The ultimate cheeseburger looked and tasted good with lots of sauce.

I was cutting across Geary Blvd like I owned it...It was just after 6am as I pulled up to the Jack in the Box, and I knew right away I'd be in for a treat! It was Barnicle Bob the Boatsman's Mate on the Trawler Fibber Jack that told me about the best breakfast sandwich ever. He said get there when they first open..talk to the cook directly and get the grilled sourdough bacon, egg and cheese sandwich like you make for Barnicle Bob every day. It's not not on the menu..but it should be...It's Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆

Our 1st experience at Jack. Front counter staff was very helpful as we decided on what to try. Food came out quickly, hot and very fresh ingredients. We're looking forward to trying more of what Jack in the Box has to offer during future visits to the West Coast.

All was good just was really hard to find a parking spot to leave the car to order food. In front of stoy all parking areas was painted red! All there is downtown should be the way people be able park to order food. That night I fund a motel room to book online by 68$ but the parking was 50$.

The staff is always friendly and kind to all demographics from what I can see. Reasonably priced unlike most other fast foods in the city.

We came to Zingari Steakhouse and Pasta Bar with a large group for a work event and had a great time. The ambiance was welcoming, the staff was attentive, and the wine selection was excellent. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. We had salads, rigatoni, bruschetta, toasted bread with burrata and fig, and of course the steaks — everything was delicious. Highly recommend for both group events and a great dining experience overall.

We had our work dinner at Zingari’s yesterday. The service was excellent and the food was great. My favorite dish was the bruschetta with fig and prosciutto. I definitely would go back!

Ty made the best drinks tonight and was an amazing bartender. His cadilac Espressotini Was probably the best we have ever had. He is a definite asset to this restaurant and we will come back because of him. The appetizers were great, but really it came down to the service we got at the bar. As a side note, the music was amazing.

I had some business on Lombard Street, and did much better than I expected so I decided to go downtown and get some pasta, I was going to go see Wingfoot Charlie but missed my street, and did an illegal left turn and ended up right in front of Zingari Steakhouse & Pasta Restaurant...what luck! I was in the mood for some seafood pasta, so I asked for something resembling scampi and a baguette, and they sure delivered...home run all the way! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

I chose to visit here yesterday after arriving for the Dreamforce conference. I ordered the Rigatoni con Salsiccia it was perfect. I am very picky when it comes to pasta. The sauce to pasta ratio is a fine line, and they hit it. I also enjoyed the Old Fashioned with the walnut bitters, also very tasty.

Thank you guys for everything. The service was amazing. Everyone we met in there working was soooo friendly and amazing! And the food was the absolute best! Super delicious and amazing. We are from Nevada and were in town visiting for our anniversary, the whole staff made us feel so special. Vibe was super intimate and perfect.

Zingari Steakhouse & Pasta Bar delivers an impressive dining experience anchored by exceptional Italian cuisine and outstanding service. The standout feature here is undoubtedly the pasta - authentically prepared with sauce that achieves absolute perfection. Each bite transports you straight to Italy with its rich, well-balanced flavors that clearly demonstrate the kitchen’s expertise and attention to traditional techniques. The team at Zingari deserves special recognition. From the moment you walk in, the staff creates a welcoming atmosphere with their professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for the food they’re serving. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to make recommendations enhances the overall dining experience significantly. While the restaurant’s name suggests equal emphasis on both steak and pasta, the steak falls into “solid but unremarkable” territory. It’s certainly not bad - but it doesn’t quite reach the exceptional heights of their pasta offerings. For a steakhouse, this feels like a missed opportunity to truly excel in both specialties.

We love coming to Zingari! Family owned and upscale vibe - Fancy dinner for a special occasion or even a chill night out when the wife is in the mood for a combo of Italian food and modern variety with a date night ambience. Food is spectacular - I love it when our family goes together because then we get to try an assortment of appetizers like the truffle and honey bruschetta, bruschetta al pomodoro, and crostini fichi with figs and honey! While my family loves the tried and true dishes like the salmon and fillet mignon, my wife and I are always in the mood for a different pasta.. they have a lot of options and they change occasionally so there’s always something fun to try. But one thing we all definitely agree on is the meatballs… suuuper yum and we always order more. The service…absolutely next level. Staff is super friendly, warm, delightful, and unbelievably above and beyond. We dined there on Thanksgiving once, and I had to make Mac n cheese for a potluck the next day and totally forgot to get… the cheese 🤦🏻‍♂️And all grocery stores were closed! When I asked the server for recommendations, the owner came back with 2 cups of Parmesan cheese for me to take home - no joke!!! Unreal!! I was blown away. And while I don’t expect most folks to run into that unique scenario, something more realistic is how they’re always happy to customize the pasta even when what you’re in the mood for isn’t quite on the menu! Highly recommend!!

While on our date, my wife and I stopped by Zingari Steakhouse & Past Bar in San Francisco, and the experience was fantastic. The vibe was both comfortable and classy, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, so the food came out fast, adding to the chill and intimate atmosphere. With light, soothing music playing in the background, the ambiance was set for a memorable night. I ordered the flaming mignon well done, juicy, and served with an amazing, chef’s special sauce that truly impressed me. My wife had the salmon, and she couldn’t stop raving about how perfectly cooked and flavorful it was. The owner even took the time to come over, chat about the city, and offer some local tips, which made us feel really welcome. Overall, it was a 10 out of 10 experience, and we’re already planning our next visit.

I enjoyed dining at Zingari on Christmas Day evening. As a solo diner, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at ease. The atmosphere was enchanting, and live music set the perfect tone for the evening. The four-dish Christmas set was exquisite, with each dish a beautiful blend of flavors. What made the experience even more special was the opportunity to connect with another solo diner, sharing delightful conversations in such a cozy ambiance. To top it off, Mr. Miglani, the Managing Director of Zingari, graciously shared a selection of his special wines with us and the fascinating stories behind the vineyards. This was my first visit to Zingari, and it certainly won’t be my last. I want to thank the team for creating such a memorable and heartwarming evening. Highly recommended!

Came in not knowing what to expect as I was staying next door. Leaving having had one of the best dinner experiences thus far. Service and knowledge provided by Leon was impeccable, service alone would make me want to come back. Now on to the food; every dish we had was absolutely perfect. Our drinks were just as good. Tiramisú, yes please. HIGHLY reccomended. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful place. Great service. You do have to pay an extra charge ($20) to enter their room where they have the jazz/piano player. Even if you don’t choose to do that (we didn’t because it was booked out) the other room that you sit in is gorgeous. The service is excellent, the food is great and the cocktails are phenomenal.

Came here late at night, to my amazement they made a nice burger. Took ages to get served, I think all the servers thought all the people in the line were just killing time. The burger was fresh made and hot with fresh ingredients. Nice taste and for an Aussie the small combo is a large meal.

Surprisingly good - try the buttery jack so creamy and buttery and good! The service is quite fast and the food is also fairly good for a fast-food price. Not ashamed to admit it but I had this for lunch for 4 days straight! Place could be slightly cleaner though although it is by no means dirty.

A recent stay at the Donatello prompted us to dine in at Zinagari. We were a bit early for dinner service but the wait staff at the bar was very pleasant and sat us at a table. The jazz music was a nice touch. We ordered a glass of red wine it was excellent. We started with the polipo carpaccio. It was perfectly sliced seasoned and fresh. For main course we ordered the seafood angioletti. It was good although the creamy sauce with corn a bit unconventional. We also ordered the bread service. While tasty as far as garlic bread goes it is not a traditional bread. I agree with other reviews, surprisingly $$$$. It did help that our drinks were 1/2 price due to Happy Hour. Staff was very friendly and since it wasn’t busy everything arrived in a timely manner.

Was craving an early Italian dinner and made my way to Zingaria based on location and reviews. They seemed surprised by my arrival and passed me around before seating me in a dining room with a few other solo diners and one couple. Overall the experience, service, and food were good but not quite what one hopes for. Food wise far and away the best thing I tried was the namesake entree: fettuccini alla Zingari (prawns, garlic, white wine, lemon caper, smoked tomato, Calabrian chili). The biggest fail was the still frozen tiramisu.

I made a reservation for Christmas, but I didn't have dinner until an hour later. I came alone, but I made friends with another solo diner and we shared a table. It was also easier for them to serve us together. The place was very busy and so I missed most of the jazz from the dining room, but since I waited at the bar, I heard it there. The staff was very friendly, but very busy. The owner was very generous and took care of our drinks. He honoured us with a private tasting of his personal collections of wine and gave us a gift of olive oil. Even though I spent way more time than originally planned there, it was a great experience and I recommend sitting at the bar to wait for your reservation. It's not the easiest for a solo person - it is more well suited for small to large groups (with a reservation).

First time eating jack-in-the-Box and honestly I didn't really taste the food much, not because it was necessarily bad or anything, I just wish I had gotten it to go. I was so sketched out by the other people around and was scarfing down the food to get out as quick as possible. I went to other restaurants in the area and the inside was normal and felt safe, but this particular Jack-in-the-box did not have that same feel. This part of the city in general made me so uncomfortable even walking around in daytime I was extremely on guard. So if you want to get food here either get it via a food delivery service or get it to go.

The burger is really good, way better than the big burger chains. The curled fries were a surprise (probably for us, who came from Europe). The only detail that pushed us back, was the prices. Do not trust the prices they have on display on the back top or the kitchen. We were charged more than that.

This is a really interesting place to be late at night in downtown San Francisco. The personnel are friendly it's just a weird vibe hard to explain. Felt safe and the food is good, just an after dinner snack.

Our server Tyler, also the mixologist was amazing; knowledgeable, informative and very proactive and attentive. The Cadillac Espressotini and Lemoncello Drops were DELICIOUS!!!!! And the piano player was amazing! The food tasted delicious as well.... BUT..... My group of 4 ordered all together, waited about 30 mins. and when we all got our food, my husband's was wrong. They were out of what he wanted and he had to reorder something else; which took another 30 mins..... Everyone else was done eating before his food came out. For the prices for the food, AND having to pay $15 a person to listen to the live piano, sadly, I feel like it wasn't quite worth the price for everything. The lack of communication and efficiency from the kitchen drops my rating greatly for this place. Not likely to come here again, except for the drinks from Tyler only. Our bill was almost $400 after everything and thats after getting a round of free drinks a 10% discount for their mess up. NOT WORTH IT.

Fraudulent pricing. The meal I ordered is listed at $11.99 I had the regular combo swapped for seasoned fries .60 upcharge... Somehow the total before tax was $15.38... the math doesn't math...

I had the chicken nuggets and they were really tasty. Someone in my party had the chicken strips and it was a ripoff, $18 for dry chicken. The burgers were delicious! Service was really disappointing, staff were paying a attention but they were at least fast. The atmosphere was terrible because of the construction and it was really dark but maybe it will be better once they finish the job.

Located in the heart of union square with upscale shopping and 5 ⭐️ restaurants. The decor is dated and a tired for the chic area. The private room “ The Terrace” does not resemble the website depiction, as it was located on the 4th floor down a hall of random unmarked rooms. The decors looked like a 60’s conference room with cables hanging from the ceiling , old poster pictures on the wall and a tattered American flag in the corner.. It was not the representation I wanted for my business guests. It’s family owned which was reflected in the personal service but the food and atmosphere at least for private events does not come close to the competition and certainly does not reflect the chic dining of San Francisco. I do not recommend.

The service was decent, but the food was horrible. Not sure if I was just unlucky that day, but it was really bad. The tacos were uneatable, beyond disgusting. Mind you that it says munchie meal and not even high I could enjoy it.

Terrible is an understatement for this place. Every order from both locations on Geary have been wrong every single time. Doesn't matter if it's delivered or take out, it sucks. I've spoken to the GM and then went back after a month; same old bs. If you must have Jacks, go to the Bayshore location, better food, better service; there is a reason the line goes down the block at this spot!

Hecka Gross now.it should be zero stars.my burger bun was burnt the burger had a whole bunch of mustard and it was sloppy and gross. Who ever prepared bother burger left catchup/mustard prints on the white paper that wrapped the burger i mean cmon. Epic fail.. i would have fired someone foe doing that. The location and service were great up until I received my order and pointed out the excessive amount of sauces. Then I got an attitude from the cashier who said it wasn't his job to hear complaints and then called the cook so I could tell her. Then she gave me an attitude and said, "Okay, next time." Save your money or eat at Pinecrest across the street. They are delicious!

They never got my order correct the last 10+ times I've ordered here. They fix my order when I get the wrong items or missing items, but it would be great if the order was correct the first time they made it...

J

They completely did my uber eats order wrong. Just because it's a late night order does not make it okay to serve customers with completely incorrect orders. It came falling apart with lettuce on top of a hamburger bun? Come on. Seriously? Don't order from this store.

Good food but their Christmas menu is wrong--the waiter said it was a "typo!" The menu states four course offering for $120, but the waiter said AFTER that it was only three courses for $120. Although the food was good, this really feels more criminal. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you feel you're getting ripped off, despite if the food is good or not. They need to fix their menu. UPDATE: Owner of Zingari replied to my review but they clearly did NOT read my review. I’ll repeat: the WAITER SAID IT WAS A TYPO. THE WAITER SAID THAT IT WAS 3 COURSES.

Matthew Kramer

Booked a group dinner at Zingari and was later hit with a $300 cancellation fee despite canceling a full week in advance. Their written cancellation policy says cancellations made 7 days prior incur $50 per person, but the restaurant waited until late at night exactly 7 days before to send me undisclosed “minimums” and fee-heavy menu options — well after I had already requested cancellation multiple times. Then, even after confirming I would not be attending, they processed a charge anyway. This restaurant operates on hidden fees, last-minute fine print, and refusal to honor clear cancellation requests. It feels intentionally deceptive — presenting normal reservations as flexible, then turning them into expensive “contracts.” If you value transparency or professionalism, avoid this place. There are plenty of honest, quality Italian restaurants in San Francisco that won’t treat guests like this.
