Oakland United Beerworks Oakland Reviews
Good beer selection. The bar when you enter is small but upstairs has a lot of seating. Only challenge can be if there are groups doing their board games then you may have to be outside. But the garlic noodles getting made by the pop-up food tent smell amazing, will try them next time.
Best beer in Oakland. Mainly due to the variety of different styles of beer, And excellent quality.
Nice beer selections, great staff, pleasant atmosphere and dogs on site ❤️❤️❤️
Great beer and great people. Stop by if you're looking for staff who will love to chat, and beer you'll love to enjoy. My favorite is to come in after work and hang outside with a Proper Hooligan by the gas fire pits and read.
Made a special trip to the Oakland United Brewery as a stop on our girls trip. The service was friendly, chatting with the other patrons at the bar was really fun, and the beer was delicious. We couldn’t resist a flight to try them all!
Awesome placevto experience amazing craft beers while meeting seriously cool people. Great relaxed vibe where Chris and the whole team make you feel like a welcome regular from the first minute byou walk in! (Definitely try the Lager! )
So I stopped in on a recommendation from a friend. I am new to the area and was looking for a new favorite brewery to call home. There are a lot of breweries in this area and others that are closer to my home. Upon arrival on a Sunday, I was asked if They could get me something. I looked around a lot and I guess that was a clue that I had never been there. We discussed what I normally drink and that led to samples of different types of beers. I tried several. The one I really wanted to try was not available. I think that the beer sticker on my phone and the beer shirt I was wearing was a clue that I am not a rookie and that I support the breweries I like. He cracked a can of the one I wanted tobtry and gave me a sample, good thing he did because I bought that one too. Three four packs later, I left. I wanted to buy a shirt but I will save that for next time. I was greeted with kindness from the beginning and I will surely return. Maybe the next purchase will be a keg for my house. Thanks OU for your welcoming to the neighborhood.
Great place with a solid selection of beers. Something for everyone. Their black lager was prob my fav. Tres Chiles stout was a close second. Great music, and the bartender (I think his name is Jay) was awesome - super informative and excited to share his beer knowledge.
We had a great time here! Eric was so friendly and helpful. He asked about the types of beers we usually like and gave us samplers to try. The paradise found sour is so delicious. Since the other two sours were not available on tap, Eric made us a custom four pack with two of each so we could try them at home. Great beers and even better service!
So good Brewpub in SanFransico. Must visit ^___* Soft Pretzel is so fantansic. Happy to visit here.
Loved their new location and, of course, the beer was great! Staff really know their stuff and were a joy to be around. So interesting to go to the upper level and see all the equipment.
Simply great place stays in place. Here again after a few months and loved it. Again. Try the Scrum-ptious Gator West Coast IPA!
Came here for the first time August 2022. This place is fantastic! Excellent selection of beer, great atmosphere and exceptional service!
Get a flight! Great deal, more beer than typical, and custom trays are really nice. The beer is excellent as you’d expect from a small brewery like this. A gem in the East Bay!
Went to the grand opening this weekend. Definitely a great location inside and out. They are fully open even though there is some construction fencing that might block the facade. The black lager, the tribute and the pilsner. Update: bar-back kept grabbing my butt. Will return.
Great beer, on Fridays excellent tacos and the guy running the place is just as he should be: keeping his distance if you want to be on your own and social if you want to have a chat

I love this brewery! It is so refreshing to go somewhere that doesn't just have 20 IPAs. The vibes are chill but fun, the upstairs with its games is great, and the owner is super nice and accommodating. He was passing out free samples of their new beer. There are food trucks on the weekend as well as regular events. Having been to almost all of the breweries in the Bay, I'd rate the overall quality S tier. Most of the competition is boring and frankly not great. This place and Tenma have been the most impressive of the East Bay establishments I've tried. If you're in the area and looking for a place to hang out for a little bit and grab a beer or two you can't go wrong. Highly recommended!
Great beer. Staff and owners are just so nice. Boardgames and shuffleboard upstairs. Canned tall boys for sale as 4-packs. Themed nights and events throughout the month. Fundraisers for great causes. Food trucks/tents are on a casual rotating schedule out on the curb. I could not recommend this place more.
Great local brewery with spectacular beer. Loved the tasting, the history lesson about the brewery and learning more about the craft. The New Oakland Glow (Pilsner) and the Sleeping Car Giants (Baltic Porter) are our favorites. For now ….
We hosted the welcome drinks for our wedding weekend here, and the Oakland United staff was incredible. Kristen was so easy to work with leading up to the event, and both she and Chris were there the night of, chatting with our friends and family all evening. We were so proud to show all of our guests one of our favorite breweries, and everyone loved all the drinks. I would highly recommend booking an event here, it was such a highlight of our wedding weekend.

We stopped in for a beer on our honeymoon and loved the upstairs area to play some fun games and sand shuffle board! The beers were delicious and they had great service. It was a warm day and the airflow wasn’t great upstairs or down so that’s the only negative but we’ll definitely be back for more beers!
