Just ordered here for the first time I had ox tail, with rice and it tastes amazing. The portions were superb and the lady working there was so kind. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and I will definitely be back.
The food was really good. I had a mofongo con chicharron inside and pulled pork. It was very well seasoned. This was $11.99 Will definitely come back and try another dish. But do go early in the day when the food is freshly made. Some of the dishes can be done before arriving, please call ahead and give her time to cook it.
I’m so glad I found this place! I haven’t found many Dominican restaurants on my side of town and this place hit the spot. I got a Cuban with salami instead of ham and it was delicious. My husband got a chimi. We especially appreciated the amount of tostones we got with our meals. The owner was super nice and made me feel at home. We’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!
Feels like I'm home and in the kitchen with family! The food is delicious and flavorful that is reminiscent of home Latin/Caribbean cooking. It's a good size portion with a little bit of everything that needs to go with a plate. The owner is so warm and friendly that it makes you feel like you're visiting family. I will definitely be back to try more dishes. I got the stew chicken with arroz con gandules, pinto beans and sweet plantains. The sauce was so flavorful. I even ate the sauce from my friend's plate. I've tried the oxtails as well on my first visit and they were delicious, meaty and flavorful!
Food was excellent! My daughter found this place for us from doing a google search and I’m glad we came here. The owner was extremely friendly and prepared the food fresh for was. She was incredibly hospitable. Will definitely be coming back.
First time trying this place and I LOVE IT!!! the owner was so nice and the food was beyond delicious. I highly recommend this place, I’m looking forward to try other dishes. There isn’t to many Dominican places around where you can get that great flavor. I tried the Mangu con los tres golpes which is hard to find at night! So another plus there.
I was looking for a dominican restaurant since I was craving mangu and found this little gem. Did my 35 minute drive and it was worth it we even ended up taking to go to eat the next day at home. Los tres golpes was delicious and my natural lime juice OMG just amazing 🤤🤤. The people there are super nice, reminded me of my home town. Would recomend.
Our hostess kilsy was amazing, fun, gave me very much “feel good vibes” in the morning. The mongu was sooooooo good. If you haven’t tired this little spot of sunshine you need to go.
Great food and great service, definitely one of my new favorite places for Dominican/Caribbean food, the Mangu con los tres golpes is the best I’ve ever had. Sad it’s taken me this long to find this little gem.
Quaint and affordable. The host Kelsey is attentive and a do it all master ( cook, manager, dishwasher). #MerengueBitesCuisine
Delicious food and even a better price! Never been disappointed plus it’s family owned, can’t go wrong here.

Beautiful little place. Drove 2 hours to try their Oxtails and was not disappointed. FALL OFF THE BONE. You can taste the love poured into the food with every bite so full of flavor. Service was very homie and pleasant. Definitely recommend dropping through for the food and wholesome vibes. Made our Valentine's day! ❤️
Found this little gem in my search for Tres Golpes a traditional Dominican breakfast. Was not disappointed at all. Food was delicious, fresh, large portions and the owner was very kind. We will definitely be back soon!
Really good home cooked Dominican food, super consistent and friendly owner. I eat here often and it never disappoints. Definitely worth trying.

Don’t know about the taste of the food, but service on business hours definitely didn’t work for me today. Google shows that they’re open and they’re NOT open.
Came on a Saturday at around 1:30p and they were closed. Drove 30 Minutes for nothing. Please update hours.

They charged double other prices I’ve read in reviews from Spanish people. I guess if you’re not Spanish don’t come unless you don’t mind spending double. Was $40 for two meats n rice yikes. Didn’t taste THAT good
