Some of the best drinks I’ve had, excellent service and a very cool atmosphere. I would highly recommend their agave based drinks and particularly the 30mm. Was absolutely blown away by everything I drank.

I would have given this a 3 star if it wasn’t for the effort of the bartender, Allea (sp?). The place has a club vibe, a chill place for dates- not a dive bar per we, a chilly cocktail bar if that. I came in, sat at the bar. It took a few minute for any of the bar staff to acknowledge me. I looked over their menu and requested the rye rapture. The bartender gave me honest feedback, and by request made me a cocktail which they believed was the essence of the menu item and what I wanted. It was alright. They later came back and let me try the chamomile bitters (in the rye rapture, to my curiosity) and an Aztec chocolate bitters not on the menu. I feel like they caught on to my skepticism about the drink, my inquiry, and wanted to show me what the bar could offer. They ended up making me an Oaxaca Old Fashion which was spicy and Smokey in the right ways. Like any big city bar, you need to come in and interact intentionally, good bar staff will interact accordingly- at least that’s what I believe.

They have a lot of interesting cocktail options, and the atmosphere is good. I would say the drinks are slightly overpriced. That's my only complaint. I got the Arctic Elixir. If you're into anise and similar flavors, you'll like it.

This place is great for having a big party and wanting to bring them in to a basically private hangout! We had a group of 12 and were promptly seated in our own private area immediately with a Yelp reservation we had to expand last minute - you can't find this kind of place without paying some big bucks somewhere else and I appreciated how kind and attentive the waitress was! The drinks were unique too - I had a drink, the sweet paradise, that even was burned right in front of us to get the fresh taste of herbs while drinking. Overall very cool intimate evening vibes and a good place to sit for drinks - the speakeasy part adds a lot to the experience too.

Stephanie is a knowledgeable, accommodating, and excellent bartender who made sure we had a great time at this bar. It's atmosphere was subdued and accommodating. It's menu was so diverse and unique, the fungal fusion being the standout in what we tried.

I had such a great experience at Persona! I was greeted right when I walked in by my bartender, Queenie, who was super attentive and conversational. She also recommended some delicious cocktails. I got the Sultry Starlet, which was super refreshing and my boyfriend got the Intersection, which had Thai tea in it. Super cool! I’ll definitely come back again.

I love persona! Came here with my girlfriend for the first time and had the best cocktails and excellent customer service. The bartender Queenie and Jonathan made us feel really welcomed and special. There was also a live band and they are so cool. Latin vibes! Definitely recommend this bar.

Persona is by far my favorite cocktail bar in the city. Ive tried so many drinks on their menu, and there hasn’t been one that I didn’t like. They also have happy hour on weekdays, and music on certain days. Aliah greeted us during our very first visit and provided helpful recommendations - she’s always so friendly and glad to see her every time I come back!

I’ve been searching for a chill Sunday night spot until I found out that Persona had free live music on Sunday nights. Turns out I recognized the local SF musicians on Sundays—they play Latin jazz, salsa, even some pop covers (with a Latin feel). They have an extensive cocktail menu, and shoutout to the bartenders Marcus and Queenie who were both friendly and provided great service. Sunday nights are a great night to hang with friends at the private booth, or for a date night by the bar. It’s not as crowded as a Friday or Saturday night, but has a nice mix of good atmosphere great for having conversations. Thanks Marcus and Queenie!

I had such a great experience at Persona. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between stylish and relaxed, with great music, cozy lighting, and an energy that feels both lively and intimate. A huge part of what made the night special was the bartender, Aliah. She was absolutely fantastic. Not only is she incredibly friendly and attentive, but she also clearly knows her craft.

Had a great experience here and wanted to give a shoutout to Dragos, the bartender. He was super friendly and made really great drinks. You can tell he enjoys what he does and it shows in the service. Honestly one of the better bar experiences I’ve had in a while. If you go, definitely sit at the bar when Dragos is working.

I was visiting San Francisco from New York and stumbled upon a cool, underground cocktail bar in Nob Hill. Vibes were classy and my bartender Queenie was the sweetest girl. She was super knowledgeable about the menu items and recommended the Green Door (matcha!) cocktail. It was so good I had 3! Thanks so much, Queenie.

If you’re lucky enough to have her craft your drink, your experience instantly levels up. She’s warm, effortlessly welcoming, and makes high-end, impeccably smooth cocktails tailored exactly to your taste. Truly great energy all around. If you’re in SF, this spot is not to be missed.

the opposite of a dive bar, the ambiance persona has to offer is well kept and a perfect place for a date. Intimate and quiet vibe on the weekdays, lively and buzzing on weekends. The drinks are all great here. Especially the staff, especially Jonathan was so friendly and so handsome.

Aliah consistently makes every visit a great experience. She’s welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about her craft. Every drink she makes is perfectly balanced and creative, you can tell she knows her spirits and isn’t afraid to experiment with fun twists. Love being a regular here

Persona is one of my favorite places to go after work and with my coworkers. I love seeing my favorite bartenders, Juan and Queenie who both work very hard. The drinks are great and the pool table is a great touch.

I always have a great night at Persona! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is on point: stylish but still relaxed, with a great crowd and live music that adds to the atmosphere without overpowering it. The drinks were fantastic, seriously well-balanced and beautifully presented, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. Marcus, our bartender, was incredible! He was friendly, attentive, and clearly knows his craft. He made thoughtful recommendations based on what we liked, checked in at the right times, and kept the energy upbeat all night. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure guests have a good experience. It’s rare to find a spot where both the drinks and the service are consistently excellent, but Persona absolutely delivers thanks to bartenders like Marcus. I’ll definitely be back and hoping to see him there!

One of my favorite spots in the city! I’d honestly come here just for the matcha drink alone, it’s the best. Their popcorn is also a fave I never skip. The vibe here is solid…great energy, stylish atmosphere, and amazing music always by DJ VINC3. The music is a perfect volume so you can easily enjoy a convo with a date. Highly recommend Persona if you’re looking for a great spot to enjoy drinks and even better music.

It was very nicely made, delicious in a complex and expensive way, and garnished with beautiful flowers. I recommend coming here on Friday or the weekend to get a different/more fun vibe.

Cute underground bar with lots of persona! They had Halloween decorations up & different rooms to sit at. Service was great. Cocktails were okay. I got the fungi old fashioned. It just tasted like a regular old fashioned with a piece of mushroom in it. Will have to come back to try more of their drinks, cheers!

Nice setting and good drinks. Personally recommend, I Love Yolanda, with no serrano pepper- sweet, smooth w/slight zest. Will say when looking online I had booked a reservation thinking it was necessary. There was plenty of seating available, atop of that I didn't see any sort of direction to be seated at the reserved tables. Been looking to try it out and would be back, enjoyed the high quality service from the bartenders.

This place has great cocktails. I really liked their concept. The ambience is great. But the service effort is what really stands out. The lady taking care of us made the effort of getting the cocktail how we wanted and gave us different options. The music was mostly electronic and the DJ mixed very well.

Came here with one of my friends on a Thursday night. The cocktails were good and as someone who works in the industry I was taken back by how extensive their cocktail menu was 👏 The place had a dj but besides the two of us there was about 5 other people there so the atmosphere felt kinda dead. There was a male and female bartender taking care of us. The drinks were decent and presented well. I would say we were made feel a bit unwelcome at one point once my friend and i’s conversation turned to talking about gay dating life. There was a weird vibe almost as if they were asking us to leave without actually asking us. The female bartender would keep saying “is there anything else I can get for you guys” and as I work in the industry I know that’s code for can I get you the check without actually saying it lol. On top of that they started breaking down the bar much earlier than advertised opening hours. which I get it was quiet and they wanted to go home but it felt like we were rushed out.
