The food was ok but the in store experience could not be worse. I walked in and looked around the store to find there was no menu above the cash or on the wall. I asked some kid behind the counter (who was wearing shorts in December???) if I could have a look at a menu and he replied "We don't have one" and just walked away. Furniture was strewn everywhere, there was a sign outside that said "Coming soon" and there were other people there that looked pretty lost too. Like honestly, who's managing this place????

This dominos location is an essential part of a students diet. They offer great prices on most items. Be sure to order through their mobile app for coupons and deals. Ask for extra sauce!

Fairly decent Pizza. Although I have to say that the prices could be cheaper for something as simple as a pepperoni pizza. However it's not horribly expensive. Service was nice, the pizza is hot and the drinks were cold.😎

You don't choose Dominos for the best pizza, you chose them for value, reliability and certainty. Its okay pizza, but its good at its price point and they run a tight ship. You know what you are getting and the company is responsive, with good reliable staff. So even though there are tastier options, I end up ordering dominos the majority of my pizza orders.

I got the medium chicken taco pizza. The pizza was big, however the dough was not really cooked all the way through. The price was $12.99 for this size (carry-out).

I had a negative experience that was in part my fault. I ordered on the app and forgot to change the address to my new apartment. I'm in centretown and was informed by who I presume was the manager that it was "illegal" to deliver to me because I am not in the downtown core. The location at Friel is only 1.1km from my home. Unfortunately the manager was a little short with me and I wasn't offered a in store pickup option or maybe an address near me I could have walked to. This meant that my already cooked food presumably went to waste. A shame that this technicality for delivery areas results in a frustrating experience for the customer.

I usually like Domino's but, on April 26, 2025 the deluxe pizza was undercooked. We can still taste and feel the dough. Me and my friends all have stomach issues. I tried to complain online, as I used the app to order. However, the form requires an order number and, there is no order number displayed in the app.

Worst domino's in the city, I ordered 20 mins before close only for them to cancel my order last minute and then call me private instead of notifying me that there.

One employee, Sarouv is always messing up my orders. Whether it's adding ingredients I'm allergic to my pizza, or missing half my order, this kid needs to be retrained or let go

Never ordering Dominos again. The worst service. Driver was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I always tip, I am a server and actually only gave the driver a dollar because of his utter lack of customer service. I understand if my buzzer isn't working but to blame me and get mad at me for it wasn't cool. Needless to say I wasn't polite to him in the slightest after his rudeness. I am now boycotting this restaurant and am going to tell others the same.

I have ordered 3 pizzas in the past month (different times). The first and second times, there was barely any toppings. Both times I chose normal amount. The third (most recent) I asked for extra pepperoni and mushrooms. I got barely any cheese and toppings. I could see the sauce and the crust was more than 2 inches in. No more. Its not worth it.

I called this place to order pizza for delivery,and a man answered,and when he gave me a price,I asked for the total,and when they arrived to my surprise it was $4 more,and I refused the pizza,cuz I didn't have that amount currently on me,is it my fault to be sure to ask for the price 4including the cost,plus delivery fee,and tax,for the complete total,my suggestion if a man answers be weary cuz it may be him!!! This location ALWAYS gets your order wrong. I ordered a pizza a few weeks ago with chicken, Alfredo sauce and pineapples, and they forgot pineapples. Before that I ordered one with sausage and they gave me chicken. Just yesterday I ordered a simple pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and instead I get peppers. How do you mess up a two topping pizza? Once they didn't even cut the pizza. Just go to the Pizza Pizza a block away instead

Terrible customer service. The manager is extremely rude. No consideration for their neighbours (students). Large and loud delivery trucks at all times of the night. This is not the kind of business you want opening in your neighbourhood. I am boycotting this restaurant and hope others will do the same. We need more local restaurants like Pizza Lovers (223 Laurier Ave East,) where the owners are kind and care about their customers.

After ordering dominos for over 3 years now from this location, always going through my "easy order" on their website ordering the exact same thing, they have decided to automatically select a 15% tip in small font at the very end of the checkout process making myself and probably many other accidentally tip on a CARRY OUT order. Long time customer for Dominoes. However, their quality has really gone done hill lately. My last four pizzas have been either done improperly or basically inedible. Also, they got rid of one of their best promotions and raised the prices shamelessly. Combine that with rude service on the phone from my last order and Pizza Hut has a new customer.

So i used to like this place but like im never going there again.....todays experienced has completly soured our love of domino's pizza like a glass of sour milk.....so we ordered pizza today online for pick up cause we live down the street.....we used the coupon "carryout only - Any Crust - Small, Medium or Large 2-Topping Pizzas (CODE:8367)" and i ordered a large double pepperoni and accidentally forgot to put the size of the second pizza to large for the second pizza and it likes to auto select small for EVERY new pizza you add even though the first one was large (which unrelated to this specific dominos location, is very scammy of the domino's website)(why would i order a small pizza for 11.99 when i can get that EXACT pizza as a large for 11.99) anyways the big issue came when i noticed this issue when i went to go pick it up i didnt expect a change but just expressed frustration at that the website auto selects small....and the guy who gave me my pizza was literally gas lighting me saying that the website doesnt do that and that i HAD to have specifically selected small, then got his buddy to come over and agree with him....this ensued into an argument this guy clearly has other things going on in his life, let me be frustrated dont try to antagonize the customer.....terible customer service......i wasnt expecting you to remake my pizza just giving feedback about how the website works that didnt require a response......anyways turns out the pizza was free cause i chose order at store but they said it was paid for already which is wasnt so ha.....wana slam the reciept down and show that i already paid for it? i literally didnt though..............as a side note back in november last year we ordered chicken bites and chicken bbq pizza and we got food poisoning SO bad like i felt crappy for 2 whole days puking and diahrea, not sure how they handle their chicken, hopefully better now, but ive never ordered their chicken bites since.......it only happened once but it shouldnt have happened at all..........also their handicap door is broken big pain as a parent with a kid.......another time we ordered a bacon ham pineapple pizza and it had no pineapple on it that time they gave use the messed up pizza free and remade the pizza but damn if this place dont be giving out free pizzas lol

Literally made me cry. I had a hard day and ordered pizza as a comfort food. When I got it I noticed there was no sauce on it just cheese so I called to see if they'd mixed up the order or something. The woman on the phone was incredibly aggressive and condescending towards me. She explained multiple time how pizza worked to me: they start with dough, then SAUCE then cheese. She also claimed it was impossible for it not to have sauce because then the cheese 'wouldn't stick' which just makes no sense. After staying silent through several minutes of this I said thank you, hung up and started crying.

Called to order delivery as this is the only do I is open right now and they tell me they don’t deliver to my address.. I checked on maps and it’s a 6 minute drive. It’s literally down the street and over a block… Called back to ask if they were sure they don’t deliver because I felt there was an issue with understanding as we speak two different languages.. when they finally understood what I was saying, they said “nooo…” and hung up. Nice.. 👍

Poor customer service. We placed an order over the phone to inquire about coupons or specials for handmade pan pizzas. Originally we were going to order one pan pizza and one cheesy bread and we were told it would be $24.99. The woman on the phone said their was a special for 2 of the same pizza and cheesy bread for $1 more so we decided to go with that. When we got to the location we were told it would be $37.50 for our order. They said they were unable to put the coupon in and therefore, the price was $10 more than what was said. We asked to speak to the manager and he didn’t honour the price and said we could pay $24.99 for one pizza, not including cheesy bread. We came in from Gatineau so this was a complete waste of time. The manager would rather throw the pizza out than give to us for the price quoted. Extremely poor customer service and very poor managerial skills. Hopefully dominos looks into hiring someone who knows how to work in a customer service industry.

After explaining, in person, for 10 minutes I do not want pepperoni I get the pie home and it of course has tons of pepperoni . I drove back and the manager essentially laughs at me and says it’s no big deal they will make a new one. No apology and no offer to do anything to make it better . The laughing is a nice touch. Will not be back .

My order was cancelled on my DEBIT card, so no payment issues, and I called to inquire why. Man on phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. He hung up on me, when I was trying to get clarification on a question. EXTREMELY unprofessional and just a lack of human decency in general. I was told that my entire apartment building with at least 1,000 residents is blacklisted according to the worker on the phone who HUNG UP ON ME. I just wanted clarification and it is his job to answer my questions, and attempt to help me, as a customer, as his job in CUSTOMER SERVICE. He was extremely rude and sounded annoyed and that he could not be bothered to help customers. I am disgusted. I advise anyone to go to different pizza brands or different dominoes locations. The Friel dominoes is NOT it.

the drivers at this location are literally incapable of following instructions- every single time I’ve ordered with exact instructions (buzzer number, where you can park, apartment number) I get phone calls from the driver sitting in the lobby. Jesus Christ, how hard is it to deliver a pizza to the proper apartment. I’m pregnant, so it’s not the end of the world for me to go to the lobby but it’s extremely irritating when I’m paying a delivery to the door fee. will never order from this location again, lazy & incompetent drivers. Give your money to the bank street location instead :)

I tried calling the domino's 5mins from my house at 10:35 several times to pick up a carry out order with NO ANSWER I was then directed to your establishment that is in Ottawa I'm in quebec... Domino's update your app so it doesn't take more time ordering than to take a shower. I'm not impressed at all, considering I've been a loyal customer for many years.. And maybe correct your staff on who keeps them employed. My food from this Domino's is exactly what I ordered, and I thank you for making my trip into Ottawa worth it

Terrible - we just came home with 2 BURNT extra large pizzas. When we called to get them replaced, we were offered a $5 discount on the *next* order. After going back and forth over the phone they agreed on replacing them, with their main concern being getting the old pizzas back…this was the first time after several years we got a pizza from Dominos and it’ll be the last one. Going back to Pizza Pizza, they have proper customer service (and way better pizza)

I ordered delivery and the delivery driver was extremely rude over the phone when he was trying to deliver the food and was asking me to come outside even though the delivery instructions clearly stated to enter the building to deliver the food. He called me lazy because I didn’t come outside, even though I wasn’t able to. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Will NEVER order from this location again. Third time ordering, third time receiving half my order. How do you charge a 13 year old $41 for one pizza??! And when I called to have the issue resolved it was one excuse after another. Management is garbage! Horrible experience, I’ve been a weekly/biweekly customer of this location for the past 3 years, and rarely had a problem everytime I ordered a carry out. However, everytime I’ve order a delivery, the driver never comes and when I call the store to enquirer about my order, I get told that “the driver left 2min ago” even though on the dominos app it says he left 30min ago and it now says that the delivery has been completed. Also didn’t get any form of compensation even though it took at over 50min to get my order (I live a 3min car ride from the store) and the food was now cold ( I mean it’s been waiting to be delivered for over 30min. As someone who works in a kitchen I find this service unacceptable.

Made a carry out order this past Friday night for 4 pizzas for me and my friend’s. We got there ~15 mins after ordering only to be told by staff they waited for us to come to even begin making our order, because they’ve received fake big orders before. After being told the order would take 5-7 mins to make (4 pizzas, 7 mins???) it ended up taking another 25 due to them dropping one of them. What’s the point of ordering carry out if they wait for you to come anyway to begin it? I don’t blame the staff as I assume this came from management, but that’s a great way to make sure people never come to your store again 👍 also bad actors can do the same thing you’re worried about by delivering to a fake address so great way to demonize your customers without fixing the problem

Wheelchair ramp was being blocked by the delivery driver and the buttons do not work to open the door. NOT wheelchair accessible. Placed an order and received the wrong toppings on the pizza. Put in a service request on the app. Got an email that said they’ll contact me about my complain in 3-4 business days. Check my voicemail and find out I have had received a voicemail from the owner about it. Contacted him after I heard it and he said he sold the business, go ask the store. Woman at cash said there was nothing they can do because it’s not on the computer even though I had the complaint request, the order number, and all other information as well as the voicemail from he owner. Ordered again, it took over 45 minutes for the order. Good thing they’re open late and by the university because the service wouldn’t be put up with by anybody other than students. Opt for one of the other food places nearby if you can, service is always great at quick food places i’ve tried around!

The staff does not wear gloves when preparing food.

The driver delivered my order and missed the wings. When I asked about it he lied and said sorry I forgot. He brought back a replacement cheese bread but it still was not the chicken I ordered. I am disappointed with how long it had taken for this order to get delivered and more disappointed in how little the delivery driver cared.

Late at pickup even though I ordered it ahead of time 1hr, overcooked, and it looked anemic and smaller than it should be, and very very flat, even for thin crust. Not much flavor...

It's a pity that one cannot leave negative star reviews for place. This is likely one of the worst customer service experience places I've ever dealt with. Some guy kept answering the phone there claiming to be the manager but was absolutely useless and didn't really care about me as a customer. The pizzas I received from this venue were literally burnt black and all the guy could say was "sorry, we can give you $5 off your next purchase". Dealing with Dominos corporate didn't help either, store is owner operated and managed, they don't interfere. The whole experience has now made me look for other Pizza places and I'm glad to say that I have found a great deal of better Pizza around the Ottawa area.

I ordered dominos pizza , which is literally 400 meters away from my house and the driver wanted a tip. When I put no tip , he asked me about no tip and try to make me feel guilty about it. I will not be ordering from this dominos anymore due to getting pestered about a tip which makes no sense.

Stingy owner bad portions horrible customer service

Tried to order pizza twice with two different types of cards and both times the orders were cancelled. Called the store to inquire about the cancelation TWICE and the employee did not give a proper answer or explanation as to why the orders were cancelled, and he ended up hanging up the phone. Informed us that our building address with over 100 other residents was blacklisted with no explanation why and I have ordered multiples times to this address for two years.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The cashier was more interested in talking to a friend and had a lot of attitude. They didn’t ask what crust I preferred. The photos says it all. I hope management steps in to improve things.

Ordered regular crust 20 mins in advance. ( Only had limited time to pickup while on the clock) Made thin crust and didn't even mention it. My fault, I trusted it was right until I got to my destination and found the error. :( They stand around looking lost and could care less about customer service. Came in for the posted $6 small 1 topping pizza special. We ordered a pepperoni pizza ($6) and bbq chicken bacon pizza ($16). The bbq chicken bacon pizza had one piece of chicken per slice, a few bacon chunks per slice, and one green pepper and onion on it, with the regular cheese and sauce servings. When you pay $10 more for toppings, you expect at least double the toppings, but you might as well just stick to their single topping pizzas for $6. What a joke.

Came down to get my order after I got a call saying my order is here and no one was anywhere to be seen and when I called the driver he said he left it and provided no solution saying he already did his job. No refund no new pizza no solution. Lost $20 for nothing and couldn’t take my tip back.

Rude and uncouth short male staff!!! Avoid this location! This is the worst dominos staff I’ve ever seen! I simply asked politely if my points could be added as I had difficulty ordering via the app. He didn’t even let me finish, he yelled and barked at me in such a way I wondered what what’s wrong with him!!! He is so unprofessional, and started cursing me for no reason, simply because I asked if my points could be added! He needs to learn manners and take up customer service training!!!

We entered to get our pick up order: the person at the counter while we were paying was hovering over the paypad, and didn’t even take his eye off of it once probably to assure we added a tip. This is the worst Dominos I've ever been to. The pizza tasted weird and made me sick. There are little to no toppings no matter what you select during your order. I could literally see my Pizza getting cold and almost getting dropped before they gave it to me.

Regular customer, never had any issues, until I order on their 50% off promotion. Apparently 50% off the price also means less than half the toppings to them.. This Canadian Pizza with "extra" cheese barely has enough on the top half to be considered regular (yes, I eat Domino's that much). And the bottom half barely got any cheese at all! The pictures really do no justice to how little cheese is actually on the pizza. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The cashier was more interested in talking to a friend and had a lot of attitude. They didn’t ask what crust I preferred. The photos says it all. I hope management steps in to improve things.

Avoid this location. Bad service and the people who work there are lazy. Ordered on 3 different occasions. Twice, 2 different drivers called me to me there’s no parking and i would have to come down to pick up my food, and both times they lied. Today I ordered the same exact pizza, and it came uncut and missing all the post-bake instructions I specified in the app. If you can’t even cut a pizza what are you doing working at a pizza shop?

Ordered regular crust 20 mins in advance. ( Only had limited time to pickup while on the clock) Made thin crust and didn't even mention it. My fault, I trusted it was right until I got to my destination and found the error. :( They stand around looking lost and could care less about customer service. Which is sad for a location within eyesight of Ottawa University.

Came in for the posted $6 small 1 topping pizza special. We ordered a pepperoni pizza ($6) and bbq chicken bacon pizza ($16). The bbq chicken bacon pizza had one piece of chicken per slice, a few bacon chunks per slice, and one green pepper and onion on it, with the regular cheese and sauce servings. When you pay $10 more for toppings, you expect at least double the toppings, but you might as well just stick to their single topping pizzas for $6. What a joke.

This is the worst Dominos I've ever been to. The pizza tasted weird and made me sick. There are little to no toppings no matter what you select during your order. I could literally see my Pizza getting cold and almost getting dropped before they gave it to me.

Regular customer, never had any issues, until I order on their 50% off promotion. Apparently 50% off the price also means less than half the toppings to them.. This Canadian Pizza with "extra" cheese barely has enough on the top half to be considered regular (yes, I eat Domino's that much). And the bottom half barely got any cheese at all! The pictures really do no justice to how little cheese is actually on the pizza. My deliver didn’t give me my order because i told him that i was coming and said that i was late. I came down under 3 minutes. Horrible delivery service.

Came down to get my order after I got a call saying my order is here and no one was anywhere to be seen and when I called the driver he said he left it and provided no solution saying he already did his job. No refund no new pizza no solution. Lost $20 for nothing and couldn’t take my tip back.

Rude and uncouth short male staff!!! Avoid this location! This is the worst dominos staff I’ve ever seen! I simply asked politely if my points could be added as I had difficulty ordering via the app. He didn’t even let me finish, he yelled and barked at me in such a way I wondered what what’s wrong with him!!! He is so unprofessional, and started cursing me for no reason, simply because I asked if my points could be added! He needs to learn manners and take up customer service training!!!

We entered to get our pick up order: the person at the counter while we were paying was hovering over the paypad, and didn’t even take his eye off of it once probably to assure we added a tip. Which we did, but the need to pressure customers to add one is unacceptable and just weird. The food was good but it definitely threw me off from this location.
