Taco Tumba Albans Reviews
Excellent service, they have taco Tuesday 99 cents per taco and they are really good! The drinks are good too. It gets busy, they have a live dj as well. Good for bday celebrations, the music is loud so if you are looking for a quiet place this is not the one for you.
The vibe was great!! Music playing with great service! Went were on a girls date, went around 5pm so there wasn’t a lot of people yet. The drinks are bomb!! I got the strawberry margarita, and the food was also very delicious. I’d recommend their birria tacos it was great and we also had hookah. Environment was just A1. I would come back here, 9/10.
I had such a wonderful experience here! The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really made my visit special was the incredible service from Geanella. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly taken care of from start to finish. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond with such a genuine smile. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Astoria — great food, great vibe, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Hands down the best dinner experience! Went on a Friday night and they had free shots, dancers balloons some air machine! It felt like I was in a club! Not to mention the drinks are fire, I tried a couple including the Diblita Rosa that comes with a beer and the Baby Demon which was delicious! The food was also amazing I tried their birria tacos ans burgers and also thebporter house and the. tumba Hammer that literally fell off the bones! Soo good! Definitely coming back cause Taco Tumba never disappoints!
Taco Tumba is serving way more than just dinner—it’s a whole vibe 🌮✨🔥 From the moment you walk in, the energy is intensely exciting. A live DJ keeps the beats flowing, dancers light up the floor, and the cocktails? Absolute perfection 🍹🙌 The menu is packed with bold flavors—don’t miss their Crazy Tacos and the melt-in-your-mouth Tumba Hammer Osso Buco. Every bite hits hard, every drink levels up the night. Whether you’re rolling deep with friends or looking for a spot to celebrate, this Astoria gem knows how to turn a meal into a party
Very fun experience! Great loud party music, very lively atmosphere and staff. Delicious food. I had the truffle nachos, steak tacos and Santeria drink 💀 definitely a fun place to check out on the weekends! They do check ID at the door so make sure you have it. I’d suggest wearing something nice too.
Went to Taco Tumba for dinner with my friends and I did not want to leave! First of all they gave us welcome shots that were literally fire! We ordered a few drinks including the Tumba Henny in the skull cup and La Dama Moet and it tasted as a good as it looked! For dinner, I had to try their Birria burger which i’ve never seen on a menu before and it totally hit! The sauce was perfect and the burger was so juicy, 10 out of 10 for sure! We also ordered a few apps including the chicharrones over guac and tostones, the chicken flautas were so crispy and delicious drizzled in the white sauce as well as the garlic shrimps. We left so full but still stayed even longer at the bar because the vibes were so good. Over all The music was lit, the service was great, we were well taken care of and just felt like a good vibe all around!
Came here for my friends birthday dinner this past weekend and we had a great time. The drinks were great, the food was also good I just wish the portion size was bigger. The menu at the restaurant seemed to differ from the one they have on the website. The service was great and our waiter was very attentive. We were there from about 6-8pm and the DJ never showed up (they still had music playing, but I wish there was a DJ while we were there)
I went on a Thursday night to celebrate my in law birthday. Ordered the Flintstones beef. I believed it was beef because it was over cooked and salty. I’m not a Michelins chef but I could make a meat taste good. Looks better than it tastes. The price $60 for something that will give me kidney stones ? Nah I won’t eat that or make the same mistake. Waited 10 minutes more than the other people. It won’t come with nothing else than tomatoes and home fries dipped in a weird sauce. No rice or beans. 60 dollar plate does not come with any sides.
