My friend and I had dinner at Habbibi Manchester yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. The staff, the food, the welcoming atmosphere, the music, everything was perfect. We arrived a few minutes late but the staff were incredibly accommodating. Our waiter, Shimmy, was so nice and genuinely hilarious. He made the whole experience so much fun and really lit up the room. The restaurant’s aesthetic was beautiful as well, which added to the vibe. Overall, we had an amazing time and I’d definitely recommend Habbibi to anyone.

I have been eating here regularly since the end of 2024, but since the menu changed, it is not as good as before, especially the rib-eye, It lacks the smoky flavor it once had and is often overcooked after the menu changing, Some dishes that used to be good like sea bass or mushrooms on bread, many good dishes have been removed. The newly added padron peppers taste different every time I order them. Sometimes they have sauce, sometimes not. I think it would be better no sauce. And ribeye, the quality of meat varies greatly, sometimes it is very good, sometimes it is not that good.(most of the time is good though) There are also mushroom sauce and chimichurri sauce. I personally don’t like the taste of black truffle in mushroom sauce. The mushroom sauce before was good enough. The chimichurri sauce today may have too much lemon or vinegar?(I’m not sure) which is a little different from usual. I think the previous one tasted better, and there has a little bit smoky taste in chimichurri before. From my personal point of view, if a restaurant wants to retain long-term diners, it needs to maintain consistency. Only by innovating on the basis of consistency can it attract more customers. But in general, this is a great restaurant where you can taste the food culture of different regions from the taste of the food. This is the first time I have experienced the team's goal in formulating the menu to allow guests to experience different regional cultures.

We visited last month with the first table 50% off deal. We tried a few different dishes and each one was delicious. We had the Muhammad with haloumi, oadron peppers, octopus with roast potatoes, bread and flat iron steak. Every thing was delicious, service was attentive, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

It was my first time at Habibi and it was wonderful, the atmosphere is beautiful, food delicious 😋 we had bang bang chicken and wow 🤩 so looking forward to our event there launching a new brand and big shout out to lovely Tegan who has enabled everything to be handled smoothly and we feel so lucky to be bringing our guests to enjoy HABIBBI 🙏🏻❤️

Definitely five stars from me! The customer service was wonderful right from the reception, and our waiter Alex was so professional yet warm and attentive. The ambience had such a welcoming vibe, and the meals came right on time and tasted absolutely delicious.

Would definitely recommend: when we arrived they had a live DJ as well as a magician going around. The service was warm and efficient which was helpful however when it got busier it did slow down, which is expected. The food that I ordered was lovely however my friends weren’t as keen on their meals so I guess it just depends on what you order. For the drink I ordered a mocktail which was okay but didn’t really taste of much Alex gave us the best service through out the night. Couldn’t have asked for a better waiter. Made the whole experience enjoyable ☺️☺️

Popped into Habbibi on a Friday at 6pm without a booking and got a table straight away. The place is spotlessly clean and has a really nice, modern vibe. We ordered a few different starters to share, and everything was delicious. Fresh, full of flavour, and a great introduction to their menu. A top spot for a tasty meal in Manchester!

Order the Lobster Ravioli, you will thank me. Like what a master piece. I've been to Habbibi only twice, first time was a Sunday and me and my friend both ordered the Habbibi roast, and we enjoyed it. Second time was date night, and everything from starters to desert was delicious, however, it was the Lobster Ravioli that blew my mind, it was absolutely divine. Ambience and service - top level.

I and my partner had a fantastic experience at the restaurant, made even better by the exceptional service from Alex. From the moment we arrived, Alex was incredibly welcoming, gentle in manner, and radiated a vibrant energy that made us feel right at home. He was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal with genuine warmth and professionalism. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were spot-on. It’s rare to find service that feels both effortless and sincere, but Alex truly delivered. He added a personal touch that elevated our entire dining experience. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved my experience at Habibi Manchester. I was hesitant at first because I wear a veil due to religious reasons however our server Lia was absolutely amazing. She ensured to provide us with the privacy and dignity needed by giving us a secluded area to eat which was so thoughtful of her. She made us feel so welcomed and always made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Habibi Manchester the food was really good along with presentation. I look forward to returning here as it is definitely worth going back to.

Went to Habibi for the first time for dinner and was throughly impressed. The staff were attentive from the entrance to waiter who recommended some great dishes. The aesthetics were beautiful and the finishing touch of the live singer whose vocals were amazing. Will be returning again!

Loved my visit , great atmosphere and lovely vibes. Huge shoutout to the host Leah who was attentive throughout our visit it’s clear she cares about the customers which is rare. Loved the entertainment. Drinks service was a little slow but nothing too interrupting. Had the chicken thighs and came out well presented and very filling. Will come again

Habbibi Manchester is a really great spot. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful especially the lady in white and the small manager in a suit. The food is tasty and full of flavour the starters are great for sharing, and the mains don’t disappoint. The habbibi martini was AMAZING mocktail

Had a great time at Habbibi Restaurant. The food was really tasty and came out fresh, and the overall vibe of the place was super welcoming. It’s a nice spot to sit back and enjoy a proper meal. Big thanks to our waiter Ian Lee who was amazing throughout. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were looked after without hovering. He had a great attitude and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. Definitely coming back and would 100 percent recommend Habbibi.

Was my friends birthday and we was late for our booking. One lady said our table was cancelled as we exceeded 15 minutes. We were all so upset but Leah helped us and said she had moved things around which made our night and my birthday was not ruined anymore thanks so much Leah. She also kept checking on us throughout the night which was kind. The food was amazing and the vibes were there! Dancers and entertainment round our table and the dj got so good at about 9pm will come back deffo

Beautiful halal aesthetic place for a dinner. Enjoyed the food and only thing is the quantity of food as one dish is not really for one person tbh they should have add more bits especially when serve the meal should serve separate gravy or sauces. Secondly they have bar serve alcohol just was in a doubt at first with cross contact of alcohol but they assured that everything is halal and no cross contamination with food. Otherwise overall good experience. Enjoyed it x

Having heard good things from a friend and seeing this place on First Table, I decided to give it a go. I wasn’t aware they also did shisha, but thankfully this takes place away from the dining area. I opted for the Pappardelle Beef Ragu: it looks like a small serving in my pic, but there was a decent amount of beef (though I was glad I got a Mixed Veg side, too). The Dubai chocolate cake made for a decadent pistachio-filled finisher. Overall, worth it with the discount.

Food was good especially the stakes as we ordered few of them, the dynamite prawns was very delicious but for the Appetizers, in my personal opinion the Hummus and Muhamara didn’t taste like one. For the staff, the waiter who served us was Norhan, she was very helpful and smiling all the time, give you positive energy. The Atmosphere was very nice but we couldn’t hear each other because of the loud music.

I had a really good experience at Habbibi in Manchester. The food was excellent, rich in flavour and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried tasted fresh and well balanced. The atmosphere was lively without feeling chaotic, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit feel relaxed. The only thing that held it back from being a full five stars was the portion sizes. Everything tasted great, but the plates were smaller than I expected for the price. Even so, the quality of the food and the overall vibe still made it a solid visit. I’d definitely go again, just hoping for slightly bigger portions next time.

Really aesthetic place with a beautiful interior, perfect for a dinner night✨The vibe is cozy and relaxing. Customer service was great and the food was good, definitely try the lychee mocktail, it was amazing. Shisha was nice too. Very cozy place overall.

Was a pleasant experience. Vibes were nice and decor was beautiful like a Middle Eastern modern cave or beach. Staff were lovely and polite. The food was tasty however for the prices the portions were definitely too small. I ordered a chicken kabsa and it was only 2 small chicken thighs with a tiny portion of rice. Was definitely still hungry after. Looking at about 50pp for starters, mains, sides and drinks.

My friend and I came here for dinner yesterday, and everything was absolutely spectacular! 🌟 We were served by Nourhan, who was so lovely and welcoming and she really made our experience even better. We ordered the Chicken Kabsa, Jumbo Prawns, and Truffle Fries for dinner, along with the Habibi Martini and the Lychee & Raspberry Smash for drinks. Every dish and cocktail was bursting with flavour and everything tasted incredible! Highly recommend this place for great food, amazing service, and a warm atmosphere. (Plus the food is all halal!)

10/10 for food, each dish was absolutely outstanding, the Lean cut Steak was the star of the show, Great Ambience and atmosphere, really enjoyed the food and the decor, Service could've been slightly better, wait time for table.

My husband and i reserved a table at habibi restaurant hence we did not need to wait for a table, we arrived 10 minutes late which was fine , if you will be later than 10 minutes you must call the restaurant and give them a heads up. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing , we enjoyed the aesthetic of the place and the music that was playing in the background. The restaurant is halal and has a good drinks selection including mocktails, cocktails, wines , juices , fizzy , teas/ coffees. The prices vary depending on what you get , the meat dishes are more pricey but most still very affordable. I ordered the octopus with roasted potatoes , it was decent , the octopus was quite elastic/ chewy, i’ve only had octopus once before and i don’t remember it being as chewy as it was but still decent , i was surprised that there were only three roasted potatoes that came with the dish , on its own the dish probably wouldn’t have filled me up. My husband on the other hand got the slow braised lamb shank which was very tasty and soft , the meat fell right off the bone and came drenched in sauce which was very delicious, it was served with cheesy mashed potato which was also very nice, the portion size was very good and filling. We also got the asian sweet and spicy wings to share which had a good amount of meat on them , really enjoyed those. I ordered myself a side of cheesy mashed potatoes as well as my roasted potatoes weren’t enough. For drinks my husband and i got the queen of emerald mocktail to share which was amazing , you can really taste the kiwi and the melon in the drink which was quite refreshing but also sweet , it was also very aesthetically pleasing as there was pretty glitter inside and was topped off with a flower. If you want to take pictures, there were really nice mirrors hung up near the toilets as well as a swing at the entry of the restaurants, however the lighting at the swing wasn’t the greatest. The pictures attached to the review are screenshots taken from the videos i took so may not be the best quality

Honest review - visited a few months back - staff were attentive. Atmosphere was great. Starters - mushroom mezze, dynamite prawns and chicken bang bang and houmous. Brilliant starters. Mains - Sumac roasted chicken - great taste. Portion size was decent. Definitely need a starter to feel satisfied with this particular dish’s portion. Desserts were disappointing, purely because the dessert we intended to order was out of stock. And they had very basic cheesecake. Would rate it at 3 stars due to disappointment in dessert but the starters make up for it. Clean cutlery, clean tables, everything seemed sanitary.

I came here to treat my bestfriend for her birthday and I must say the service is so good! One of the staff members generously gave a birthday dessert with a sparkler for my friend - I found that so sweet as it wasn’t even asked for and we didn’t pay for either! The food was pretty decent however it didn’t have much flavour or spice, although the drinks were really nice! I’d say for what we paid for it wasn’t the best but overall it was a good experience! The decor was stunning too!

Beautiful as always, always go to the habbibi in Leeds this was my first time at the Manchester branch. The server who did our shisha was amazing and made sure we were good. The cocktails were good, shisha was great and the desserts were yummy! Couldn’t try the food due to it being valentines weekend and menu was only for dining indoors but overall amazing will be back!

We had a pleasant experience at Habibi. We visited on a Sunday night when the restaurant was fairly quiet and were seated straight away with friendly customer service. The food arrived promptly and was overall very tasty. The lamb cutlets, however, had a bit too much fat for our liking. One downside was the service charge added to the bill, which felt unnecessary given the circumstances. Additionally, there was a pricing discrepancy — the bao buns were listed at £10 both online and on the menu, but we were charged £11 (as shown in the attached pictures). Overall, I would have rated this a solid four stars, but due to the pricing error, I’m giving it three stars. Cash also was not accepted

Generally, a good experience - we ordered the bang bang chicken for starters ( which was real tasty). However, the lamb cutlets we ordered for the main, didn’t really have much going on with it. No real flavour to it and not worth the price tag. Abit of seasoning to the lamb would have been nice. Staff were real friendly.

As you walk towards habibbi you notice the lit front where a flame burns which gives you an inviting warmth be nice to have both on. Front of staff are so welcoming and friendly, entering the place did have to wait as the lady was not there it would be nice to have something to bring to the attention of staff that customers have arrived. Seated in a beautiful booth overlooking the restaurant such a classy look, everything was clean and crisp. Given the menus and time to select what we wanted to eat. It would be nice if the server interacted with us to let us know what selection there is on the menu. We didn’t have much interaction with the server and it would be nice to be shown to different areas of places. We wanted to go to the terrace(side outdoor seating) told twice as we asked about where, wanted to do Shisha and have our hot drinks and deserts on the terrace, given directions instead of taken. Little things that makes the service charge worth paying as it’s about 12%. We ordered a lamb and chicken main. Portions were small especially the chicken option and lacked a kick. Lamb needs some option of gravy or something as although it fell off the bone, needed some gravy to bring it to life. We did find ourselves hungry after, honestly speaking. Food definitely needs some innovation and brings a sizzle to it, as it lacked that edge or kick that calls you back. I think because we were hungry the deserts also felt small. Deserts were delicious and cannot fault it honestly. Server did forget my hot drink so had to prompt if he put it through. Again had to ask for some sugars. Server did ensure he recommended shisha flavours and asked if everything was good. Overall lovely evening hope above can be taken into account to improve further the lovely place and staff it is and hope to see it through the reviews.

Beautiful venue with great service, but overpriced for what you get I celebrated my birthday at Habbibi with my sister and friends. The interior design is absolutely beautiful — very aesthetic and perfect for special occasions. The service was also lovely. The staff were kind, attentive, and respectful throughout the night. I brought my own cake and asked not to have a big celebration, and they kindly just served it for us without making a fuss, which I really appreciated. Food-wise, the steak was amazing — cooked to absolute perfection. However, the rest of the food was decent at best. We tried the bang bang prawns and hot honey-glazed wings, but the portions were very small for the price. Overall, I’d say the menu is quite overpriced considering the taste and portion sizes. One major point to flag: I have a nut allergy, and when I mentioned it, the staff told me that while they could remove visible nuts from dishes, the kitchen does not guarantee anything is nut-free due to cross-contamination. For example, I ordered the capsah rice, which contains cashews, and they simply removed the cashews — but obviously, for anyone with a severe allergy, that’s not safe. Thankfully mine is mild and cross-contamination doesn’t affect me, but I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone with a serious nut allergy. Overall, it was a nice experience in terms of vibe and staff, but the food wasn’t wow, and for the high price, I personally wouldn’t return.

Habibi’s has always been my go-to spot in Manchester – a lovely place with great vibes, and usually very reliable. I was happy to see that they’ve updated the menu, which is a nice touch. This time though, the experience wasn’t quite up to the usual standard. We arrived around 9:20pm and ordered quickly since the kitchen was closing in about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the chicken dishes we ordered didn’t taste or smell quite right. On top of that, our steak arrived with the starters. Normally that would have been frustrating, but given the kitchen was closing soon, I just accepted it. The new pasta dish on the menu was really nice, but sadly we couldn’t take it away, which was a bit disappointing as we didn’t get to enjoy it properly. Overall, I’d still recommend Habibi’s, and I’ll definitely be back, but this visit just wasn’t as good as usual.

Stunning venue and vibes but small portions and poor service. We ordered the flat iron steak, lamb shank and chicken kabsa. Nothing special. The tapas on the other hand were tasty. Would go again but order something else. Waiting staff got our order wrong a few times and were very quick to keep clearing the table before we were even finished. Music and venue was very nice however and magician was a nice touch

I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The rib eye was not good at all ...completely overcooked and lacking flavor. What made things worse was the overall attitude of the staff. It honestly felt like they cared more about how much we were going to spend than about us having a good experience. When we arrived, we weren’t happy with our table and politely asked if we could move. Instead of even checking, we were told immediately, “We can’t move you at all, we’re back to back.” At the very least, they could have said, “Let me check what we can do,” just to make us feel like they were trying. That little bit of effort would have gone a long way. Overall, the service felt dismissive, and the food didn’t make up for it. Definitely not the experience I hoped for.

L
Lisa D

My partner and I were extremely disappointed by the service we received, particularly from the restaurant manager. From the outset, the experience felt uncomfortable and poorly handled. When we asked to be reseated, we were initially told the restaurant was fully booked. However, after asking again moments later, a booth suddenly became available. There were also several other empty tables throughout the restaurant. This inconsistency was confusing and unnecessary. When placing our order, the manager’s manner was unfriendly and dismissive. He spoke to us in a condescending tone and even walked away mid-order to check the availability of an item we hadn’t mentioned or intended to order. At no point were we anything but polite and respectful, yet we did not feel treated the same way in return. The food also failed to justify the price. The £120 platter (pictured) was underwhelming and not worth either the cost or the long wait. The truffle mac and cheese was dry and lacked flavour, with very little cheesiness. Unfortunately, we could not help but notice a clear difference in how my partner and I (along with other black customers) were treated compared to white patrons, who appeared to receive warmer and more attentive service. This left us feeling uncomfortable, unwelcome, and disappointed. Overall, the combination of poor service, substandard food, and the way we were treated means we would not return or recommend this restaurant.

Rebecca Bai

it’s our second time here and we were so disappointed with the food and service.WORST experience ever!!!!!! 1.we ordered the octopus tapas and they didn’t serve it to us at all!!!(they didn’t remind us & we still paid for it without awareness ) 2.the bang bang chicken was tiny portion-just fried flour which is the worst fried chicken I’ve ever had 3.we waited 50mins for our mains meanwhile other table all got the food sooner than us:)

Extremely disappointed and disgusted by the service of the staff. I ordered shisha and waited 45minutes for it to arrive. The shisha section was less than half amount of people so it’s not that they were busy. We ordered Karak chai, they brought it without sugar and asked if sugar was needed. We asked for the sugar and they bring the sugar with no spoon. The tea was tasting like water and milk mixed. We ordered a tiramisu which took one and half hour to come. (Yet look at the status of the tiramisu) Unbelievable for such premium prices.

Service was not respectful They started removing dishes while we were still eating. Food taste was average comparing to price. Meal portion very little. Steak wasnt upon request.
