Amazing food at great price. Always fresh and super fast. No matter how busy it seems you'll always find space to sit and eat. I always get the Combination Plate over Rice and I've even tried the Kefta Combo. Perfect balance of everything. Parking is limited but always absolutely worth the visit.

They have one of the best gyros in town but it takes a long time to prepare your food even if u order online. This last time, the dolme was not fresh either

My shawarma wraps were loaded with meat and veggies. They were well worth the price. The beef was way better than the chicken. The chicken was bland, but still good. Overall this is a great restaurant.

I got the beef kabob and it was well seasoned!! The plate might be pricey but it is good so you get your money’s worth!! The baklava is mid, i’ve had better. Parking is tight, they only have a few spots at the front, so good luck!!

Whenever we visit Austin, we try to have at least one meal here. Till now we have tried Gyro Over rice, Chicken Over rice, Combination Over Rice, Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Falafel, Hummus and French Fries. Everything is absolutely delicious. They have seating arrangements both inside and outside. Only problem is the parking lot is really small (only 3 car can be parked there). Even if you can park here, it is really hard to drive out from the restaurant. Last time we parked at the In-N-Out Burger adjacent to the restaurant. Don't know if it is safe or not to park there.

The loaded fries here are the best I've ever had! I am not even a fries person but I can't help eating the fries here. Other food items I've tried are okay, beef kabob wasn't that great. Fries alone are good enough for a trip here. There is very little parking, I think only three spots. As you drive in be careful of the little curb section that sticks up between two rather narrow ramps. #halal

We have been going to Halal bros for the last 10 years or so. It was a cart first. We loved their food. We love their service. So well behaved and patience. Lamb over rice was my fav during my pregnancy. We tried the gyro over rice and the wrap too. Everything is so yummy. Gyro is made fresh in the store. The store is clean and well maintained. Food comes within 7-10 min. Food was cheap. Lamb over rice was $9.99. Now it is $12.99. I also find parking a big headache. That is why giving 4 stars.

We ordered everything available on the menu which is vegetarian. So falafel wrap, falafel rice bowl and loaded French fries. Requested extra white sauce and red sauce because they are great and enhances taste. Food was delicious. Falafels were crispy from outside and soft from inside. Pita bread was so soft and very tasty. And we loved the wrap. Food was very hot and so fresh. And the food quality is huge. We ordered two dishes and one side and two of us were able to use the left overs for two more times. So portion size per dish is great. We will definitely come here again for food but mostly for take out as parking situation is so messy. Only few parking spots available which are always occupied. There’s in n out right beside this but due to traffic it’s difficult to take reverse and go to in n out and again if we are not going to in n out then we can’t park there. Always a risk. And once you’re in the other parking lot you have to go and take u turn to come back to halal bros. More over to enter in parking lot at halal bros is all together while task. The uneven curbs and the pot holes and don’t know where the road ends and curb starts - it’s messy and difficult and don’t want to damage my car. Anyways, my parking rant ends here. 5 starts for food and customer service and negative -5 stars for parking situation. Checkout the photos for parking and food.

I’ve been coming to this location for the past four years, but lately, the experience has been disappointing. For one, the staff no longer use gloves when preparing food, which raises serious concerns about hygiene. On top of that, there’s a major language barrier—none of the workers seem to speak any English, making communication frustrating. The overall atmosphere has also gone downhill. At the entrance, the main door is completely shut, replaced with a poorly marked sign and a drawn arrow pointing to another entrance just a few feet away. It feels inconvenient and unprofessional. Whoever advised this new layout and business model clearly didn’t think it through. This place used to feel alive, fiery, vibrant, and full of energy, with the smell of smoke adding to the experience. Now, it feels cold, lifeless, and stripped of the charm that once made it worth visiting.

Weird experience. The parking situation is a nightmare. Highly recommend going and parking at the FedEx car parking for the 5 mins they take to prep. The people there didn't speak English while I was in and I had trouble explaining what I wanted. But the food portion was good. This place is more for college kids on a budget rather than people looking for an amazing plate of chicken over rice.

A friend had highly recommended this place so decided to try it. Ordered the Beef shawarma wrap which had a very strong meat smell and taste. Left half of it. The combo chicken gyro over rice plate tasted pretty good. Also got Falafel side order which was delicious. Crispy from the outside and soft from the inside. The parking is almost non-existent. Space for 3 cars to park and there was only 1 person dining in. We wanted to dine in but couldn’t find parking so very disappointed. The inside seating area was also not too clean. Nothing special about the service staff.

Do not order with Doordash or any other delivery service, they will get your order wrong. Twice I have tried to order from this place and both times they have completely ignored my order requests. Both times I tried to order a Lamb Shawarma over rice with only rice lettuce tomatoes onions white sauce. Both times all they sent me was lamb rice and white sauce completely ignoring any vegetables I requested. And of course Doordash will only give you a partial refund... Wish we had an actually good chain like The Halal Guys in town. I don't know how you can not make an order correctly twice. Will not be ordering from them ever again.

chicken shawarma over rice was 18 dollars… is the shawarma in the room with us .? .? Worst halal in Austin I’ve ever had… chicken was rubbery and flavorless. go to Sam’s gyro halal or gyro delicious truck … 😕 service was kind tho..
