Rincon de Pepe

Wow, what an exceptional Spanish tapas restaurant. The food is outstanding, the service is friendly and fast, the atmosphere is absolutely buzzing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I live in Brighton and went to Worthing specifically to try this restaurant that was recommended to me by a Spanish friend. I must say it exceeded our expectations and is now one of our favourites. There were 8 of us so we pretty much ordered the whole menu. We loved every single one of the dishes. Boquerones, Octopus, Prawns, tortilla, croquettes, beef stew, Manchego chicken, deep fried balls of black pudding…😉 We are a bunch of foodies from different countries and we are normally quite hard to please ( Italian-Spanish-Argentine and English) but we all agreed it was excellent and went back three times since. There isn’t a decent Spanish restaurant in Brighton so if you love Spanish food go and try it out. You will be chuffed you did!

This place is a little gem, food is amazing, not had Tapas before. We chose 4 dishes between the two of us, ample.

We ate here Sat 3rd Aug and had such a lovely evening! We're vegan and, honestly, the staff could not have been more kind or helpful! Including double checking with the chef. There are a good number of vegan options available and they explained how many tapas to order (glad they did as we would have ordered far more than we could eat!). But oh the food!!! To start we had the bread with Balsamic vinegar and oil...plus olives, then 4 tapas dishes, all of which were delicious but the Patatas Bravas and especially the mushrooms have to get a special mention! We were full but decided to share some churros (they are vegan if sugar coated and without the chocolate dip)...and are so glad we did as they were simply divine!!!! (I have had major cravings since!) We were planning to head back tonight as we want to try their paella (and more mushrooms and churros) but time ran away from us so will have to be patient and go next week sometime. But would definiitely recommend Rincon de Pepe for the food, service and atmosphere...can't wait to go back!!!

Amazing. Family live locally and we decided to go whilst visiting the area. Cannot wait to go back. Very authentic Spanish cuisine cooked by the sweetest Spanish lady. Everything was beautiful and we couldn't fault a single thing. I personally really loved the veal cheeks. So unctuous. My partners favourite dish was the aubergine with walnuts and honey. A true 10/10.

I came here for my birthday many years ago and I still remember how lovely all the staff were, and I got free cake! I came back recently and it was still just as amazing as before. The food is so good and delicious, and it comes really quickly too. The staff are really friendly. I strongly recommend this place :)

Lovely friendly welcome. Don’t let the outside fool you. Once seated we had exceptional service, options were clearly explained. We went for give tapas between two of us. Food served piping hot, good portions and we were stuffed at the end. However, we still managed to squeeze in a desert. Seriously impressive. We will be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Fantastic authentic tapas and a nice hidden gem of a restaurant in west Worthing. I've eaten here a many times and always impressed with the food and excellent host. The restaurant has also recently extended into garden - just in time for summer! Most importantly - a member of our party had an allergy and the host was absolutely fantastic helping us to choose appropriate dishes from the menu. Since it's tapas, you're expected to share and they went above and beyond to make sure that we had a fantastic meal without needing to worry about cross-contamination / allergies. I really can't recommend this place enough!!

A little bit of Spain here in Tarring. Wonderful selection of tasty traditional Spanish fayre and ample portions. Lovely helpful owners and servers made us very welcome for a large birthday celebration group. They provided prompt attentive service. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening there for our son's special occasion and we could easily have been tucked away in a little corner somewhere in Spain 🇪🇸!

This really is a beautiful tapas place that we discovered in worthing just in the last few days. Absolutely gorgeous food and lovely authentic Spanish staff through and through. We had such a lovely evening. The staff also showed us round a garden area they have which is stunning and enclosed with lovely lights. I cannot believe we have been so lucky to find this place and I know as we love Spain, their food and they have such a great atmosphere in their restaurant we will definitely be returning! Absolutely love this little restaurant. The food is amazing and the owners who run the front of house are such a lovely couple and could not be more welcoming. We felt valued and at home whilst having the privacy to enjoy our meal. Look forward to returning soon!

Rincón de Pepe is a true slice of Spain in the heart of Worthing: an extraordinary experience in every way. The food was simply outstanding — every dish we tried was made with care, incredibly fresh ingredients, and an explosion of authentic flavors. The paella, in particular, was divine — probably the best I've ever had outside of Spain. Rich, aromatic, with perfectly cooked rice and top-quality ingredients: every bite was a journey to the Mediterranean. The welcome we received was so warm and genuine that we immediately felt at home, greeted by wonderful people who clearly put their heart and passion into everything they do. The service was flawless: attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and familiar, with an authentic touch that makes you forget you’re still in England. I highly recommend Rincón de Pepe to anyone wanting to experience real Spanish flavors and sincere hospitality. I can’t wait to go back!

Discovered this place last night. Food amazing, staff amazing, atmosphere amazing. It was my sons birthday and the staff made a lovely effort for him. Highly recommend.

We visited early Saturday evening. We had booked a table online and as we had not been before we did not know what to expect. When we arrived the restaurant looked quite small. However, we were greeted and led through to a back room (with a wood burner) that had a further 20 or 30 seats. We shared a lovely paella and will be returning when the opportunity arises. A hidden gem.

The host was extremely friendly. The way to order was wonderful, no struggling in bad spanish (although i am sure it would be welcome) Our meal was really tasty and extremely large portions. My calamari and prawn dish seemed never ending ☺️ We were happily very full. It was an extremely enjoyable night. Please don't judge because you can't park infront but there is parking on the side roads very nearby, definitely worth going in for a sit down meal. Again the host was lovely

Been meaning to return for years big mistake should have come back sooner. Somehow it as improved with age. Lovely staff more seating and food very fresh and full of flavours at a good price.

Wow, the food is so amazing, thank you so much, the service we were made to feel very welcome, took us right back to our holiday 2 months ago so we went home having severe withdrawal symptoms missing our favourite island fuerteventura and Spanish cuisine, knowing we have another 3 months before we return to canaries. We will definitely putting this restaurant to our top 5 list of best. Highly recommend, we had mixed paella as our main, next month we will do the tapas

New favourite! Our first date (pesky kids needing baby-sat...) in God knows how long and it was a beautiful atmosphere (the decor is homely and traditional- then added with great music and friendly service) the host was so kind. Food was amazing and very generous tapas portions. On reflection it's a restaurant we could bring even the pickiest of our little ones to. Brilliant value for money, very traditional and the ordering system is so clever. You get these little tick lists essentially of what you want to order thus avoiding any embarrassment at our poor pronunciation of their wonderful dishes. Would recommend to anyone, fabulous hidden gem xx

Highly recommended! When I decide that I want to return to eat to a certain place, I take into consideration not just the food quality and taste, its important how the host and the staff makes you feel, the ambience, the mood, and El Rincon de Pepe offers just what I like along with sabory dishes, treat yourself with the chorizo with wine reduction. You will not regret it! 😄

Intimate, friendly, delicious tapas...food sharing is the ideal way to eat!. So many choices but the Carrilada de carne al vino tinto really should be tried. Booking advised. Would happily return.

This is a wonderful little restaurant within walking distance of West Worthing station. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly and there is a large and varied choice of dishes on the menu within a price range to suit all. We chose a variety of tapas to share, all of which were delicious. We will be back to eat here again soon.

Visited here for a family birthday! A few people in the group hadn't had tapas before but the menus were really helpful demonstrating the idea. The servers were really helpful, nice and friendly. The food was really good, no complaints there. Would recommend and come back to again!

Food is good value for the money but ours was served on cold plates which is a no no for me

It was an early Monday evening, so quite quiet. However, the food was tasty and hot and arrived in good time. Very enjoyable and excellent quality and quantity.

The food was good with plenty of options for gluten free, I enjoyed the tapas and red wine we had. But service was slow and food came out at different times. Overall it was an ok meal which was value for money.

Service 10/10 but food was awful. Very bland and actually over salted. Prawns in garlic had no taste and we weren’t sure if it was raw or not. Ham cheese croquettes tasted and looked like they had been bought out of Iceland, super fry texture inside. Bread was fresh and cannot fault. Accompanying tomato sauce had zero flavour. It is sad to write this about the food because the service was great.
