The Crab Station Addison Reviews
Food great! Very flavorful. Good drinks. No complaints. Reggie our server did a fantastic job. Enjoyed the Superbowl here with good company & great space.
Even though we arrived close to closing time, the food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding! The raw oysters were really fresh, the fried calamari perfectly crispy, and the lemon pepper wings bursting with their bold, zesty flavor. The ½ pound of snow crab and shrimp was the highlight—tender, juicy, and drenched in their signature spicy sauce that was simply irresistible. The staff’s attentiveness made us feel welcome despite the late hour, proving that this spot values quality and hospitality. A must-visit!
First time at this location and it was a very good experience. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The margaritas were my favorite part. I definitely recommend this place. Morgan was very friendly and helpful to us. The place was very clean. It is the perfect place to eat delicious food or have some drinks at the bar.
It was a great vibe for hubby birthday. Just wish they had done Karoke that night but they had a different DJ. Food was ok, I really did like the blackened catfish though. Drinks did the trick. We was about to seat 15 people but had to get there by 8pm. DJ comes at 9pm.
Love that Addison has a crab station now. My family and I came in on Friday afternoon around 3pm. Morgan was a great server and ensured me and my friends were enjoying our experience. The seafood boils are most def worth it, the shrimp is big and you can request it with no head. The spicy levels were spot on, The Shazam is spicy but delicious. The margaritas on happy hour were bomb as well as the green tea shots. The servers as well as the owner was very attentive. The music is the perfect Level to where you enjoy it and it’s not too loud. Loved the atmosphere and loved the food will most definitely be back.
Went for lunch during the soft opening phase. The food was great, and the server was very friendly! We got the boudin balls for an app and they were delicious! Pictured is a combo with catfish and popcorn shrimp, and a catfish po boy. Price was $44 before tip for everything, which feels like a deal in this economy 😅 Really excited for this to be a regular spot!
Just Found This New Location Today!!!! Hands Down The Best Location!!! The esthetic is the amazing!! The outdoor seating is nice! The service was even better. The hostess Andrea greeted us with a smile and had us laughing from Hello!!! The Bartender/Waitress Julia was so good. Let us know about the new location and things to come. Most importantly the food hit the mark! I go to the other locations a lot so I speak from a regular Crab Station Patron when I say I know this location is the best. I have always liked Crab Station so I wasn’t surprised when the food came out and was all that I expected. The service is good all around! The Manager Sunny/Sonny came and checked with our table as well as every table checking that the experience was to our expectations!!! Great Job Crab Station Addison!!! I wasn’t even asked to give a review but after this experience I had too!!! This is my officially my fave location!!! This will def be the go to spot for seafood and good vibes for me!!! I predict this will be a popping spot this summer and moving forward!!! Take my word it’s good…. Better yet..Go see for yourself !!! You won’t be disappointed!! Thanks Sunny/Julia/Andrea!!! Service was a little slow, but overall good experience. Karaoke and music, good drinks and food. We will be back.
I had an amazing experience at Crab Station in Addison! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered 2 pounds of shrimp, and the sauce made it 10x better. Every bite was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The service was just as impressive. The bartender, Bri, was incredible! She made me a strawberry lemon drop that tasted excellent perfectly balanced and refreshing. The manager was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the entire atmosphere even better. On top of the great food and service, they have karaoke at night with a live DJ, which makes it such a fun spot to hang out. I enjoyed every second of my time there and will definitely be going back. I highly recommend bringing friends and family to this place you won’t be disappointed!
Under new management and it shows. The food was delicious—served hot, fresh, and right on time. Our waitress, Bri Bri, provided exceptional service and made the experience even better. We will definitely be back.
Good location, friendly service and the shrimp boil smells and looks delicious! Looking forward to trying it on my next visit. Today I had the lobster roll, Good flavor but it was a bit salty.
Chef Tum always has the food on point. The bartenders/servers Juls, Mike, and Larry are always on point, drinks are top tier and the service is always A-1. There is a good vibe and I like that it's a place you can bring your family.
Crab Station is a hidden gem for seafood lovers! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was lively and welcoming. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible. I ordered the seafood boil with snow crab, shrimp, and sausage in the house special sauce—it was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and finger-licking good. The seasoning was bold but not overpowering, and everything tasted fresh. I also loved the garlic butter on the side—highly recommend adding that for extra richness. The portions were generous, and they definitely don’t skimp on quality. Prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food. And if you’re a fan of spice, their heat levels won’t disappoint! Whether you’re going with friends or on a casual date night, Crab Station hits the spot every time. I’ll definitely be back for more!
Great time to spend a Friday. Our bartenders Mike & Julia were incredible. They did amazing job with service. Mike made a great lychee martini. Friday was karaoke night, so my husband and I definitely enjoyed the ambiance. We will be back since food and service speak for itself.
Walked in for a quick bite to eat. The server Liz made me feel so welcome, the food was hot and absolutely delicious!! The bartenders Larry and T were incredible! Best Drinks I’ve ever had! I’m definitely coming back!

Came in on a Friday after New Years and the bartender wasn’t onsite so we were told drinks were extremely limited, despite it being happy hour. We asked if there was beers on draft for a happy hour special and they said no that happy hour was shots only. The next bar we went to someone mentioned how great the happy hour margaritas were at crab station so we were thrown off by what the restaurant server said. We ended up just getting oysters instead. We got the ceviche oysters and for cracker red. Ceviche oysters were good, firecracker not so much - very fried and took away the oyster flavor.
This was my first time at this establishment. My boyfriend and I went for a date day. we were told to seat ourselves. Upon seating a waitress brought waters. We sat & waited about 15 mins. Employees literally watched while we sat there. it was a slow day. There were only about five additional customers. Wasn’t an inviting environment.
Last night experience was sub par for the cost of $190 for 3 people . It took over 15min for a margarita on the rocks with less than 6 people in the restaurant. After my friends got a refill on there drinks I continually asked about my drinks ETA. As a customer I felt like I was brushed off and my request was not taken with any urgency. The crawfish were small , the baked potatoes were still hard/raw just not what I would expect for the price we paid in the end. The music and decor is about the only good thing i would say out of the whole experience. Just work on your food and customer service would be my opinion, but unfortunately I would never come back to this place again.
My experience at this location was horrible. We ordered charbroiled oysters and the oysters were undercooked. Not only were we served uncooked oysters but my snow crab and lobster was over cooked. Along with the sausage causing my throat to clog with food. I could not hold any of the food down. I went to the restroom and threw up everything. I have never felt like I could not breathe due to over cooked rubbery meat. We will not be back. I’ve been a regular at the deep ellum location for 5years and counting. But was told it’s under new management. There was one server and one cook to 20 customers: the food took extremely long amounts of time and everything was burnt.
Very very bad service, took a hour to get our food, we were the only people in the entire restaurant. Not only did I waste my entire lunch break here they got my order wrong and only wanted to give 1$ discount on the food. Also another lady was there for 20 plus minutes got mad and left because no service was provided. We complained and there were in the back majority of the time. Not sure why fried fish and fries took so long but I was highly disappointed, I did ask for a refund because my order was incorrect so I wasted my time and lunch break and was not happy I left still hungry.
No stars if I could. The worst customer service. None of our order was correct, and when we asked about our appetizers, the staff was rude. We were told multiple times the items would be discounted, yet we were still charged. Completely unacceptable.
Picture this: It’s a gorgeous Saturday, and your sister is fresh out of the hospital like a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis—14 days of hospital food and she’s ready to feast! You ask her what she’s craving, and she hits you with, “Crab station in Addison?” Apparently, there’s a new crab shack just around the corner, and she’s ready to get her shellfish on! You clock out of work faster than a kid running to the ice cream truck and zoom over to pick her up, ready to grant her seafood wish. It’s such a lovely day that she insists on dining al fresco—because nothing says “I’m out of the hospital” like enjoying crabs on a patio! Enter the waitress, who seems to have just graduated from the “How to Be Confusing” school of service. We place our order, and she hands us some water. Water! The elixir of life! She disappears inside to fetch a drink menu, and we’re left twiddling our thumbs. Fifteen minutes later, a new face appears—surprise! It’s the manager. She waltzes over like she’s about to perform a Broadway number and asks if we’re being helped. I respond, “Yes, I’d like a margarita, please!” She nods like it’s a revolutionary request and assures us she’ll take our drink order. Just when I think we’re finally making progress, she disappears into the abyss of the restaurant. Another 15 minutes go by, and our original waitress, re-emerges with the grace of a gazelle—only to deliver the tragic news that she forgot our food order. At this point, it’s been 30 minutes, and my sister’s medicine is tapping its watch impatiently. So, we repeat our order like we’re on a broken record. We settle in for another 10 minutes of waiting—no drinks, no food. It’s like we entered a time warp where time stands still, and we’re surrounded by six or eight people at the bar who are clearly not starving. Seriously, it’s barely 4 PM! By the time we look at our watches again, it’s 4:50, and we’ve officially wasted 50 minutes waiting for…nothing! Finally, we bail out of that crabby situation and head to the location in The Colony, where we’re met with service that’s not just prompt, but practically sprinting! If this joint can’t handle a small crowd at 4 PM, I can only imagine what it’s like when the place is packed. So, if you’re considering a visit, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this crab station! Trust me, your stomach will thank you.
Came in an hour or so before close and the bartender said they were no longer making drinks because he shut everything down already. He said we were limited to straight shots and not mixed drinks because he already cleaned the bar, but why would you shut everything down and you’re still open for another hour? I understand if it was the kitchen but the bar? Won’t be back!

I placed a to go order and thirty minutes went by without receiving any type of confirmation that the order was ready for pickup. I had to call to find out. Once I arrived they tell me they’re out of oysters (the only reason I made this order). They couldn’t call and tell me that as soon as the order came in? The restaurant was empty so there’s no excuse why someone couldn’t take a moment to call to see if I wanted to replace what was out of stock or cancel the order. I would have saved my time, canceled the order, and found what I needed elsewhere. Nothing was offered for the inconvenience of coming up here for an incomplete order - just a sorry. SMH. Please do better. Edited to add: what I did receive is terrible. I’ve never had gumbo this light and unflavored. The kids meals (chicken, catfish, shrimp) also had no flavor at all.
I try to support these types of businesses but they make it extremely hard..The only good thing about this place is the DJ....I should've know it was going to be bad when they have a sign saying that if you don't like your food, you still have to pay 50 percent of the bill. First it took forever for us to get a server. When he finally showed up we placed our order and it took forever for us to get our food. He brought our food out one by one and kept forgetting the rest of our food. I even had to order my own drinks at the bar. I ordered some garlic noodles and waited forever... looked up and saw the same entree delivered to the table next to me. So of course l asked the table and they said that they didn't order it but the server told them to keep the entree... asked the server and he lied straight to my face. The food that we did get was disgusting. For a "Cajun" restaurant, there was no seasoning. Everything tasted like straight water. Hire people that care and get a manager that actually manages.
Had one drink. It was cool. After waiting for a bit the waiter says they don't have any more fries. I pick another side then the manager comes out later to say they don't even have my order because the computer froze so I left with nothing. I would not recommend. They offered to comp the meal but I don't think I'll ever return. That doesn't make any sense what happened tonight.
