Delicious coffee. They sell you bags of ground coffee or whole beans. This place is NOT a coffee shop. I was recommended the caracolillo, and it's delicious. You have to specify how you make your coffee so they can grind the beans according to the type of machine you use. NOTE: They only accept cash! And you usually have to wait in line. Although it's not a coffee shop, you can buy a small cup of coffee to go. They don't have a place to sit and there's no bathroom.

El bufet de desayuno es bueno aun que no es muy variado, el costo es adecuado para lo que ofrecen y el lugar es bonito, solo le falta mantenimiento en los baños.

El ambiente es muy padre, van actualizando su música y eventos... el mesero qué nos tocó muy joven pero muy atento, muy atento en todo momento. La comida es rica, si tiene sabor! Un poco más cara que el promedio pero creo que es por la atmósfera y el servicio. Creo que si lo vale todo.

El servicio y la atención es buena👌 lo recomiendo por esa razón, la comida en el sabor siento que me quedo un poco a deber.

This establishment is considered one of the most traditional and popular coffee shops in Xalapa, a favorite among local families. If you're visiting, it's highly recommended to pick up some coffee from this shop; it's one of those products that's hard to find outside of Xalapa.

El servicio y los desayunos y comidas están cumplidores sin ser sobresalientes. No sé porqué, pero las veces que hemos ido siempre los meseros poco atentos y malhumorados. Fuimos a la hora casi exacta en donde hacen el cambio de buffet de desayuno a comida y el mesero grosero casi apurándonos a servirnos el desayuno, jamás dijo que teníamos derecho a picaditas o tortillas, si no es por la señora que estaba haciendo tortillas y a la que le preguntamos el mesero ni en cuenta. Cero amable, apurado, no colaborativo. Actualización 2024 La chica que nos atendió fue muy amable y me encantó el pescado a la diabla, pica, pero está delicioso 😋 Actualización febrero 2024 El desayuno bufete sin calidad, el pan duro, los frijoles olían a quemado, había un guiso y la carne tenía mucho pellejo😵‍💫. Lo único aceptable: jugó, café, fruta. La comida bufete malísima. En ocasiones pedimos a la carta y en esos platillos sí se esmeran, yo he pedido pescado a la diabla y muy rico. Ojalá que a los buffet también le pusieran atención, ahhh y la señora que despacha el bufete cero sonriente, parece celadora🤦

The coffee is very good, but the service is terrible, especially for tourists. There's no credit card payment option and no signage to warn you of this, and some of the staff are overbearing and ill-tempered, and if you're distracted, they give you the wrong change. The location makes it difficult to buy by car, as there's no parking at the establishment, and the street is very narrow and busy.

El buffet que ofrece es de mala calidad, fruta refrigerada, granola chiclosa, los chilaquiles sabían a grasa de los totopos, lo aceptable fue los huevos revueltos que se terminaron rápido y una ensalada porque el café estaba muy ácido! No regresaría.

La comida es de baja calidad, los platillos con sabor pobre. El precio esta muy por encima de lo que ofrecen. El café irrelevante. No lo recomiendo ni creo volver. Lo que rescato la visita al lugar fue la compañía que obviamente no tiene nada que ver con el restaurante.

The products are highly recommended, and the coffee is very good. However, the service leaves much to be desired. They seem annoyed or anxious, waiting for you to order quickly, even if there are no other customers. They aren't friendly and respond curtly if you ask about the products. If there's a line to buy something, you should ask who's last because people tend to cut in. The coffee, though, is definitely worth it.

I'm trying to place an order for Mexico City, and the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude. They didn't help me with the order, and then said, "I'm really busy, okay?" and hung up on me. They don't answer WhatsApp messages, and when I called their offices, they were just as rude. It's such a shame, because it's my favorite coffee shop.

Excellent coffee, but they don't accept cards of any kind. The employees treat you like a beggar and get angry if you ask for a receipt or ask about card payments. Same problem at both branches. They'll continue to lose customers.

Terrible experiencia. Éste restaurante por lo regular tiene opción de buffette, quiero creer que por lo mismo no tiene contemplado los alimentos de la carta. Se me ocurrió pedir un par de platillos de la carta y que decepción, una sopa azteca que sabía a Knorr suiza, y unas enchiladas poblanas que lo último que tenían, era chile poblano, tan sólo una mezcla de chile y cebolla. Terrible sazón y precios muy elevados. Eviten este lugar.

The coffee is delicious, that's undeniable. The problem is the staff. They don't accept card payments, they don't offer bank transfers, and they give you a hard time when you point out that it's unacceptable that they don't offer other options. Their response is that they're a small business, which is far from the truth. As foreigners, we leave with a bad impression because of the service.
