Superior Palace Alameda Reviews
Authentic Chinese Food that leverage both Cantonese and Sichuan Cuisine. The host and chief are both friendly with generous amount of food per dish. Recommended for everyone.
Very very authentic Cantonese restaurant. The owners are very welcoming and introduced a lot of classic and authentic dishes. If you are looking for a good authentic Cantonese restaurant this is the one, and their signature dish for chicken wings is really delicious.
Yummy home style Chinese food. Our waiter was very nice and efficient. The food came out extremely fast! We don't live on this side of the City but would definitely return!
What an awesome place to eat with local friends. Staff were very pleasant and even played with the kids. The Hong Kong crab was delicious, my 1st time eating that dish. Fresh and super good. I'd enjoyed different dishes that I never had before. Highly recommend this place for everyone! Definitely would come back when I'm visiting the city.
Weylen Was the best server. He was so kind and attentive and cared about the food allergy at the table. The Cantonese dinner special is amazing for the price!! 2 people and 5 plates for $41! You can’t beat that!!
Surprisingly a gem in the Richmond neighborhood. Tasty food and not expensive menu if you order from the menu with lunch and dinner specials. The portions are big. They also give you free soup and peanuts when you dine and oranges at the end of dinner.
This place is decent, their shrimp wonton soup is great, so many wontons and a good amount of shrimp too! Restaurant is clean, bathrooms are clean and staff attentive. My food was fresh and piping hot when it came out. It’s in the Richmond about half a block from Balboa theater. This entire meal pictured was $32

I love this place, they were very nice, warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.
Went for the wings and was not disappointed! The bbq pork fried rice also really stood out to me, you could really taste the smokiness of the pork, delicious! The dry fried spicy chicken wings were perfectly fried, moist, and flavorful. The sesame chicken was also cooked to perfection, next time will try a beef plate or lemon chicken. Definitely want to come back with a bigger group so we can order more dishes!
I don’t write a review unless it is exceptionally good! A restaurant like this is a gem in the city. If you would like to taste the authentic crab.chicken wing and others. You should not miss it! The interior is not crystal shining but it is not important when the food is on the table. The restroom is very clean though. So 5 star. Taste yourself
Had the sesame chicken and honey walnut shrimp. Service was great, place was clean, staff was friendly, and food was great
Good for take out. Must call ahead. Last time I was here they were cash only.
We had the westlake minced beef soup, salt and pepper pork ribs, cauliflower and pork, broccoli and beef, sweet and sour chicken wings, and a chicken fried rice. Everything was delicious, seasoned well, and not too greasy! We were a group of four adults and there were lots of leftovers.
If you love to eat and make your money worth it. This is the place to go. Good quality of food. And the staffs are hard working and fast service.
Wonderful food. Delicious. Very kind staff. The meal deal for two was an incredible deal.
Went here Monday night with my wife and daughter after seeing the sights at the california academy of sciences. i'm a new york chinatown person, grew up in a cantonese household and would go to seafood restaurants to eat foods that we didn't make at home. This place rocks. We ordered the crab and fish maw soup. the best that we've had. we also had clams in black bean sauce which was delicious the roast duck was served with an amazing duck sauce (perfectly balanced, sweet with spice and acid) Beef chow fun was delicious Greens were great. Place was clean and the bathrooms were awesome

I have come here and Eaten here few times, we have always enjoyed the food here, I ordered the roasted chicken (it was lovely crispy) with special sauce, and my husband ordered the sautéed rock cod and a special dish of steamed tofu with ground chicken and shrimp over it . It was so so good.

Entirely ordinary Cantonese food except for the chicken wings, which are excellent and delicious - make sure to let your server know you want them as soon as you sit down.
This is a tough rating. If you know what you're getting, it's great. If not, you may be disappointed. The eating area was pretty clean, although they had set dirty dishes and things on the table they sat us at and they moved them without bringing new things to set the table......little sketchy with the cleanliness there. The bathroom wasn't terribly clean either. As for the food, it took some getting used to. I have never had "real" Asian/Chinese food before, but from what I've had explained, this us what I imagine. It's not Americanized Asian food. It is more simple, a little bland, fewer ingredients than what American food has. But it's got flavor if you can learn to like it quick, or if that's your taste. The menu was tough for me. There are many choices and they are not described much. It basically just lists what it is, sometimes that is fairly self explanatory, sometimes it's not.
Food is freaking great! Okay, Ive mainly ordered take out from here… usually a protein over rice. Mongolian beef is my absolute favorite from here. Im happy they kept pricing fair over the decades. Its busy over weekend, they usually have large families dining in and always have crabs available. One thing for certain is there sauces, flavoring or marinating of meats is always a joy to eat! The service is cool, it can be better or maybe Im just impatient :/
I simply ordered Mu Shu pork to go. I'll start out by saying the food was great, and instead of the 6 pancakes normally given, I ended up getting 10. Had I known I would have asked for additional plum sauce and gladly paid for it. It was a slow weeknight and the food for 6 to 8 people who were there looked good too. The reason I didn't rate them higher was because of the difficulty getting them to take my order. I first came inside to place my order and the people working there saw me and kept doing whatever they were doing. I stood there for at least 5 to 7 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me. So, I walked out and looked around to figure out where else I could go. I live in the area and knew that there were options. After about 10 minutes I decided to give them another chance. I walked in and once again stood there. This time, within a few minutes, a woman came to help me. I placed my order and was told it would be ready in 17 minutes. Why 17 minutes I have no clue. I came back in 17 minutes and it was already sitting there ready. I will order from them again. I don't give up on small businesses in my area and I'll try another dish.
