Love getting the food here. The other day, a customer through the drive had a dog, and it was not properly trained. Tonya did her best. That customer called about the situation, and I was standing watching everything. That dog needs to be trained better. It's not the workers' fault. Thanks for doing your best, Tonya. It's always a pleasure to get food from this location.

My second trip in the last month. I had to make a return stop just to see if maybe the first experience at this particular Braum's Ice Cream & Burger Restaurant wasn't a rare moment and much to my Burger & Shake happiness it was not. WOW what a great burger I ordered the #5 again with the upsized Shake and fries. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The staff were all very busy and working to process orders the drive through was full when I pulled in and after entering and stepping to the counter you could see the efficiency at which each person was performing his or her given task even a young lady obviously training another young person the position they were overseeing. the dinning room was clean and even as I pulled the last napkin from a dispenser it and other items were being restocked. I washed up in the men's room prior to eating and it was neat and tidy. I made it a point to browse the small market before leaving and was suprised at the quality and selection available at such a venue. This Braum's Ice Cream & Burger Restaurant is super I Loved It. I had never been to a Braum's Ice Cream & Burger Restaurant before this last month although now on my travels if there is a Braum's then that's where I'll be getting my Burger. The manager of this store should be given a nice Ataboy or Atagirl for job very well done.

I went to this location on a very hot night. There were lots of cars in the drive-thru and we decided to park our car and get in to order our ice creams. To my surprise, we didn't even have to wait for one minute when we already had someone taking our orders and we were out in five minutes...

Aug 14, 2025 Still my all time favorite ice cream place. I wish we had them in Austin! I should add a picture, but my malt doesn't last long, I start drinking it the minute it is in my hand! Yum My favorite ice cream place! Every time I am in North Texas I ALWAYS get a chocolate malt. Usually on my way into town and the last thing I do before I leave town!

I'm not gonna lie, I'd probably risk a minor fender bender in the parking lot just to get my hands on some Braum's. This isn't just an ice cream joint; it's a summer evening phenomenon, especially here in Mesquite! You can tell by the sheer volume of cars every single night. It's like the entire city has decided that a scoop (or three) of whatever deliciousness Braum's is serving is the only way to cap off a hot day. The staff here must be superheroes to handle that kind of organized chaos with a smile, and honestly, every single time, they nail it. Worth every single calorie and every glorious second of that bustling, beautiful queue. My only regret? Not getting a second scoop.

The burgers taste amazing. My go to is the #1. They taste amazing - the patty is full of flavor. The workers are great. Their energy is super friendly and always has a good attitude (from my experience). It’s no wonder why this place is popular. It’s so good and has the best ice cream and banana splits.

Wonderful I feel in love with their frozen yogurt cones I love the chocolate my granddaughter got the vanilla is is awesome also. They have very good burgers also better then Sonic. And Sonic have some excellent burgers so that's saying allot. They sell milk and other groceries also.

This Braums is THE BEST Braums in all the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area! Hands down! They are always properly/well staffed. The employees do a great job keeping up when it's slammed. They keep the bathrooms clean. The soda pop area clean, the tables & floors clean. The food is always correct and proper. I've been to almost every Braums in the Dallas area and quit a few on the Ft. Worth side, and this one is in my top 3 easy. Their prices are still reasonable overall as well, speaking about Braums fast food & ice cream, that is.

We had so many great experiences with this Braum's that day including Quick Service and the ability to customize our sundaes. We also needed some pink lemonade for an event at church and they have the best pink lemonade!

This Braums location is needs a bit of work. It needs a good cleaning, the parking lot is small and cluster fukd. It’s always crowded and the way it is set up makes it where other people will bump into you when it’s busy. It the service has always been good and fast. The icecream is always good.

My son had a craving for a chicken sandwich. This was his first time trying one from Braums. He loved it. My daughter had a craving for ice cream instead - pictured is the 2 scoop birthday cake. It was perfect!

Always great customer service. Kristen was at the window giving awesome service, when a customer in front of me was being very rude and holding up the line because they felt they should be allowed to give their order at the window. The customer blamed Kristen for the order not being taken at the window. Kristen never stopped smiling and greeting every car even though they were busy as usual. Service is terrible. I go there every week for the 9 Grain Bread. They usually don't have anyone working the bread/icle cream area for us to checkout. I have waited for over five minutes to be able to pay. More than half of the time they don't have the 9 Grain Bread. I have talked with both the Manager and the Assistant Manager about the problem. Nothing has changed. If you want a burger or an ice cream they are there to help. If you want to buy groceries they just don't seem to care about service.

Lines were long but moving fast. Employees were very friendly, helpful and courteous. Four stars because the dining room was dirty. Very family friendly.

I love Braum's! This is the only location near me. I don't visit too often but the times I do, I have a good experience. My burger and sundae are always delicious. They did forget to add jalapeños to my jalapeño pepperjack burger once but it wasn't a problem for me to ask for them. You can't expect too much from a place that employs students.

This has always been my favorite ice cream shop since I was a kid. I have never seen Braum's so busy. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Thank goodness they had lots of people working. The employees were friendly and most of them very young. The huge mess behind the counter makes me question the cleanliness of the store itself.🫣 I'm hoping it was just an unusually busy afternoon. My favorite jalapeno burger was soggy and was not spicy. French fries were good. Since this is a first not complaining too much. There was a long line and the got us through quick. I only do fast food burgers once a month so was a bit bummed.

Customer service was well above average and the wait in line was less than 2 minutes. The ice cream is "heavenly" and very reasonable compared to Dairy Queen and it tastes much better.

I am going to be honest, I had a lovely time with my family, but I saw the nastiest thing ever. There were Flys swarming around the food while people cooked and noticed one land on someone's ice cream. The worker just shewed it off and didn't even bother to replace the ice cream or inform the customer what happened. I will however say that I payed CLOSE ATTENTION to the making of my ice cream and it tasted good! I recommend being very ATTENTIVE at all times.

They really need to build another one in Mesquite, there is always long lines people always trying to cut in front of you and that’s both in drive thru and inside. They are pretty quick and are friendly and kind. They usually never mess up an order.

I've been multiple times over the last few months and ordered the same double dip cone with 2 flavors and not once has it been correct. Don't want to be a jerk but I'm not sure how a cone with two scoops is defeating employees that badly...

Good food, nice experience, but being served completely in plastic disposable kills the experience, like the plastic spoons bending in half and almost snapping to eat the ice cream. There's no reason glass and metal utensils can't be used.

The food was already, I got a burger but it was pretty bland. The ice cream was delicious, as always. There were 2 female employees that seemed to have a really bad attitude though, it seemed to bother them when I asked for ketchup packets while they were talking and laughing with each other by the cash register. The reason I even had to ask for ketchup packets was because there was a ton of fruit flies all over the section where the ketchup and sodas were. That's what bothered us the most, the trash was full so it attracted so many flies while we ate.

The ice cream is good but an employee here was extremely rude. Her name was Tina, she had an attitude a whole time and made me feel rushed. The place in not very clean either.

Honestly it was decent. The filet mignon and flank steak were the best thing here and the lobster bisque. The meat was mostly over cooked and the chicken/pork was dry… for the money I would much rather go to Fogo de Chão…

Just left the drive thru and I ordered a banana split and I noticed the car in front of me returned a banana split, so I asked Netta in the window was that the same one that car returned and she proceeded to get smart and say: omg don't start that mess. Teach your employees how to talk to paying customers. She could've simply replied no, it's not the same, all the extra wasn't necessary. If I wouldn't have asked and just contacted the Health Department then I would've been in the wrong.

I ordered 2 crispy chicken sandwiches and was SO excited for it. We had to wait an extra 5 minutes for them which was a little longer than 5 minutes. We get home and I have a burger with onions and jalapenos. My mom has a triple patty burger and there is NO CHICKEN!! I am so disappointed. Whoever has my chicken I hope you enjoy it.

This place is filthy! The tables and the glass doors to the ice cream freezers were absolutely disgusting! They were wiped down with dirty dish rags. Smears everywhere! Won’t ever be going to this location again. I told the manager and he just shrugged his shoulders. 🙄

I ordered a large recees mix when I got to the window they gave me a small and it wasn’t reeses either, I told the guy at the window that I ordered a large and he said that was the large and that it was Reese’s and he proceeded to give me a really nasty look. I had ordered a dr pepper freeze and a burger with no pickles, but the staff had given me cold food and a vanilla freeze, when I mentioned it to them they microwaved my food??? and didnt acknowledge the fact i had ordered a dr pepper freeze. The lack of service is terrible and the staff needs to be reprimanded, why am i spending money on crappy food that i didnt ask for?

The service and quality of food were both pretty bad. Despite there being 10+ workers inside with over half not actively working on a project and standing directly at the counters, it took well over a minute to be acknowledged and it was not very friendly. When our order was ready one of the staff thought it would be amusing to scream the number out and leave it sitting on the counter. It honestly startled me and I was standing at the counter waiting, so it’s not like I wasn’t paying attention. The shake was good as always, but the food had no flavor.

WORST LOCATION AND RUDE EMPLOYEES! Lady at the window tried to hand me my order wrong 3 times. I corrected her the first time and got her attitude and tried to charge me extra for what I had already paid for then noticed I was right. Handed it to me a second time then got even more upset when I told her it was still wrong. Then the 3rd time I said whatever and took my order. It's not hard to follow directions. A grown woman walking around with an attitude of a 3 yr old.

Not happy I took my son to have a burger and ice cream. My son bite his burger and made a face. I checked his burger and the bun was not toasted it was dark burnt. Too cooks can easily see this when they put ketchup on it.

Spent about $26 in just ice creams and sundaes.Asked for extra cherries on one of the sundaes. The ticket stated no cherries which I had not seen until I was pulling up to the other window. When upon arrival to the 2nd window the ladies were too busy to acknowledge us and were just talking after a few minutes one of them just opens the window and hands me a large shake and closed the window without even looking at me. When she finally was un busy from her interesting conversation and is about to hand me the rest of my order i ask her about the extra cherries and even offered to pay for the difference just in case there was a misunderstanding and she says oh we have special instructions for extra cherries placed on orders that way Of course there were no extra cherries on the sundae. It's about a 15 min drive to this location but it sucks that you were too busy gossiping instead of doing your job to at least check my order before you confirm. Terrible service.

A Black Forest Sundae with no hot fudge?

I had a horrible experience in the drive thru on 1/16/26. The lady that gave me my food had a nasty attitude and was rude. I will not be going back to that location.

Bought a salad. An extra topping was included that I did not ask for….Yuck. In the garbage it went. What a waste of money.

I’m so made at them y’all. I don’t live in Dallas anymore but look forward to visiting. I look forward to ending my trip with my favorite double scoop strawberry shortcake sundae. I don’t eat any other treats as I look forward to my shortcake sundae. We stopped by before our 8 hour drive home and they deceived me by not adding my shortcake in the sundae. The shortcake is what makes the sundae. I couldn’t turn around because traffic was horrendous. I wanted to cry 😭. Eating the sundae without the shortcake is like eating keylime without the graham cracker crust, or eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the jelly 😫

Worst customer service at the drive through I went earlier today and they had the worst attitude one of the lady’s said “have a good night and slammed the window” she didn’t ask if I was missing or if I needed anything, and I in fact didn’t get any spoons for my ice creams when I was ordering I got rushed and at the window some employees were in a group talking instead of doing they’re job. So disappointed braums.

This review is about the burgers. I used to love going here as a kid. A while ago, I got a burger and it was fantastic. I've been back twice and the burgers had a ton of mayo and it was just horrible. I'm not sure why the quality burgers are not consistent like it used to be. Very disappointed. Update June 2021: Ordered two deluxe cheeseburgers. Insane amount of mayo. It had ketchup which it shouldn't. No onion, no lettuce, or tomato. Photo attached. I finally called about this order. They offered to replace it. The old location on Gus Thomasson was great. Not sure whats happened. I wish Flaming Burger or Keller's had a location in Mesquite.

20 associates behind the counter running around with sad sack faces on. No one tending the checkout. Messing peoples orders up. There is definitely no leadership!!!!!. No one cares and it definitely shows!!!! Place is dirty no customer service blahhh. PITIFUL!!!!

Have had problems here multiple times now whether it’s workers or the people, all rude and unprofessional. Went this morning for my PREGNANT sister because she wanted ice cream and the worker not only had some bad looking makeup but was rude and let 5 cars go ahead while we were trying to let her know we were ready to order. Ordered burgers and a salad in the drive thru. Got home and found mold all over the fruit in my salad. Called to get a refund and they said I would have to drive all the way back there to get a refund because my card needs to be present.. it’s a 20 minute drive. I asked the manager if I could just get store credit or something and they said they can’t issue anything that isn’t in person. I asked if they could refund my whole order or at least half if I drive all the way back and they told me I would have to bring all the items back. I don’t know if they didn’t believe me or what, but there was no effort to fix the situation. I even offered to send them a picture of the salad. All I wanted was for them to make this right and there was no option that didn’t cost me more money.

Tried to order a bag of burgers deluxe, with no mayo/pickles 2x through 2 separate employees. They insisted this was not existent. We were given a bag of burgers with no pickles add cheese, didn't really care as we were starving, and reluctant to have any more effort directed towards explaining to them what is on their own menu. We accidentally told the employee that was all, and then said hey sorry never mind can we also get a cherry limeade and fries. She asked us to repeat what we ordered with quite a bit of attitude (very slow Monday night, but very much were being rushed out of there). We paid, they give us the food, no fries no drink. Gave no interest in trying to fix our issue other than "is it on the receipt" Ma'am you both have the headset on. You know what we asked for multiple times. These employees were very aggravated that my partner and I pointed out a mistake. I hate being a Karen, but as someone who previously worked in fast food, it erks me that even the employees treat it like a BS job. It is still employment, you still treat people like people, and customer service is important, especially when everything is so expensive. If you're paying for it, you should get what you want.
