I had the silver dollar pancakes with turkey bacon and a lobster bisque. Girlfriend had chicken wrap and soup with chicken and rice. Wrap had a nice portion of chicken.

These guys did a GREAT job on a large order with very short notice! The pancakes and waffles are delicious! And friendly staff. When indoor dining opens back up, be sure to pay this spot a visit. Thank me later.

I work a few blocks away and eat from here every week. These guys are fast and the food is always fresh and exactly as ordered. I usually get burgers, quesadillas, or wraps. Can't go wrong and pricing is good. What more can you ask for from your local diner?

I Went one time and i had to go back a week later. I have to say the food was great both times as well as the service... it was one of those places you see all the time but never go in... until you do. Love it!

I have never been inside of this restaurant yet, but it has been a blessing to my family and I during this COVID-19 crisis. My family and I look forward to our “order out” Friday dinners. It's been a long time since we visited the Brooklyn Diner. He came for breakfast. It was delicious. Service was perfect. Prices just right!

Solid breakfast menu. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. And you won't hurt your pockets. The service is not bad but not extraordinary. There is a waitress that always puts chocolate sauce on my hot chocolate. She's the best. The booths are cozy and very vintage.

The broiled salmon was excellent. No salt at all which I love so I can control how much of a pinch I want. Mash potatoes were excellent. Broccoli cooked to perfection, not too soft not too crunchy. My dad got some seasoned fries which I just.. I can't! Delicious! And the service was great. They had to close early, but they were accommodating, friendly and overall really kind to us. Always a pleasure, definitely going back!

I have deleted my last review which I had a issue with being told to use uber when I've been a customer since it was Vicki's diner and delivery wasn't a problem. Local manager Luke was great.this manager actually took time to research and call me personally to apologize and find out the other side of story.i take my hat off to him.He admitted it was a mistake.This is a dedicated manager .very respectful and down to earth.back up to 5 stars and he won me back...and yes I have ordered again with no problem. He's the best.God bless luke.any issues talk to Luke no need to go negative.give him a chance to rectify any issues you all may encounter.

Was kind of hesitant about going here because of the reviews but the food was delicious and the service was speedy fast. I had a Texas burger, my sister had a cheeseburger and my grandmother had the chicken and broccoli Alfredo. All three of us were satisfied AND STUFFED!

It was a really good breakfast with great service and the prices were fair. The waffle that I had was just right. Soft and fluffy not hurt or hard. The decor is old school diner. I personally think that it adds to the charm though. I will definitely return here and I recommend it for single, couples, or groups.

I love this place! Food is not too sophisticated, classic American cuisine but very good quality . Customer service is exactly how expect it - professional . It wasn’t the first time we went there and we were never disappointed. Highly recommend if you are looking for not too expensive but good diner .

I love the meals. There take out us set up so wonderfully. The price is a little steep, however, they mastered the way things are packed and they make you feel special with the delivery items. Delivery is quick and accurate. I usually buy the entrees. Their Italian dishes are spot on. Really good food when the diner is open (I miss that) but, for now this take is really worth the price.

From the courier: this is a really cool place! Very kind, intelligent attitude towards me as a courier. They cook quickly, if I'm standing outside, they can bring out the customer's order. We had breakfast here. My husband's main criteria of a good breakfast is well-seasoned home fries and that's what he got. Omelets also tasty, including the Spanish omelet, and our coffee cups never went empty. Great service, great food, friendly atmosphere.

This new diner is AMAZING!!! I haven't been here in forever but imagine my surprise when I stopped by for breakfast. They completely renovated and it's now brighter and more spacious. I never had a problem with the service here. It continues to be 5 stars. Breakfast platters are tasty and definitely good bang for your buck

The food was delicious and we got nice portions for our money. I got meatloaf with mashed potatoes and steamed spinach. My husband got cheese burger deluxe. I could not finish all my meatloaf so the waiter wrapped it up for me to take home. Also the service was fast and courtous.

Friendly staff as soon as you enter and they are attentive. My ONLY ISSUE WAS THE POTATO SALAD!! Ok and maybe the coleslaw but mostly the potato salad was bland and served it on lettuce with cucumber 😕. Otherwise I loved it

Clean quite can be busy some time the food is good and don't have to wait long for your food the waitress are friendly and always remember if you are a local.. I always get French toast and they always remember how I like it.. this place was remodel a year ago... no parking lot but plenty of parking on the street in front and side of building.. if you get a chance try it out and you shouldn't be disappointed

Wanted comfort food. So I got a pizza burger deluxe with a vanilla shake. Was not disappointed at all. Burger was juicy and shake was on point. Clean, friendly . It hit my spot

The food I order was always good. The staff is very friendly. I use to stop there before going to work and the guy that took my order was always so pleasant and he moves so fast lol.

I had a fish sandwich. It came on a plain roll. No dressing, Mayo, ketchup, tarter sauce, I asked for some lettuce and slices ofs onion. They added a 🍅 and charged me for a salad. We wanted coffee. We only had 20 mins. Coffee was never ready. The waitress was good though.

Although the food may not be 100% delicious here, menu is great and the staff is super friendly and baby friendly. For a quick, chill meal, it’s not a bad local spot. Prices are fine as well.

Decent diner. Reasonable prices, fair service, good food. They are also on grub hub. The delivery is fairly quick to us. The food comes hot, most things seem very fresh. From broiled salmon steak to just a cheese burger, they get it to you in an acceptable and edible condition. The fried foods that you would like to be crispy, are usually a little soggy, but that's the price you pay for offering things that are going to have condensation in the container. They give you plenty of little extras that you'd expect if you were eating at a diner (ketchup, napkins, Cole slaw, pickles, bread sticks, etc)

Food is good for a Diner. It does come out quick if you have limited time. Service was good and parking was easy to fine.

admittedly it was the first time I was there with the new owners and name, but my friends and I both had good meals, mine was a custom order and there was no problem getting it. Our first waiter did not speak much English so when I explain to him that it was a special order he went and got another person who was happy to give me what I wanted. I went in craving potatoes and the french fries were amazing and had the spot. We both had wraps and were very happy with our food. Definitely will be going back there, especially with good diners being far and few these days

Their food is not bad at all. Service is good. Overall we enjoyed it and did even return a 2nd time. We will probably go back again. I reserve 5 stars for exceptional customer service and such. But they were good.

The AC was on today and I'm not sure why. However it is a nice place, our waitress was a bit slow maybe bcuz it's a busier day than usual, but she was very pleasant. Scrambled eggs are the easiest thing to make and they were absolutely horrible, I had to disect my bacon because even tho I asked for it to be very well done and crispy and I got so much fat which I do not like. The only great thing on the plate was the home fries, the waitress forgot to ask what toast we wanted and we reminded her and then had to wait 15 mins after our food came to get the toast. My mom enjoyed her stuff so that's what's important, I am still hungry tho. The waitress didn't come and ask what we thought of the food or anything. I am throughly dissatisfied and disappointed in thos place. I didn't want to tip our waitress cuz I felt she did nothing to deserve one, but since my mom used to be a waitress she tipped her 😕

The was good took them a minute to get our orders right. My wife had the corn beef it was not fresh had it removed off the bill. Great service but, the complimentary juice cups are sized for toddlers. Grown adults do not need to drink a 4oz cup of juice. I'd rather you not give us any free drink if that be the case. The water taste like tap water. The variety on the menu is limited. The reason my family and I stayed was because of the service. They say great help is hard to find but, you definitely found it.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! IF YOU FEEL LIKE SPENDING 20 min on cup of coffee and than half hour for your simple omlette platter to come out - than this is the place. Vikkis is a small neighborhood diner located in Mill Basin. A friend of mine took me here but would never have gone in on my own. The place does not look very clean and the decor is very dated. The food was just ok for standard American fare and the service was adequate. When we were there the place was empty and this was around dinner time and the food still took a bit longer than I would have liked to arrive at the table. Maybe if I lived in the neighborhood I would try again but since I don't I do not have a reason to go back.

The food is ok but one of the waiters is insanely rude. Openly yells at customers for the smallest things and is insanely aggressive. While waking away from me and my friend he said he’s gonna smack my friend just because he laughed at himself after being awkward while ordering. I came in another time and saw him yell at a customer for not leaving a big enough tip.

I really like this establishment! However today, 03/03/19, it appeared that they were exceptionally busy, no wonder given the "usual" high level of service and food served. Sadly, as a solo customer, I was only offered counter seating. This proved to be not only uncomfortable, but also afforded people to talk over my plate. Adding insult to injury, my meal was served 27 minutes after the order was placed. It seems that management policy moved take out and delivery orders ahead of those placed by servers! Lastly, ordering breakfast past the usual hours, is not a good idea, as the food did not taste anywhere near as good as it did yesterday! :(

The saying goes that 1 bad experience can undo many good ones. Such was the case here. I have been a total of four times and the first 3 were fine. Menu was standard fare, food was good, and I loved that they allow you to easily substitute potato sides like French fries or home fries for things like sliced tomatoes. But the last time I went, the place wasnt extremely busy but I waited 45 minutes after ordering. Not even our ordered drinks came. It was the situation with everyone seated around us. It seemed like something was going on as busboys, bit a waiter or waitress, came around to show face and keep people cool. At minute 46 I upped and left. Felt bad, but I was grumpy and hungry. Not a good look.

Everything went well until the food came. In an attempt to change my order , I was ignored . The food came out and it was the worst. Almost everything was disgusting and tasteless. I sent my entire meal back. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. How do you mess up breakfast

Couldn't make it to the order. Came in after work one day, tired and just asked for a take out from the menu. Don't remember having ever been so disrespected. They were bored and decided to entertain themselves at the customer's expense (I guess the manager wasn't around). Anything I read out of the menu, they (two middle aged men at the Take Out counter) said they don't carry, than said that was a Muslim place, so no pork and so on and on, racist and stupid. They also looked dirty and sloppy, kind of guys who can spit in your food just for "fun". I couldn't believe that it was really happening, no second chance for them.

I went here with a friend before for lunch. The signs says, please wait to be seated, but nobody came to seat us. The waitress took quite a while to come over. My friend ordered a sandwich "Deluxe"- to us that means fries and onion rings... I ordered two things cheese balls, and crostini.... We also had coffee.... which was not good. After about 15 minutes the waitress came to tell me that they were out of the crostini... and ask what I wanted instead,,, Nothing.. She came right back with my cheese balls and 5 minutes later with an egg salad sandwich for my friend. Only fries.. When my friend mentioned the onion rings, the waitress seemed uncertain about whether or not the resteraunt included them with deluxe. ...They did not. Nobody came to refill our coffee or water glasses. The entire staff stayed on the other side of the restaurant. And did not come to check on us.. We were twiddling our thumbs waiting for a check while the waitress was hanging out by the counter.. Another customer even had to bring her food to the counter to get the staff to notice that she wanted it packed... I will never do there again... Very unprofessional staff.

The waiter who served us lost his cool with an argument. I know were all human, but to slam a ketchup bottle on the table was unprofessional. I also didnt like the servers incapability to advise on the ingredients used for the meal I was interested in as I follow a gluten free diet. Sure, he provided an alternative.... and I took that alternative but the food was super bland. I will not be goi g there again.

I ordered brunch combo which comes with coffee. Waited over 35 minutes and not a cup of coffee was on my table. nor the waitress stopped by to check on us. I would be fine waiting for the food but when it comes with coffee, you bring coffee beforehand not have us wait over 35 minutes!

On a hot day like today (90+ degrees), they sat us in the area that did not have any AC. I asked the waiter, and he tells me sorry we're working on the AC right now. But I look around and the area that had AC was filled with white people only. The area that didn't have AC was filled with Black and Hispanic folks, of course. The area with AC had more than enough space to fit all of us in. Ain't that something. In 2017?!!!! Well, this is my last time eating here for sure. And as a member of this neighborhood, I feel disrespected.

We ordered delivery. Food was much better in the past. The quality dropped significantly. New management or new cook? We will not be ordering again. For this money it should be PERFECT.

I order food from them every Sunday for my staff at work. First of all the food is too expensive for them to never be able to get a order right. Every Sunday they find a way to send the wrong order. I don’t eat pork, I will get sick and told them that when my food comes it is a plate full of pork sausage. This is the last Sunday they will ever get my business again.

This restaurant deserves 0 stars. Their customer service is horrible. Seamless had to apologize on their behalf and refund my money, as well as a $20 towards a future meal . . . After they accepted my order and never delivered. The food is not worth the bs. Spare yourself the heartache and skip this restaurant. You deserve better!

HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO THERE! Quality of the food was poor with horrible service. Placed my order for belgian waffles and the waitress told me "I'M gonna give you guys the SPECIAL." The special included a small side of strawberries. Towards the end when we asked for the check she yelled out "you are going to wait!!!!" And literally made us wait for the check for almost 20 min. When we got the check we noticed the waffles were 9.95 when originally it should have been 6.95. When i asked why 9.95 we were told its bc we ordered strawberries! It was the waitress responsibility to tell us just for some strawberries we would be charged an extra 3 bucks. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Will never go there again!

Not a warm and friendly atmosphere. Nothing changed after months of renovation. Staff is not at all friendly. Prices seem to be higher. It is sure missing that welcoming touch. The person that is seating you. On a non hectic moment. She should be greeting patrons. My family and I will not be going back there. I would rather go to IHOP.

Terrible customer service. Delivery guy didn’t want to come up to the door (apartment building) because he couldn’t find parking. And there was plenty of parking when I looked outside the window. He wanted me to come downstairs, and I have an infant at home that I clearly couldn’t leave!! Was rude also! They charge $3 for delivery though!!! Called the restaurant and they didn’t want to help me. Had to call seamless for a refund. Will never order from them again!!!

Dishes were NOT washed properly. I had apple juice in a cup and it wasn’t until I drank from it that I realized that there were a bunch of black specs in the ridges of the cup. Also, there were spots on the spoon & fork they gave my boyfriend and I. The service was pretty slow as well and the food was subpar overall. The only good thing was no waiting time but thats only because nobody under the age of 50 would want to eat here.

I tried to give this place a chance at least 3 x. However, the service is very poor and the customer service is not good. The wait time to eat is outrageous. I sat down for 15 minutes before anyone even asked for my order. Then, when the waitress finally came over she had an attitude. Although, it’s very close to my home, I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! If you’re looking to wait hours and hours for your food then don’t come here. There’s no reason why I waited 30 min for a bagel and butter. I’m very disappointed.

I’m officially done with this place I tried to work with them because they close to my house but ever since they re did the place and got rid of receptionists the new one is horrible and I will order food no more I paid for a delivery and after nearly 2 hours I didn’t get no phone call I called and they claimed they called and I never received a call instead of confirming what number she supposedly wrote she quickly says the number you gave me like I wrote it in a paper for her meanwhile I never had this problem before until they got this new person and I’m done with them food is extremely cold so I have to throw it in the garbage and re order somewhere else
