Here visiting from Texas and lucked up on this gem. We had the veggie combo and Shiro and it was AMAZING. You could taste the love it was cooked with. We also had the opportunity to watch the coffee ceremony. What a delight. Also, the owner and her daughter were so friendly. They explained the coffee ceremony and some of the history. We'll definitely be back.

First time eating Ethiopian food, and we will definitely be back! Everything was phenomenal. Between 3 people, we split the meat combo, the veggie combo, and the beef tibs. The beer was amazing too! Service was so warm and welcoming. We’ll be dreaming about this meal until the next time we’re back :)

Great spot! Best Ethiopian authentic restaurant. The place has a great vibe and really good energy, besides is a family own restaurant and the food is freshly made so you need to be patient for your fresh food to come, best thing ever. We choose the meat combo with sides of vegetables but anything in the menu is excellent. I definitely recommend it, try it out and thank me later.

The fact that this restaurant was full of people on a Monday night tells you all you need to know. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Denver, as I was. The veggie combo (Beyaaynetu) and meat combo are solid choices if you’re looking for a taste of everything. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the server was fantastic.

Delicious! Veggie combo was great and filling. I'm not vegetarian, but I love Ethiopian cooked veggies. I was visiting from a small, non-diverse city, and hadn't had Ethiopian food in a couple years. Will visit again next time I'm in town

This place is the best Ethiopian restaurant I have ever been to. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is extremely traditional and has extremely fresh ingredients. I recommend getting the golden tibs and the veggie combo. Great for date night or family. They also have live music and are open super late. Don't forget to get the coffee, it's very strong and super delicious!!!

I just ordered carry out and I'm so stoked about this place I haven't gotten back to my hotel yet to eat the food and I want to tell everyone about my experience. The restaurant has a calm and inviting vibe. Very clean and enough space to not feel crowded. They have legit vegan options and carnivore options. The reason I'm really excited: my wife and I had an amazing conversation with the daughter of this family owned restaurant all about Ethiopia. She was very easy to talk to and well educated about Ethiopia, we learned so much and might have to book tickets to visit soon. I have never had a better conversation with a stranger in a restaurant than today.

First time trying ethopian food. Everything we ate was above average however they did not have sambusas and the veggie dishes were cold to warm. Meat dishes were hot but beef was quite chewy. Chicken leg was our favorite. The sweet wine was a pass for me.

There are a lot of Ethiopian cuisine options in Denver. This one stands out from other. However, the atmospher of the restaurant is not of high standard. Food was okay. Their injera was too sour compared to other ethiopian restaurants I,ve been to. Server was great explaining everything to us. Overall I would say this is a great restaurant.

Really charming place with such friendly people! I enjoyed the spicy red lentils. I wish they had premade suggestions of the sharing plates as we were confused on how it worked with the family style.
