January 25, lunch. Today we had the prime rib and New York strip and for a minute I forgot I was even in Abilene, Texas. The kitchen staff did an amazing job, hats off to the cook who prepared our steak and the service was excellent thank you very much and welcome back!!!!
We haven't been here in awhile, but thought we'd try it. We had an order for 5. All the steaks were tender and cooked perfectly along with the salmon and a burger. Most sides were packaged separately and nicely. We were so glad everything was there, including a dozen rolls!
We were seated in booth which did not have wait staff assigned. We waited as others were served in areas near by. A young lady by the name of Tiffany came to us and took excellent care if us even tho it was not her table area. She knew we were not being served and wanted to rectify the issue. We had amazing service from Tiffany. Her kind smile, great conversation were a joy. We would come back again because if Tiffany and her caring for us. Tiffany deserves a big raise. PS the food was great and those smazing rolls Thank you Tiffany, Linda and Robert
My son brought me here for my birthday dinner. It wasn't overly crowded, and the service was impeccable! We ordered an appetizer, but our main course came out way before the appetizer did. We ordered the chicken fried steak. It was ok. A little soggy, but the rest was very good. Especially the brown gray!
Waitress was very nice, great service, steak was cooked perfectly, all around great time.
Ate at Logan’s and the food was great. Got the grilled chicken teriyaki, and it came out hot. Service was great, our waiter Haydn was very attentive and recommended the Long Island Iced Tea for my husband which was very good.
Cool calm and collected energy here the good is great service is great I come on weekdays it doesn’t appear to be busy I love there potato skins and the salmon is awesome
Grand (re) Opening of Logans. D & N were there 11pm in line. Ry, W and I showed up at 8 am. Hardin Simmons Band Serenaded us, Hardin Simmons Cheer and Military Toys for Tots were there along with Abilene Chamber of Commerce. Food was good. Great was to ensure people got their free meals next year AND made money today. Great appetizers and Steak Tips for child. Lots of fun and our waitress Krystal was Fantastic, knowledgeable and fun. We will be back.
First off our server was excellent. She was the sweetest most attentive server we've had in a long time. As for the food everything was excellent. The ribs were awesome. Great flavor, falling off the bone and perfectly cooked. My wife had pork chops and she loved it. Salads were fresh and generous and the rolls were very good. Iced tea was excellent as it should be in Texas. Great Logan's.
Everything was great, a little salty on the poppers with the blacked salt. My husband said that the steak had grissles in the ribeye about half of it. Corn was deflated per my husband.
The steak was so good. Thanks for the recommendation. The service was so special, really 5 start. I couldn't pay with my AE credit card, it was only the bad part, but the rest was amazing.
I can’t thank the staff at Logan’s enough! I accidentally left my phone—with cash, my credit card, and my driver’s license—at our table. When my husband called my phone, the staff answered and let us know they had safely placed it in the office. When I returned, everything was still there just as I left it. I am so grateful for their honesty and kindness. And by the way—our meal was perfect too! Highly recommend!
We can in with a large group, 10 people, at first they said 2 hr wait but the front of house girl quickly found us a table. Which we appreciated very much as we had 3 handicapped individuals and it was my aunts birthday. Steaks so tender you could cut with a butter knife. We highly recommend. Was my 1st time at a Logans.
Me and my family have always missed Logan's since they shut down their Odessa location. We found out Abilene had a Logan's and gave it a try. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated. Immediately the waitress attended us and took amazing care of us. The steaks were AMAZING, literly cooked to perfection, and the beer was cold. Very pleased! Brought back memories.
One of my favorite restaurants. Always good service. Always good food and the rolls are to die for. So very sad the location in Amarillo closed but so happy to find one in Abilene so I can travel and still have a good meal.
One of the best experiences in Abilene I've ever had. I have been visiting this chain way back before this facility chooses during the first part of COVID. I was so happy that reopened. I Love their steaks. Always cooked exactly as ordered and the taste is exceptional. As we entered we were led back to the treat of the seating area. At first I thought and actually shared with the lady who seated us, "What did I do to get sent to the back of the class room" we day there for a few minutes before anyone arrived to take out drink orders. And out of nowhere came this beautiful personality with a smile to die for beating hot fresh rolls. Hey name is Symia. So when you visit this establishment ask of she is on shift and request her area with total confidence. The food was amazing, fresh and extremely well seasoned. I was so impressed with her service I had to share me experience with her manager. This is a must visit Steak House in Abilene Texas.
We arrived about 3:30pm and were starving. We stood at the reception desk and were glanced at a couple of times but no one came over. Then a young man came over and said he wasn't really a hostess but if we would bear with him he would get us seated. His name was Colton and he was amazing!! I can't remember the last time I had such excellent service. Our steaks were prepared as ordered, were very tender and good, but it was the Colton our waiter that made the meal perfect.
The food has been on point these first two trips we’ve made recently. The service is attentive. The salads have several ingredients which some places lack. The bread the five toy so so soft and buttery. The atmosphere has been nice and quiet. The plan to visit Logan’s Roadhouse more regularly.
Good was good, and not over-seasoned. Told could have been a few minutes more in the oven to get a little more color. The waitress was new, but very friendly and very thorough.
We sat at the bar and our server, Meagan took great care of us.
No wait. Rolls were a little hard. Steak was good. Service was attentive. Like it.
We stopped here to have a late lunch/early dinner. We were seated quickly, and got our drinks and rolls quickly as well. I chose to order a steak and my girlfriend ordered a hamburger. Both meals were excellent! My girlfriend that the hamburger was wonderful. I wish we hadn't been seated next to the bar. There were a few patrons that we standing rather close to our table.
We had a really good lunch at Logan’s, but the biggest downside was the wait. Even though there were several open tables, we still had to wait quite a while before being seated, which was frustrating. Once we finally got to our table though, everything improved—the food was hot and delicious, the rolls were as good as ever, and our server was friendly and attentive. In the end, the meal made up for the slow seating, but it definitely stood out as something that could’ve been better.
Food was really good, but sat in bar area for 15 min and only had straws and napkins placed on table. Moved over to main dining area and service was much quicker. Logan’s needs to train front staff better, and have staff dress appropriately. Young man seating patrons looked like he was hanging out on block corner with a hoodie and toboggan. I’ll keep going , but I’ll make sure Hillary is bartending, she keeps drinks flowing and stays on top of orders. Overall 3 out of 5 just train your people better
The food was great one visit then the second visit same dish had gone down in quality by a bunch. . I had the salmon. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good but I went to the bathroom an hour after they had opened and it was so nasty. Trash thrown everywhere, urine all over the place. I almost left the restaurant assuming the kitchen may be equally nasty. Get that corrected!!!!
Unimpressed. We had one child with us and they sat us in the bar. We waited 25 minutes for a table that had been empty the entire time we were waiting. The place wasn't overly busy. My husband waited 10+ minutes for his drink to be refilled. Staff was just running around visiting with each other. Plenty of people to keep our drinks filled and check up on us, but they didn't. Food was good, salad was nice and cold, but should've waited the hour for Roadhouse. 😞
Odd odor upon arrival. Did not have Lemons for tea, did not have mushroom appetizer. Service was friendly. Manager would not honor coupon.
Today for Valentines Day food was delicious and service was very good.
They are out of the steaks we tried to order, and out of salad. How are you a steakhouse and out of steaks and salad? Its not like this place was busy, may 1 or 2 others there. Not a place I would recommend
Food was amazing and exactly what I've been wanting. Kitchen staff did the job 10/10 Our server was hard to find and very rusty. Watched other tables in her section get their own to-go containers and get the server next to them to find her so they could get the check. She brought us our check before we got the chance to order dessert. Not sure if it was just a bad day or if this just isn't the job for her. Personally for spending $60+ and expecting a tip it was quite unreasonable.
Good service the steak is pretty good. Stay away from country fried steak both my daughter and myself thought it was pretty bad. The Logan Alfredo is good and a lot of food
While the flavors were spot on, I was disappointed with presentation. Had to fill the empty spaces. My pet peeve, you should NOT have to remind your server about low or empty beverage glasses. A lot of garnishes and cordials were "out." VERY friendly, just seemed a little bit overwhelmed and mgmt did not fill the void.
Food was ok. Chicken was a little over cooked...mashed potatoes were great silverware was dirty so was my cup. Server was good. We may give them another try one day
Okay let me start off by saying the food was good and it had flavor. But when I go to a restaurant and they say that they have fall off the bone ribs. That is what I am expecting to get but there was nothing fall off the bone about those ribs and this is like the 6 or 7 time I've been going there. But they do make a good stake me and my wife both like the stakes
To start with we visited this Logans on a weekday so we expected fast service and a small crowd. The crowd was small but the service was a little slow. Our waitress was super nice and attentive to us, as expected due to the small crowd. We both ordered a steak combo which I had the 6 oz.. steak and brisket sausage, the wife had the steak and shrimp skewer. The foor tasted good, but the steak was over cooked and dry. Flavor was on point though. We both ordered medium steaks but got well done. As always the peanuts were unlimited and I always enjoy throwing the shells on the floor. I would have given 4 stars but the simplicity of cooking a steak to medium should be something a steak joint does right especially on a weeknight.
Wait staff ignores you even on unbusy times. Food is mediocre at best. Sides are poor fare and steaks cuts are fair but unseasoned and bland. ,there are better options for the price.
Took the kids here recently. It was our first time and also our last. We were seated quickly and got our drinks fast. We were pleased by the prices, which seemed quite reasonable. Sadly that was about the end of the "good". We ordered the fried pickles, which were tasty, but they came with no dipping sauce which seemed odd. The server said he would get us some ranch, but he forgot and we had to ask again about 10 min later. He refilled our drinks around when he brought the ranch. He didn't add more ice so our iced teas were just warm and these were also the last drinks we got as he never came by to refill them again. It took close to an hour to get our meals, which was odd since there were only a few other tables. One of my kids got something totally different than what he ordered. He didn't say anything because we had already waited an hour for what we got. The rest of the food had obviously been sitting awhile as the gravy on the chicken fry was congealed and the fries on the other dishes were barely even warm anymore. I had not one, but two hairs in my food 🤢 so I didn't even finish mine. The server was sitting on the other side of the room playing on his phone most of the time we were there. Hence why we never got more refills I guess. We didn't bother complaining because we don't plan on going back and just wanted to get out of there. Overall a pretty subpar experience.
Ordered rolls and cinnamon rolls for Christmas and was supposed to be ready by 145pm but were not and was told that they need to cook about 15 min. I ordered them 20 min prior to arriving at the restaurant. What's the point of scheduling the pickup if the food isn't ready by pickup time . Really? How hard is rolls and cinnamon rolls? Horrible service and had to wait like 5 min before anyone even acknowledged my presence. Manager never said a word about any of the situation. We were sceptical trying them again after they've been reoped, the food and service have been decent since...till today. This is why we won't be back. There's no consistency at this place with food quality and service is horrible. Management obviously doesn't care either. We will stick going to Texas Roadhouse for our dining experience. At least their food quality and service is always too notch in our book. Far as I'm concerned, Logan's can close and never reopen again in Abilene. Waste of a good restaurant location to have there instead of a better eating place!!!!!!!!!!!
Would not go back. The employees were great, nothing against them at all. The food was super greasy, the onion rings were more raw batter than onion, the steak tasted like it was only seasoned with salt.
We chose Logan's hoping to get a good Texas steak. Not so much. When we were seated the host said he'd bring utensils as soon as they were out of the dishwasher (5:00pm). Then we ordered draft beers, we were told we had to wait until the bartender was done serving a party. We ordered our meals. Rolls arrived, still no utensils, waitress brought plastic ware. Salads arrived, waitress spilled half the salad dressing on the floor, chair, table. No apology, just oh oops I'm not awake yet. Still no utensils, had to ask about them. Meal arrived. Steaks done as requested, however, they had so much meat tenderizer that they no longer tasted like beef. Would not recommend this place to anyone!
Decided to try this place one more time. Thankfully ordered the appetizer and got it before we ordered food. Got the amped up shrimp that was supposed to come with lettuce and green onions. No green onions and the battered shrimp was….HARD. Decided to get a pizza. Service was good, though. We sat at the bar.
My husband and I took my parents to this restaurant this afternoon. We went in at 3:00pm for a late lunch/early dinner which was nice because there weren’t a lot of people there and we figured we could beat the dinner crowd. In total, we made a table of 7. Four adults and three older kids ages 10-14.We went in and the hostess, who more than likely was just having a rough day asked how big the party was without so much of a how are ya only to roll her eyes and let us know that we would have to wait for 20 mins. Cool. We will wait. We are a table of 7 after all. While we waited, we watched several other tables being sat prior to us understandably since we were a bigger party. The issue came from the fact that they made us wait for 20 mins only to be sat at a BOOTH meant for six (maybe) and it was a booth that sat empty the entire 20 minutes we had to wait even though there was a larger table available and stayed available during our entire visit. We made it work though thinking it was a lack of staff because let’s be honest, good staff are hard to find these days. So four of us scrunch on one side while the other three scrunched on the other. All the while my poor husband was hanging off the side of our side of the booth. We were never offered a different alternative and even asked for a chair to put at the the end of the table but alas, no chair was given. We ordered our food which is when problem number two came occurred. I specifically asked for the mushroom jack burger and conversed with the waitress to see if I could get it as a burger and not on chicken. She said it could be done and went to put it in. Our table was rarely checked on and even though the waitress joked about how crowded our table look (we weren’t laughing) she never helped clear off plates and such that weren’t being used to make more room. I ended up having to move the extras to a table next to us so we could get room. When our food did come, my burger was indeed chicken not a burger as we agreed so I had to wait for my food while my family finished their meals without me. By the time my order was corrected, my family was done eating and ready to go. At this point I was frustrated and finally just grabbed a chair from another table so that we could have more room. Another waitress helping ours during our second check in even made the remark of how it was hard to move around me and the chair to get to my husbands drink to FINALLY get his refill. The final straw for me with this establishment was when we got up to leave, the bus boy couldn’t push us out fast enough as he started bussing the table while my dad was trying to get out of the booth and jacket on. I was so disappointed in the service and lack of concern for the customers. We are from the Lubbock area and came to visit my parents and actually suggested this restaurant because we have only ever had good experiences in our Lubbock location. Never judge a book I guess because this will be the last time we come back to this restaurant.
5 star always. We're regulars and always get good service! Steak cooked perfectly! We went there for dinner a week ago. We were excited to go again since it reopened. What a difference, it was actually really bad. The gumbo isn’t gumbo, not even close and my grilled shrimp was grilled on 1 side only, bit strange. Unfortunately we won’t be going back.
Waited 1.5 hours when I was told it would be 30 minutes. staff was rude when we asked how much longer I was told that 4 tops are normal and our group was not. Also the rude kid at the front told put gloves on and touch his face, hair, ear, and a pen he had in his mouth only to go back to handle food without washing hand 😝. No thanks you lost my business 😒. We left wont be bad.
December 21st 2018 Review: - Food: standard Logan's, thumb up. - Service, here we go: +Walked in at 7:15... Had to wait for 20 min for a taboe even when we noticed plenty of them available. + Got in the table, no peanuts in table... After 5 min wait I walk to the barrel and serve them myself, no big deal. + When I got back there was stillsno waitress... 5 min after she ask for our drinks order. We order drinks and plates + nachos right there. + Nachos and food arrived at same time, still no drinks not beer in table. + when food arrived I needed to ask for silverware, it arrived some minutes later. + Then had to ask for napkins. We had dinner, nothing to mention until... + Asked for check, had to wait for another 10 min NOTE: waitress was running all over the place (she was busy) and restaurant was full; the "improvement opportunity" is not to the waitress, it's to management, you guys (management) need to do a lot better. Yes, I still tipped waitress 25%, was not her fault and is Christmas season. PS: restroom was extremely dirty. Texas road House is just crossing the street; can not be worst than this .
My boyfriend and I came here hungry to eat. The hostess was nice, told us there was a 20min wait and we decided to go to the bar to eat instead. We got waters right away, but waited about 10min for the bartender to come back and ask us if we wanted another drink. She was kind, nothing against her, but I suspect their restaurant is understaffed. We put in our drink order which she prepared quickly, and then put our order in. There were some unhappy guests at the bar about how slow the service was already, so that unfortunately made the environment a little less warm for us - mostly due to a snarky server that said "complain more" as the guest was speaking. Me and my boyfriend as well as another couple at the bar became pessimistic about the service speed, which unfortunately was exactly what we got. Food took about 30min+ to come out despite a mostly-empty restaurant. My boyfriend really likes the beer battered fish and gives good props to that. I, on the other hand, fought my "stay-on-the-bone" ribs as they were anything but tender. Sides were decent. I wouldn't go here if you're hungry and ready to eat...
To start this off I’ve had better experiences in the past at Logans, however today just wasn’t great the amount of rolls they give you you’d think they’re rationing them. Waitress filled my drink once, mozzarella sticks were great. Country fried steak was a fairly small portion for what you’re paying for ( it did taste kinda off if I’m being honest), the side of mashed potatoes were incredibly soupy as well! Maybe it was just an off day however likely won’t be going back, proceed with caution.
We were seated quickly but waited over 30 minutes without having our orders taken. We finally got the attention of the oerson that seated us and she said it was her mistake but still nobody even took our drink orders. After patiently waiting 45min we left . Horrible service...i never leave reviews but thus needed to be said.
I had to hold back on this review because this was my first time visiting Logan's. Got there and was seated quickly. The server was sweet but just started there. He took our orders and came back later because our ticket went missing so he had to get our order again. We finally received our drinks and appetizer but continued to wait for our food. Over an hour into our wait, a manager finally saw we were still waiting and asked if we were still waiting for our food. There were other customers who arrived after we did and received their food, ate their food, and left. We were there a total of an hour and a half and didn't get our food. We went to the counter and asked for the manager who turned out to be the one who checked on us and was about to deliver our food to the table. I informed her we were leaving since we had not received our food. She reviewed our order and removed the appetizer and one drink but still had to pay for my alcohol. I received a small apology of "I'm sorry," and that was it. Didn't even get a "your food is ready if you would just like to take it to go." Instead, there was another really sweet employee who was on break who offered it to us.
This was probably the worst meal we have had ever. The pulled pork was soaked in so much grease, that it only had the flavor of grease. It resembled something like wet soaked meat that was like a sloppy joe type consistency. The sausage platter seemed like it was steamed instead of smoked. No taste. The only item in our order that was any good was the rolls. This was my first and last time eating from this place. It left a bad taste in our mouths and stomach. Literally. Do better. At least for others because we will never eat there again. Highly disappointed in the fact we wasted that much money when I cook better BBQ and I can't even cook!
Me and my grandmother went to Logan‘s because our favorite place roadhouse was busy and I decided to go to Logan‘s there is no wait time so we went there and then I wasn’t that hungry but I was kinda hungry so I ordered a kids meal burger and she said it was a three dollar up charge and I was OK with that so we ordered the wait time for our food took so long and then when our food got here, I only had one tiny slider, the size of a baby’s hand so I would like to complain about that and my grandmother my poor, sweet innocent grandmother got cold corn if you come to Abilene and you decide to eat at Logan‘s, don’t do it. It is a waste of money and time.
This was absolutely the worst roadhouse I've ever been, I live in odessa and was traveling to Dallas, over half an hr to get tea, then after over an hour or food came raw and wrong. The Manger was rude, I saw her screaming and trowing people out, we left hungry!!
Prior to dinner rush was seating in bar area. Only one other customer for bartender to take care of, didn’t get drink order right(sweet tea and water)was never asked how our food was, baked potato and sweet potato skins were burnt, hard and insides were barely edible(leftovers?), only had sweet tea refilled once, water remained empty for last 10 plus minutes, didn’t stay to receive check. Went to register to pay out. The manager was working it. We told him and his only reply was sorry and that’s for the feedback. We will never return.
If you’re craving leathery, flavorless slabs of what I assume was once meat, this is your place. Their “cuts” were so bad I started wondering if they butchered the animal with a chainsaw. The shrimp came out still auditioning for Finding Nemo, mashed potatoes were instant (and somehow still cold), and the potato skins? Burnt beyond recognition and salty enough to raise your blood pressure on sight. The cherry on top? Our waitress, who couldn’t be bothered to pretend to care, demanded we sign the receipt and tip her before we were even done eating. And no Yuengling—because of course not. This place is a culinary crime scene.
Wow. I can’t even begin to explain how disappointed I was visiting. We came in around 8:30, it was dead empty. The hostess acted like it was a complete inconvenience for us to be here and the waitress was the same way. Miserable attitudes. Food was just as disappointing. Steak was cold. Chicken fried steak was tiny. The entire staff was in the kitchen just goofing around and not a single person we came in contact with had any sort of customer service except the bartender and we didn’t even order drinks. We were getting pressured to leave by our waitress an hour before close and did not feel welcome to sit and eat at all. All of this on top of bringing our toddler in made for a very stressful, very frustrating dinner.
My wife and I went in for dinner on 4-27-24 at 4:30 PM. We were seated promptly by the Hostess, but that was all the service we received. We left after fifteen minutes of nothing. Not a hi, we will be with you shortly, nothing. It seemed all the waitresses were in the kitchen, talking. As we were leaving I made a comment to an employee about the lack of service and and that we would never return to that restaurant. Her reply was, "Okay."
They can’t even cook a steak right !!!! lol won’t be back and make sure anyone I come in contact With , don’t either
I was part of a big crowd yesterday, Sunday evening and we got our drinks about an hour after we all got there. An hour and half goes by and we had just gotten our orders taken. Never had refills, then about 2 hours and maybe 15mins there we finally get our food. The people who ordered appetizers had gotten that when our food was being brought out. Our waitor was respectful but not sure if he was new. After I had left, I heard that the manger told the others that we all should have tipped good.
Not a. Wry good experience. First time coming here. We went at about 8pm. There wasn’t many customers in the building but the waitress still informed us that the kitchen was backed up. Took forever to get our chips and queso out. I’m glad I somewhat filled my stomach with bread and chips… my chicken fried steak was disgusting. Couldn’t handle more than two bites. Very disappointed… not willing to try this place again. Overall bad.
Food and Service is Great. Got charged twice on my card for the meals on the same day close to the same amount. Asked the man that appeared and said he was the Manager to reverse one of the charges. Gave him detailed printout of both within 30 days of data of service. NO REFUND. SO, watch your credit card. The food isn't worth twice the price. IF it was more money ($60 ) I would spend the time to make this "manager" regret blowing me off on a refund. Instead My hope is someone at Corporate gives me a call...
We went to Logans for Father's day. However they weren't busy. Our food took a little long to come out, no big deal though. However, we ordered the potato skins, they came with the sour cream but not the ranch that's included. I asked the server for the ranch. She never brought it. I asked for sweet and low twice and eventually had to go find it myself from the bar. I was only given one refill and never offered one. I had to constantly ask. I ordered the French DIP. The cool thing about French dip sandwiches are that they are supposed to include the DIP. After asking for it twice, my wife finally had enough and went to the hostess to see about getting some. Now the time to pay comes, we had separate checks so we hand her a debit card and $100 cash. 20 minutes goes by and we go looking for the server, and see her in the back area, leaned on the counter playing on her phone. We wait another 20 minutes and finally have enough and go to the front counter to pay. We ask to speak to the manager, and he takes our checks and runs the payment himself. Nothing comped, nothing offered. Not even an apology. The food was mediocre at best. And the service was TERRIBLE. Don't waste your time coming here.
Worst experience ever at a Logan’s Steakhouse. Won’t make this mistake again. Been an hour and a half and haven’t gotten food yet. Order beer and it sits on the bar for 20 minutes or until you decide to go get it yourself. People who were here before us, but sitting next to us, very unhappy as well. Get Appetizers as quick as 45 minutes after order. And this is Father’s Day. Maybe 10 cars in the parking lot. Few customers. What do they do on a busy night. And I had 10 guys with me.
Pretty sad when hubby & friend are done with their dinner before I even can get my first bite😔🤦🏼♀️🙄 ordered a sirloin done medium and it comes out rare..send it back and it still comes back rare...send it back again and now it's well done🤦🏼♀️I must be on a see-food diet..see food while everyone else eats 🤣 Now waiting on a freshly cooked steak....we will see...to be continued 😀 Well 4th time WAS NOT the charm🤬 I'm done🤬 but the steak was not🤬 The manager did comp the ticket and him & server did apologize...we did give the server a tip for trying their best
Mac N Cheese tasted like left overs from the day before, noodles way over cooked, or was left over. Had the steak alfredo, steak was ordered medium rare, came well done. She did offer to bring out different steak but i was already full at that point. Absolutely no smoke flavor in the steak, which seems to be their claim to fame. I would not eat here again. Bartender was nice, always had a full drink.
We had to wait 30 minutes before a server ever came to our table. A manager was yelling at customer's to never come back to the restaurant. My salads was made wrong. I order my steak medium and it was raw. Then the waitress told us that we where being rude because we didn't want them to fix the mistakes and ask for our ticket instead. We tried to rip her and she threw the money on the floor.
Zero. Zero stars. I ordered to-go online and scheduled pick up at 8:30. Arrived on time and stood in the middle of the room. I'm just over 6 feet so I'm hard to miss. I saw at least 4 wait staff walk RIGHT past me and didn't even acknowledge my existence. Glad I chose the option to pay at the restaurant, so I just walked out. Logan's earned these low ratings.
This place had horrible service . Waited 30 minutes and never got a drink . Ended up leaving and going to the road house and had a amazing night with great service . Go to the road house and save yourself the trouble of the poor service at logans.
I've had great service at logans in other towns. I came in and got seated in the bar area, not biggie, not a drinker. Looked over the menu. Watched the bartender flirt with her boyfriend or husband for over 15 minutes, and it was not a busy time or a "RUSH HR" and when I get up to walk i make it 10ft from the door and she's [Oh I'm sorry I was on my way right now.] Not thank you
Watch your itemized receipt and your charges to your account, what I was charged was not the same as the itemized bill ($8 difference). (I’m not upset about the difference it’s the principle) The waitress didn’t want to talk to us so we went and got the manager (Marcus) he was cool. He said he couldn’t do anything about it though. Also noticed after getting home that we were charged two additional items that we had not ordered or received. Also didn’t get an item we paid for after the waitress told us she would take it off the bill. Sent the food back once because the steak was rare (We didn’t order rare).
The trealmel the GM is saying you can't have sound for a football game but yet sits at the bar so much for customers service but yet the place is dirty bathroom stinks and place smells like marijuana hopefully corporate comes down soon
Literally handed me a plate with old moldy broccoli that was cooked lol. Hands down the worst resteraunt in Abilene.
We just left, and the only reason service is getting 2 stars is because the manager comped our entire meal. 8 people. Our experience was horrible, and before we left our seats two of the three kids were in so much pain from what we (in the medical field) think it’s from bad rice. The pain was intense, and heart breaking. The steaks came out under cooked, or cold. We ordered and received most of our food an hour later. An entire meal was missing and didn’t come out for 30 more minutes, and salads were all delivered after the food. I wish we had waited for roadhouse. We would’ve eaten sooner & had a better experience with no sick kids.
40 minutes for an order and the restaurant was almost empty, only 3 tables . We had to leave with no food. Never going back there!! The same thing happened to a friend , 20 minutes and they didn’t even have him a menu. Such a bad service.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered my steak rare and it came well done so I sent it back and it came well done again. My finances salmon had sauce on it that the waitress herself said she would make sure they cut, they didn't so it had to be sent back. They didn't bring all his food. I never got any food after waiting 2 hours for them the get the crap right. Then they didnt even comp anything and charged us for things we didn't even order. HORRIBLE
Well, I shoulda checked the reviews. Wanted to get a nice steak for Father's Day and Logans was much closer to my hotel than Texas Roadhouse so I figured I would give them a try. Bad idea. I got the moonshine shrimp and the 16oz ribeye and ordered a margarita. The margarita was the best part of the meal. The shrimp came out and the plate and chips were hot and the shrimp was almost cold, but the shrimp had good flavor. My steak came out over cooked, I told my service professional it was over cooked. She said no problem at all and took the plate back to the kitchen. 15 minutes later I get the exact same piece of meat back only now it was further over cooked. So I told her it was the exact same piece of meat and now it was further over cooked so she took it back again. About 6 minutes later the manager brought the same piece of meat back to me only this time it was cut completely in half. I told him it was over cooked and he told me my server told them it needed to be cooked more. He offered to either remove it from my bill or make a new steak. I chose the new steak, again wrong choice. I got my new steak, cut into it and it still wasn't quite right but I told her it was fine and proceeded to eat my steak. Worst quality ribeye I have ever ate. It had to of been 60% fat and gristle. I eventually gave up because I didn't have a mini chainsaw to cut it with. Worst Father's Day meal ever. Now I know better to stick with Texas Roadhouse.
The best part was the hot bread and beer. I was disgusted over this food. The steaks were tough and dry. First time ever having to put steak sauce on it to eat it, half the salad was brown and the ends, corn was dried, broccoli looks like it is moldy. Over all dirt was better or MRE's. Never again will I eat here at any location and glad Idaho doesn't have this chain. The waitress also spent more time in where the grills were then her station.
I was sat when I walked in the door there was very little business. It was probably fifteen minutes before I decided to get up.And walk out because no one had even asked me if I wanted something to drink! If this were the last place in abeline, Texas to eat, I would just starve. So the owner contacted and ask me to go to another site to explain exactly what happened. Long and short, I responded on the Logan site as ask well 3 days in and no response. I gave them the benefit of a doubt and just like the restaurant I got totally ignored.
Usually im pleased with Logans but tonight im not happy the steaks were over cooked rice way o er salted rolls were not even warm they actually did not impress me tonight like usual. The service was great ordered a pick up the togo specialist was amazing she was very well deserving of a decent tip. Not her fault the food was just not right tonight I did t even eat my meal
Logan's if nothing else is consistent. consistantly disappointing. My wife and I visited this location Saturday evening. We were looking forward to having a nice steak. We were seated at a two top in the bar area. I was afraid this would. Ot be good. Sure enough our server was the bartender. She was already busy but she finally made it over our way. She took our drink orders and then brought us our drinks. She asked if we would like to order an appetizer. We said no thank you could we have two .ore minutes to choose our entree. She returned ten or more minutes later. We ordered the 16 oz Ribeye medium and baked potato and salad with a side of BBQ ribs. The food took a long time to co.e out and then came out with a food runner. Everything looked good however the runner quickly took off before we could cut into the steak. The steak was to rare. We finally got the bartender to come take the steak back to be cooked a little more. We waited twenty minutes for the steak to come back. We had to stop someone to have them check on our steak. They got the bartender who went and got the steak. When she dropped it off she said I think they got all the pink out. Well yes they did. They literally burned it up. It was charred terribly. We should have not accepted it. By the time the steak came out we had pretty much eaten everything else and had gotten no drink refills either. I asked her to bring my wife some more tea. I had ordered a Margarita, I was empty too. No one ever offered refills. Overall this was a horrible experience
Service was non existent. We were sat in the bar area. Waiters & waitresses walked by us without acknowledgement. Bartender said she'd come be with us soon but it was obvious she was busy making drinks like bartenders do. The hostess (who seemed annoyed to be there) should have sat us in the dining area with a designated waitress. We didn't ask to be at the bar. Meanwhile, other people came in & got seated & served right away. We finally walked out. 10-12 minutes is too long to wait to be served. No one even attempted to give us drinks. There was no way the bartender would have ever been able to wait on us & everyone else ignored us. I gave one star but being we weren't served at all, it should be zero stars. Abilene Logans sucks.
Haven’t been in a long time so I was excited to eat there again. Used to work there about ten years ago and it has definitely changed and not for the better. Gabby was our server and not attentive at all!! They weren’t busy and we had to keep asking for things! Y’all have to do better Logan’s was known for the family vibe and tonight felt that we weren’t valued at all!!!!!!
I ordered a med rare filet for my wife and I to share. I ordered it Togo as I just got off of work, I parked on the side. Apparently ordering food todo and sitting there and eating it in the parking lot is criminal activity. Without warning the manager called the police on us. After the police confirmed we had bought our food there minutes before, we received no form of apology or anything.
I am usually understanding but we were in Abilene for the weekend and we came in around 7:20 and accepted when they let us know it would be a 30 min wait so we decide to sit at the bar to have a drink and yes I told the host that's what we were doing, so right when we sat down we told but a nice man that she was real busy because she was having to see w huge party so we were like that's fine np not knowing she would not acknowledge us for about 20 min., meanwhile we are watching the host to make sure he didn't forget about us and he even made eye contact every time well wouldn't u know after being there 40 min. He does just that so the customer next to us for his attention and he came over and had the audacity to say I'm not in trouble am I to which we said well we just seen u sit someone who came in after us and he says oh I thought y'all decided to move to the bar which we never said so we just paid for our drinks that we didn't even finish and left. I was so disappointed with how slow all the workers seem to move it wasn't a pleasant experience.
Waited quite a while to be served. Then Waited longer to order. Ribeye steak ($25) was dry and tough. Wasn't served rolls so I asked for some and only after finishing my meal was I offered any. Had to go and steal salt and pepper from another table. Was never asked how my food was. Was only able to prder one drink the hour and 10 minutes because waitress was nowhere to be seen.
This is what we got for 23 dollars. The ribs were tough and such a small portion. First time and LAST time we will be back. This was father's day. I also told the waitress how we weren't happy with our service. She made the comment " well, you ate it", then pursued to take my money and check us out. I have never been so unhappy with anywhere we have been to eat. This probably explains why we were the only ones there eating.
I've never been so disgruntled by a dish before in my life and I've grown up poor. ITS DRY! Has no depth, no flavor beyond the sauce and the meatballs I can taste are frozen for months before being used only to be replaced by another 50lb box. On top of that the meatballs a fully Grey and probably hard bread since they are bland and have no flavor beyond one weak layer of imitation meatball. The pasta, is dry, the only flavor is sauce and that it self is 1 dimensional. It's like, basic, unseasonably, uncrared, tomatoes sauce. There isn't even any parmasean or basil like the ad says. I'm never ever ordering from here or ever going to visit this location and any other location simply based on this one simple dish. I havenever taken my time out of my life to leave a negative review for food. But this warrants me to take such time to make this review on here and door dash and report it to Leo's Kitchen.
Visited Logans for lunch with our grandchildren. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. We didn't get any peanuts, not sure if they offer anymore. However, the atmosphere changed with the waitress. She brought us our rolls with no plates. After asking for some, she brought us 3 plates for our party of 4. She made no effort to be friendly. Not a smile nor a "you're welcome" after thanking her continually during our visit. To start off? They were out of Raspberry Tea, so I had to settle for Peach tea. I didn't care much for it; so my husband drank it. I just drank water. The children's drinks were served with lids. Perfect! The popcorn shrimp and fries off the childrens menu was the perfect size for my 5 yr. old granddaughter. She ate all her shrimp. The burger my other granddaughter ordered looked delicious. Eating only half because it was big for her. My husband and I ordered the country chicken fried steak. Side fries for him, a baked potatoe for me. We both ordered a salad. It was crisp and delicious. However, when our meal came out, I could not believe the size of our chicken fried steak. It looked like something off the childrens menu. Such a disappointment. Well, the waitress eventually said you're welcome and even managed to give a small smile. Not sure if we will return. It was pricey for such a small meal and unfriendly service.
