Came into Bento Sushi for the first time with absolutely no idea what I was doing. I was standing there staring at the menu like it was written in ancient hieroglyphics. Then Casey appeared. Not only did she explain everything without making me feel like I just crawled out from under a rock, but she helped me pick something that was actually FIRE. Patient, funny, and somehow knew exactly what I’d like before I did. If I come back (and I will), it’s 100% because of Casey. Give her a raise, a promotion, and maybe her own sushi roll named after her. 10/10 experience. Casey for president. 🍣👏
A nice spacious Asian restaurant. There are Chinese Korean and Japanese food. There are boba tea (many selection). The place is clean. Bring your credit card because it’s cashless. Look at the menu inside the entrance then order in the kiosk. The curry dip is very delicious. The string beans are very nice too. Ingredients are fresh. It’s cooked at order. On weekday there is a happy hour period in the afternoon. The items are around $5-6. I’ll try the Japanese next time. 5 stars
I stopped by Bento in Winter Park for lunch with my friend Gina, and it definitely won us over. Even though it’s a counter-service restaurant, they bring the food out to your table, which was a nice surprise and made the experience feel a bit more elevated without losing that casual vibe. The menu had a great variety—plenty of options whether you're craving sushi, noodles, or bento boxes (of course). Everything came out fresh, well-portioned, and beautifully plated. The staff was friendly, and the space was clean and modern with good energy for a lunch hangout. Pro tip: Be sure to bus your own table when you're done—it’s self-service style in that way. A little courtesy goes a long way in keeping the space welcoming for everyone. Great spot for a casual lunch date or catching up with friends. I’ll definitely be back!
Love their poke bowls! I drive from metrowest to the winter park location because it's so good. And Emily is fantastic! She told me about the different drink options when I couldn't decide which one I wanted. She was friendly and so courteous; really made my day! And you can't beat a bogo poke bowl deal.
I had the pleasure of visiting Bento, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! I ordered a poke bowl, and I was beyond impressed with the freshness of the ingredients and the perfect balance of flavors. The menu offered such a great variety, and everything was beautifully presented. What truly set this visit apart, though, was the outstanding service provided by Beverly. She was incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain the different options and make thoughtful recommendations. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail made the process so easy and enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure I had the perfect meal, and it was clear she genuinely cared about providing a great experience.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bento Cafe in Winter Park, and I have to say it was a memorable experience from start to finish. It had been several years since my last visit, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the evening. I was there with my son, who was excited to try sushi for the first time, and we were fortunate to have Kate as our server. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcomed and valued as customers. What really stood out to me was Kate's exceptional customer service. She was incredibly patient as my son and I asked several questions about the sushi menu, and she took the time to explain different options and offer her recommendations. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to engage in conversation made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare these days to find someone who genuinely embodies great customer service, and Kate absolutely did. She wasn’t just doing her job – she was making sure we had a great experience, and her attentiveness didn’t go unnoticed. The food itself was fantastic. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My son, who can sometimes be a picky eater, loved it, and I was equally impressed. Bento Cafe’s menu offered a variety of dishes that were both delicious and well-prepared, leaving us satisfied without being overly stuffed. What really left an impression on me, though, was how much the experience exceeded my expectations. It’s clear that the owners of Bento Cafe have done a great job in curating not just a great menu, but also in hiring staff who care about the customer experience. The food, the ambiance, and especially the service were all top-notch. Based on this visit, I can confidently say that I will be returning much sooner this time around. If you’re in the Winter Park area and craving sushi or a great dining experience, I highly recommend giving Bento Cafe a try!
The food and service was delicious, the serving sizes were very large! The atmosphere was fun and inviting! I got the garlic chicken and broccoli bowl with the vanilla boba tea, which was absolutely delicious! It was so flavorful!!!! Absolutely can't wait to go back.
Great food and service. We had no issues on our visit here for dinner. It’s on par with the UCF location. Our food was fresh and delicious. For the price the sushi is great.

One my favorite fast casual Asian places! The options are wide from rice bowls, noodles and poke. Along with sushi and even boba teas. I personally enjoy the lunch deal between 2-5 PM. Place is always clean and service is fast!

Price here is pretty steep for what you get but the quality is always fresh and delicious so I will put my money where my mouth is and shut it and enjoy my food. The tuna here. Is very fresh. I love getting tuna poke bowls here because of how fresh their tuna always tastes. And it's not tiny wimpy cubes of tuna either. It's big hefty chunks. Their sauces and marinades are always very yummy and full of flavor. Rice is always cooked perfect. I don't think I've ever had a terrible meal here. Nice big menu. Plenty of options to please any person. Totally customizable as well for even picky people or children. I will say this location gets huge rushes and fills up fast at peak hours or lunch or dinner. I don't love being around a ton of people ever since covid so be wary if you want to avoid a crowd maybe go at a slower time.
Keziah's customer service was on point! Very attentive and always smiling! Thank you for a great experience and delicious food!!
Amazing service from Kasey! She’s super friendly and welcoming. The food is very affordable, the place is clean, and the whole staff is really nice. Highly recommend!
Excellent and friendly staff!! I accidentally messed up my own order and ordered a dish with shrimp instead of steak. I admitted it was my fault, and they re-made the order with no issues. The food came out great and we all enjoyed it. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Great experience.

I have been to BENTO Winter Park on several occasions and I have never left disappointed. Between the delicious menu, and always friendly service, you’ll find yourself with more food than you can finish. Thankfully, there are handy dandy take out boxes near by the utensils. I had the curry steak over stir fry and it was fantastic! The ingredients are fresh, and everything was seasoned beautifully. The other person in my party had the chicken fried rice and was very, very happy. She couldn’t even eat half as the portions are large. I felt the value is definitely there and you won’t leave hungry!
Random radio station /music. I'm pretty sure I heard the Mario theme while eating. Food was good. I had a rice bowl, miso soup and an egg roll. $16 total. Egg roll was thin but filled well. Rice bowl with gochugang chicken was very tasty but could have used more veggies. Miso soup was delicious.
It has been a long time since I've stopped into Bento. I ordered the hot lava ($16.5), the mex ($9), and got it made into a combo for $4, which includes the pork egg roll and a cup for soda. The rolls were decent and not bursting in flavors. The topping for the hot lava had enough to spread a bit over the mex, so that added a small bit of taste. The pork egg roll was crisp and finished off my meal well. The server was friendly, and the rolls came out quickly.

Great eatery at the corner with some shaded/covered outdoor pet-friendly patio seating (though they will close it and stack the chairs if it rains). The best deal for portion and variety would be (as one might guess from the name) the bento trays, though the selection and options for the sides are relatively limited. Self-serve fountain drinks, and it's easy to pack up leftovers yourself with the boxes they have right next to the self-serve station, making this a great place to get in and out quickly for lunch. They have boba tea drink options, but no brewed tea. Good "fast casual" spot.
Not the first time the chicken overcooked and the batter looks a little off.
Perfect location, Amazing flavorful food 🍱and great prices! Unfortunately.........I didn’t have a great first experience with them. I visited this location with a party of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids & a 1 year old) I ordered 2 bowls of udon noodle soup (with ramen noodles instead of udon), garlic broccoli with chicken, kids boxes (chicken no sauce with lo mein) and a 4 piece veggie sushi roll. The food came out in a timely manner, except they claimed I only ordered 1 bowl of ramen. So they had to ring me up for another bowl of ramen and it came out to me quickly. Only they messed the order up and actually brung udon noodles (not ramen like I ordered.) finally 20 minutes later I get what I ordered except everyone else is done eating. And to make things worse, there was a caterpillar 🐛 in my food! Yes, they refunded me for the ramen, the cook said they order their veggies pre-washed and they wash them again when they get them and waiter apologized. Although I wasn’t able to eat what I wanted. I did taste each dish (before my caterpillar dish) and every thing was great! The others in my party raved that the food was good as well. This location was pretty clean, nice atmosphere, they due require masks and have hand sanitizer available at counter and at the utility station. (*heads up, Forks are in a dispenser*). There are booths, tables, and outside seating available.
Recently visited Bento. We had the Tex Mex Sushi and we added the noodles with Chicken. The prices are higher than back in the day for the food not to be that good but when you hungry anything taste good. We also had the dragon fruit lemonade, please save your 6$. It was not giving what it was supposed to give!
This is just like a fast food restaurant. Ordered chicken and steak Korean udon noodles there was very little chicken and steak for the price. Food was spicy good flavor just disappointed how little protein for the price.
Nothing really stood out to me. The Volcano sushi was different from all the other sushi places I've tried this. It's wasn't bad, but not great. Service was laced. Was hoping for better.

The food is amazing and it’s a nice place to sit down and eat in but anytime I’ve ever ordered something either isn’t added or just completely forgotten to be given to me. I would love to eat here more often but it’s best not to if I’m just going to get pissed off that the workers keep forgetting my food.
I don't normally go to Bento, but this occasion was for a family members birthday. We all ordered, and everything was fine. The food started coming out and one of the girls running food came to give my father in law his sushi roll, she called it out to the table saying "mex roll" my FIL raised his hand and said "I got the Mexican roll!" and she went to put the plate in his hand and said in a nasty tone, "IT'S CALLED MEX" and shoved it at him, thankfully he recovered it because it was about to fall from her hand to his. Then, she turned around and walked away. We all looked at each other in absolute disbelief. We weren't sure if we had all seen the same thing? Could it have been an accident? She did roll her eyes and didn't even apologize for shoving it and him nearly dropping it. It was bizarre and uncalled for to say the least. We had 14 people in our party- so we ordered a lot of food, but last time I checked, that was a positive thing for the business? The rice that was in the Teriyaki bowl was absolute mush, and the broccoli was terribly bitter. Inedible. We spent almost $40 between my husband and I, and it was horrendous. Also, the soda machine was not working correctly... We will never return to this location, not ever. Probably not any other Bento either. I'm truly disappointed.

I rarely leave reviews, but my recent experience at Bento Sushi was deeply disappointing. I visited with high expectations, eager to try their new offerings, but what I received was far from acceptable. The quality of the food was shockingly subpar — bland, poorly assembled, and lacking the freshness one would expect from any establishment serving sushi. It’s disheartening to see such a decline in standards, especially when customers place their trust (and money) in a brand that should prioritize consistency and quality. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously, because first impressions matter — and this one was a letdown.
