This place is great! Absolutely love getting lunch here from time to time. Sometimes theres a little wait on certain side dishes but that doesn't bug me unless its 5+ minutes.

I didn’t catch the employee’s name but whoever was serving meals this evening was incredibly fast and efficient. There was a long line, and he got through it so quickly. I was impressed! Food was nice and hot and tasty!

It was very neat, clean, and I didn't have to wait very long at all. In fact I had downloaded their free app last time I was there. I checked it out this time before ordering. It turns out I had a free entree, I just had to look. Ate inside this time, like I said, it was clean.

Greeted right away by the manager. Young Asian man, really great energy and very informative. Forgot to grab his name but he made our experience great, he told us about the QR code sign up for points and was super polite. Food was fresh and assembled quickly. Staff were friendly with high energy. Highly recommend this Panda Express, the dining areas were clean and he had workers go around and ask how the food was and if we wanted any extra sauces or fortune cookies!! Great experience overall.

I'm only bummed all locations seem to be phasing out the sweet fire chicken! It was my favorite item !!! The food is good here... just keep an eye on your car!!!!!

The food is really good here, but I don't like getting bits of food that look and sometimes taste like they were part of a batch that sat for way too long. Doesn't happen too often at this location, but that's why I don't go to these restaurants unless they are a busy location.

Normally everyone at Panda are professional and I get great service. But today I encountered an employee who was grouchy and did not have customer skills. Hopefully this is just one bad day for her. I will continue to go there for the great food.

Quick good take-out. We were in the mood for an uncomplicated meal and while I was about to enter Habit Burger (which is also good - see separate review) , I changed my mind and picked Panda Express next door. The restaurant was clean, service friendly and quick and the food was good. I had their new Angus Steak with peppers as one of the mains and the meat was tasty with a good mouthfeel. (and at times where grocery bills seem to double every few weeks less than $30 for two is not bad). We’ll come back.

When one manager is on, the food is always great, the service is excellent, and you get your money's worth. When she's overseeing everything, and training then you get half filled cartons and mediocre service. The food is good though, just getting a family pack to get home and find the large cartons are barely half full is a bummer.

I was in line today, and the guy in front of me was ordering, and my order was already done. So, I went ahead and was ready to pay for my order, and the cashier was raising her voice being rude, saying I needed to go in the back of the line when there's a whole line of people behind me. I go behind the guy who was still ordering, and the other employee tells me; is this your order (to which she was referring to my prepared order) . I said yes, and then I went to the cashier, who was the one who was telling her fellow employees that I was cutting in line and needed to go in the back of the line. I stared her down, paid for my food, and I put my hand out for her to give it to me. She gave it to me without a word. Only for her to realize that this dude (that I went in front of) was still waiting for his order to be ready and that she was the one holding up the line for everyone else to just wait on him to get his food. She didn't have to raise her voice and act so unprofessional. She could've said it calmly and told me to wait for the guy in front of me or rung me up since he was still waiting on his order, even after I was walking out of the restaurant he was still waiting.

The food here is pretty good. The Shanghai Angus steak is my favorite. And the walnut shrimp would be my 2nd. Unfortunately those 2 cost more but not too much more. The ladies that work here are a tad rude. They never smile and they look miserable. Perhaps they should work somewhere else. The woman who was at the register was nice today. I feel sorry for her working with the others. They'll probably lose the nicer person and still have the rude ones that have been there for a while now.

First of all I Love panda express. This store is great , and spacious then alot other locations of panda. It could be a little cleaner and another star that went down for this place was when i ordered some of the Pacific prawns , And the guy put the whole amount of prawns...except for one..one prawn who was left behind. Bathrooms are clean so is eating area. Customers service can improve they seem to be biased with customers I don't like that. The food is mid nothing taste great is just ok. The panda express near Oakland airport is far better from service to food.

Don't ever trust the app/online for an order here. Check your bag when you purchase online. Honestly, it's better to just purchase your items in store. But nothing will ever be made to order or fresh unless it's a popular item that is frequently ordered and even then you might get Beef and Broccoli that's all Broccoli and no Beef. Picked up an order last night with several items missing and no sauce nor fortune cookies. Truly felt like the staff figures they will just get a bad review so why bother trying. I called several times and did finally get a small amount refunded back. However, it doesn't make up for the bad experience.

I asked Tina if she could add more and she rolled her eyes and mumbled something under her breath. She became more irritated after I asked for fresh orange chicken. The service and experience was horrible. I stopped coming to this place a long time ago because of bad customer service. The most disgusting part was when the cashier took my plate and put the orange chicken back into the container and replaced new chicken serving other customers with chicken taken out of my container. I've witnessed how they put new food on top of old food and mix from the bottom so that the customer gets the old food. The amount you get doesn't equal what you pay.

This is review from Vasyl M., delivery driver. When I picked up an order at Panda Express ,I didn't find any problem with a paper bag, but when I arrived to the customer and took a bad to hand it to him, the bag with food inside was cracked and ripped. I've never had this issue before when I picked up orders at Panda Express in different locations. I saw this issue first time when I picked up an order at 2630 5th St., Alameda, Ca. and delivered it to the customer.

Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with my food. The portions were very small and not very good! I can't believe that we paid almost $10 for each plate! I definitely will NOT be returning!

I haven't been to panda in a while aside from getting chow mein, but man have they all gone down hill or just this one? I got a bowl to try the new plant based orange chicken. So much empty space in an already tapered bowl. Literally less chow mein than the small size and not much of the vegan orange chicken. And it's premium, so this was $12 after tax. Not worth it at all, literally just get two sides so that they can't skimp. Plus, the chowmein definitely has more cabbage than before which I like but then don't skimp. So disappointing, I loved panda growing up and the service used to be fine. Hope it's a one off thing, maybe I'll hit up a panda before my next flight

It used to be good years ago. The only two things I like are their egg rolls and the chicken with zucchini. This is Americanized Chinese fast food. Go elsewhere for Chinese food. I would rather go to Habit Grill, which is directly across from Panda Express.

Once in the blue moon, I would come here to have some orange chicken or broccoli and beef with noodles. Everything went fine and the services were pretty much standard. I didn't come here in a while but the noodle portion was unacceptably small. It's not even filled up to halfway for the bowl. I wasn't sure if it's the person or not, but at least to fill the noodles up in the box. My friend ordered fried rice but its also not halfway filled. 10 dollars for a tiny bit of food... naw man...

I like Panda Express, a tasty fast Chinese food menu but what I've noticed was at the suburb stores employees look fearful when I walk in, yes I'm Black. I ordered on line and entered to the ' all eyes on me ' greeting by the employees. I walked over to the sign that said "order pickup", when all of a sudden the employees shifted towards the steam table area and started helping the walk ins that came in after me. Minutes passed from the time the app said my food would be ready and there was a bag in food waiting area. When finally a women showed courage and walked over to me and asked me my name. I told her my first and last she turned and looked at the lable on the bag and went back to serving walk ins. Maybe that wasn't mine. A few more minutes passed when that same woman got the attention of an Asian women she pointed at me with the look of, YOU HELP HIM. The Asian woman came over and asked me my name I told her too my first and last. She looked at the bag and brought me my food. The tag on the bag showed my first name with the letter of my last name. So why wouldn't the fearful women hand me my bag. I already know why, due to the climate of the country. I went home and enjoyed my food. I sat thinking why do people feel that what one group of people do that the entire group does the same thing. We all need to leave our personal differences at the dinner table. The work place is not a place for racist heritage thoughts.

Won't notify when online order is ready. Will notify 30 minutes after online order is ready. Just go in person and order, it's not worth the hassle. All locations are not equal and this one is easily towards the bottom in quality and flavor. If you want ANYTHING that is not on your order but commonly distrubuted such as napkins, utensils, etc, don't expect it unless you are there in person. This is one of those places where it's best to order and pick up in person because they won't put in any effort otherwise.

I will not go back to the store again I ordered some food noodles orange chicken chicken teriyaki I told her that I didn't want no leftover chicken teriyaki because the bowl is empty the little cold and she said well it's all the same I told her no because that's the leftovers I would like some hot one and she didn't and she still gave it to me but I could have refused it but I didn't it was cold it wasn't warm or a little hot but it was my mistake I took it anyway only because I was hungry but I ate a cold yeah I could have went somewhere else but I did it I'm from the Central Valley not from the Bay Area but I will not go back the cash register lady was a little rude but I really did care for her much because I was I told her I but the chicken teriyaki was the left at the bottom of the pit which means left over but she said well it's all the same but I said no it's not but I left it at like I said thank you anyway I will not go back again

Ordered a bigger plate tonight picked it up and got home and found they forgot two out of the three items for the entrées. I’ve ordered with these guys for a few years now and every time it seems that they forget something. I’m very frustrated with this operation. Now they don’t answer their phone, I hope I can get a refund tomorrow but it’ll take another trip over there to talk to the manager. I hate these guys. Update - Yep never got a refund just like I thought. I don’t think I’m gonna order any longer from these people.

First thing we see is food on the counter. The server picks it up with her bare hands and drops it into a different food. Then uses a spoon to get it out of the other bowl. THEN. We get to the counter. She grabs the wrong food. We tell her that it’s the wrong food and point to our food. She (we didn’t realize) rings up all three food items and we pay for all three because the screen doesn’t show us our order because she clicks away from it. (I don’t think she did it on purpose but it still happened) then she starts packing up our food and grab the man’s food (which multiples times we said “that’s not our” “we have the two bowls” and “we didn’t order that” we tel her that’s not ours for about the 7th time and she goes (and I quote) “did you know you paid” we say no. I then ask “can we get a refund” she LITERALLY shrugs and I say “no sorry imma rephrase that. I would like my refund” she then rolls her eyes. Sighs and asks the man (who’s food she charged us for) to pay us in cash for it. We’re like no???? Are u kidding give us a proper refund. (For like 3 minutes she’s talking to like a manager or something ) then they get keys and open the register and give us the cash for his food. We didn’t get the tax back for his food. We have cash we didn’t want because no one uses cash anymore) and they were rude. I’ve never written a bad review before but this was actually so wild

The restaurant is semi clean. But goodness ask for extra food and they give you the dirtiest look. I asked for a fresh batch of fiery chicken breast and kept giving my family dirty looks while we waited. This is the second time this happens here. If you have another option for Chinese, go there and not here.

I got to this location 15 minutes before closing. All I wanted was orange chicken and honey shrimp. Panda Express was almost out of all but 2 dishes (there was 1 or 2 pieces of protein in the other trays). It took a few minutes for me to get served, then the person serving me ran to the register, before scooping my food, to fix the order of another customer that they had messed up. She sent someone down to add more orange chicken to his already full order, nearly finishing the second to last remaining entree BEFORE I got served. I finally get helped again (by now im googling to see if anything else in Alameda is open at at 9:20pm). I ask for the scraps of the orange chicken and the scraps of the honey shrimp, which barely make 1 order. They add my rice, I pay and attempt to leave. I'm 5 steps from the door when the cashier screams at me to come back. She then opens my box to check that my order was not switched with the only other customers, HOWEVER she does this with her bare hands that were just touching money. How gross! I don't expect much from Panda, but to mess up 3 orders in 10 minutes and starve out a customer just to add extra orange chicken to another customer's order (presumably as a peace offering), then to contaminate my food with dirty hands is really low.

The manger is super rude, to employees and customers. They do not give good portions and feels like a rip off. They gave the smallest amount of chow main and barley give a scoop of other things. When you ask them they say thats how it is but its not at others, they are just being cheap. Also when ordering they don't always listen, will grab the wrong item. Wont be going back and will be reporting those who dont keep their mask up over their mouth (and nose) definitely not worth going

Ava the manager was polite and attentive. So was the cashier. Costumer service went accordingly until i asked for a cup of water. The cashier during the shift denied me a cup of water. I went to the beverage station and poured one myself, and everything was fine. Unfortunately Ava (Manager) on duty, being rude and aggressive, responded with a threat. I asked for the district manager's office phone number and hits my phone out of my to the ground. Then said to leave or she'll call the police. A very unexpected and uncomfortable experience. Thanks anyways..

Where should I start. I went with my lady to get a quick meal. Food wasn’t the best quality. I asked for brocoli and beef they only gave me broccoli. The rice was burnt. The orange chicken was barely chewable. The restroom was a a straight horror film and right when I want to leave to use the hand sanitizer, it said 80% alcohol but smells like straight dirty mop water. The place needs to be cleaned up if the bathroom looked like that I can just imagine how the kitchen is. Definitely needs some better management or something.

Not very friendly customer service. Asked for extra soy sauce and got 2 packets instead of 1. Ordered teriyaki chicken and got tasteless grilled chicken with no teriyaki sauce! UPDATE: Absolutely the worst Panda Express in the nation! Staff is rude, do not listen to the orders, Take it as a burden if you ask for any kind of sauce.

I’m new to the area and this is the closest panda to me. Today is the second time I’ve ordered ragoons from here and there was no filling in any one of them AGAIN. An order of 12 is $10, such a waste of money x 2. If there’s no filling, don’t sell them.

Extremely long wait when place wasn't that busy. They didn't have most items so I was ok with waiting. Then I noticed the GrubHub person breeze in and pick up all of the freshly cooked food I was told I had to wait for. Then they asked me to wait another 5 minutes when I had already waited 10 minutes. Seemed rude. I know they probably ordered online but HELLO live cash paying customer here! The tiny woks they are working with are just insanely small and insufficient for the needs of such a restaurant.

Sister ordered the chicken, the staff must have cross contaminated it with peanuts so she started breaking out in hives. She thought she would get better with allergy medicine but my mom is now driving her to the hospital. If you have allergies, don't trust this place with them. Edit: She's also allergic to undercooked chicken so this is another possibility to what caused her allergic reaction.

They close early or open late inconsistently. Ordered online and the store closed early.. Won’t let anyone talk about getting refund or canceling the orders. Transaction still posted on my card despite not getting my food. Feels like a total scam. Avoid this branch with incompetent management.

The worst Panda Express!! Employee’s are rude and deaf as hell. Yelling at each other over orders. There portions of food is ridiculous and not to mention the ugliness of putting your food in the plate. Service is terrible and management should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this. Every single one of them should be fired. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Management should get them all hearing aids.

Literally the worst panda express I've ever been too. Been there three times and they've messed up my order every single time. If by chance you are still tempted to go here, never order online or delivery. I showed up to pick up my order and they made me wait with my two kids for 30 minutes after my expected pick up time. Each employee just kept passing it on to someone else. Eventually the gave me AN order..... it wasn't my order. But I was in such a rush to get out of there at that point that I didn't think to double check. Today we ordered delivery and it came back wrong and shaken up. No sauces . The broccoli beef was only broccoli and the chow mein was so oily. Never again!!!

It's been going downhill for a while with frequent burnt chow mein and poor food quality. Today was the worst: my container is clearly labeled as the white rice and orange chicken that I ordered but there isn't any chicken inside. I called and they said they can't deliver a replacement and I'd have to wait on hold to get a refund because the manager is too busy.

So these are the new bowls for the bowl meal. You businessmen are something else! Giving less food for more money! I only eat this shhh when I’m in a rush. Business is not going to last with these horrible strategies. I hope people are not desperate enough to fall for these swindling schemes. Shame on this place!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE….Im usually not one to write reviews but this did it for me today. I was politely asking the lady to simply add more of one item than another (I wouldn’t care if I paid more) but she didn’t really understand me, so after repeating myself, she rolled her eyes and didn’t follow through what I had asked her to plate (photo below). She had no intention of providing good customer service. I wish I remembered her name to write it on here but just don’t waste your time coming here. It’s not worth it!

During each visit the people that work there are always rude. They rush customers through the line and appear to be very short patient. The never provide condiments when asked. The storage containers are with plastic wear are not clean.

Not what I ordered. I ordered 3 entrees and 2 sides. I got 1 entree and the food is cold. Horrible.

It's been going downhill for a while with frequent burnt chow mein and poor food quality. Today was the worst: my container is clearly labeled as the white rice and orange chicken that I ordered but there isn't any chicken inside. I called and they said they can't deliver a replacement and I'd have to wait on hold to get a refund because the manager is too busy.

Literally the worst panda express I've ever been too. Been there three times and they've messed up my order every single time. If by chance you are still tempted to go here, never order online or delivery. I showed up to pick up my order and they made me wait with my two kids for 30 minutes after my expected pick up time. Each employee just kept passing it on to someone else. Eventually the gave me AN order..... it wasn't my order. But I was in such a rush to get out of there at that point that I didn't think to double check. Today we ordered delivery and it came back wrong and shaken up. No sauces . The broccoli beef was only broccoli and the chow mein was so oily. Never again!!!

So these are the new bowls for the bowl meal. You businessmen are something else! Giving less food for more money! I only eat this shhh when I’m in a rush. Business is not going to last with these horrible strategies. I hope people are not desperate enough to fall for these swindling schemes. Shame on this place!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE….Im usually not one to write reviews but this did it for me today. I was politely asking the lady to simply add more of one item than another (I wouldn’t care if I paid more) but she didn’t really understand me, so after repeating myself, she rolled her eyes and didn’t follow through what I had asked her to plate (photo below). She had no intention of providing good customer service. I wish I remembered her name to write it on here but just don’t waste your time coming here. It’s not worth it!

Man! Y'all need to put more attention on handling food. My dinner was going well until I encountered this hair on my Kung pao chicken 🤢 I was feeling lucky that the food was tasting really well from other times that I have gone but just to go into disappointment again!

The most ridiculous and uncomprehending staff I have ever dealt with. The short asian manager with glasses made it even more hell once she tool over the line. Continuously trying to pressure me to “scan the barcode to get the app” when i have stated twice that I ALREADY HAVE IT. The continues to try to pressure on the new drink and i made it clear i just only want a fountain drink…
