One of the most fun bars in the Thousand Oaks area. They have pool tables and karaoke and plenty of bars to order drinks. They have an outdoor area as well so it really accommodates everybody’s bar preferences

Great nightlife spot for a younger 20’s crowd, but I have fun wherever I go. 🤘🏾🥳 DJ is awesome. Didn’t try the food. Drinks ok.

last Friday my co-worker and I visited your establishment and is only fair to say we had more then a great time we all work for UCLA on thousand oaks the food was great the music and the staff was very friendly particularly Krystal since she was the waitress assigned to our table and just wanted to thank her again for being so friendly and nice and she smiled all the time and I can definitely say that we will be back. thank you for your hospitality. Cool place Everyone is so friendly I didn’t know anyone when I went there. Had some drink, ended up playing pool with some guys and girls. Had fun and exchanged numbers … they have a small dance floor too 👍 Give it a try

Tipsy Goat is a great low-key pub with a friendly atmosphere and friendlier staff. Barbara is a super attentive and kind waitress who remembers the usual orders for everyone in our group. They have King's Trivia on Tuesday nights at 7 with a large and competitive crowd. If the bar area is too loud for you there are also two cozy patios, one with fire pits and one with a ping pong table, as well as a few smaller rooms with couches. They have a pool table, foosball, darts, and a photo booth as well so there are lots of ways to spend time with your friends here. Their drinks are great and so are their food options. Our favorites are the spinach dip and the frickles (they have the best fried pickles I've ever had) but they also have really good chicken tenders and tacos.

By far my FAVORITE bar to visit. The staff and owners are the most humble, friendly people I've come to know in the area and I always feel safe coming here. Theres Karaoke on Mondays and Wednesdays, various games, pool, darts, shuffle board, jenga, connect four, etc. Happy hour on Mondays and Thursdays. The smoking section is the entire back patio and they have two bonfires. Amazing drinks and food. Been coming here since this past December and I never go anywhere else. Basically my second family. Cheers to running a bar where people can gather, be themselves and always feel welcome. Also on a side note Babs (Barbara) KILLS it everytime she's there. Amazing worker and an even better woman.

Just turned 21 and this was my first bar and even tho i dont kno the ways yet the staff has made me feel super comfortable and are great. Drinks are bomb and so is the music and plenty of games. Def will recommend. Ps mocha(waitress) is amazing and made me love my experience that much more

Great spot for friends and co-workers to hang out. It's family-owned and operated, there's something going on every night, and the community there is always welcoming. Go hang out by the fire pits, order some specials, and enjoy the food.

Great little pub in town that has good food and a nice environment. Very friendly and attentive staff! There is a big patio with a lot of seating, fire pits and propane heaters. They also have pool, darts, and more! Fun place to visit, especially for happy hour.

Tipsy Goat is a great bar. We had Irish egg rolls Shepard's pie and Buffalo wings. I would call the wings better than average, the shepherd's pie great, and the corned beef egg rolls were amazing (a must have.) The staff was one of the best around, super familiar with the regulars and super welcoming to us first timers. We were there for trivia and will definitely be back in the future. Thanks for the great experience.

Came here on a recommendation a friend gave me while I was traveling for work. Pleasantly surprised at the environment and atmosphere. The food was above expectations as well!

Great waitress, good food, they made us a dessert even after the kitchen was closed. Also, this place becomes a complete 180 after the kitchen closes and is an incredible night club vibe. Great spot to mingle!

Tipsy is the lifeblood of Thousand Oaks bar life. On busy nights it's laid back chaos ‐ you can meet dozens of new people. On dead nights it's an intimate place to kick it with friends and have deep conversations over the fire pits. Karaoke nights have great energy, and dancefloor nights tend to have a genuinely good vibe without a lot of fights or drama. Security is friendly and professional, their specials are decent, and the games make for a good social time.

Went there on a Friday after a funeral. I had never been there before. The service was exceptional and staff was very friendly. Plenty of drink specials offered and the food was delicious. We had a combination of items and all were very tasty. I would recommend going.

This place is excellent. Great music, drinks, and food. The happy hour menu was excellent and a sufficient amount of food, and the Irish coffee I ordered was delicious. I would definitely come here again. The staff was also super friendly.

The first time I went to tipsy goat was two years ago on St. Pattys day. I LOVED it! I have been frequenting it with my coworker and friends. Its a down to earth, good vibes, chill kind of place. Nothing too crazy (unless its St. Patrick's Day). They have shuffleboard, darts, pool, and the best part is the outdoor fire places!!

My friends and I were just enjoying our time when an aggressive guy and his drunk girlfriend started harassing us. Luckily, a security guard named Jamal stepped in and handled the situation with professionalism. He made us feel safe and heard. Thanks to him, we feel comfortable returning, knowing he’s there to look out for us.

Honestly one of my favorite places to hang out with friends and have a drink. The atmosphere is what really makes this place. The bartenders and servers are really nice. There is games, a fire pit and themed nights all week. Every week. It's a gem of a thousand oaks.

The tipsy goat is a comfortable establishment tucked in the niche between the parking lot of Outback and massage center along the northern end of thousand oaks Blvd. A great place to visit if looking for a quiet eatly evening drink, or for an eventful weekend night. Tipsy Goat is equipt with pool tables, dart boards, giant janga, and a great playlist. A gem to the city of thousand oaks

Very welcoming place. The staff are so cordial and courteous. Brittany the manager went out of her way to help me. I walked in to find out if they were hiring and even though she was done with her shift, she stayed back to speak with me. Now that's a quality of a great manager. I wish her all the success. I also want to comment about Travis, who was very helpful and kind. Very cute place.. good going guys!

I recently had a school reunion on 10/14/2023 with 150 alumni from Oak Park High School that graduated 1983-1988. DANIKA & KYLEE were amazing at helping put this thing together, endless questions via email and helping to figure out all that was (or wasn't) needed. I forgot the guy that did security at the back gate, but he was checking everyones ID and crossing their name off the guest list. Not on list, no entry to event. Kylee and her crew were setting up early and were ready to go when alumni started arriving at 6pm. I left at 1:30am and there were still people there, enjoying the fire pits. The compliments I have received on the reunion FB page along with messages sent to me were that the event was perfect! The venue was perfect. The food was delicious. Service was wonderful. The only complaint I got was about some smoking on the patio area.....this person wished that could be done in the parking lot, but I know the outside areas of bars/restaurants is for smokers. The evening started out with a HUGE charcuterie tray, fresh fruit & veggie platter. I had to make sure I covered meat eaters, vegans & vegetarians at this event. Our main dishes, all finger food with the chicken & burger sliders (raved about those), the chicken & shrimp tacos (OMG, they were delicious), grilled veggie skewer (I believe everyone enjoyed, I do not care for bell peppers so I did not eat). The emanadas were delicious as was the spanokpita (a tad bit greasy).....but EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS! We had the entire venue (inside/outside) from 6-10pm and at 10pm, the venue opened to the public. I think my only complaint was, they were letting people in through the back patio, where we were supposed to remain as a private event and people were walking through, checking out the gift bags that were out for alumni and were even sitting down to enjoy the fire pits and tables. I was told we would have the back patio to ourselves and that was not the case. I think allowing public in through only the front doors would have been better and a sign on the back gate, that closed for private event. YES, Tipsy Goat definitly caters to the 20-30 year old crowd as some of the public passing through, had commented loudly, wanting to know if it was "grandparents night out....." Again, a sign on the back gate and even the door to the back patio, that it was a private event, would have helped. Otherwise, the evening was perfect and went exactly as I envisioned. I would definitely consider having the next reunion at Tipsy Goat!

Good indoor/huge patio bar. Food is ok better hang out than resturant for sure. Young good looking crowd. Im 30 my gf 22 we both have a great time together everytime we go. We always find friends and run into old ones. make sure to have a designated driver it is a guarantee you'll get a DUI if you leave drunk. The local cops have it on lock at this place!

Be careful when going here and make sure to check your bank statement the next day you do. The Tipsy Goat likes to place charge authorizations on your credit card willy nilly and will end up taking about twice your money from you. Don't get bent over like I did by these guys. Bring cash or beware your bank account is going to reflect twice what you had been actually charged.

It’s pretty much the only late night bar for young adults. it should definitely open until 4am The way the bar is now due to Covid is better than before, IMO. Jukebox is a nice addition Only wish the had another pool table and more space indoors.

Tipsy Goat is pretty decent. The prices aren't all that high, and the service is quick even when there are the weekend crowds. I've also been here for a random work lunch and the appetizers are pretty good, didn't try any real food. Crowd is 20-33 on the weekend sbtw.

I went here on a Friday night and there was a relatively calm group of happy people around the bar area. We sat in the regular dining room area before we moved to a cozy spot with couches and a low table. The other tables were higher with barstools. However there was also a garden room on one half of the patio and fire pits with seating on the other side of the patio. As for food I thought the prices were a bit high but doable. I paid $13.00 for 4 chicken strips and fries. A coffee and cream was $3.50 approx. With tip I paid about $21.00. They were very delicious and properly cooked. Our waitress was patient and very polite. She helped me with menu choice. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. There was a D.J. on Friday and Saturday night. Wednesday has Kaoroke. There were happy hour specials but we missed the window of time for that. There was a dance floor on an enclosed outdoor patio. Very old Hollywood feel. It is a respectable establishment and the food came out really hot, just as I liked it. We might just go back on a Wednesday for Kaoroke. Friday night age range was approx. 20's-30's year olds. Check it out and see what you think. Thank you Tipsy Goat for our nice date night together. Much appreciated your hospitality.

Large establishment, good food but very over priced. We stopped at happy hour, but only a few beers on that menu. (Coors) They did not have a large tap to begin with..so not sure when a mango cart is priced at $10.00. And not on happy hour menu. Arrived at opening at 5pm and restrooms had not been cleaned yet. Friday night and at 6:30pm a total of 5 others were there. Never seen anything like that.

A

This feels like a post college bar. It's where we go when we miss those dice bar days but want something that folks nearer to middle age can handle. Sometimes there is a vivacious dance floor and dj, other times we've simply chatted with the bar tender or bouncer for a bit because it was a slow day. Shout out to all my local Trader Joe's employees that were at s table next to ours! This place has outdoor seating, a dance plaza, darts, and billiards. They have a full bar with a smallish beer selection.

C
Corey Green

Went for brunch on Sunday August 9th. The food and vibe is great but they only had one server working! She was great, but handling 10+ tables is not a job for one person. They need another server to provide better service. Also the bottomless mimosas are great.

R

The Tipsy Goat has an excellent out door area. It was not too crowded out side so it made a great play space for the kids. With fewer people outside we were comfortable letting them play on the giant connect 4 and run amuck. The server Babs was attentive and fun. Extra napkins were brought over without having to ask. Chocolate milk was brought out quickly for the kids. The Mac n Cheese was the star of the show. Highly recommend this side for our dining experience. The wings were slightly over cooked and under sauced. But I would try them again. I won't let a small thing like this ruin a great night. The salad dressing was very tasty too. We would most definitely come back here with the family again. Great location for large parties too. The out door seating area has lots of umbrellas to provide shade as it is facing the sunset.

Tipsy Goat is a great spot for happy hour, darts or late night dance parties, but our favorite time to visit is for Tuesday Trivia! Babs is the best waitress and takes great care of us always. She is always on top of things and remembers our favorite items, special requests etc. and Kylee is a terrific quiz master. The whole crew works hard to give their guests a great experience.

This is the go to spot for fresh 21 year olds. On weekend nights the place gets extremely crowded. They have darts, a pool table and a few other bar games. They also have a cool patio with fire pits and lots of tables. The food is pretty good during the day. They have week day alcohol specials as well as karaoke and djs on the weekends occasionally. They also have a good variety of beers and alcohol.

Beer choice is good, but pints were $8.50. A couple of the beers tasted like the kegs were not fresh either. I wish it was better because it is a good way to beat the lines at Tarantula Hill, which are not worth waiting in.

This place is hit and miss. Sometimes I have a great experience here and other times bartenders ignore their patrons. It's a younger crowd for sure. One of the better bars in T.O., which doesn't say too much.

N
Nick Camacho

this is a nice hangout for younger crowds, obviously not in my age group. on busy nights you are better off ordering from the server if you are lucky to find one. otherwise the bar is always an option that will hav3 you waiting for a while. I highly recommend getting 2 drinks at a time to make the wait worth it. I don't know how the food is since I was not there to eat but I wouldn't have had anything anyway just based on the appearance. this place is also very casual as it seemed like everyone was wearing shorts and tank tops. so no tie required.

M

We have been a few times in the last 6 years. The food is great. Most of the staff are great. But the owner not so much. We thought maybe it was a one-off seeing her be rude to a customer. However, her responses to any negative reviews are BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL. The only response on a public forum should be apologetic, sincere or not. Hire a P.R. rep or just don't respond. These responses are gross, rude and unbecoming. Hopefully we will see "Under New Ownership" soon so we can return.

A very locals come first kind of vibe, especially in karaoke night. I imagine if you come here often enough and work to assimilate as a regular, you'll develop a sense of belonging. As a newb, however, you feel rather like an outsider.

The security likes to pick on people, drink prices are too much, beers on tap are sometimes stale. Never get food here, it's gross and from a can. This place has gone down hill the past 2 or 3 years

Total highway robbery charging $8 for a draft Bud Light.. it was freezing cold inside they had no heat. Really pretty fireplace and didn't even have it on. The bartender was too worried about talking to the pretty girls at the bar to serve anyone else

The serving glasses are dirty, the wait staff is polite, but more interested in hanging out with their friends. Good place for smokers. Didn't try the food. The security seemed biased towards certain customers. Several glasses were dropped and broken over the course of 2 hrs. Not recommended for most.

The shows are great but the staff is nonexistent. We went for the broadway show and for the entire second half the show we went completely ignored! Never got our drinks refilled. We got the bottomless mimosas and never got to refill pass the first hour. Very unfortunate but the show was great!

Played Terrible music. I recommended a couple songs and all they played was cheesy 2000s songs. Pool table had a hole in it so you can’t even play. Drinks are expensive and not good. Please go somewhere else this place sucks.

My expectations were pretty high when I asked them over the phone to put a table by the heat lamps. And on the phone they were very friendly. But when we got there we are treated pretty poorly by an abrasive bar tender(s). Maybe they were tired. I dunno, but we were at the time one of the few groups there when we arrived and they weren’t busy at all. Also, the food was pretty lack luster, some of the dishes were cold when they were brought out. If you order anything, order the nachos, it’s the only thing worth the price on the menu. Also, they said if we wanted to order anything else we had to walk up to the bar. However, the guy who worked the late shift was willing to help us out and not be such a stickler. So all in all, I wouldn’t go back.

My friends love the Tipsy Goat and we looked forward to spending St. Patrick's day there. We got there early in the day, but I was suprised to see they were short staffed - and although she was very sweet, we had to ask the waitress twice for the check and when we were leaving (left the money on the table) she said "wait, did you want to close out?" Evidently "check please" is hard to understand. The beer line appears to be fouled as well (should have sent ours back). Staff just seemed stressed. Would have given 1 star, but one extra star because it was a holiday of sorts.

GLASS IN SALSA: We had a wedding welcome dinner on Oct. 28 on the back patio. Great ambiance, nice lighting. A taco buffet was to be ready at 7:00. When we arrived after 7:15, only the table and bottoms of chaffing dishes were ready. Some early arrivals asked if there would be food coming at the buffet and the server strongly encouraged them to order food and drinks instead. When they discovered a taco bar would be coming they tried to cancel their order only minutes later but the owner (Danika) refused, saying they had already started to prepare the food. The owner also refused to comp the meals however did end up doing so, after a pointed discussion and sharing of the wait staff's interaction. Later, a guest told me she ate a chip with salsa and discovered a piece of glass in her mouth from the salsa! After bringing the glass to the manager, no apology was expressed, no "Are you ok?", and no one replaced the salsa on all the tables. The manager or owner never told me or the bride and groom what had happened. After our event, I corresponded with the owner and, only after my confrontation did she offer a weak apology, said she fired the waitress (of which I never asked her to do) and offered to refund the chips and salsa. I then asked instead for a $400 refund (out of a total of $3152 spent) which is insignificant compared to what she would've had to pay had our guest cut her mouth or swallowed the glass! One week went by and no word from the owner. I then emailed her again and, another week later, have received no response. She appears to now be "ghosting" me and has not even refunded the chips and salsa. I will say that once the taco bar was eventually set up the food was very good however, given the poor customer service, lack of honesty and ownership regarding the glass, I would not recommend patronizing this brewery.

My friends and I came here on Saturday 10/25 because we heard there was a DJ, wanted to have some fun. The night started out great and we loved the music and overall vibe of the place even thought it was a significantly younger crowd. However, getting drinks from the bar is when it started to go downhill. We were ignored several times getting drinks by a small blonde bartender. We later heard her be called Morgan by a co worker. She was very rude and standoffish. She made eye contact with my friend 5-6 times but preceded to serve younger people who just walked up after we had already been waiting awhile. She also was talking out loud about how drunk she was. Not sure if you allow your workers to drink on the clock but maybe talk to them about better customer service.

Went to play pool and have a bite to eat. Pool table is situated in the worst way possible, you could hit the big screen tv, a support beam or the wall. Staff kept propping open the door, leaving us to shiver from the cold. Staff had personal friends in Employees Only area who then reacted with hostility when we had assumed they were staff. Manager parked her Chrysler in non-parking zone just outside back door. Fish and chips was a pound of fries and two very, very small pieces of fish. Last but not least, and hilariously, #14 pool ball was a cue Sharpied with stripes and the number 14. Never, ever going back. Too bad, this place was pretty awesome 7 years ago.

I was physically assaulted by multiple security of tipsy goat. I asked for a manager multiple times. One of their names was Jay. All of them were fat, white, light eyes, and had zero professionalism. Picture of the S.O.B's . Stay away from this bar.

Why? Because its a local hangout? Lousy meals, rude staff, stupid layout. We don't serve pitchers because so many fights broke out? Our first and last time and this is TO plent of of places that actually want your business.

Security is little more then worthless, they stand in unsafe and just bad positions. Doors and walkways get blocked by large amounts of people with no staff to fix it. "I guess they dont know how" Bathroom setup is bad. And it's just a bad place to have a bar and the set up is very unsafe. I did like the bartenders and the music as well as the fire pit/heaters.

Came here for food, my first problem, got the Irishman sandwich and was by far one of the worse sandwiches I have ever had. $20 what a waste. Don’t eat here, I was desperate. Felt nauseous afterwards.

DJ sucked tonight, by anyone’s standards. I’m a DJ so I look for smooth transitions and music that will keep the crowd dancing. There were a few bangers, but mostly garbage. They used to have better DJs here. On a Friday or Saturday night the DJ is key. Probably why it’s not as packed as it used to be. I’m pretty lenient when it comes to DJs trying to put on a show, but tonight was below standard.

NEVER AGAIN We (me and my gf) went here, on a calm Sunday night and were having a good innocent night chatting with the locals and enjoying our drink. Nothing gone wrong, we were having a perfectly good night. I've never been thrown out any establishment ever. I've never even so much as left a less than 3 star review either. By the looks of the other reviews, some others have had the same experience, along with other poor experiences. Basically, I was told - without explanation - that I had to leave and to gather up my tab and go. It was hard to get any explanation - the look on the guard's face made it plain that they didn't have a reason. I feel extremely insulted to have been thrown out at all, let alone have to sit outside and wait while I got put behind every other person going either in or out without a reason by the douchey - very bro - security staff. Let me just explain how bro the security is. They acted like I was threatening them when I clearly only asked for an explanation and to speak with staff about what was going on. Then they threatened me and treated me like I was trying to stay in, at which point I had to explain to them that I hadn't asked to get back in and that I wanted to understand what the problem was. All of this being my first time, I asked if I could see the manager. The manager wouldn't come out, and staff didn't seem to see that their claims - whatever they were - could be either validated or invalidated by both my behavior or anybody else's testimony whether it be that I had disturbed someone else or done something unacceptable. They didn't care, because it appeared to be up to the manager or someone else, so they just acted very imposing when they could have just said as much. Every last bit of it was impolite when I feel I had done nothing wrong. I'm disgusted with the staff and feel angry that I was treated this way when a simple explanation would have sufficed. The entire ordeal had me livid with anger for a couple of hours. I wish I had read the reviews before I came here, or else I might not have.

Awful I didn't even drink at all while there and was asked to leave because I sat out side for some fresh air. I didn't want any trouble so I left but I was not too drunk and I definitely let them know, but they just wanted to act like bullies and try to abuse the little power they have.

As someone who lived in Ventura County for 25+ years, this has been one of the worst places I've had drinks. The bartenders are awful and staff is generally bad at doing their jobs.

We will never be back. I've been here a handful of times, but tonight, a Tuesday evening with less than 20 patrons in the entire building, blew it for this place. After we showed IDs to get wristbands and beers (two of us ordered nothing, no alcohol) were asked again 15 min later to show IDs again because apparently they check again at 10pm (it was 9:25pm). We refused and said we would show agin at 10pm if necessary. We were clearly the only people in the bar. The situation was escalated by the staff and we were physically thrown out of the bar. The bartender forcefully took the half empty beer glass from my boyfriends hands, then the security guard threw my wristband and ID in my face after I re-showed him my ID and grabbed my boyfriend and threw him out for calmly refusing to show ID 15 min from when his first beer was served. Do not waste your money here. Poorly run establishment. Update to be clear: we did not refuse to show ID, nor believe we didn't have to, when ordering a drink. We were not attempting to order alcohol.

I haven't been to this disgusting place in a while. I never experienced such discrimination until tonight. While young white individuals fall over exposing their private parts. The owner singled us minorties out and kicked us out. When asked why and pointing out why, she not only did not care but could not give a reason for why we were asked to leave. The white owner of this establishment was very drunk and did not care how other people behaved but proceeded to kick out people off lesser color.

They asked for my ID and the ID of the 3 friends I was with several times after we had already shown it multiple times to staff. After I refused to show it for the fourth or fifth time my beer was ripped out of my hand and the bouncer picked me up and forcibly threw me off the property. The owner came out to talk to us and stated that she has the right to check my ID as many times as they want. Do they have the right to steal my beer that I purchased? Save yourself the trip and do not go to this establishment.

The customers and venue is admirable but completely ruined by the blatantly rude and miserable staff- and don't get me started on the owner who is equally bad if not worse! She cursed out my friends and I for requesting more water (which was empty) at the bar and all we could do is laugh it off… Not only were we refused water throughout the entire night (after spending $100+ on drinks), we were thrown out from the women’s bathroom by a man 30+ minutes before closing! I am genuinely quite confused how you run an establishment without providing water and/or bathroom as if it's not a basic need... I know I speak for a lot of regulars and newcomers that attended this past weekend when I say that I won't be returning unless they undergo new management and fix their power hungry staff and all around values. Beyond disappointed in this establishment in every aspect. Do NOT recommend!!! Save yourself the time and disappointment, go across the street to tarantula hill for better staff, food, drinks, service, bathrooms, etc.

DO NOT COME if you want to have a good time! Discrimination is this place’s motto. Waitresses keep running to pretend to clean our table to check what we are doing, security guy kept walking by every 10 minutes. Felt discriminated and disgusted. All because we spoke a foreign language among us friends. We were later told we need to leave and accused of being intoxicated even though had barely any time to finish 1 beer. Nobody tells their real name, security pretended to be John, manager made up her name to Smith (not even sure if she was a real manager) just a shady approach. Too bad we picked this place, our evening was ruined. Unhappy people work at this place and they want to make happy guests miserable. Feel sorry for them. If you want to have good beer and friendly atmosphere, I suggest across the street, way better beer selection and much friendlier staff.

Shady business with a combative owner who doesn’t care about customers and a manager who can’t manage to pour a proper drink. It’s so inconsistent here and be aware they will add a 20% tip to your bill if it’s over $100. They claim it’s because some people weren’t tipping which is their right and if your staff was more professional maybe they would. This place is a joke, literally like a house party the only good people here are the security and a few of the guy bartenders. The owner who I spoke with thinks reviews don’t matter, who ever left a review must’ve gotten kicked out or some nonsense. No, it’s people that are giving you feedback that you don’t want to hear. Many more options nearby for late night. Tarantula Hill, Dave & Busters, Sunset lounge. They will not charge you for drinks one night overcharge the next they are robbing customers this place is a joke.

The way my friends and other bystanders were treated this last weekend by staff and owner was beyond disrespectful and shocking… I (and many regulars I spoke with that night) will not be returning for the soul purpose of not wanting to support the owner or their business… such a shame since the customers and venue was nice. Just head on over to Tarantula, Sunset Terrace, anywhere BUT here if you want to enjoy your night

Everything was great up until the end of the day. The food was great, the drinks were great however the server at the bar was not. I had left my card with the server at the bar to keep my tab open. When I returned to the bar to close my tab, a different server who’s name I didn’t get, informed me there is no tab open nor is there such name after gave them my name. I was concerned that someone had taken it or misplaced it so I asked to check with everyone at the bar. She kept me waiting while she served others only to tell me the same thing and that the server who helped me was gone for the day. I was upset because there was no effort in her part to get some answers. She was very rude, and displayed annoyance with me when I was genuinely worried that someone took off with my debit card. I asked to speak with someone and she told me no one is there and, again, there is no tab open. She shrugged her shoulder and made me feel like it was my fault when I had trusted them to keep my card. I was left so disappointed and upset that I got treated in that manner . I had to lock my account and request my bank for a replacement. Luckily I didn’t see any suspicious charges and I was able to lock it time. Now it’s an inconvenience because I can’t even use my Apple Pay due to it being linked to my debit card.

I want to start this off by saying that I am a long time customer of the Tipsy Goat. Never have I had anything negative to say about my experience with any of the staff. And I even gave myself some time to process this before I even wrote a review. Babs is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and all of the security guards have always been pleasant and funny. But last night I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Danika. I was looking for my friends so we could leave as one does when my phone died. Leaving me with no access to get in contact with them or call for a ride. I immediately found Babs explained her of my situation and she plugged my phone in for me. Not even 20 seconds later this woman (who i’ve never seen there in my 3 years of coming in) came up and started screaming at me telling me that it was time to leave. I attempted to calmly explain the situation to her and she said and i quote, “I don’t care if you don’t have a ride but you can’t stay in here you can stand all night in the parking lot for all i care” unplugged my phone and practically threw it at me stating that it was on now. i took my phone with 1% to where it immediately died as i tried to call my friends. Luckily Marshawn was up by the exit and was able to console me (as i was very upset and scared) and i was eventually able to find my friends. I understand that she was just trying to get people out and follow the rules. But as a bar owner to tell an intoxicated woman that she can sit in the parking lot for god knows how long and no phone is absolutely ridiculous. I LOVE this place more than anything but after that experience I don’t think that I ever want to give her any more of money. She should really stay at home and let her amazing staff do all the work.

I had a great time at this bar initially—the atmosphere was lively, and it seemed like a fun place. However, my experience took a negative turn when the bartender, Luey, made an ignorant and racist comment after learning where we were visiting from. It’s disappointing because the overall vibe was enjoyable, but this behavior overshadowed our visit. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure a welcoming environment for everyone.

Going off the review of Ian below, what's actually slanderous is to assume that a woman will just walk out of an establishment when this harasser could just be waiting outside. Also bold of you to assume that she would be in the correct state of mind after experiencing something like that, and able to make decisions like filing a police report. At no point did staff escort her, check on her, ask if she felt safe, or take the situation seriously. The priority clearly seemed to be protecting themselves, not protecting a guest who was visibly distressed. A restaurant has a responsibility to respond when someone is being harassed on their premises. This place failed at the most basic level. If you care about safety — especially for women — think twice before coming here.

Never had a bad experience up until Halloween night. I was carried out with force after getting my friend water while she was in the long line for the bathroom. I was grabbed by my jacket, then my whole body all of my belongings were on the floor as I was getting carried out (jacket, purse, and phone) I have bruises and scrapes from the security guard that was in charge of the bathroom that night. As soon as I got home I called to file a complaint. I was told that they would review the footage and call me the next day (Saturday) I still have yet to receive a call from the manager. As a young female, was a scary thing to go through. I have had multiple young girls reach out to me about how aggressive the bouncers are to them or other people.

The type of place where a woman can get put into a chokehold and no one helps her, even when the employees are asked to help. They even admitted to not helping after it happened and reviewing the footage. Edit to respond to the staff who commented: That's a wild statement for a company to make about a very serious accusation. Yes, clearly I wasn't there or it wouldn't have happened. If there was no incident then why were the police called and why do you know exactly what I'm talking about? Security was not responsive when being requested to help remove his arms from her head. You could always share the footage with people instead of claiming falsehoods, but that would require you to admit guilt in a horrible situation. What's truly cowardly is not standing up for someone who is need of help, but sure, come after me instead of reflecting on your company's failures.
