Café Renis Albans Reviews
Absolutely phenomenal cafe. One of the best espressos I have tried in New York City. Great customer service too!
Very friendly, drinks and food were very nice. The atmosphere was charming and clean. The music wasn’t my taste, but still a lovely place.
This place was lovely! The decorations are amazing and the service was awesome! Food and coffee top of the line. Looking forward to go back.
This is a cozy place, just right for a cup of coffee or tea.
This is a hidden gem. The coffee was outstanding and the interior matched it. Stopped by to work from here in the afternoon. My new go to cafe!
This place is amazing! I really like the atmosphere, good coffee and nice interior. The service was good and the barista was so friendly. Thank you!
If you're looking for a breakfast spot I recommend this cute Cafe. I have been here a few times and everything is on point. Love the ambiance, service and of course the coffee too. They serve Stumptown. Delicious. Today I had an avocado toast, To die for. If you haven't been here yet then you're missing out!
The new coffee jewel of Astoria! Talk about drinking coffee in style! Besides the superb variety of coffee and delicious pastries, this Cafe is enriched with style and a sense of elegance that makes ur cup that much more enjoyable. Looking forward to many yummy bites and sips while in Astoria. 2 thumbs up to their fun and welcoming staff which adds extra sweetness to the experience. See you soon Cafe Renis☕️😀.
The cutest coffee hub in Astoria, Queens. This pretty in pink Café has the best 24K Gold Cappuccino that you can’t find anywhere else!! Their staff is super friendly, and always very accommodating. They also have amazing food, my favorite is their ham and cheese sandwich, on a warm croissant. l highly recommend Café Renis!
This place is superrrr cuteeeeee, clean, and the staff were extremely nice. The food & coffee was really good as well. It was my best friend & I first time here, and will definitely not only come back but recommend to others. :)
Best coffee place I been around Astoria . We try yesterday byrek ( triangle one)and was one of the best around the city . Very very warm place and great service. I can’t ask for more about my Sunday morning . Thank you guys
To come to this café is the highlight of my day, any day of the week! The coffee is always perfect (and I'm particular about my coffee), the pastries are delicious, the staff is super kind, and the place itself is beautiful, relaxing and comfortable. I love this café!
I love this place - coffee and food is great. But the music? When you come looking for a work cafe vibe or place to talk with friends - the hyper-dance-club music is too much.
I’m often at Cafe Renis to do some work before I end my work day. It’s cozy, bright and pink with incredible coffee. I often get an oat milk latte (sometimes with three shots), and Cafe Renis always delivers. 10 stars.
Great coffee, yummy pastries, incredibly cute and inviting environment. We hung out for a bit and went through the coffee table books while sipping on our treats. What a great spot!
Nice people and good coffee. My go to spot
Awesome place! Enjoyed the coffee, pastry and waffles during one afternoon, and will definitely come back to taste the wines and more food
I’m here for the weekend from Atlanta and I need to work from ‘home’…Where do I go ? Cafe Renis! I worked online from 2pm until close and it was great!o say ok the Sun room to avoid distractions ,the area is beautiful and clean, the staff are friendly. It not too loud to take work calls inside. The music was diverse and easy to focus with. I had the Ice dirty Chai Latte, mhhh hit the spot, and it helped me knock out so much work. Thank you for a great experience! 👌🏾💖
Really friendly customer service. Delicious iced cafe latte and their pastries look excellent as well. Outdoor seating available. Definitely recommend.
loved my experience here!! the staff is super knowledgeable and kind and the selection is unique. cafe is aesthetically pleasing & cozy. will be back :P
Love the ambiance and the service friendly workers at Reni's Cafe , bust most importantly the fresh grounded coffee smells & it tastes delicious. My favorite is the caramel macchiato. I recommend you try it if you're into caramel flavor. Anila B.
I have been going there often in the morning. Their brewed coffee is really nice, they use Stumptown's beans. People there are lovely also I like their back area a lot.
New French Café on 30th Ave contributes to the international flavors of the block. Nice coffee, sweet treats, and a few savory options. The decor has old tin paneling and ceiling tiles, so the place is a scrumptious as the food. Sidewalk seating and skylight garden room in the back.
Most underrated cafe in Astoria. Try their vegan brownie and oat milk latte best you can find in this neighborhood. Perfect place for a sober date or a study haul!
Amazing time n food everything coming back
Love this small family owned cafe. Coming here on a daily basis for a month already. Their hospitality and kindness are so pleasant and touching 💜🥹
I drove to New York city for the weekend with my fam and stopped by at Cafe Renis , the people working there were very welcoming and honestly i had the best coffee ever . You should definitely stop by and try it sometimes . Amazing coffee !
This is a neighborhood gem! Unique and clean environment, food is thoughtful and delicious, service is always friendly and prices are fair!
A delightful cafe full of natural light, character and charm. They use the highest quality coffee beans and ingredients so it never disappoints.
Really enjoyed my visit here. The staff was friendly and had some nice recommendations. It's a nice little hang spot with the girls or if you just want to stop by and grab some coffee. Will be coming back to this spot.
Very nice coffee and very nice atmosphere!
I had breakfast this morning at Café Renis and I can truly say it was an amazing experience. My and my wife tried the turkey sandwich, spinach byrek, mocha latte, and the vanilla cappuccino . The service provided was excellent, and the staff was nice enough to explain the origin of their business and some of their Albanians pastries. I will be definitely back soon!
I recently visited Cafe Renis and was blown away by their bar food menu. The portion sizes were generous, making it the perfect spot for a filling meal or a quick bite. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend Cafe Renis for anyone looking for delicious coffee, smoothies and food.
Immaculate experience at Café Renis! The pastries were phenomenal and so was their Stumptown coffee. The atmosphere is chic and stylish I really enjoy spending my time here!
Cafe Renis is such a cute and cozy spot for coffee! We got the 24K gold latte, the red velvet latte and the purple ube latte and they were all amazing. They have a nice selection of pastries as well. The employee who was working there was so kind! Highly recommend
The best breakfast and brunch spot in New York City. I will definitely be back when I am in town the next time. Great food and prices. I highly recommend it to everyone
Amazing frappe and chai tea latte. Friendly service! I’d come back. Beautiful decor!
Stopped in on a whim as I recently moved to the neighborhood, and was back again the very next day. Absolutely adorable decorations inside, and the backroom is so peaceful and serene. Excellent brunch faire, great coffee, and even better service from the friendly staff. Will definitely be a new regular here!
Speedy service. My boyfriend and I come a couple times a week. We love the ube latte. They have a cute rewards program too :)
Such a nice atmosphere, delicious rich food and drinks and great service by mike! Been living in Astoria for over a year up the street from this place and am so mad I only just now walked in! 10/10!!!
*THE BEST COFFEE SPOT IN ASTORIA* The staff is GREAT 5 star 👍, nice ,talkative, knowledgeable about menu and extras. GREAT ENERGY overall. The main reason I keep coming back other than the Chagachino 🔥. SPACE- IS 3 parts the front / people watch enjoy the breeze / Inside to smell the food cooking and over hear conversation while working/ The back with +++ seating there is an in depth floral setup 📷. I could keep going but check them out! My order - Chagachino + expresso + caramel on cup + extra ice = a good day!
This place is soooo cute, and it was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The barista was super nice and you could tell he cared about the coffees he made, because the presentation was great. I’ll definitely be visiting again :)
Place was 5 star all around. From coffee to service to decor everything its exceptional. We definitely needed a coffee place in our neighborhood that not only serves great coffee and pastries but you can also bring your laptop and sit to do work without being bothered. Words don’t do this place justice, you just need to visit and be ready to be blown away.
Best cappuccino in town and amazing service :)
Such a cute and cozy cafe. I love the art in every section, it has a sun room, even the bathroom has such a cool vibe. Great spots for photos. Very relaxed and chill and perfect for your daily dose of peace!
The place is so charming. I love that they have a bathroom and additional space in the back to meet and enjoy your treat. My favorite is the chagaccino with oat milk. If you cannot have caffeine orbits later in the evening, you must try this.
It’s such a treat to live so close to a cafe like this! I often come here to do work when I’m feeling unproductive at home. Cafe Renis has such a lovely fairy garden atmosphere. I thought of it immediately when I was looking for a space for an event. Renis and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and we had a magical time! I would absolutely recommend the cafe as an event space or a place to do a couple of hours of work with with a chagaccino. 🌸✨🌱💖
This place has the absolute best avocado toast in Astoria, and it's inexpensive! Highly recommend!!
I checked out this adorable coffee spot in Astoria. I tried their ube latte with oat milk, and it was decent (not super sweet, which surprised me). The avocado toast was pretty standard, nothing to rave about, but not bad either. What I really dig is the cool design and all the cozy seating nooks they’ve got.
Stopped by for a hot chocolate and it was really good! The customer service was great too. Definitely coming back.
My go-to local coffee shop! Great coffee, awesome avocado toast and service with a smile. Love it.
Omg the food is amazing ! I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful everything was, the food was so delicious and the coffee woke me right up! The service was great 🫶🏻
Cafe Renis is a new neighborhood coffee shop. They've opened very recently, so be patient- they're still training their employees (for instance, I and another patron both needed to ask for the pastries we ordered after receiving our drinks). Note: they accept card and cash but have an additional fee for card purchases- ~$.50 for a $7 purchase. Prices are also slightly higher than other in the neighborhood. Thoughts: The iced lattes were quite good. It would be nice if they had cinnamon at the bar by the sugar to add. They use Stumptown beans. Their chocolate croissant was incredibly flakey, and I would argue better than Moa's croissants (though it's also more expensive) Both outdoor and indoor seating is available. Uncertain about the outlet situation, but it may be a new WFH destination in the neighborhood.
Beautiful and cozy cafe! Nothing like it in the neighborhood. Relaxing atmosphere. Great coffee and food. I need to get more friends just to bring them here to chat!
Very friendly staff and excellent service! The coffee, tea, and food were absolutely delicious. The café even offered complimentary pastries from the owner, and they were amazing — super fresh and flavorful. The décor is tasteful, creative, and beautifully put together. Overall, a wonderful experience. I would definitely go back again!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Astoria, Queens has a ton of nice Cafés. For our thanksgiving weekend we chose this one on a beautiful Saturday morning. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of all they offered. We got the avocado toast, the popular mushroom coffee (hit the spot) and a regular latte. Everything was made to perfection and didn’t disappoint. A gem in Astoria for sure
☕️ Café Renis – Fresh & Simple Delights 🥪 Salmon Toast Grilled artisanal bread with creamy spread, fresh herbs, and silky smoked salmon. ☕ Signature Coffee Rich, smooth, perfectly roasted. ✨ The Perfect Combo Salmon toast and coffee, a fresh energizing duo that tastes as good as it feels. Mikel was great and made the experience even better.
One of my favorite coffee shops. The coffee is always excellent, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is just right for enjoying and relaxing. I come here often and always love coming back. Highly recommended! ☕️⭐️
Loved the perfectly toasted Cubano sandwich — crispy outside, melty and flavorful inside. Paired with a chilled San Pellegrino, it was the perfect light meal. The floral backdrop made the whole experience feel warm and Instagram worthy!
Great coffee spot! They serve variety of drinks. They have added Crepes to their menu and wine as well.
Stumbled upon what I can safely say is one of the cutest cafés in Astoria. I ended up sitting and working for hours in their beautiful back room that transports you out of the city. Not only is it a great place to work and chill they have unbelievable food and coffee including those homemade boreks, Burrata salad with a house made oil and that Red Velvet latter of course. Great spot for your next working lunch.
Ok! Ham & Cheese Croissant. My daughter's favorite. It really isn't your average ham & cheese. The Turkey and Avocado sandwich was my choice. Even though it was number three of the three sandwiches, it was also delicious. My number 1 was The Nipce Sandwich. The salami makes it salty, but the sweetness of the arugula really evens the taste out. I don't usually eat a runny egg on a sandwich, but on this sandwich, I wouldn't have it any other way. I will order it every time❣️ OH! The homemade Apple Crumble Pie. DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT A SLICE! I got one for my husband and I, but I wish I'd gotten two.
Loved this place! Great coffee and a really cozy atmosphere.
cute small cafe with a wide variety of drink options for breakfast. the waiters are very nice and friendly, and the space is chill and cozy! a gem in the neighborhood 😍
Ryan was great and very fast at making the food! Food was really good and so was the tea. Would definitely come here again. Place is also really cute!
Great service and great ambiance. Love the setup
I visited Cafe Renis to grab an iced oat latte and work a little bit. They have FREE wifi. Loved the colors, the vibe and the different areas, the back area is calming and peaceful the waterfall sound helps a lot. They are open every day 8am-5pm as of now (March 2022)
Very, very cute, French-style cafe in Astoria, in a part where there was a missing spot for something like that. The coffee my friend and I had was very good and a lot of people stepped in to get their drinks and pasties while we were there. Everything looks good and delicious, the staff is pleasant and the interior very charming and cozy.

Great coffee and great service. A nice place to meet someone in the neighborhood. The scent is a bit strong- like a strong oud perfume that lingers in the air so we had to go outside but maybe people like it?? still 5 star experience
This cafe is SOOOOO cute so beautiful such a pretty place. I got matcha and my friend got coffee and it was delicious Also the food is great
Great coffee and even better food! Staff is extremely friendly and the shop itself is cute! Their crepes are to die for!!!! Highly recommend!
I had a great time at Cafe Renis last night. It was my first time at this location, the run club I am in (Paso Run Club) partnered with Cafe Renis. The owners were kind enough to stay open a little longer for us. After our 4 miles run we came back and I tasted their amazing latte and bakery treats! Definitely recommend. Also! The location is decorated so pink and cute especially for the Valentine weekend!

Brand new cafe/coffee shop much needed in that area of the neighborhood. It’s super cute and very chill, nicely decorated. I could see it as a nice meeting place or spot to work remotely from. I couldn’t help myself so I got a coffee but more specifically a frappe. Having had many frappes in the past I would not consider this to be a very good one. It was weak, didn’t have that punch. I want to give them benefit of the doubt since it’s not a Greek place. I’m certain their regular coffees are much better. I would totally visit again, but personally I wouldn’t get the frappe, try something else next time.
I am a bit more fem so I love how pink and flowery the decorations are for this place. There is plenty of seating and good for groups. This coffee shop boasts a small menu along with some pastry offerings. There is also outdoor seating. The drink was just ok. I had an iced mocha. I would get something else next time. I am unsure of wifi since I didn't see a password sign posted anywhere.
Café Renis is an adorable little coffee shop that recently opened this past weekend. Their menu is simple; they sell crafted coffee drinks (hot and cold), sandwiches (tuna, ham & cheese) and a few baked goods items (croissants, macarons, cookies, and cake). The décor is very cute and makes the café really stand out from all the other shops on this block. There are comfy benches, lounge chairs and plenty of Instagram worthy spots inside. They have an outdoor seating area in the front of the café and there is also a small sunroom in the back. Staff is very friendly, and prices are on the higher end. I got an almond croissant ($4.00), yogurt parfait ($6.50) and a frappe ($5.00). The cold frappe was great and really hit the spot on this hot day. The almond croissant and yogurt parfait were both good. Overall, a nice little cafe, great for hanging out, a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Got waffles and a Spanish cheese pastry, with matcha. Waffle was ok, nothing special and not really better than I'd make myself. Lacking toppings, especially spray whip that melted quickly... Matcha was good but not mixed properly so had a ton of undissolved powder at the end. Spinach pastry was good, so I'm suspecting this place is mostly just good for Mediterranean foods 🤷🏼♂️ They should just focus on that instead if so.
I went in for a quick breakfast and left disappointed. I paid $20.96 for a small iced coffee (even though I had ordered a large) and a crunchy sandwich that seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. Since I didn’t leave a tip, the staff member immediately asked if my order was to go or for here — which came across as pretty rude. I’m not giving a one-star review only because there used to be a girl working here who made the place feel welcoming and worth coming back to. But the last few times I’ve been here, the experience has gone downhill — to the point that I don’t want to return anymore. Sadly, this visit left a bad taste in my mouth
The guy at the counter was really nice, but matcha-making isn’t his strong suit. I had a serious craving for matcha yesterday, so I decided to try this place because of its good reviews. He made me a matcha that was mixed so poorly; it was like sipping on a clumpy science experiment! I let him know, and without hesitation, he made me another one that was just as bad. I’ve never had a matcha like that before—it seemed like he didn’t know how to whisk it properly. I couldn’t drink it at all—definitely the saddest $8 I’ve ever spent!

Really thought the coffee would be good as it was a highly rated place. The place is beautiful but the coffee is terrible. Ordered an iced red velvet latte and it tasted like milk, i tasted no coffee inside of it. I don’t know if the guy forgot to add the espresso or what.
