Jupiter China Addison Reviews
I have come here multiple times and every single thing I have gotten has been great. They have very good value on their lunch specials, which come with the protein, egg roll, and rice. Lots of good food and fast service. This time I got General Tso’s chicken which was very yummy.
First time here and the Food was Delicious! Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was nice, more so for a quick dine in and out... Great Delivery or Pick Up. I Highly recommend!
I don’t know where the bad reviews come from, this restaurant it’s AMAZING!!! We ordered chicken lo mein, Kun pao chicken, beef fried rice, orange chicken and everything was DELICIOUS!!!! This is not fancy restaurant but the service it’s really good, Tony is so friendly, and kind. The tables, floors and restrooms are very clean. Definitely, we’ll be back!!!!
I had sweet and sour chicken and steamed rice. Very crispy chicken, really yummy! The rice was a little dry but that's probably my fault because I waited until the end to have it. All in all a very good experience!
Today I found out that the recipe for Honey Walnut shrimp has changed. You can see in the photos that there is not the creamy white sauce anymore. I hope it makes a comeback as it was my favorite dish at any Chinese restaurant. (btw- no walnuts- they use Pecans instead which are tasty but some might want to know that) (After reading response)—> well it sounds like maybe there is reason to hope that it hasn’t been permanently changed! Yay for creamy sauce & for listening to customer feedback.
I ordered the Sesame Chicken芝麻鸡 with rice and 2 of the Egg Roll (Chicken) (1)鸡春卷 off of DoorDash. It wasn't really good. It was just what you would expect from an Asian restaurant and nothing special. It was $1.99 per egg roll and I ordered 2 but I sincerely regret that, because they weren't tasty.
Honestly, we have ordered from here for years, but have been doing so far less often because of 2 main factors. 1) They no longer offer delivery, which is one of the main benefit of ordering Chinese or pizza. 2) They offer spaces to make special instructions in case of food allergies, or taste preferences, but then regularly ignore the instructions and send the food out however it normally comes. If you are going to ignore the comments, at least have the courtesy to tell me "no substitutions" or something. I guess I should check the order every time I pick it up, but I really feel like I shouldn't have to do so.
Not terrible but not good. Sauce spilled right out of food into the bag like water. Chicken tasted uncooked and unseasoned. Did not taste like schezuan chicken at all. Stomach started hurting after a few bites. The man was nice though which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.
Yikes, just went there for lunch and everything tasted weird! even the egg roll tasted old and i spat it out in fear it would make me sick. Kid at the counter was nice , also I bit into my sesame chicken and it was brown, probably should have lead with that but either way never again.
I ordered the chicken and broccoli and it was very bland-the sauce was not thickened at all and was runny and watery. I also ordered the regular size chicken and broccoli and what i got was not worth 13.75–it was a lunch sized portion even though i did not oder the lunch size because I knew that would be a smaller size. Normally a regular size would be a full size entree with rice servced seperately in a smaller box or container, but this was a lunch sized portion chicken/brocolli served in the same box with the rice(which they also charge an extra .50 for)—i dnt even understand why extra charge for the white rice because it is standard to include white rice for dishes such as chicken and broccoli…i have never had a chinese restaurant charge for rice with this type of dish, unless i want extra rice or fried rice. I have had food from here some time ago and it was good then but now it seems they are trying to make the dishes smaller and charge more—and the dish didnt taste good at alll. chicken and broccoli normally has a brown sauce thats a thicker/gravy like consistency—this had very thinned out and watered down sauce which is very disappointing.
The food was ok I had the orange chicken with steamed rice. To be totally honest I like Panda Express orange chicken better. It just tasted weird and I spent $15 on it. I wouldn’t be shocked if it came out that the sauce was old it just was weird tasting 🤷🏼♀️ The rice is ok. The serving size was decent. I called in and tried to place an order apparently they don’t even take orders over the phone which seemed weird but that’s ok. Overall I kinda wish I went somewhere else it just wasnt good enough for the price. Service was pretty typical for a Chinese place
Offered a BOGO deal on Uber Eats, which is not uncommon for Chinese restaurants in the area. However, Jupiter China ended up packing 2 small containers of half a normal portion each. Kind of a rip off. Also up charges for rice unlike other places, and you don’t even get a full box. It’s a few tablespoons on the side of the small tray for your entree. Overall, terrible value for the money.
Come on do better. For $30 2 orders of chicken fried rice was small and lackluster at best. Huge chunks of uncooked onion! No flavor! Do better because value price proposition is simply not there
Undoubtedly the worst chicken fried rice I've ever had. Pieces of chicken are absolutely huge pieces of chicken breast that taste like they were boiled in water and then thrown into the blandest rice with hardly any vegetables. -4 stars out of 10 if that was an option. I also asked for it spicy and did not receive that. This was small as a lunch portion of anything else, and cost $15.
AVOID THIS PLACE! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This take-out/delivery experience was so disappointing. I ordered orange chicken, how does a Chinese restaurant screw up orange chicken??? It was chewy like it had been microwaved and the hot chili oil container was larger than the rice portion. There are plenty of places that actually care about their food and customers. This is not one of them.
Food was good. I rated the restaurant because they stole a tip. I ordered my food to go at the counter. I paid for my Shrimp Fried Rice only, in the tip line I wrote 0 with a line through it. I received a notification today stating the transaction total changed. Be aware!! They steal tips from their customers.
DO NOT EAT HERE!! Look at all of the other reviews, I wish I did. I paid for 8 dumplings and got 5, and my 2 orange chicken meals and they weren't even 50% of the way full. The chicken also tasted very funny and some pieces were raw. I wouldn't give this food to a homeless person.
I should have listened to the reviews!! I ordered the orange chicken and fried dumplings and they were both inedible. The sauce included with the dumplings spilled all over, causing the dumplings to be soggy and unbearably salty! The orange chicken had a weird smell and taste. Like hot sour ketchup, no orange flavor at all. I could only stomach two bites before tossing it in the trash. This place is so close to me but it’s not worth it at all!
I ordered pineapple chicken, particularity for the listed vegetables, onion, red and green peppers, when I get home I find that there are no vegs, it's just chicken and pineapple, how do you expect to get better than a 1 star when you can't even cook what is listed?
So many times I have ordered and they were missing something. This time I was missing and egg rolls and a complete order of crispy beef. I had to sit and wait for them to make a new order and now my previous order of crispy beef became soggy beef. And after waiting, I got home and all of my steamed rice is missing. I called to see what they could do and all they could do was say sorry. Time to move on. I have given them so many chances but when your service sucks, it's time to go somewhere else.
