Sriracha lime wings steal the show. Great handmade cocktails. Not a lot of bars in this area that are worth a repeat visit but this one delivers consistently.
Bartender was excellent. Great ambiance place to get a couple craft cocktails and small plates.
Very innovative and creative cocktails! The Ladies And Gentlemen We Are In Space did my taste buds what it said☺️
The Binc is a great bar, amazing vibes, great food and bartending. Soso is one of the best!
They do happy hour unitl 7! Cocktails are 10$, beer 6$. We had a good time there. Barkeeper was really nice. Interior is cool too!
Our bartender Abdul, and his barback Liam, were so on the ball. He made wonderful drinks and cultivated a welcoming environment. We had a really wonderful evening 🖤
Daniel and Liam were amazing! These were by far the best drinks and coolest atmosphere on our NYC trip. 10/10 recommend!
It is an amazing bar to visit !! Prices are great, bartenders (especially Soso) are highly knowledgeable and sociable! Just a great place hang out!
Some of the finest hand crafted cocktails I’ve ever had. Super friendly people and a great vibe. I can’t wait to visit again.
Ugh i love this place so much. Mo and Nick made my night in ways i cant describe. The service is unreal. The cocktails are what i want to pin on my donkey. But on a serious note...most creative and delicious drinks ive ever had and the love in them is palpable.
Cool intimate spot, good drinks and great service. The steak was great with the peppercorn sauce, the flatbread was only okay. Great for a date or as a break from the heat.
I love BINC. I used to work in the neighborhood and for 5 years would go here after work for some tasty cocktails & some grub. Even on days I wasn’t working. It’s changed a bit but what doesn’t right? Lol It’s a nice cocktail bar to checkout year round.
We had a spectacular time. The drinks were off the charts, and the bartenders' service was excellent. Coming back!
Don’t know anything about the food just popped in for a drink but was not disappointed great cocktails. Knowledgeable friendly bartender would recommend.
Bartender mixed me a custom mocktail which turned out to be one of the best drinks I've ever had. Very impressed.
Small cocktail spot in brooklyn heights but the bartenders know what they're doing. Cozy and mysterious inside but the option to sit outside on a nice day ads well.
This place has dark lighting and is very cozy. The bartender is extremely professional and friendly. I told him my taste and he made me a passion fruit daiquiri that was just what I wanted. There is also an outside sitting area. I enjoyed my time there
Honestly blown away by the cocktails, honestly some of the best I have had in the city. Very kind and accommodating for a large group with no notice. Really impressed.
I love this cocktail bar. The drinks are always amazing, and the bartenders really know their stuff. If you're not sure what to get, ask for a recommendation, or just have them make you something new. I guarantee you'll enjoy it. I went last night, had a cocktail with gin, sake, sugar snap pea paste, wasabi, and mint- seems like a weird combination, but it was amazing. The food is great too.
The bartender, Soso was absolutely amazing! He made the best whiskey sour and old fashion we had in NYC! Thank you for making our night memorable! Sam and Nick (from Oregon)
Food was amazing. Always a great meal
Stopped in last night for a drink with friends and the service was fabulous (forgetting the bartenders name) but the drinks were fast and so good, particularly the "&&&&&" and the bartender was so spot on and friendly. Would definitely recommend choosing one of the many specialty cocktails and the bartender gave great rec's
Definitely a great spot for a lovely drink with charming bartenders. Mo (one of the bartenders) is the man, and was so helpful with my cocktail suggestion. Definitely coming back here again. Great spot. Not toooooo crowded, but haven't seen it empty yet. Also, not one of those too-loud-to-hear the person in front of you bars, but definitely not quiet. Altogether, a great find.
Great local bar. Quiet and classy ambience. The bartenders are attentive, social, and professional. They really make you feel welcome. Most importantly, they know how to make a proper drink.
I stopped in for drinks on Halloween and had a great time. They had decorated the whole bar and it had a spooky vibe. I tried a few cocktails off their special menu and really enjoyed them. Nicole the bartender was super helpful in describing the drinks. One of them was a take on a Trinidad sour which I didn't know existed, but using some pumpkin related ingredient. It was one of the most interesting drinks I've ever had and absolutely delicious. I also got the chance to try some of the food. I ordered a burger, medium rare, which came out perfectly cooked and delicious. I got about half way through until my girlfriend arrived and gobbled up the rest, remarking on how good it was. We also went with the meat and cheese plate which we liked. I would 100% recommend asking for extra bread because you're going to need it. It was pretty dark so I couldn't tell exactly what the cheese were but there was a salty probably Italian cheese, a milder cheese, and something what was definitely goat or sheep's milk based. The meats looked like some sopresta and maybe speck or prosciutto. Overall a solid meat and cheese plate for $21. I'll definitely be back here in the future. From the other reviews it sounds like I need to make sure to hip up happy hour, $8 for a cocktail here is a bargain.
I was in NY on a business trip and we walked to this little gem. The dinning experience was awesome. They are known for their cocktails however their small plates were delicious and lets not forget the gelato...
Fantastic drinks and food. Highlight was for certain the cocktails, good service, great atmosphere. Went on a Sunday night not too busy, on the pricier side but great to go with friends or a date.
Great bar, with even better bartenders! This is the perfect bar to grab a classy drink and quality food without all of the pretentious nonsense that other NYC haunts make you endure. Drink mixer extraordinaire Richard not only concocts a mean cocktail, but he is a total delight - he is hilarious, but also has a natural gift for anticipating his guests’ needs/wants.
Great vibe! The cocktails are creative and very unique. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. My friends and I have come here three times this week alone! Definitely recommend checking this place out.
To be honest, just talk to your bartender. Ask for his or her name. Make small talk. Tell them what you like. Peter was awesome and made just the right drinks for us. I prefer stirred and his choices of bourbon mixes made my tastebuds happy. Definitely come by and be ready to indulge. Weekday 6-7pm happy hour.
Best place to visit for service, food and money. Not only bartenders are friendly and on top of their stuff, but the atmosphere is just great! Highly recommended!
The cocktails are incredible! Strong, creative, and delicious! The ambience is also very nice. It is dark in there but that’s the ambiance. We shared a Steak Frites (we weren’t as hungry and wanted to try) it was delicious! The au poive sauce was delicious! We sat in the bar which was clean and spacious. Would definitely go back!
Don’t get food here but the drinks are amazing. Our lil bartender was cute. It was a slow night when we went and he came up to personally ask how our drinks were. Turns out he put his own spin on my amaretto sour (I won’t tell, you’ll just have to experience it yourself) and was super excited to share it. Cute intimate venue, great date spot. Again, unfortunately the food was just.. not it. I like duck and got the duck prosciutto flatbread but I made my boyfriend finish it.
This is a wonderful cocktail bar with fun and interesting named cocktails that look beautiful and taste amazing. The bartender that served me is basically an artist with the drinks. It's a small place (with outdoor seating!) and it's located on a quiet street just steps away from the Brooklyn Bridge Park and promenade. A perfect stop on a night out with friends or a cozy date. I didn't rate the food because I didn't eat anything, but if they're anything like the drinks, the food will be great too.
5/5 After attending an evening at "THE BINC", I speak for all of us when I say I will not be "THE BAC". Following a scrumptious supper at Elephant District down the way (ask for Kay; she is sure not to disappoint), I fancied a night cap before the winter storm bore down. I made my way to THE BINC expecting for a reprieve from the DUMBO gales. Little did I know --- I was the DUMBO for believing THE BINC would bring me what I needed. The interior was well-appointed and dimly lit and my heart aflutter for a sipper. The menu captivated - an array of "CRAFT COCKTAILS" and a special offering of warm drinks to revive my cold heart. With glee, I chose the "hot toddy" from the kind bartender. The drink was quickly and thoughtfully prepared, leaving me randy for a sipper. As I brought the goblet to my gullet, my heart fell. It bore an odor of armpit, exacerbated by the STEAMY temperature from which it was served. My nose quickly swelled from the odor. Not one to be deterred, I pressed on. The taste was acceptable. I must admit, dear reader, I took several minutes to finish imbibing - to complete the sipper was not an easy task with my nose becoming the sauna for the remnants of an onion gone wrong. Following my trial, I pondered another swell, but neither the lively crowd nor the well-appointed interior could keep this soiree a-churning. A less kind bartender ushered me out and I managed to squeeze to the commode before I departed - A+ for roominess and decor! All in all, THE BINC could be great but its odiferous toddy kept it just fine. Dear reader, should you attend, do not opt for the "BO" - lest you be "PO'ed" by the eighteen-dollar price point! ;)
A group of colleagues and I ventured into downtown Brooklyn and ended up at this spot. We were some of the first to arrive. Initially, it was quite dark- making it very difficult to read the menu but creating a sultry and mystique vibe. The menu in and of itself is a vibe. The cocktails are a vibe in and of themselves. The alcohol pairings leave much to the imagination, especially the imagination of this creature of habit who is stuck on margaritas. I was quite tempted to dip in this sea of interesting creations. Lucky for me, this establishment offers a “bartenders choice” option. The bartender will custom create a drink for you based on preferences in liquors and mixers or in my case- since a margarita was not on the menu, the bar tender created one for me. And babyeee…that drink DID NOT disappoint! Lost count after the third one. After this experience, every margarita will be held to a whole other standard. The food is a whole other vibe. The options are insane! I wound up with the chicken sandwich. Dee-lish! Fried chicken breast in a brioche bun with a dirty martini aioli sauce😋😋😋. Keep in mind this sandwhich is huge. Cut it in half and take the rest home for later. My friend ordered the wings. I LOVE that these wings had sauce but remained crunchy. The sauce they use is indescribable. Just out of this world Dee-lish. In fact, my friend ordered a second order. Be sure to meet Blue and Nikolai. Blue is the sweetest, friendliest, trendiest…I could keep going. Her energy is unmatched. She broke down the liquors in the shots our table received. Nothing I’ve ever tasted. Sweet and Smokey. Despite I’m not into brown tequila it caught my attention. In fact, I ordered another shot with the other half of the concoction…yummy. Nikolai- was very friendly, attentive and did his best to answer questions about the history of the building. The fellas at the bar with their beautiful beards are quite the site to behold. Very sexy. This place fills up quickly. Be sure to get there early enough to get a good seat. This place definitely does not disappoint.
My husband and I stopped in on a whim before heading back home to Jersey—and we’re so glad we did! We only had drinks, but they were absolutely extraordinary. This place is more than just a bar—it’s an experience. Watching Daniel, the bartender, craft each cocktail with such precision, skill, and grace was like watching a true artist at work. It was a phenomenal show from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!
Top-Tier Cocktails & Even Better Service The Binc is an absolute gem for cocktail lovers. The drinks were crafted to perfection—balanced, creative, and full of flavor. But what truly made the experience stand out was the bartender: incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the craft. It’s rare to find that kind of warm, personal touch these days. Whether you’re after a classic or something more adventurous, The Binc delivers with style and heart. Can’t wait to come back!
Went here Saturday night and had such a good time. Cocktails were amazing, vibe was on point, and even though it got packed, everything came out super fast. The staff was really attentive and friendly too. Just an all-around awesome place - definitely recommend it!
Nice vibe, they share a kitchen with a great Italian restaurant next door so the food is delicious and definitely a couple of levels above your typical bar menu. The lighting is comfortably dim, candles add a romantic atmosphere, music is chill and stimulating at the same time. good selection of lounge tracks hand picked by the staff and is not so loud that you cant have a conversation.. playlist is hand picked by the bartender/dj. last but not least: amazing cocktails, very creative and some are truly unique, bartender Soso is an artist and I don't ever want to go drinking anywhere else. He deserves a Michelin star. My partner and I both highly recommend that you check this place out at least once - I guarantee you will become a regular.
The cocktails, food, service and ambiance were all fantastic! I feel like we found a new neighborhood gem! The mushroom flatbread was so delicious and I will be coming back for it specifically! I also love that they serve (real good) food late! The cocktails were inventive and delicious - I had a difficult time choosing just one!
Came here as an anniversary date and made it just the tail end of happy hour. It was perfect. For main we ordered shishito peppers, grilled chicken sandwich, short rib flat bread, siracha wings, and elote fries. Everything was absolutely delicious and portion was so reasonable. The service was lovely and the space is dark and perfect for the occasion. I highly recommend this little neighborhood bar.
Super cool place with great aesthetic! Popped in for a drink after dinner down the street and it was a great choice. One friend had the bartender’s choice, another was hoping for an espresso martini and both were extremely pleased. I asked for 2 different cocktails that are a bit unusual but the bartender Soso didn’t bat an eye and made them spot on! Great vibe, great cocktails, wish I lived closer to come back more often.
Great bar! Lots of antiques making the space quaint and fun. Billy Crystal and a few of his friends were there for hours all night. Didn't order a single thing. Didn't leave bartenders or staff a tip. Was pretty funny to hear someone specially reserved a table for entire night and didn't leave a dime or order even a glass of water. No one paid any attention great bar to see locals and have a low key yet fun night out. Food and staff, bartenders are great. Know the place well and can keep you laughing with various facts about the establishment. Highly recommend.
Good drinks, especially at Happy Hour. Great ambiance. Unfortunately, food is just okay and a little too pricey for the size of the portion they serve.
Haven't been here in a while. Last time it was part of Bevacco. Cool atmosphere inside. Manhattan was very good. Great for cocktails after work 👍.
Great pre-dinner cocktails; service was very slow so we only had time for one.
This place is great. It has an 20s vibe to it, dimly lit and romantic but would also go alone for a drink too to relax. Great cocktails. I would come here all the time if I lived here.
Nice cozy small bar. Good music, good bartenders, good place. I didn't enjoy the loud customers, they were literally yelling in each other's ears. I couldn't make out the music at one point they got so loud. Hope this was a one off, for the rest it's a really nice spot
Very cozy, cocktails are good, as well as service. Food was probably better than cocktails 😅
Dropped by on a Sunday evening for some Drinks and Bites. High marks because a lot of establishments in the area close early or close their kitchen early on Sundays. Servers were friendly, attentive and made great recommendations. Tried this Elote Fries and Mushroom flatbread - both were delicious. One star off because the food is priced on the high side.
The french fries were crunchy, extensive, and yummy. It’s a perfect pair with their luscious fruity cocktails. We sat by their huge window while enjoying a good time with friends– FUN!
Excellent cocktails. Happy hour is a great deal. And the food was delicious, a perfect burger and terrific artichoke wrapped in speck. Would definitely come back here.
I think our waiter was high? Whenever we asked for something, he'd forget or just look really confused. But the chef (or at least somebody in chef's clothing) also waited on us a bit and was great. And all the food was delicious!
A great place for a date Stopped here on a Tuesday after 5:00. The cozy place has a simply wonderful atmosphere. Service was very friendly. The excellent appetizers & other light meals are provided by the adjacent Italian restaurant. The place got nearly full by 7:00. With "happy hour" the 2 vodkas, 2 beers & 2 appetizers came to $75. Quite pricey, but it still was a fun splurge.
Interesting little bar for food and drinks. The appetizers are decent, and the service is good. Seating is limited, but it is not terribly busy on weekday evenings.
Interesting Negroni options. Slightly slow service but atmosphere was nice. Music inside could be a little softer.
Here's what we ordered. Wings, Binic Burger, fries (apperantly fries don't come with burgers). What a disappointment. Food is mediocre at best. Burger had no flavor but I sure did taste the salt.. (Side note; its 10pm i haven't ate since 1pm). Wings? Tasted like what I would get from Costco frozen food. Only reason it got 3 stars is because of the hospitality, and nice atmosphere of the place.
The food was amazing, the ambiance too although the service was absolutely awful. I’m not sure if it’s because my partner and I were the only people of color in the restaurant but he was so rude. He did not offer us any sort of service and we had to go up to the bar to order our food. I’d come here again because the drinks and food were great !! but the tall white male server with brown hair was disappointing and disrespectful.
This place could be the definition of the word “quaint”. Absolutely well tailored vibes in a simple atmosphere with really nice drinks and a fine beer selection. Low lit interiors here call for a good chat and a good drink. If it wasn’t for the terrible service from part of the person in charge of the bar, this place would easily have five stars, perhaps too much of an ego can cost a lot to the overall perception of what an establishment has to offer. The barback on shift made some great cocktails for us and has a great taste. (Any opinions about the bartender are not based on any conflict, we genuinely did not feel taken care of and slapped around.) Lovely place, you should go! :D
Maybe it was because we only ordered drinks and no food but the service was not great. My wife and I ordered 2 drinks each but the wait to actually order them was rough. I asked for water twice and never got it.
Don't believe the reviews. This place is pretty bad. The food is awful and not a bargain. Definitely stay away if you're looking to eat. Drinks are solid.
Very trendy place with very personable servers. However it was SO dark we needed cell phone lights to read the menus. I like ambiance but this was heroin den dark.
Service was really slow. Gratuity is included automatically which was not disclosed and it's 22% so that explains the service. Cocktails were ok.
I’m honestly appalled. I visited this restaurant this evening and shortly after leaving my card was charged by OnlyFans which I do not visit. The only person who had my card today other than myself is the waiter. It’s a new card so no one else has had access to it since receiving.
It’s a shame, because the beer and cocktails were great. The bartender made fun of me for having a neurological disorder that causes tremors. Brought me, a grown man, to the verge of tears and made me pretty much run out. Everybody else in my group was treated like garbage by the same guy, who seemed both miserable and incredibly rude to customers. I saw at least 3 people walk out because of him. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. I didn’t do anything to warrant it, all I did is ask for another beer and he came out of nowhere with it. I won’t be back, unless the owners fire this guy. Your bar is not good enough to justify the rude staff.
To start, the menu listing was inaccurate and bartenders were smug when this was questioned. Awful service and obnoxious bartenders who think they are self righteous and that they can treat customers disrespectfully. You deserve zero stars and should be ashamed of yourselves given your disrespectful behavior towards customers who were not exhibiting rude behavior. This is the first time I've ever walked out of a bar without leaving a tip. This is due to the rude and disrespectful behavior of the staff behind the bar
We popped in for a drink while we waited for our dinner table next door. I told the waiter - 3 adults and a stroller. When we sat down, the waiter said "no babies allowed, we're a bar, who brings a baby to a bar". It was 530pm and the bar was mostly empty. He didn't have to be so rude and condescending about it.
