I ordered a turkey sandwich, expecting some healthy lame little deli meat cuts. My sandwich arrived stuffed and JUICY, and the bird had been beautifully roasted and clearly treated with care!! It was real turkey, not the little deli slices! This was the best turkey sandwich I’ve ever had, 5 stars, would return and eat again 100%

I grew up with parents and uncles who had pizza/sun/deli places on the East Coast. This is the best sandwich spot in the city. The layering is correct, the portions of ingredients are proportionate to the sandwich, everything is fresh, and they make things quick. I discovered this place after living here 14 years and can’t believe it took this long!

Best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had in my life. It reminds me of old school SF local diner - quality ingredients, no frills, great product and good staff. I grew up in the city and only recently learned of this hidden gem. Adding to my list of fav restaurants

Stopped in for a quick bite while waiting for a procedure at UCSF. If I had weight, cholesterol or heart issues I would have ordered a salad. With my culinary green light, I ordered the BACON CHEESE STEAK. It was fantastic! Tasty, hot and fast, Pete’s nailed it. A classic deli experience that is certainly worth a try!

4-1/2 out of 5 stars. The falafel sandwich ($9.99) was delicious! Great balance of fried chickpeas, vegetables, and sauce. A bit pricey for a deli, where I usually look for cheaper meal options, but well worth the price for this item. But $18 for a 12" sandwich..? I'm not sure about that. It'd better really be the best sandwich in the city.

Ordered the standard cheesesteak & fries. Quality and taste was super average to below average. WAY over priced, shouldn't have to pay $30+ for a philly, fries and a drink at lunch. Good local atmosphere though

The breakfast was below avg. Like a cheap motels' pancakes and eggs. And it's halfway to 2025 and they still have masks required signs. . Unimpressed

Food is ok not nothing special not price friendly at all spent 35 on a 12 inch steak and mushroom sandwich they said they had curly fries but I guess it was a language barrier then I asked for cheese on the curly fries I got regular fries with shredded cheese on top terrible

Ordered a Ruben paid $20 for a sandwich with one slice of meat ..Breakfast wow the hash browns were frozen store bought?? Over priced for what you expect..

Overpriced, bad food, and the staff tries to aggressively push upsells on you against your desires even when you are perfectly clear about the item you want. If you want a good sandwich with friendly service, there’s a little bodega two blocks due east. This place is only here to rip off people near the Mt. Zion hospital complex who don’t know better.
