Un lugar excelente, el café es bueno, la comida es una delicia, hecha nada más y nada menos que por una gran cocinera. ¡Muy recomendable la comida!
As always, having breakfast with my family at Moretto. Unparalleled service, delicious food. Thank you for pampering us. Congratulations to the team. Continue your journey towards excellence. 😃
A quiet and pleasant spot amidst the hustle and bustle of the city center. The food is good, but the dessert selection isn't huge (I don't highly recommend the cookies). I love their coffee. The staff is attentive and friendly, but it's best not to be in a hurry. I keep coming back year after year.
The service is excellent; our young waiter was very attentive the entire time. The place is lovely; I recommend the second floor. The food is delicious, although on our last visit it wasn't as well-seasoned as on other occasions.
Lovely food, fast and friendly service. Economical menu.
I honestly lived in Xalapa for a long time and never had the chance to visit, but after a long time, I finally found this café. I highly recommend the food and, of course, the coffee. The prices are very reasonable, in my opinion. The second floor is very peaceful and quiet, with a decor that feels like home (I loved the dishes). The staff is always very attentive, and I would definitely go back for breakfast at Moretto.
It's an oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city center. Excellent service, Wi-Fi, very clean restrooms, pleasant atmosphere, varied menu, and fair prices. The upstairs section is quieter; you can forget you're in the city center. The music is never too loud. Highly recommended for a break, a place to read, or a snack.
A very nice café. Cozy, it allows you to have a pleasant time, whether alone or having a quiet conversation. Beautiful decor and the coffee is simply divine.
A great place to have a delicious coffee, one of the best I've ever had. They have excellent baristas. They also have excellent breakfast packages at a great price and great flavor, worth it. Their frappes are delicious, highly recommended. The Oreo and marzipan are my favorites.
The coffee here is very good; it's sold in quarter, half, and kilo portions. The place itself is just okay; it doesn't make you want to eat there.
El Lechero is good again, but still not as good as it was before the change in staff. We'll have to try the tostadas and cheese and mushroom dobladas to see if they've improved or if those two dishes still fall short of the delicacies they prepared before the change.
Centrally located, clean, and quiet. The crepes were delicious. But they gave me a frappé that clearly wasn't; it was super runny. I asked for it to be replaced, and it was slightly better, but not with the consistency of a frappé. Average service.
Their coffee is delicious. It's from the Coatepec region. They have three varieties: Gourmet, Decaffeinated, and Specialty. Any option is excellent. Their coffee service is good, though not spectacular, given the small space, but very clean and hygienic. Their desserts, although not homemade, are delicious; it's worth treating yourself by paying per slice, as they don't sell whole pieces. For example, the excellent slice of lemon bread costs $55. Small but pleasant.
I ordered a package of enmoladas, and despite the fast and friendly service, the food left something to be desired. The mole was somewhat watery, more orange in color, and tasted slightly sour, as if Tajín chile had been added. The chicken was chewy and tasted odd, and I got several pieces of that thick skin that the chicken breast has in the middle.
The place is small and has a few tables downstairs; when I went, the upstairs was closed. The food is quite good and the coffee is excellent. If you order a refill, it costs money. They also sell coffee by the kilo in different grinds. There's no parking, so it's best to walk there. The place has a nice atmosphere, but it doesn't have air conditioning.
It's a shame, the coffee is delicious and high quality, BUT THE SERVICE... leaves much to be desired. As good as the coffee is, I won't be returning because there are plenty of good coffee shops in Xalapa. The service was bad; the woman there couldn't give clear explanations of the menu, and when I ordered an Iced Coffee, they brought me a coffee with liqueur and a scoop of snow on top...????? Iced Coffee??? INFILTED COFFEE... isn't that complicated, is it??? And she didn't offer to change it; she implied there was no other option. It's the first time in my life I've been to a coffee shop in Xalapa, and neither the waitress nor the barista had a clue what they were doing. Another thing: we ordered some Vietnamese coffees, and it was chaos, total disarray. They brought mine already poured into a regular cup, and my girlfriend got hers in a tiny espresso cup. Obviously, because of the Vietnamese brewing process, the coffee spilled. They just transferred it to another cup and threw away the rest; they didn't even give it to us. I mean, I paid for two Vietnamese coffees, and they only half-heartedly did one.
