This is my go-to coffee spot. The mocha frappe from coffee bean just hits different. Soo yummy :)
This is our go-to for coffee. It is in the same shopping center as Sprouts and Ralph's, which is super convenient. I've been getting the cookie butter latte/frappe all winter, and it's really delicious. I just had the hazelnut lattee tonight, and that was really yummy as well. The almond croissant thing is very delicious also. Staff is friendly and the store is always clean :)
This is the Coffee Bean closest to my home. I’ve been coming here for years, even before their remodel and expansion. It’s always been staffed well with friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming people. I guess my only complaint is that these nice people eventually move on, but they are replaced by more great staff. Today I was helped by trainee Dayra, and she seems like she will be a great addition to the team. Today I thought to report to the community that nowadays I get 5-star service from Billy, and from Kaley. I love how they make me feel at home, and like how they are always happy to help. They remember my drink, and always prepare my Americano just right—never bitter. I love this location. Large dining room. Plenty of seating and parking. Clean restrooms, clean everything. As good as it gets. Long live Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf! Thanks team!
This is a second review. I want to supplement my first 5-star review with this second one. Billy. Billy is such an asset for the CBTL company. Billy is such a cool, welcoming, friendly and genuine person. And not cheesy at all. He genuinely carries himself calmly, admirably and maturely. Professionally. It’s always a pleasure when I stop by and I catch Bill working. He’s not only competent and helpful, but I appreciate how genuine and down to earth he is. Calm. Cool. His tattoos make him look like Billy Badass, but he Carrie’s himself like Billy Cool Guy. And Bill always serves up top notch Americanos. And he does it with pride and humility at the same time. The guy is a badass humble master. The other night, I was sweetening my Americano before I left, and I noticed Billy was being harassed by a solicitor speaking to him at the register as he was trying to take orders. I noticed the person was just being delusional, and they just didn’t seem to understand that they needed to just give up and leave. I thought about calling the cops, but it was all calm. Nothing got out of hand, no one raised their voice. The solicitor did get a bit agitated, but Billy remained cool as Iceland. I just didn’t like him having to deal with someone that just needed to stop asking for nonsense and order something or leave. At the end of the situation, the solicitor figured it out and left. Billy was unfazed. I even took a photo of him not flinching, ice cold. Talk about manager material. I love CBTL and I want CBTL to know we need to keep Billy for a long term company career role. 5 stars.

My favorite location is in la crascenta (ocean view). If I drink my cappuccino I get it from Coffee Bean , btw they have perfect collection of green and black tees as well!

I come often and as someone who appears on television because I am in the entertainment business I would be glad to tell the world you will be happy you stopped by.
I accidentally ordered the wrong drinks through the mobile app. When I went I picked it up and I had noticed and when I asked if I can get the new ones (I was going to pay again since it was my mistake), they instead fully compensated 100% of my drinks and gave me the right ones! Thank you! Friendly atmosphere, very clean, and great customer service! Will come again.
It's hard to give a bad rating to any Coffee Bean. Are drinks are delicious. Customer service is always polite and the stores are clean and comfortable.
Went there a couple days ago with my wife to get some tea. She couldn't remember which flavor so the Barista made two small Cups of Tea one peach one mango for us to try to see which one we liked. Then we ordered once we figured out which one we wanted. It was very nice of them to make us free samples.

Tried the new “Now You See Me” themed drinks and it was amazing. Their chocolate muffin is also really good and warm! Good place to sit and chill but I wouldn’t go here for studying if you’re bothered by blenders.

Unfortunately, If you want to sit inside for a coffee or tea or meet someone, this is one of the few (non-restaurant) coffee places on Ventura in Woodland Hills. The good - The coffee is better than Starbucks. They have very good cold brew. They have good alternative milks that are not pre-sweetened (I hate that Starbucks' milks are sugary) The not-so-good - It is always cold. It is always loud. The chairs are uncomfortable. So, wear a jacket, maybe bring a cushion and some earbuds if you want to work while you have a really good cold brew!
I love Coffee Bean but this place didn’t sanitize the tables when I was here. I asked for somebody to clean my station and an hour passed by, still, no one cleaned my table nor the other tables. That’s pretty gross. I still love the coffee but not sanitizing the tables is a bit concerning.
Horrible experience today. Lost 2 stars from former 5 star rating. Barista copped a major attitude over a simple dark roast & let her friend put her dirty shoes on the tables. Store needs remodeling... Tea is good and they are starting to improve their food offerings by recently adding yogurt. Patio seating is bad. Quite often there are homeless people smoking as they sit next to the "No Smoking" sign on the patio...
Could definitely be more friendly and caring. Informed someone there wasn't any soap or towels in the Men's room, and was told "no problem". It would have been nice to hear, sorry about that and we'll take care of it. The A/C was near constant and its in the low 60's outside. My hands are freezing.
The young lady who took my order refused to scan my rewards app. Instead she handed me a receipt and I was told I had to do it myself at the website when I had to app open on my phone right in front of her. If she's too lazy to do her job you might not want to keep her on your register.
Used to be my go to coffee shop but I may have to switch. Now takes two or three times as long to get my order. I see people come in after me and order at the register as I did but their drink is made first and I'm left waiting. Whatever happened to first come first served?

I'm getting really sick of being ignored and feeling like I don't matter at a place I've frequented for going on 10 years now. Today, I ordered my drink on my phone at 11:18 AM. The app tells me the expected time for pick-up is 11:28. I get to the location, and there are several people in line to ORDER drinks. I wait for my drinks to be ready and 11:28 goes by, which is fine, I understand places get busy, but they proceed to get Every. Single. Person. who was waiting in line their drinks, before making mine. It's now 10:35. I ask if my drinks are coming, am told that they are but they are just busy. I respond that the issue is not that they were busy, but that they served several people who ordered their drinks way after me, before I received my pre-order on the app. Another group soon came in and even they got their drinks before me -- ordering at least 15 minutes after I had. I got my drinks at 11:41. The time isn't the issue, them ignoring my order to serve other people is. This happens fairly frequently these days, but wasn't a problem a few years back. A lot of new hires seem to be kids who are, frankly, just not professional. What is the point of me ordering early if I am just going to be ignored, and I theoretically could have gotten my drink just as fast, if not faster, had I waited in line? There is no reason for it. To add insult to injury, a patron told me my "entitlement was embarassing." It's not entitlement, it's common courtesy.

Pretty much your typical Coffee Bean. However, there was one major problem. I went to use the bathroom which was pretty filthy and there was a constant beeping. It turns out the beeping was the hand soap dispenser because they were out of soap. I went to the counter to let them know and the barista informed me that the entire store was out of soap and they were waiting for corporate to send them some. There is a Ralph's within walking distance from the location. Why. not go to the store and buy bottles of hand soap until you get the order from corporate???!!! Here is the biggest question that it left me wondering. If the store is out of soap, how are the employees washing their hands after using the toilet? The thought completely grossed me out because I had already finished my coffee. I was doing a wedding in the area and planned to return the next day to this Coffee Bean to get some work done before the ceremony. Needless to say, I changed those plans and I will not be going back again.
I ordered a drink and mindlessly didn’t complete my checkout process so when I walked away, the cashier helped themselves to generous tip! That’s stealing and completely unacceptable. My review is not for the drinks, it’s for my customer service experience.
I so try to love this place, they have quality drinks most of the time. But, this location is exceedingly inconsistent. Even with the sign on the door, people constantly bring their dogs inside, no not service dogs. We are talking barking, jumping all over the place, pets.
This is probably the worst coffee I have ever had. Which is insane because it is supposed to be masked by sugar anyways. I got the cookie butter blended drink and it is so awful. I highly recommend avoiding it.
Ordered two drinks. One hot, one blended. Waited 4 minutes. The hot drink is made. Then, 15 minutes later, the blended drink is still not made. So I asked what happened and the woman pushed a drink towards me and goes “that’s it”. Yeah, it’s been 15 minutes and you said nothing about my order and it’s already melted. Not even an apology! Just glared at me and moved on. Won’t be coming back.
Came to this place for a coffee before work and there was only one employee and she seemed very stressed out as it was busy. I asked her for a cup of water also when she gets a chance and with an attitude she said I have to charge you for it which I was fine with but didn’t have time to go wait in line.
I ordered an egg and chorizo burrito but got a burrito with rice?? I didn’t realize until i started eating in my car. The coffee tasted like weed. I think maybe one of the baristas today, 2-23-26, 11:59 AM, was smoking or something? I’m not even sure. There was even a guy who exposed himself to me and a couple of other teenage girls. Very inappropriate and the workers don’t care.
The store does not go by the times listed. I visited this location 30minutes before they are listed to close and the doors were locked. The lights were on so I stood there for a couple minutes thinking that maybe they weren’t actually closed, but I didn’t see anyone come out. When I got back to my car, and began to pull out of the lot, I saw people come from the back kitchen and start doing things in the front. I get wanting to be out by a certain time, but this was not 10-15 minutes before closing, this was a whole half hour. If the hours are not correct they should be changed, that way people can go somewhere else.

Kailey the supervisor made me a regular hot vanilla latte. And didn’t taste like my usual. I drink a vanilla Latte everyday for the past year and I know exactly how it is supposed to taste. I asked her if it would be possible to make a new one. I was smiling at her and I was very happy. She rolled her eyes at me, made a stuffy sound and tossed the coffee in the sink with anger. She was very angry at me. A barista at coffee bean should not treat customers like this. I even tipped them every single day. She made it a second time and it was still horrible. She obviously doesn’t know how to make a simple vanilla latte. She needs a lesson on how to be nice to paying customers . I ended up leaving and getting a refund. I’ll never come back to this location. Horrible service by Kailey. I have never had a bad service like this and treated so badly by this young lady. Hire better help coffee bean!!
I had a really disappointing experience at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf today that could have been dangerous for me. I ordered a hot vanilla drink specifically because I’m allergic to caffeine. After waiting about 20 minutes, I was handed a drink directly by the barista—no label, no verification. Once I started drinking it, I realized it was coffee. Because of my allergy, I had to drive all the way back to the location, which was extremely inconvenient and stressful. When I returned, the shift supervisor was rude and unapologetic. The only options offered were a refund or a remake, with no acknowledgment of the mistake or the seriousness of giving someone a caffeinated drink when they did not order one. The entire setup behind the counter felt chaotic—no tags on drinks or food, people grabbing whatever was sitting out, and no guidance from staff. That lack of organization clearly contributed to this mistake. Mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability, concern, or basic customer care was unacceptable—especially given the allergy risk. This experience makes me very hesitant to return, and I hope management addresses both staff training and drink-handling procedures before someone gets seriously hurt.

I ordered a flat white, and when I finished drinking it, I discovered a napkin inside my coffee. I went to let the staff know, and they simply looked at it, tossed it out, and handed me a $5 voucher - which doesn't even cover the cost of the drink. No apology, no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the issue. Really disappointing experience and definitely not the level of care or hygiene I expect.
