😢 Both the nicoise salmon and chicken salads were less than mediocre, made with "minced - canned" meat and sad old looking greens. Thankfully their cakes are still amazing! Next time I will skip the lunch and go for a coffee and dessert. Hope to change the review back to five stars on my next visit 🤞✌️
Not worth the price whatsoever. The presentation is beautiful but the desserts themselves were awful. I was excited to try the pumpkin pastry and the berries and cream pastry, they both looked beautiful and delicious, (emphasis on LOOKED), it felt like I was eating straight margarine and soap. The flavors were bland and the textures were lackluster, I couldn't even bring myself to finish the desserts I got. All style and no substance. Would not recommend.
I ordered a mocha latte and it looked and tasted like there was black sea salt on it, i’m not sure if this was intentional and apart of the drink but if it was i wish it was mentioned on the menu because it was not good. Additionally, I ordered a croissant and a sweet pastry, both were mediocre at best. Honestly for the price it’s better to go somewhere else. customer service and atmosphere are nice.

Sweet Mornings and Cozy Corners at The Glass Knife
Hey, if you're ever wandering around Winter Park on a crisp morning and find yourself craving something truly delightful, let me tell you about The Glass Knife. It’s quickly become a local favorite for good reason, and while it might get bustling, especially on a late Saturday morning, the experience is always worth it. Don't be surprised to see a decent-sized group already settled in, but what’s impressive is how surprisingly quick the service remains, even when they’re swamped. The moment yo...
The Glass Knife: Winter Park's Sweet Escape for Brunch & Lattes
Alright, let's talk about a spot in Winter Park that's truly special: The Glass Knife. If you've been searching for that perfect brunch destination or just an exceptional coffee experience, I've got a feeling this place is about to become your new regular.First off, the coffee. Seriously, people rave about their lattes, and for good reason. I've heard multiple times that they serve the best mocha lattes in all of Orlando – rich in flavor, but never, ever overly sweet. It's that ideal balance
