My friend and I came here last Saturday. First time. I always drive past it-but have not noticed it. It is located next to urbane plates and daughaus. The Owner(shamel?)super friendly and the food is delicious. Everything is fresh and they make their own sauces. Yummy!! I ordered the chicken bowl-delicious and lots of food! Rice is AWESOME!Around$13 for my bowl,but it was worth it. Way better than the other place I go to M.P. grill. Great service and food. I will definitely be back! Thanks!!

I’ve been eating at this place for over three years. Foodies can spot a gem when they see one. IYKYK. Stuff is made from scratch with love. Intense flavor explosion! You’d be hard pressed to find good home cooking like this at this price point. Affordable. Delicious beyond belief. The owners are super chill, very down to Earth, and very kind. You can tell they care about the quality of the food. I have never been disappointed by the food here. Quality is consistent and on-point. Looking forward to many more years of delicious food here. More people should really check this place out!

It's always a good sign when you see a skewer of beef, lamb, and chicken glistening over a hot grill; to be welcomed by wafting scents of searing meat; steamy goodness of toasted falafel and warm rice. I was in Dubai, Beirut, and Cairo many years ago and the food from Kabab Plus would have been right at home in any of those places. All that's missing are the hookah pipes, loungey sofas with elegant seating and exotic decor from Middle East culture. The guy that took my order was no-fuss and direct, completed my order in less than 5 minutes, and I was out. Very much like in the middle east, restaurant staff are direct and all about getting things done.

Amazing tasting halal lamb-beef shawarma & chicken shawarma personally served by an amazing owner, Shamel! Highly recommended eatery if you’re looking for halal food. We have visited twice now and BOTH have been the same standard of excellence in terms of the friendly hospitality and service, along with amazing quality food. Everyone should try their food as it is simply the best lamb shawarmas and everything else on the menu for that matter. We also had their chicken samosas and they were AWESOME!!! Thanks soooo much for treating your customers like family and giving them the best food money can buy. Food that is filled with blessings because the owner is such a wonderful upright person. We cannot thank you enough for your hospitality!!! We will ALWAYS revisit this restaurant when we are in the Southern California region as it’s simply the best food.

The food was delicious and we had a wonderful experience! The man who took our orders was lovely and gave us a bunch of tasty sauces to try, as well as some saffron rice. He allowed me to combine the curly fries plate with the mixed meat option (I got spicy chicken and lamb), which was a solid meal. This is a small family business and they really cook their food fresh and you can taste it. Thus, the wait is closer to a restaurant wait than the fast food that you might be used to with other gyro places, even though the ambiance is more akin to such fast food joints. But we had plenty of seating for a table of 8. We got a variety of dishes and everyone loved their choices. The meat was cooked well (they even ask how you want your lamb cooked), tasted yummy, and I particularly enjoyed the spices in the spicy chicken and the sauces he brought. The lamb was my favorite. The only knock was that the curly fries were luke-warm, maybe because all the food was brought out together even though we ordered a bit staggered as our friends showed up. The fries were still delicious and I still waited to eat most of them at the end. Will definitely come back when driving through!

First impressions was that they keep it clean. Looks like a little family owned place, the employees were all nice and respectful. Food was good salad could have been a little more spruced up with some feta cheese. Other then that it was good place and will be going back.

What a gem! Don't think twice about stopping here. Walk, run, fly to this small business serving up 100% fresh and from scratch Mediterranean food. We ordered far more food than we could eat just so we could try a little of everything and each bite was a fresh explosion of flavor. The owner was so welcoming and has a real passion for putting out the best food. We will absolutely become regulars at this place.

Just tried after recommended , there were really nice spicy chicken and chili green chutney that works together. The bowl is a good filling 👌 meal that with mixing the sauces and chutney help adjust the spices to a personal degree. Personally like really spicy and tangy so it balances everything.

Kabab Plus is my new favorite spot in town. Gyros taste delicious, fresh, and authentic (they have the vertical broiler you'd expect from any true kebab/gyro place). Never had a bad meal here—always have been pleasantly surprised and satisfied. If you're considering Nick the Greek, go here instead. It's better in every way. It's also clear that this is an intimate, family-run place with a comfortable atmosphere as a lunch counter. All service is friendly and familiar. Check this place out—you'll be glad you did.

This was our first time eating here and the food was absolutely amazing! We ordered the spicy and regular chicken kebab and chicken and lamb kebab plates as well as a side of freshly made falafels. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The salad was refreshing and the hummus and pita were perfect additions. The falafels were a little salty, but still very delicious. The owner was really friendly and so hospitable. This is such a wonderful family owned business and we can’t wait to come back!

In general, food was good. Had a good time.

You will not find a better Mediterranean restaurant in all of Ventura County!! Highly recommend!! Last August, my mother and I went to this incredibly friendly restaurant. They have so many options, and I was excited they have falafels. I ordered beef kofta and falafels, and tried both the saffron and spiced rice. Omgsh! One of the best meals of my life. The falafels were cooked to perfection, not too soft and not overly crispy. The beef kofta was tender and spiced well. The saffron rice was very good, however, the spiced rice is 🤌🏼 it is the most flavorful rice—you will ever have. I still remember both the sweet and savory notes. Which I loved. Not only is the food excellent, but the quality of the friendly environment is immediately felt. We were lucky enough to be served by the owner, Shamel. He made you feel like old friends. My mother and I so enjoyed talking with him and hearing about his passion for food and family. (Shamel, I am so very sorry for such an extraordinarily late review. I’m embarrassed it’s taken this long to share our amazing experience at your restaurant. But thank you for your hospitality! For sharing your food and about your beautiful family. You have a wonderful establishment and I hope to dine there again next time I’m in the area.)

This is my favorite Mediterranean place in LA so far! Their meat is so flavorful, and the homemade Hummus is insanely good!!! Also recommend the mint yogurt

The food was amazing and good portions. Shamil took our order and was so sweet and patient with our son. I got up to grab a high chair because my son was being restless and he said “no you eat I’ll grab it for you” that means ALOT to a mom and was above and beyond for customer service. Thankyou!!

We ordered the chicken and steak salads, the protein were delicious but the feta overwhelmed the salad. If you don't like feta so much be sure to let them know. Even though we were here with groupon, the prices are on higher end given the portions...

The wraps came out quickly and fresh. The tray was a little dirty but they covered it in paper to protect the food. For 11 dollars the size of a wrap for itself is relatively small. With inflation costs who can be blamed though. Over all not bad.

One suggestion is to add green sauce as another option. 5. Please update the prices on the menu as well as online. The price that was listed at the restaurant was higher than online menu. The price that was charged was higher than listed prices at the restaurant. There is a confusion regarding this. All old menu should be deleted and updated menu must be posted to avoid surprises. The worst food I’ve ate. Pointed towards a burger meal (printed on the wall), after a 10 minute wait recieved a burger only, no drink no fries Then waited for fries and was told it was free because the guy made a mistake Second order was a naan with two strips of Doner which was burnt. Once we were leaving was told to pay for the fries Cost $38 Service wasn’t good. Food was terrible As a tourist I would say the worst food place in LA
