Padoca Cafe Alameda Reviews
Absolutely one of the best Brazilian spots in San Francisco! 🇧🇷✨ The brigadeiro and pão de queijo are my absolute favorites – authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a true taste of Brazil!
Padoca (formerly known as Sunstream Café) is my only go-to spot for authentic Brazilian foods such as açaí, pão de queijo (cheesebread), cocont bread, coxinha (fried bread with shredded chicken), and Brazilian styled ham, egg, ans cheese with different breads to choose from. The owners are great, the regulars are very friendly and welcoming, and the vibe is always positive. Lastly, l love that their food is the real deal without processed BS.
The best place for Brazilian Snacks and Pastries! I love their açaí bowls. Service is great! Very welcoming. Totally recommend!
Delicious coffee and snacks in a cozy Brazilian cafe. I highly recommend it :)
My kids and I love Padoca Cafe's pao de queijo, coxinha, and other pastries. What a delicious way to start the day. Easy street parking and friendly owners.
Love love loooove Padoca! Everything they have is just amazing, the bread, the açaí, the pastries. Padoca is ALWAYS a YES!
I highly recommend this Brazilian Cafe. People are very friendly. The staff is awesome and always serves you well and with a great smile.
I love to stop here and have my cup of coffee and eat coxinha, the cheese bread is also really good, service is really, very attentive and atmosphere is inviting, thank you for the awesome food, we really enjoyed, I will be back for sure, thank you Bruno, fantastic personality, Good luck with “PADOCA” a friendly name for Paulistas for Bakery, love it!
Beautifully coffee, cortado 9/10
My experience was amazing! The place is great and people are very friendly.
Padoca is a local gem on Geary that you've probably driven past dozens of times. Take this as a sign to stop in and get something!! Their açaí is wholesome and flavorful, and not overly sweet - so good. I admittedly haven't experienced a lot of Brazilian breads, but everything I've had here is excellent quality and flavor (the pão de queijo and coxinha are addictive!) The owners are warm and kind, it's always a pleasure to chat with them as they prepare my order. Order ahead for pickup via WhatsApp (look it up on their IG: padocacafesf) and save yourself and the cafe from the DD/Uber fees. Or relax and enjoy your food at one of the small tables, in the buzzy cozy cafe atmosphere. Support your local businesses!!
Quaint little café with such amicable, welcoming staff. I love stopping by during my work break to grab lunch and enjoy a peaceful moment to myself. My go to orders are the Peanut Butter Lover and the chicken esfiha (hope I spelled that right!) both consistently delicious. Always a comforting spot in my day
Excellent service, good selection of Brazilian foods, drinks, and snacks. This used to be Sunstream Coffee but it was rebranded this year. I came here today for pão de queijo but they ran out of everything except coxinha. I decided to get a small cup of traditional açai ($11.95) and a big bag of biscoito de polvilho ($3.99). The açai was fruity and sweet as expected and the tapioca snack was plain and slightly salty but had a satisfying mouthfeel. There isn't much seating here; I sat at one of the two small tables outside because it was too warm to sit at the two tables inside. You'll find a small selection of Brazilian snacks and bottled drinks here in addition to the baked goods and freshly made drinks.
I’ve been coming to Padoca Cafe for a while, and it never disappoints. The coffee is consistently excellent, the pastries are fresh, and the staff make you feel welcome every time. Highly recommend!

I love Padoca Cafe! Their Brazilian pastries and cakes are amazing! If you’re looking for something refreshing, the açaí is a must try along with the smoothies and juices.
We love padoca! The açaí bowl is our favorite treat and the pastries and coffee are excellent. Great atmosphere and lovely owners!
Best place to stop for an Açaí bowl, to remember tastes of our childhood, to meet new people and the owners are very sweet.
Great spot - close to USF. Great baked goods. Cappuccinos. Acai. This a good spot for either New Yorkers visiting S.F. - or Brazilians! :)
delectable pastries and solid coffee. a perfect outpost to stop by for a mid-afternoon snack while walking along Geary, or doing some chores. Love having this as a gluten-free option, too!
I am from Brazil and a frequent visitor to Padoca. The service is top-notch, and the coxinhas, esfihas, and pastries are always delicious. The cheese bread reminds me of the cheese bread from Minas Gerais; everything is simply delightful. They are very authentic! I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to relive a taste of Brazil or learn about some Brazilian foods/ snacks. Not to mention the brigadeiros (chocolate treat), which are excellent! (coming from a brigadeiro addict). Our American friends love the cheese bread (pão de queijo), cheese pastel, coxinhas, overall pastries, and of course, açaí, guaraná , or coffee.
