Moka Coffee Alameda Reviews
Quaint little coffee shop with a relaxing atmosphere. Great service, calm music. Lots of outdoor seating. Straight forward menu with tasty bagels. Great quality coffee. Definitely a nice weekday spot to sit and read a book.
Super fast iced mocha latte, great ambiance, decent amount of seating, and loved all the books! I was eying up that almond poppy seed lemon muffin but I just wasn’t hungry enough to try it 😅 staff was very sweet and lightning fast ❤️
One of my favorite coffee shops on Polk st! There are several indoor and outdoor seating areas, and I especially liked that they always open up the windows at the front of the shop so even when sitting indoors it feels airy and comfortable!
Quaint coffee and breakfast sandwich spot! Kicked off the Saturday morning with an iced latte and egg + cheese bagel! Loved the SF decorations and really enjoyed the latte! I’ll be back 🤩
The iced moka coffee with almond milk is excellent! They use espresso and a little bit of chocolate to really enhance the flavors. Strongly recommend.
One the best places in San Francisco where I can drink REAL STRONG coffee. My favorite cappuccino with additional shot of espresso . Mmm ! Always work excellent for waking up in the morning !

Wonderful little neighborhood café! The coffee was delicious, bagle breakfast sandwich was amazing. Location has both indoor and outdoor seating options. Staff was friendly and prompt. Loved the overall vibe of the place.
The workers are super sweet! I got a chai with oat milk and it was delicious. Sweet and savory it kinda like sweet cereal milk in the best way!
I don’t want to hurt a small business with low star rating… but please know y’all have GOT to do better. $14.95 for an egg and cheese croissant?? Fix it please!

Moka coffee was a nice spot to grab an iced coffee while snaggimg donuts nearby. The atmosphere was relaxed inside with plenty of seating as well.
The chai latte was very sweet, which I enjoyed but I had been expecting the more spiced taste. I haven’t tried their coffee yet. Nice staff and a cozy inside with seating. They also have outdoor seating that’s covered.
It's a cozy place to grab coffee, muffin, breakfast food or sandwiches. It has about 8 tables of 2 and outdoor chairs and mini tables. Service is good and friendly. Food is average. If you're in the neighborhood, give it a try. It's the only coffee place that in the block.
Really cute spot to read, do work, or hang out and chat! The food was delicious and the service was friendly and welcoming! Definitely worth it for people looking to get a bang for your buck! We will be returning!

Great place to chat and work and hangout with friends. Better coffee with the same price is down the street.
The espresso tastes bit burnt! It is not the worst, definitely best than a Starbucks’ espresso but I had it better. The atmosphere is good. Quiet. I didn’t like that they used paper cups by default, although that is, unfortunately, the usual in US.
I enjoyed the cafe very much for the simplicity of the coffee, customer service, and seating arrangement. The coffee tasted smooth and fresh. The aroma of the coffee reaped out on to the sidewalk. The bagels we're soft and the cream cheese fluffy. The cafe has a cool mural that represents the life cycle of the coffee. The customer service was outstanding even though the cafe was super busy. The seating area has a window counter with 6 chairs, and the lounge area has a L shaped sofa which feels comfortable. The only negative I encountered was the bathroom, which was very unkept.

Came here friday morning before work for breakfast. Inside is a cute coffee shop with lots of small tables. It seems like a good place to get work done. It was decently crowded with a short line when I got there. I noticed a lot of people ordering sandwiches, which came with a salad. Going to the side of the counter to order, I got a vanilla iced latte and canadian bacon, egg, cheese croissant. I also got a cucumber and cream cheese bagel. The drink was ready super fast. Food came shortly after. The baristas were super friendly and provided great service. The coffee was pretty strong. I wished it had a little more vanilla. The croissant was super flaky and was great for breakfast. They were generous in cucumbers and cream cheese for the bagel. I definitely plan to come back again to try their other sandwiches.

Unfortunately this was my go to a few times per month to get coffee and an egg and cheese croissant. However in the past couple weeks they decided to raise their price of a small croissant with egg and cheese from $10.95 to $14.95. I let the barista know that I appreciated their service and friendly smile every time I came in but would no longer be back due to the significant increase in price of their food. Good luck with the new prices!

$6.75 latte that was hastily made and far too hot. Most expensive latte I’ve had in a while but wanted to support a small shop.

Worst coffee place ever. I ordered machiatto, and the cup is so small like a child's cup, bitter, full of creamy foam, the cup was dirty. Not so worth.

I have owned 5 3rd wave coffee bars in NYC since 1992. I guarantee that the coffee I have just purchased from MOKA does not deserve a better rating than the 1 star I have given it.
