The Bird Alameda Reviews
Wow superb gem, gracias! Unlike typical touristic restaurants, really full of hospitality...warmly welcoming a solo Asian traveller with no reservation...while supporting English menu and communication, which makes it easier for foreign tourists. Had ceviche verde with Modelo Negro beer and a glass of Italian white wine, accompanied by bread with butter and crispy tortillas. I believe I was simply lucky - as the tables got full soon I suppose it's safer to book a table ahead if you come with 2 or 3 persons Couldn't have been better, was of real impress!
I had mussels in white wine sauce, apple strudel a la mode and a glass of white wine. The food, atmosphere and service was great for great value. Certainly recommend. Located in Condesa.
I have been here twice and it is never disappointing. I love the food and the service is great. I tried the onion soup and it was really good. I highly recommend this place.
I love this place so much. The food, service, waiters, price, wine, everything’s amazing. Perfect for dates.
Absolutely great service!! Fresh food in this very nice neighborhood restaurant. The ceviche is just delicious !!
Amazing Italian food with affordable prices! We always make it a point to come here when we visit. (Pictured: veal milanese)
Good food. Great service. Never disappoints.
Great service, great food, good wines, what else... steak tartare a la Mexican was good!

This was one of the best meals we had in the trip. The Patagonian lamb was far and away the highlight of the meal, truly impeccable. We also had the guanaca gratin which was interesting (not something I'd order again but definitely unique and local). The wine was amazing, to a point where we're trying to figure out a way to order it home. Huge fan!
This is one of my best spots in Mexico City. The food was awesome and delicious. We got the service from Erick, he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes. I highly recommended.
Best restaurant I’ve eaten at in CDMX so far - the food was great even though I couldn’t order all the regular flavors because I’m avoiding spice. Could go here multiple times
Love the food and the trio of waiters. Get the artichoke!
Four of us had an outstanding dinner. Service was great and the fish dishes were particularly good. Very good and reasonably priced wine list. The ambience was great and the people were very friendly—we will definitely be returning!
Nice selection of Mexican wines. Other countries too, but Mexican ones stand out. Good prices. Excellent service. Quiet location. Appetizers were all outstanding, especially the grilled artichoke, split and roasted with olive oil and garlic.

La Vineria is a hidden gem for people seeking delicious and healthy comfort food We tried all meat-free options and it was amazing The grilled artichokes and the spaghetti pistachio were delicious!! Don Rogelio is probably one of the witty waiters we’ve met in recent years. The french Merlot recommended was great alongside the other recommendations We will be back! Thanks again to the La Vineria Team!!
One of my favorite restaurants in Mexico City. The service is excellent as is the food. My favorite dishes include the onion soup, duck confit, mussels, pasta pistache, squid rings, and artichokes. Also the pumpkin (or sweet potato) cake is so good!

La Vineria: Grandma's Cooking, Grandpa's Decor (But Good Wine!) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looking for a cozy neighborhood spot with food that tastes like a warm hug from grandma? La Vineria's got you covered. Seriously, the homemade flavors are delicious, and the service is super friendly. Plus, they've got a decent wine selection. Just be warned: the interior feels a bit "retro" (aka old), and your wallet might feel a little lighter than you'd expect for a neighborhood joint. Still, if you're craving comfort food and a glass of wine in a relaxed setting, it's a solid choice.
They have europeanized food. Two kind of taco and a traditional soup but as I understood the rest was like pasta and steak and burger. Also they don't have an English menu and don't speak English. So make sure your Google translate is ready. The wrap was pretty good. Not too much flavor. The staff are friendly.
Good food Nice staff Prices are a bit high... but thats the area So thats why only 4 stars
Cozy local restaurant with great service. Great food and affordable price. We love the complimentary warm bread; Jamaican taco is a highlight - avocado, Jamaican leaves and fried pork mixed together delivers an interesting flavor and tortilla is so soft and chewy. Fried calamari is also soft and tender. Onion soup is rich and hot. A very fulfilling meal in general.

This “old-fashioned” (in the best sense) resto was just a block from where we stayed, and we dined there 3 times, thereby sampling a good portion of the menu. Our best dishes were roasted artichokes and beef tartare, but there were no duds. Servers were very nice. Bread was good. Wine list was extensive, and we had a full bodied Argentine Malbec on 2 nights - rather bargain-priced. Definitely worth a visit!

It was cold inside. The herb fish was okay. The brownie with ice cream was excellent though.
