Second time coming here and have ordered food both times. I thought the food was just really good the first time because I had a few drinks. Went back again and had the food early on and it was just as good - best bar food around. Great selection of beers and the bartenders are always very friendly and quick. Classic pub atmosphere with good music that is loud enough to hear but quiet enough you can comfortably hold a conversion. Great place to get a drink and /or food.

Love the atmosphere and staff here. The patio is very nice They have free taco bar every Thursday 6-8pm, which is original reason I started coming here. I've since started ordering off the menu. I've been told the entire menu is great. This is the Mac burger: mac 'n' cheese and bacon on a burger patty, on a pretzel bun, with fries. Amazing!

As a 45 year old, walking into this place and seeing a 20something DJ spinning 90s hip hop let me know it was gonna be a good night…just not enough ladies around for a Wednesday night

Traditional bar food. Good beer options. Hard liquor drinks depends on the bartender. Keep it simple. 4% fee tacked on for credit cards. Fun place.

Been here twice in the last two weeks. Met all female bartenders. All are great, one smoking hot, other 2 strong 7s. Cook great guy. Patio out back can smoke cigars. TVs, roomy, nice lay out.

A surprisingly good experience. We were recommended this place over ‘lion and the crown’ by friends in the area and enjoyed our food and the overall bar atmosphere. The bar was attentive and playing solid music at a tolerably loud volume. It’s lit like most bars and is clean on tables and floors. The service is fast and consistent. The food was surprisingly thoughtful and generous. I recommend the fries and burger.

Why are their hours not posted on their website? It only states “closed on Christmas.” I had to look to Google Maps to find their hours.

My idea of how to prepare a hamburger and theirs are very different. I did like their burger and fries, but have had better at other places. Will try other menu items on next visit. Service was very good. Real nice bar tenders. Very clean restroom, and bar service area. This restaurant and bar is not a very big place, so I would not book a big party there with more than 30 people so as not to over crowd it.

Got the Santa Fe salad, which is advertised as a mixed greens salad on their menu but my salad was clearly all ice berg. The chicken tasted like it was over fried in old oil. Their other fare may be good, but avoid the salad. :(

Trash service. Trash Bartender. After years of being a loyal customer I was lectured about my tip! The bartender didn’t even know that I had cash! Instead he told me I wasn’t welcome back and if I did come back he would not serve me.

Mucky Duck is illegally making their servers/bartenders pay for a customer that walked out on a large tab. A customer ran up a high bar bill, walked out without paying for the tab and the management made the servers and bartenders pool money together to pay for it. In Texas, that is absolutely illegal due to the Federal law (Fair Labor Standards Act, FLSA) & Texas law (Texas Payday Law and state rules).

@katiebriggs, ya I saw something similar go down earlier that night. I think her and the person she berated are friends or they have the same people. He didn't seem to be fazed but definitely unprofessional. Other wise it was a bad ass night!!!

Wow really disappointed tonight. Everyone was doing such an amazing job and taking care of customers, but then things went sideways. A new bartender had the guts to lecture a newer patron on how to tip, then carried on in a drunken state outside in front of his wife and their friend. Honestly, I don’t know how he kept his cool. She seemed a bit over the line . I didn’t even know bartenders could drink on the job, but I guess that explains it. He kindly got up, walked away, and just said, “Hey, I’m sorry I don’t always have money to spend, but when I do, I try to tip.” Now he’s left wondering if maybe he just shouldn’t come back since that’s how y’all feel. Feels a little harsh, but really what would you do in his shoes?
