Hui Lau Shan Addison Reviews
My first time trying mango mochi dessert and it was delicioussss! The service was quick and incredibly professional. Got the most thoughtful bag for the to go order to keep the dessert cold. Highly recommend!
Hui Lau Shan is a Hong Kong dessert chain and it’s all about mango desserts. A new location is open in Carrollton, Texas and it’s amazing! Friendly staff and the desserts are great! We tried the Mango Chewy Ball and Mango Coconut Noodle! Mango overload and great for summer. Recommended and will go again!
Omg the most refreshing mango treat! My friends and I came here like twice and every time is a good time. They are busy like always, which is a good thing but the wait is worth it. Definitely will come back. All their mango treats are delicious, you order up front and it’s self service/pick up at the front. Staff is generally kind. Atmosphere is busy but it’s a cute spot. Great for small or large groups. Till then, let’s eat!
Hui Lau Shan is our kids’ favorite dessert place! Everything tastes so fresh, and you can really tell they use high-quality, real ingredients. I especially love that their desserts aren’t too sweet—just the perfect balance. Their drinks are also super refreshing and full of natural flavor. It’s a spot we keep returning to again and again!
Hui Lau Shan never disappoints! All their desserts taste incredibly fresh, and you can tell they use real, high-quality ingredients. The egg waffles are especially amazing—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of flavor. Both the hot and cold desserts are equally delicious. Definitely one of my favorite dessert spots!
This store specializes in mango desserts, and since I love mangoes, I had always wanted to try them. I ordered the Mango Chewy Ball, Mango Pancake, and Yogurt Mango. The Mango Chewy Ball was delicious, with mango slush, mango chunks, mochi, and coconut mango ice cream. I highly recommend it, as it’s something you’ll want to eat again. If you’re sharing with someone, I suggest getting the large size. The Mango Pancake is more like a crepe rather than an actual pancake. The Yogurt Mango drink was refreshing, not too sweet, and very tasty. The store is clean, and weekdays are not crowded, so I recommend going on a weekday. On weekends, parking can be difficult.
I’m so glad they opened a location in Dallas! It’s a cute spot with a great variety of drinks and mango desserts. My favorite is the fresh watermelon drink with coconut juice, pomelo, and mango with sago—super refreshing! They’ve also added more seating since they first opened, and the service is pretty solid. Definitely recommend for anyone who loves mango!
Great place for desserts if you love mangos! And dance for joy after you finished!
Such a cute and rearest mango dessert one could get. Perfect for mango lovers i would say. Made me feel like eating more and more.
Hui Lau San offers a great variety of delicious desserts — everything I tried tasted fresh and satisfying. The cashier was the nicest person I’ve ever met, and even though they don’t accept tips, they serve with their whole heart. Truly a warm and delightful experience!
The desserts at Hui Lau Shan are absolutely amazing! You can really taste the quality—everything is made with fresh, real ingredients, especially the mango. Both the hot and cold desserts are delicious. The flavors are rich, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving something authentic and satisfying!
Mango sweets for me and the girls. I love my mango pomelo sago, and the girls loved the mango yogurt and strawberry yogurt. The sweet cashier split my girls cups into little cups and spill proofed it, i wish i had a picture of that. Cute spoons, superb service, already brought my girls back several times!

They provide awesome hand-made mango desserts. Tried Mango🥭 Sago with coconut 🥥, it was lovely!! Mangoes were creamy and authentic without food coloring. Totally recommend!! (Staff was not polite as expected, they didn't greet at all!!)
Amazing, no notes. Love this place. If you love mango, this is THE place to get a sweet treat. We got the mango chewy ball and mango coconut noodle. Incredible. The texture of the chewy balls is perfect.
Best mango smoothies in town! I love that they use real fresh fruit rather than artificial flavors. The store environment is always clean and the team is super friendly. If you’re a mango fan, don’t miss out on this place!
Quynh recommended and MASTERFULLY crafted me arguably the BEST DESSERT I have ever had in my entire life! I told her I loved mangos, coconuts and mochi and she delivered!! This might be the greatest dessert shop of all time. Super clean, incredible desserts and obviously the best service. Quynh will have me recommending to everyone in the area to come here. 10/10 experience

We came here for dessert after dinner and ordered the D5 drink to share. It’s a mix of mango and coconut juice with aloe jelly. The flavor was good, but not quite as good as the Vegas location. The aloe jelly pieces were also very long and would be better cut into smaller pieces. My friends got the desserts and seemed like they really enjoyed theirs. Besides that, the service was great and friendly which we appreciated.
We really enjoyed dessert here! The mango sago hit the spot! The drinks were hit and miss, we really enjoyed the watermelon one but the mango was ok! I will still be going to try other desserts and drinks
I first discovered Hui Lau Shan in Houston and instantly fell in love, so when I found out there's one in Dallas, you know I had to check it out! We got there early—one of the first customers of the day—which turned out to be a smart move. The servers were friendly and quick with our order. And let me just say: if you're a mango lover, this is your paradise. From mango drinks to desserts, they’ve got it all. The shop has a few tables if you want to dine in, but it looks like a lot of people opt for takeout too. One cool thing that sets this place apart? Their containers and utensils! Everything is neatly wrapped in paper—spoons, straws, the works. It’s the little details like that that make it feel extra clean and thoughtful. Budget around $10 per person, which is pretty fair for a sweet treat this good. Just a heads-up: it’s located in a busy shopping center. Early birds will have no problem finding parking, but come lunch or dinner time? Good luck. Between overly confident young drivers and a few reckless ones, the parking lot becomes its own kind of adventure. Overall, Hui Lau Shan is a fruity, mango-filled gem—worth the visit and the parking lot chaos!
We got the mango chewy ball and mango coconut with sago drink. Both are delicious - I do think the mango chewy ball was better! It’s very sweet and the mango tastes fresh so definitely a place to come for sweet tooth lovers. We came on a Monday around 3PM and there was a decent crowd, so I can only imagine how busy they’d be during peak hours. It does take some time to make so don’t expect it to be done fast - you also may have a hard time finding a table depending on the day and time you come. Overall, pretty good!

The mango coconut aloe jelly drink was a hit, but the coconut jelly could’ve been better. It didn’t taste as fresh as I’d hoped, and the coconut flavor was a bit too sour.
Rating: 6/10 Date Last Visited: 9/12/2025 We ordered the Mango Chewy Ball ($8). I’m having a hard time describing this dessert besides just a mango dessert with some sort of mango liquid, cut up mango fruit, and some “chewy balls”, maybe mochi. The mango tasted fresh, but the overall dish was nothing special. It’s a great mango dessert, but for the price, it’s not really worth it. Overall, I would recommend if you really like mango or else there’s better options.
This store specializes in mango desserts definitely a must-visit for mango lovers! I tried the new Mango Tiramisu on the menu and really enjoyed it. Also gave the mango and coconut juice a try—it was just okay. The place can get pretty crowded, and it’s a bit tough to find a spot to sit. Parking was also a challenge it took me almost 20 minutes to find a spot. Still, a great place if you’re craving some unique mango treats!

I really wanted to like Hui Lau Shan in Carrollton because their desserts are usually a treat, but this location completely missed the mark — especially when it comes to customer service. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a dessert shop. The staff was completely indifferent — no greeting, no eye contact, no effort to explain anything on the menu. It felt like we were bothering them just by walking in. Even when we asked simple questions, they responded with attitude or just ignored us. No thank you, no smile, no basic decency you’d expect from any service-oriented business. It’s disappointing when a brand with such a strong reputation lets service slip this badly. A good dessert isn’t enough when the overall experience leaves such a bad taste. I won’t be coming back to this location — and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless management makes some serious changes.
