El Rincon Addison Reviews
I ate at the Downtown Carrollton location last week. I discovered that there was a closer location to me in Addison. I decided to compare the two. I ordered the Papos lunch plate again. It was right on with the flavors. The chips and salsa were perfect! The beef taco was excellent! The General Manager, Harry, was so friendly and checked on me several times during my meal. He had greeted me at the door and was completely "hands-on." I was so impressed! I will be returning to get my Tex-Mex cravings satisfied in the future.
Atmosphere was chill, inviting and clean. Chips were fresh and salsa had a nice Smokey flavor. Paloma was thirsty quenching and the (recommended by the bar tender) brisket tacos were worth the drive no doubt. Service was great and price was more than fair!
Wow! Talk about a gem! Saw a review from a local influencer so we figured we would check it out. A little tough to get to when it’s cold out but after eating here, I would have walked three more blocks!! Walked in, seated right away and notice they have a special, BIRERRA PIZZA!! Uhhh… YES PLEASE! AND happy hour Margs all day Monday? Sign me up!! Salsa is really good! Smokey with a little spice. I tried not to eat my weight in that stuff alone. Pizza came out quick and hot. Tortilla was crisp, meat was flavorful, and the consume was BURSTING with flavor. Then we finished up with the churro and ice cream. Not overly sweet, great flavor. Can’t wait to come back here!
Just off Addison Circle the El Rincon Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Bar is a great place for food, beverage, and atmosphere. Normally I'm with a group, but today I went alone and found the service was just as attentive. I had a burrito which was more than I could eat and was delivered without a long wait. So good! Often I take advantage of their monthly focus on a particular kind of tequila. It's always priced as a special and makes for an opportunity to try different tequilas. This day I went for the House Margarita, and it was just what I needed. I recommend checking out El Rincon.
Besides the guy that walked us to the table telling us “we close in 45 minutes”…food was good, waitress was sweet! The parrillada was great, buuutttt they use skirt steak for the fajitas and although good…they were TOUGH. The beans were delicious, as were the tortillas. I’d go back!
The best margaritas there is! And the happy hour deals are the best. The manager Harry is attentive and always checking in. And Mayra provides amazing service. I enjoy coming here every time.
This somewhat hidden gem, tucked into Addison Circle, is doing things right. The food is good, from a varied, interesting menu, and at reasonable prices. I was greeted at the door by a friendly hostess which was a great start. I had the Dos Burritos de Carne and it did not disappoint. The two larger-then-expected burritos came filled with chunks of beef, atop rice, and covered in a flavorful creamy brown sauce. The special today was a $4 house margarita and they didn't skimp at all, which is also a nice surprise. My excellent server was Tess who confessed to being new. She will do well here, no doubt. The place is ran like a Swiss watch by a manager named Harry who clearly knows this business. Consider El Rincon the next time you're craving Mexican cuisine.
Best Strawberry 🍓 Margarita’s Ever!! Love their Taco 🌮 Tuesdays. We used to eat at the Frisco location but it closed December of 2022.
I visited last week with a friend and the $4 Sangria Margaritas are delicious. Today for lunch, the Tilapia with their amazing sauce. It was exactly what I needed to keep going for the day. I will return to try new dishes.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The margaritas are strong and Shrimp Brochette is amazing! Not to mention the Flan, the only bad thing I can say is they’re usually sold out.
First time enjoying this place and Gary's energy and service was amazing. There was limited staff, but he still got it done. Such a kind soul! The food was good, hot, and flavorful. There is a strange odor that was unidentifiable, but it did not appear to be due to uncleanliness.

As for atmosphere, Game #1 other World Series was playing and was showing only at the bar TV. The main dining had some old game show on. But, if you ask I am sure they would have changed it. We were sitting at a 4-high topper.

I am leaving this review to shout out our phenomenal waitress Kim! She was friendly, fun, and super helpful. Take her drink recommendations... You won't regret it. First, both previous times we have tried this spot we had exceptionally awful, rude service. We decided to give it one more shot because of convenience, and Kim was a world of a difference. Good food with strong flavors! A bit pricey, but a nice happy hour!
Welcoming restaurant located in the heart of Addison, a beautiful decor touch gives a good atmosphere. Seating available indoors and outdoors. I had the Carnitas Chile Pepper and it was a tasty dish and just about the right size. I also had the Tamarindo Agua Fresca which was a good thirst quencher. Service was a bit slow when I entered but then they were friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming back
Nice small spot in Addison circle area. Sat immediately and the staff were very kind. Prices were decent, drinks had a wide variety of tequilas and there is a special everyday. Highly recommend for anyone to come here after work or even during their break.
Fantastic food with great service. My wife and I were celebrating her graduation with family and the servers were both very kind and attentive. We started with the queso which was just ok for me, but my wife loved. The salsa has almost a bean flavor to it, but not in a bad way (similar to Gloria’s). The chips were amazing! So a great canvas to work with I got the asada quesadillas which I thought were a little too heavy on the adobo sauce that you couldn’t taste anything else. My wife got the birria tacos which was fantastic. I really enjoyed the flavors here and wish I had gotten them as well. Great spot to dine!

It’s been my husband and I third time visiting the restaurant, we had a large group of family and friends join us, the food and the atmosphere is amazing. Gary has been our waiter each time and his service is excellent, he is very friendly and is on top of our needs.
Great happy hours. Love the salsa, margaritas are great, not sweet. A big fan that they cool it with makes the food cold as soon as it arrives. So I think our food would have probably tasted better if it had been hot. When it arrived it wasn't really hot and with the big fan it got cold pretty fast. We want to go again and sit more in the middle of the restaurant vs down the ramp on the right side.

The waitress was nice and knowledgeable that can answer all our questions. The foods were just okay, flavorless and my quesadillas were kind of soft instead of crunchy crispy, and the fish tacos were over cooked, the fish taste burnt. Don’t recommend if you really want good food.
After reading the other reviews, maybe I just went on an off day. The service was slow. We were the only ones in the place at 1130am. The waitress walked by us several times. I actually asked my brother if he had ordered and I missed it since we had been sitting there waiting so long. The food was bland. I’ve tasted better food in a tv dinner. The chips tasted store bought. The flautist were hard and contained only a small amount of meat. It was mostly burned crust inside. The nachos were good. The quesadillas were gummy. I’ll give it another shot on a different day.
The meals are very dainty. I always leave hungry after eating dinner here. Most recently I ordered enchiladas. The plate was mostly lettuce and the enchiladas were miniature. But it's a nice place and the service is always good.

Food was not good. I had Verde enchiladas. They were dried out and hardly warm , salad was not fresh , black beans right out the can. I couldn’t even eat any of it. The enchiladas were more like an egg roll. They had a little dried out green something on top and cold shredded reddish chicken inside and no cheese and no enchilada sauce. They do not know how to make Mexican food!
