Brenner’s Steakhouse is one of our favourite restaurants. This is where you should go if you fancy a perfectly cooked meat. It is an upscale steakhouse and very popular. Nice vibe. Quite intimate seatings. Service was excellent. The last time we were there, we ordered a fillet mignon and a lamb rack. The meat were so succulent and cooked to perfection. We had desserts too. My bread pudding was delicious as usual. Highly recommended!

The service was superb. The food was perfect. The server Joseph was FANTASTIC. I will definitely be back.

They checked all the boxes, food was great, service was phenomenal, definitely a contender as one of the best steak houses in Houston.

Really enjoyed this place. Nice variety of offers in the menu, not just hard-core steaks (although you probably come here for those). Great service, even at a $50 a steak restaurants standard. Food we got was really good, both soups, steak and the veal schnitzel. Definelty recommend this place

I've always heard about this place and have seen it along the I-10 too many times to count as I commuted to Houston. My company had a private event and the food and service was excellent! The mini steak kabobs were tender and the shrimp appetizers were nice as well. The main course, 8 oz filet was cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend it !!!

Went for my friend’s birthday dinner and we all loved it! Ambiance was great and our server was awesome! Food was delicious and please add lobster into your mashed potatoes! It was off menu and great!

Perfect place for special occasions or dates. Pictures won't do the place justice, you need to visit it. Great food, strong drinks, tasty appetizers, perfectly cooked stakes. Leave some space for the strudel😋. Reservations highly recommended.

Came for my birthday. Never been a big steak person but wanted to go to a steakhouse & try good quality steaks & experience a different type of environment rather than typical chain restaurants. The environment/ server were amazing. The quality of steak and flavor was 20/10. best steak I had & the sides were very good too. It came out in a timely manner. I really enjoyed my visit here and will definitely be back and recommend!

This was my second time at Brenner's Steakhouse, and it was just as great if not better than the last time! My wife took me out for an early birthday lunch, and they just so happened to have A5 wagyu as a special daily cut! The steak was seasoned well, and cooked accordingly! The flavor, texture and even the au jux was on point! If you have the funds definitely splurge a bit and enjoy! The staff was phenomenal, the sides were perfect, we had the creamed spinach and lobster Mac and cheese, and my wife had the snake river wagyu filet which was great as well! Unfortunately I forgot to snap a picture of the sides and her steak but I did snap a few other pictures of my steak, the daily card and the desserts! Thank you Brenner's and thank you Landry's for making my Birthday that much more fulfilling!

Came here for our 10th wedding anniversary December 5, 2018. Ordered a filet and German fried potatoes. Melt in your mouth delicious!! Romantic atmosphere! One of my favorite restaurants since I first came here in 1968 for senior prom!! Wonderful service!!

A great night to be outside!! Our tender filets were like butter and seasoned perfectly! While the service was good, our companion did not read the details on the special market cuts and our sweet server was ever so smooth suggesting he try one. When the bill came, he was surprised to find his similar sized steak was more than three times the charge of ours. Ask the details when dining because clarity is kind and might prevent heart palpitations!!

Everything was prepared to perfection. Beautifully plated and well executed dishes. We tried a bit of everything on the menu and nothing disappointed!

most excellent meal. never disappoints! Amanda was an amazing server! filet, traditional, delicious! The brussel sprouts were good, but I prefer them crispy. German potatoes are good, nice and crispy. I definitely recommend the crab cake appetizer!

This was our anniversary dinner 4-27-24 at this location we sit outside and our server was the best 100% the man not to mention the chef cooking was bomb straight fire. We had steak and lobster along with wagu and quail. This was an amazing experience for us thanks guys.

It feels like escaping the city with out having to leave. Weather you come day or night, take time to enjoy the peaceful outdoor garden. No matter what you select the food will be amazing. I visited on Good Friday so the crabcakes, bang bang shrimp & veggie pasta were a must! All though every plate the cought a glimpse was mouth watering! Cheers🍸

This was an absolutely fantastic place for dinner. I was looking specifically for a steakhouse that also had plenty of non-steak options, with a nice outdoor patio to take advantage of the weather, and Brenner's ticked off all the boxes. The service before I even arrived was great. I booked online the day before requesting the patio, which wasn't guaranteed because it can also be booked for private events. On the day of just as I was going to call them to confirm, they called me first and let me know the patio was available. Food was amazing and also importantly very filling (none of the tiny portions you might expect from a high-end restaurant). I had the herb-crusted seabass which was rich and delicious. My boyfriend had the center-cut filet mignon which he said might be the best steak he's ever had. French fries were also good and made to our preferences. Apple strudel was also amazing. I can't say enough nice things. Our friendly waiter James was great; he checked in on us often and was very informative on wine choices and the specific cuts and types of steak. The patio was gorgeous and scenic with a water wheel and pond, which gave a nice ambiance. Everyone who worked there was so courteous. If you're looking for a nice, delicious dinner where you will be treated like royalty, I highly recommend Brenner's Steakhouse. I will definitely be back.

Came here for the first time for a birthday dinner and it was excellent. I've been a Westside Houstonian my entire life and have driven by Brenners countless times, I'm glad I finally stopped in. It's a charming little place with excellent service and an amazing outdoor space you would never have guessed was there just by driving by. The food was excellent - steak, chicken fried steak, sides, wine and cocktails were all fabulous. Will definitely be back!

This is SO worth the money. Apps were great. Got a combo of 3 apps: crab cakes (yummy!) Waygu skewers and goat cheese. Did not disappoint. The bacon jam is where it's at! Best lobster bisque I've ever had. Specials are phenomenal. Steak was delicious. Servers are on top of things. Courtyard is beautiful and great for Pics. 10/10

This was my first time at this location and everything was superb. Easy to make reservation online. We came here for a group dinner for Houston Restaurant Week. Service was excellent and attentive. This place has an intimate ambience and their outdoor area was beautiful. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly to my liking. We also opted for the lamb as well. The portion was perfect and went well with the mashed potatoes. After dinner, we checked out the outdoor area and loved the set up of nature. Overall, I would recommend this place for a nice fine dining experience.

Team dinner we chose this place and we all loved it!! Food choices are exceptional and Brenner’s offers non-steak choices like an amazing red snapper plus the lobster bisque was one of the best!! Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful! Definitely coming back

Eating here was quite the experience. What an amazing place to celebrate something. We came with a group of friends and everyone loved what they ordered, including the drinks. The service was out of this world. Every time someone got up, our waiter Chris came back and did a different art with our napkins, so much fun! He was very knowledgeable about the menu, all the meats and the history of the restaurant. They have an open area that looks absolutely stunning, too bad it was too cold to be out. I’ll definitely come back when it’s warmer to enjoy that area. Just a fyi, the price range is high. But worth every penny.

Perfect atmosphere for a relaxing experience with top notch eats and drinks. The only thing not well done was our steak… because who eats a well done porterhouse? My wife and I very much enjoyed our anniversary evening at Brenner’s Steakhouse. We will definitely be coming back.

My hunny surprised me with this place for our anniversary and we absolutely LOVED IT! The restaurant is small but it is so private and nice, they cater to you to the max. The outside is so freaking beautiful, if it wasn't so hit I would have loved to sit outside but we sat inside and everything was great. Our server was amazing and very sweet. The food came out at the perfect time and so did our drinks. Indulgence at it's finest is all I can say. We will be back.

A-mazing. Each time I have dinner here it's always better than the last. Our servicer, Amanda was knowledgeable, courteous and just precious. She even named a dish after me which was sweet. Next time you have dinner here ask for the "Talia" it's the Snake River fillet topped with seared goat cheese. I can't say enough of about the food, and service at Brenner's. Just fantastic and my go to steakhouse.

I brought my girlfriend, her two sons, and my son for what she thought was just a special dinner, but I ended up proposing to her that evening. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The service was attentive, warm, and genuine without ever feeling overbearing. The food was absolutely outstanding, perfectly cooked steaks, flavorful sides, and everything beautifully presented. Every detail of the evening was flawless, and the team at Brenner’s played a big part in making such a meaningful moment even more special. This place has a gorgeous atmosphere, top notch service, and delicious food! It’s been 24 years since my previous dining experience for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. In 2000, reviews and social media weren’t available, so I’m excited I finally get to review this place! The picturesque restaurant is perfect for celebrating big events or just a night out for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. Having done both of these, I can say I was exceptionally pleased with both of my experiences. Even though my first experience was 24 years ago, it was very memorable. We sat in the main dining area next to a large window which was perfect for viewing the lavish courtyard. My first time there was during the afternoon in the month of May. Everything was great. Our service for a table of 9 was first class. The courtyard was so well maintained and makes you feel like you’re in a different country. It is absolutely the prettiest restaurant scenery in Houston! My second time to Brenner’s was at night, also in the month of May. I figured I wouldn’t get as much of a view since it was dark outside, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The courtyard was illuminated with beautiful string lighting to see all the waterfalls, greenery, and pathways. I can’t express enough how lovely the space is and how much I enjoyed it. I’m sure the courtyard has seen its share of proposals. It’s exactly what a woman imagines and the backdrop would be perfect for photographing the memorable moment. We sat in the bar area for a drink and to split a couple appetizers. The service was fantastic. Both servers behind the bar were friendly and fun. They make a great Old Fashioned! We ordered the crab cake and the Bang Bang Rock shrimp. I’ve never been a huge crab cake fan, until now! That was the best crab cake I’ve ever had, hands down! We ordered it because the bartender said it was the best in town and he was right! I always order crab cakes hoping to find one I like, but I’ve been unsuccessful until now. The bite sized shrimp appetizer was also very good. Nice crisp and a light sauce. I would order both items again. Brenner’s sells cigars and even has a cigar menu. This place is swanky but also low key. You’ll see women in cocktail dresses, but also women in jeans; men in suits, but also men in jeans. I wouldn’t advise showing up in shorts and flip flops, but you don’t have to be dressed to the nines. Expect to spend more than a regular night (or day) out, but know you’ll remember the experience fondly, and you’ll feel it was totally worth it!

There are great steakhouses, and then there's Brenner’s. I travel to Houston frequently for work, and surprisingly, this was my first time dining here. All I can say is: wow. What an experience!!! From the perfectly cooked steak to the exceptional wine selection and inviting ambiance, everything exceeded expectations. But the true standout of the evening was our server, Amanda. If management is reading this, you have an absolute gem on your team. Amanda exemplifies what outstanding customer service should look like. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made sure my coworkers and I enjoyed every bite. And as if that wasn't enough, Brenner’s also offers a fantastic cigar selection that you can enjoy on their serene back patio—paired with your favorite bourbon (or Scotch if you’re into that kinda thing). I cannot wait to go back!

I've been to this place twice and it's incredible. The food is high-quality and well-prepared, and the service is excellent. I came here for two wedding anniversaries.

Excellent steak and 5 star service. The filet was undercooked but they got it right after they cooked it up a bit more. The flavor was great. But the lamb medallions and the apple desert stole the show. Might be back to visit next year.

Perfect evening for my 36th anniversary. Had a tasty filet and sat outside with my bride. But the best part of it was actually our waiter, George Wolf. He was crazy professional, courteous and killed us with service the entire evening.

Incredible calm and relaxing fine dining right off the Katy Freeway. The four of us made reservations a few days in advance and were seated right on time and were walked through the amazing gardens. The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable regarding the drink and food menus. The Old Fashioned was excellent and had just the right amount of "smokiness" to it. Bravo! I ordered the Seared Goat Cheese, 14oz New York Strip, and the creme brulee, which were all top tier and HIGHLY recommended. My wife had the Gulf Red Snapper and liked it, but didn't love it. She thought it was a little over cooked. All in all, we had an amazing time at an amazing steakhouse. Definitely one of my faves in the Greater Houston Area. Thank you for the experience!

The oldest steak house in Houston is the claim… All I know is that it is in fact one of the best steakhouses in Houston! The service is somehow better than the food. I’ll be back because of the people and then enjoy the incredible steak! A++++++++

Food was amazing, service was great. Shrimp cocktail comes with only 3 shrimp which was an odd number to me. The bread they bring you was not my favorite. It was almost like big croutons. Those are minor critiques for a nice experience overall!

Second time me and our family visit one restaurant of this, the first time we meet the location close by buffalo bayou and the 2 time they give us the service same result, 5 stars service definitely, Rebeca our waiter in this location was just exceptional even when they don’t have one of the drinks ℹ request she recommended something to me which meet all my expectations and about the food we have no words everything was top notch means my family enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service in the best way. I will definitely recommend this place without hesitation and we will definitely come back. P.d. Try the espresso Martinez at the end you will not regret it.

Amazing steaks! This place or just amazing. The wine list is pretty exhaustive, so much to choose from. The desserts were sweet and tasty. We sat inside for mains then moved outside for dessert. The outside area is so peaceful and the sound of the flowing water. This is an amazing steak house.

Excellent service, great drinks and absolutely delish food. Hubby and I were celebrating our Anniversary, had a few drinks at the bar to start. Enjoyed great conversation with bar tender and other guests. Then had a fantastic meal of Filet and crab cake with Brussel sprouts and baked potato. Of course, finished with dessert and coffee. Wonderful experience, thank you Brenners for making my evening special. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The fine steak dining the way it should be done. All the food tastes excellent. I had the 6oz fillet with exotic mushrooms and Cognac peppercorn sauce. Ruby our waitress was attentive and quick with our orders. Make sure you order an extra carrot cake to take home.

Much better than Taste of Texas, and I absolutely love the outdoor section. Classy and cozy at the same time with a great selection of seafood, steaks, and cocktails. Jenna was a great, she took incredible care of us and absolutely deserves a FAT raise A$AP!

Last minute decision for my wife and I to get a steak. Taste of Texas waitlist was too long so we decided to try this place. The steaks, salad, and dessert were fantastic. That made up for first impression, being denied a table for being a clean cut gentleman wearing shorts and not "long pants." This is Texas, y'all.

Great wine list, amazing steaks, fantastic sides. Had the Texas Ribeye with exotic mushrooms and garlic butter. Was a melt in your mouth experience. Recommend the appetizer sampler if you have a party of 4 or more. Smoked bacon, lamb chop, crab cake, fried lobster all were terrific.

The food was phenomenal as always but our server Amanda was absolutely superb. She was so knowledgeable on everything we asked about, and didn't make us feel awkward for needing the extra education on steaks we'd never ordered before. We requested with a manager to have Amanda be our server, if available, in the future.

We went to Brenner’s on a Monday evening for my wife’s birthday. I thought the restaurant on a Monday would be half full or less but it was very busy and it seemed every table was occupied. We had a really great server, Amanda, who we enjoyed talking with and who loves her job. I got the short ribs which were tender and had a delicious sauce and my wife got a filet. We got sides of broccolini and ribeye mac and cheese and finished with apple strudel with ice cream to go for a perfect birthday dinner!

We truly enjoyed my birthday dinner here. Everything is as you would expect from a prime steakhouse. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Amanda is one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had in my life. She loves her job and takes care of everything. I would come back for her alone.

Celebrated my 26th birthday today! Ms. Rebecca was so kind and thoughtful. She even went out of her way to take pictures of my boyfriend and I. The food was exceptional. The manager also came by the table and made sure we were having a good experience. Definitely would come back for another occasion.

Today my family and I enjoyed our Thanksgiving day meal at Brenner’s. Everything that we ordered was absolutely spectacular ! My wife had the chicken with the beef tenderloin while my daughter and I both chose the 10 oz. filet migmon for our meals. We had an assortment of side dishes such as Cajun creamed corn, roasted mushrooms, and very well made mashed potatoes. The quality of the food was as if God’s own angels were responsible for preparing such perfect delicacies. Our waiter, Rashid, was so professional and quite the gentleman that he must have been professionally trained. He tended to us in such a way that was very detail oriented but gentle and friendly. We felt very welcomed and he made us feel like he was so happy to serve us. We will definitely ask for him to be our waiter in the future . The restaurant is very comfortable where we had our meals and the patio garden where we enjoyed our desert made for a very happy and memorable experience . I have lived in the area since 1983 and have driven past this establishment hundreds of times over the decades but never dined here until today and I am shocked to now know what I have been missing .

The food was good but there was a little bit of a wait before we received our entrees. I would assume that was due to it being Father's Day, so that's cool. There were 10 of us and we all had different meals, but we all agreed, it's not a restaurant that we have to go back to. I would love to check out their cigar area one evening though. The ambiance was nice especially outside. A really nice place for a date or corporate celebration. Also, they only allow you to receive 1 check. So have your calculators ready. And the server doesn't separate the items on the check by party, we hated this!

The only reason for the four stars is that nowhere on their website or Google does it state that sandals for men are not acceptable. Even when I booked online using their reservation system, again, it didn’t say anything. A little frustrating, considering we were traveling and celebrating my wife’s birthday and always respect dress codes or suggested apparel. Now the food, ridiculous! All of our steaks were cooked to perfection, three fillets, two Oscar, and one with the mushroom sauce. We added mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts, which are enough for roughly 4 people. I had the Snake River filet and it was 🔥🔥🔥. After our meal, the attached picture happened. That’s 12 layers, count them, of magic. Little crispy pearl things, hardened chocolate, fresh fruit, espresso ice cream and that amazing frosting. Top it off with a little gold leaf and a chocolate logo, absolutely wonderful.

Birthday dinner for a friend. Delicious Pineapple Sage cocktail, highly recommend. The lollipop chops were a bit tough but the Salmon, snapper and center cut fillet were delicious. Great cappuccino and wonderful desserts. The Beef Steak Tomato salad, winner.

Birthday celebration.. we ordered ribeye, snapper, lamp chops and chicken fried beef. Sides were tasty and generous portions. Overall service was okay/good. Dinner presentation was good

First time at this restaurant. Service from Rebecca was fantastic and the rest of the staff providing great support. The food was great! We had lamb lollipops, poke, quail, and lobster bisque. It was all great. Ambiance was good during the day but wonder if it would be dark at night due to all the wood on the walls. Back garden is a beautiful oasis. I say give it a try!

I visited Brenner’s Steakhouse for their $55 Houston Restaurant Week menu and left impressed. The atmosphere is more “old money cozy” than overly pretentious, which I really enjoyed. The three-course menu started with fresh bread and a mixed green salad. Simple but well done. The main highlight was the steak, served with mashed potatoes. It also came with a cognac peppercorn sauce, but honestly, the steak was so flavorful on its own that it didn’t need it. The mashed potatoes were fresh and perfectly buttered. I added a side of mac and cheese to compare it to other steakhouses; it was cheesy but not my favorite. Dessert was a cheesecake, good, but not particularly memorable. Overall, the steak was the star of the meal, and for $55, I think the Restaurant Week menu is absolutely worth it.

Heard lots of recommends on Brenner. Went for group party of +10ppl, sat outside during south's fall so comfortably pleasant but a leaf or 2 may fall to your table. Large group so service was exceptional. Young lady lead her team with ease. Mignon tender, Salmon ok maybe missing a garlic sauce of sort.

Probably one of the most delicious steaks I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and truly memorable. The sides were excellent, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. We had to sit outside, and it was a bit warm, but even that didn’t take away from the experience. Highly recommend — an amazing meal all around.

Classic! Never fails to please. A staple of the Houston steakhouse scene! Exactly what you asked for in a steakhouse presented exactly as you would expect! You cannot go wrong with this choice. I have been here many times before. It never fails to disappoint. Either for a business lunch or a birthday dinner, for the first time or repeated time again, your mouth will water in anticipation. The mashed potatoes were amazing. Pro tip. Ask for some truffle butter to slather onto them always and added extra flavor. Do not sleep on the bourbon peppercorn sauce. It is a delight either on the side or on your steak as it was this time on one of my parties steaks. My steak this time wasn't cooked to my order. While it was rare, it was not actually served black and blue. It was still delicious and this place is still highly recommended. The lobster mac and cheese while usually overflowing with lobster I found lacking. This I can actually understand because it's available upon request. Cannot find much wrong with any of the food really. Only a few nitpicky things but with a restaurant of this caliber pushing for the higher marks and as old and respected as I hold this restaurant, sadly I have to expect perfection. It is literally almost to that five-star rating and the service definitely tries to pull it there and on a busy evening of a Monday night. Honestly, it can be expected to take a little bit to get a hold of your server. As there are a lot of things going on so I tend to cut them a little bit of slack. Not many restaurants can be that busy on a Monday evening! I do recommend making a reservation. So this place is always worth a taste!

The service was excellent also it’s very beautiful outside. The food was not the greatest, ultimately that’s why we go to a restaurant. I tried the red snapper and it was lacking flavor.

The redfish was so small, I thought it was an appetizer. This place is so overpriced for the food you get. Taste of Texas Steakhouse is the one to go to. There were so many managers walking about but none checked on us. It was our first time and our last dining there.

The waiter, Roberto, was extremely impersonable, and did not make this a good experience for us. He spoke very quickly and definitely did not give us a Brenner’s Steakhouse quality service. We felt rushed through our meal. My wife and I go to Brenners several times a year, however this will be our last. Also, we ordered 3 appetizers. The crab cake, the bacon, and the firecracker shrimp. They put all three appetizers on one plate very close together where they were touching. All the sauces mixed together. Our $30 crab cake had firecracker sauce on it. How is this ok? The 10oz filet we ordered was just ok. The meat quality was poor compared to other steakhouses of this quality.

My husband and I went to Brenner's Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation for Saturday night at 8:15 PM. We arrived on time, dropped our car key by the valet and were seated. So far so good. We were supposed to get a bread and butter which was never brought to us after 3 times of our server checking with the kitchen. We ordered an appetizer, 2 meals, and 2 drinks, without wasting any time in between. We were about to finish eating the main coarse when the valet person showed up by our table with our key in hands saying that "sorry I need to leave", it was 10:15 PM. My husband and I stared at each other wondering why he couldn't leave the key by the front booth. We ended up tipping $20 for just someone holding our key for 2 hours. (Hey Brenner's if you cannot hire a valet that can be present when your guests are leaving, why do you offer a valet service?). Then as we had mentioned in the reservations and confirmed verbally with our server that that night we were celebrating my birthday, no complementary cakes was brought to us (even Olive Garden brings complimentary cake and sings for you!). We went ahead and ordered a cake and a drink to finish my birthday celebration. Finally, in the check we received, restaurant hadn't even taken care of the ordered desert! Any how, when the server brought the check asked if we want to be a Landry's member, and as we had intention of doing that after being to Landry's restaurants several times, we requested the membership form, but that was never brought to our table. Long story short, not only that night I didn't feel being special, but was resentful to waste $300+ for such a terrible experience. Please do yourself a favor and choosing a restaurant that would provide a service that is worth your money not this one. The food was okay, nothing special, and the sides were salty. We went to the restaurant excited to try some steaks. We spent quite some time choosing our dishes carefully. Unfortunately, after our meal, we ended up spending $200 and, sadly, we’re now dealing with food poisoning. It’s gotten to the point where not just the dinner, but also blood, is coming up. This has been an extremely unpleasant experience, and we cannot recommend this place.

DAY-OLD FOOD, WORST SERVICE EVER. We ordered Thanksgiving dinner, to be picked up at noon ON Thanksgiving. This date/time slot was confirmed when we placed the order. Their website clearly states that they are open on Thanksgiving. On the day before Thanksgiving, they call my husband at work and tell him he needs to come pick up the food right away. He told them our pickup was for Thanksgiving Day. Oh, no, the woman says -- we're closed tomorrow. According to their website, they will be open and serving dinner in the restaurant on Thanksgiving. He pointed that out and asked if something had gone wrong. No, she said, we were always going to be closed for Thanksgiving. This was clearly a lie (or else the lie is what's on the web site), but they already had our credit card, so he had to leave work and race over there to pick up the food, and we will have a day-old meal -- basically soggy leftovers -- with brown, wilted salad for Thanksgiving. We ordered from Brenner's last year and had a good meal, picked up ON Thanksgiving. Next year, we will most definitely order elsewhere, and I suggest you do the same. There are too many other good restaurants in this city to put up with that kind of service.

I saw this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try with my family. We weren’t aware of how small the space was, but that was totally fine—it actually added to the charm. The food was amazing, and we had a wonderful dinner. That said, we couldn’t help but notice something that felt a little off. We were the only Black people there, and while the manager made a point to walk by and speak to every white guest, he didn’t acknowledge us or say a word. It may have been unintentional, but it stood out and made us feel overlooked. We hope this was just an oversight, and not reflective of how guests of color are typically treated here, because the food and atmosphere really are worth the visit.

If I could leave 0 or negative stars I would. Its really sad because the place is really beautiful. Too bad its the only thing this place has going for it. I have NO IDEA how they have lasted as long as they have. My husband and I went to an early dinner (3:30/4) for our 19 year anniversary. The hostess was friendly enough, but our waitress was THE ABSOLUTE WORST EVER! Granted, we were not dressed in our 5 star attire, but by no means did we look homeless...yet we were definitely treated like 2nd class citizens. All of the other tables we heard her greet with a .." celebrating anything special "..." the chef has some specials"...etc. We didn't get that. I had to ask for lemon for my water 3 separate times. She recommended the crab cake. Gross. Eddie V's and Gordon Ramsay's has them beat hands down. We also listened to her recommendation for the special steak cut. Wrong again. It in fact did not melt like butter and it was overcooked. The manager came over for a brief moment and acted surprised that we had any complaints, and the only thing offered was a new steak cooked how it should have been in the first place. We have been to several fine dining establishments all over houston and this THE WORST! I could have had a better steak at Waffle House. Do yourself a favor and celebrate somewhere else where they make you feel a little special. Every other place gives you a dessert with a message or even a card. Might I suggest Turners Cut, Mortons, Steak 48, hell...even Outback has a better steak and service. I should have taken my $200 to the casino, chances were better than here.

Honestly, great food and very nice server. HOWEVER, upon our arrival the hostess told us they only allow for an hour and a half reservation time and that we would have to be leaving at a set time. We were rushed to order, rushed to eat (our server literally took our plates away before I was finished eating), and asked if she could bring the check as she placed the dessert menu on our table. I’m extremely disappointed we chose this for our anniversary dinner (which was not recognized or acknowledged in any way, shape or form - I’m not asking for a free dessert or anything but even a “happy anniversary and thank you for choosing us to spend your evening with” would suffice). I cannot fathom how a “fine dining” establishment would have such a horrible spacing for tables. We often spend 2-3 hours enjoying drinks and quality time, and if we wanted to be in and out of a restaurant we would be going to a factory of cheesecakes or a red bird restaurant…
