Classic Bar and Restaurant. Food is superdelicious. They are specialised in meat but also offer fish. We had the chuleton and it was excellent. If you can go with a classic ambient you will be delighted by food and service.

Impressive meal. We accepted waiter recommendations, and it was a hit. Season mushroom, and "chuleta de Aliste". Everything was exquisite. It could be a bit pricey for Zamora's residents, but not for other places and cities. It's worth every euro. We'll come back to this place.

The food is very well prepared and uses quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive, with attention to detail and recommendations. The atmosphere is pleasant, ideal for a quiet lunch or a special dinner. One point for improvement is the price is somewhat high for the portions, so it's not an "everyday" place, but rather one for special occasions. Overall, it's a satisfactory experience if you're looking for good food and friendly service, keeping in mind that the price may be higher than expected.

The bread could be better. The croquettes are reasonably priced and have a good quality/quantity ratio. The tomato salad is good, but overpriced (€9) for the small dish. The rest is decent, but the quality/price ratio is average. The service is fast. The best part was the cheesecake afternoon, although it's more like a flan, which is why I liked it.

We recently had the opportunity to visit this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. Although we had read some reviews online, the experience exceeded our expectations. The restaurant pays close attention to its presentation, with beautifully set tables and a clean, inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent, polite, and efficient, attending to our needs at all times. We ordered a bottle of local white wine, which turned out to be very good and had a distinctive flavor, typical of the region. As for the food, we started with torreznos (crispy pork belly), sweetbreads, and scallops. While the torreznos could have been a bit more tender, the sweetbreads and scallops were a real treat. For our main course, we ordered the Aliste beef for two, which was exquisite. And to finish, we had cheesecake and cañas zamoranas (a type of pastry). The cheesecake was good, although it tasted more like flan, while the cañas zamoranas were a true delight, especially with the combination of strawberry and cherry flavors. The presentation of the dishes was excellent throughout. Overall, we were very impressed with El Portón and would definitely recommend it.

A well-located tavern for lunch or dinner. They have a simple but varied menu of starters, but not meat dishes. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended.

Good food but a bit pricey. I recommend the tomato salad. The cheese player is just one kind and too expensive for what it is. If order wine by the glass be more specific with what kind.

This restaurant is a classic in the city of Zamora. The decor is classic yet elegant. The ingredients are top-quality. I would recommend any type of meat… the flavor is exceptional. Let the waiters advise you… they are attentive and knowledgeable. It has an extensive and quality wine list. The price is right for the quality.

The food was good, but far too expensive for what it was. The sirloin steak was €28 for medallions that barely weighed 200g in total, which I found outrageously expensive. The scallops were very good and reasonably priced. The cheesecake, in my opinion, wasn't a cake, it was flan. The service was average, and they were always trying to sell you more things.

It's a shame this place is run by one of the rudest people I've ever met. He shouts at you the moment you step inside, and the place, by the way, is laid out in an incredibly stupid way, with the people who are there for a drink crammed in and the rest of the area empty. Not content with shouting at you, he seats you where there are other people, treating you like a prisoner in an Angolan jail. It's a pity, but thankfully there are plenty of other places to go in Zamora where you won't be yelled at by a rude person.
