This is a beloved neighborhood establishment that true San Franciscans cherish. The freshly roasted coffee, roasted right there on site is deeeelicious. ☕️They have a nice array of sweet and savory items on the menu as well. The locals hang out inside and outside and catch up on life over a steaming cup of fresh brew.

Visiting San Francisco had us looking for good coffee with a surprising number of "misses", but don't miss this local cafe! Street parking right in front leads to delicious pastries and hot, strong coffee. Oatmilk options available.

Update, incredibly friendly staff and baristas. Glad to support a local business :) Fantastic coffee and breakfast bagel (that is served all day). They fill the neighborhood with premium aroma of coffee if you come while they roast their beans. Expresso or coffee, you can’t go wrong here. I personally order their latte or cappuccino.

This no-frills small coffee shop offers a nice experience, where one can savor the great taste of their in-house roasted coffee beans in the coffee.

Henry's House of Coffee is a haven for coffee lovers! ☕ Their house-ground coffee is exceptional—fresh, aromatic, and bursting with rich flavor. 🌟 The in-house grinder adds a personal touch, ensuring every cup is perfectly crafted. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality coffee done right! 🏠✨ They sell their coffee and breads as well as shown in pictures.

They make a really good oat chai, and smell like they roast some pretty great coffee (I can’t drink coffee otherwise, I’d try it). Henry’s also makes one hearty breakfast burrito, full of meaty, potato-y goodness. They serve it with hot sauce, which really brings the sandwich to life.

It is the best coffee house in the city. Prices are lower than anywhere else and the quality and service is at the top. No words about the coffee, freshly roasted in front of you. And you can take your favorite coffee to home. Breakfast bengals are crunchy and fresh.

Walked by this place, and their amazing coffee smelled pulled me over to order a Chai Latte substitute with soymilk (my favorite drink above coffee) It was AMAZING, I’m writing this review while sipping it. Their foam was so rich, thick and creamy. I haven’t tried other drink in Henry’s but the Chai Latte here is way far better than Starbuck. Then I decided to get a Croissant eat along. Definitely recommend to everyone I know.

Wonderful place to grab a cup of coffee and a simple breakfast in Inner Sunset. I have visited them a couple of times and am very satisfied by their coffee, food and service. Latte is always made to a good temperature, and literally has the best value in town. I have also tried their breakfast bagel (sausage, egg, cheese) and breakfast burrito (not on the menu, just ask. It has egg, sausage link, bacon, cheese and tater tots), both are served hot, taste fresh and delicious. There is a lovely, well divided and ventilated parklet outside. There is usually a short line but manageable and service is very friendly.

What a cute little coffee shop! Loved their chai latte - a tad on the sweeter side. The medium size is quite big actually. The apple turnover is flaky and filled with tart apple sauce - they heated it up for me so just ask if you like your pastries warm. Super friendly service! There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

I grew up in the Sunset neighborhood and used to buy comic books down a block from Henry's House of Coffee. Would never go in because I didn't really start to drink coffee until college? I'm glad they are still around and have modernized the shop. Great cup of coffee and espresso. Good price and good service. Parking can be a little bit harder.

Heard about this place on Reddit in a “best coffee in SF” thread and I have to say we would mostly agree! Their in-house roastery in an open-kitchen format fills the whole place with the fresh fragrance of coffee. My favorite thing apart from their coffee was the black paper cups - very aesthetic. Overall, a very homey feel to this place. Would come back!

A long time business customer here! Originally discovered Henry's randomly online about 7 years ago. After sampling a few bags, our company founder was so impressed that he flew across the country to meet with the famed roasters. Their fruitful meeting spilled into a multi year collaboration where the Phinix brand proudly carries a custom variant of Henry's Coffee in New England. Most recently, we tried the limited edition roast, and it was fabulous. Bold, rich, but not overwhelming. We like to brew our coffee mild and smooth, so fine grind is important to us. Also the new packaging is thoughtfully made and easy to reseal. Very impressed by the consistency and quality of Henry's over the years. These guys are masters of their craft. Clearly a family generational legacy. Bravo! We recommend to try the new Limited Edition!

Sometimes I cheat on Starbucks to see what's out there, I am so glad I chose this quiet, chic and sophisticated coffee shop. I didn't want to get something to different but the Carmel cappicino with the health toast was exactly what I needed to start my day. Highly suggest for coffee lovers and wholesome breakfast options. DEFINITELY A MUST

Great coffee, fantastic staff and a very clean place. Location is perfect!! The only thing that was off putting was the atmosphere. Very unnecessarily loud! I don’t expect a coffee shop to be quiet by any means. They need to ask their elder customers to not watch phone videos on speaker full blast. The overhead music is great but I guess the older customers try to drown it out with their phones. Highly recommend for coffee! I need to try their food. Looks good!

Nice mom and pop couple running the coffee place. It’s always busy but don’t feel crowded. Wait times are minimal. You can buy whole bean coffee freshly roasted from there as well! This place makes a New York-Style bacon, sausage, egg and cheese bagel sandwich like no other and also at a reasonable price of $7-8. The chocolate hazelnut croissant as well as the Zataar breakfast are on point.

Best chocolate croissant I've ever had! Excellent Americano. Nice to have brown sugar to put in your coffee. Nice staff. Will be back!

A lovely coffee spot locally owned by an Armenian family, offering delicious cafe au lait, latte, espresso as well as Armenian coffee. For sure one of the better independent coffee shops in San Francisco.

Cute coffee shop, walking distance from 25th Street. Street parking available and the area a did not seems to be busy on a Sunday morning. Coffee roasted in house is delicious, chai latte is yummy but a little sweet. Good pastries selection. There are more than two tables (seat 4 each) and some window seats. Employees are friendly, quick service. I would love to live near by to go here often!

Good coffee shop with a really good bacon onion croissant and pour-overs. Often enough, there are cigarette smokers outside so keep it in mind if you’re out walking your baby or child.

A hidden gem in this part of the city. Some of the best breakfast around and fresh roasted coffee. Don't skip the Zataar Brunch.

It isn't specialty. I get it, maybe in the dairy dream where the drink has just a hint of color.... Then fine. But as a stand alone espresso, it is lacking. I did a ristretto and a regular double. Nah, fam. NGL, it missed the mark completely for me. Also, why are the beans out like that? Maybe it's a local favorite. Maybe the born on date is cool. But, specialty it isn't.
