King Wah Restaurant Albans Reviews
I ordered sesame chicken and veg rolls both are them so delicious. The food is way better than most halal Chinese stores. Will order more in future in-sha-Allah.
Thank you for always making delicious food, the lunch special is an amazing deal! Best halal Chinese in Queens.
Amazing food I’ve been coming coming here for the last five years and I love it. I recommend to come here.
Quantity and the price is awesome.Food is exceptional according to the price.I go there atleast onece a week.Highly Recommend if you’re looking for cheap halal chinese spot.
The new ownership is great. Great service . My go to are the garlic wings and won ton soup. They have a good variety of halal items and have paved the way for other halal restaurants in the area.
The food is really good here. I have tried this place few times and never disappointed me. One suggestion I would give is to make the chicken fried freshly instead of refrying and go easy on soy sauce. Iftar box was really delicious, should be in menu all year long. Try it people.
Love the general tsos chicken. Great food with great portions at an affordable price and it's halal! The interior is also very nice.
Great atmosphere and food, can't go wrong with this place. It's all halal as well so its an additional plus from me.
As a Chinese restaurant first of all it has a soothing environment. Regarding the foods I would say it's so scrumptious. And the services of them are really top notch.
Ordered from here the other night and was pleased. We did the family deal for 3 and it was actually enough for a family of 4. Chicken was seasoned well, egg rolls were delicious and the egg drop soup was also really good. Beef and broccoli was good, the beef was tender
Great Chinese halal food near Jackson heights….
I used to be permanent customer of Fatima's Halal Kitchen. Since they shut down their business in Astoria, I was looking for proper replacement. About two months ago, I accidently found King Wah and food is really really good. I would say better than Fatima (persons blvd) and Halal Kitchen(Grand Ave)! Price is very reasonable. Keep up the good work guys.
Super fresh and quality takeout (even though we dined in) Chinese. The restaurant had a clean and visually appealing aesthetic that’s incredibly alluring. We were served our food within minutes of placing our order. We had dumplings, wonton soup, chicken mei fun, chicken fried rice and sesame chicken. Overall, very quality items. Not a single item disappointed. Definitely recommend to anyone. Only downside is parking isn’t very available around the vicinity.
This is just one of those secret places that you need to know. The food and the price is absolutely amazing. It’s one of the previous Chinese restaurants I have ever been. I have been going here ever since it became halal
Never realized this was halal until I came in and saw the sign. The inside is very gorgeous looking and quiet. Perfect to come alone or with family.
hii, i’ve been coming to this restaurant since i was 2. When I was little my family used to order for delivery always but since the age of 16 I walk to the restaurant. I remember back in the days there were lobsters by the front window which I loved, but honestly the restaurant looks like a whole new world now! I love the new set up with the new tables and chairs it really does make it look like an expensive restaurant your walking into. I always order the chicken with broccoli lunch special and these past few months it’s tastes even better! Personally I love getting the excessive gooey soy sauce so I could mix it in with my white rice and OMG so good I promise you. This restaurant never fails when cooking a chicken with broccoli and this will always be my go to forever! PS: The new people that work in the counter are so kind and friendly! It makes the place feel more welcoming so thank you!
This place gave me childhood memories of how Chinese food was when I was a kid. It was better than I expected and is my new favorite. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The service and atmosphere was 👍🏼.
Wanted to try a new Chinese takeout spot in the neighborhood, got there before they closed and they took my order with no issues. The people there are nice and accommodate the dish to your taste (ex: make it extra spicy). The food tasted more fresh than the other place I used to go to.
The staff and owner are always pleasant. The place is always clean. I usually order ahead then pick up, so the food is ready within seconds of walking in. Food is always hot and tasty. They will accommodate any of your needs.
Delicious food, my wife & I order from here all the time. The ambiance in the restaurant gives makes it more than just your average Chinese restaurant. I love the general tso chicken, lollipop chicken, & fried scallops.
Amazing atmosphere, amazing food, and top notch service. Would 100% recommend to friends and family!
Amazing food and service. The girl is incredibly sweet, handled the rush effortlessly.
King Wah is an absolute gem for halal dining! The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, making every bite a true delight. I had the Haji Biryani, Chicken Wings, and Chicken Broccoli with Rice, and each dish was cooked to perfection. The Haji Biryani was rich and aromatic, the wings were crispy and juicy, and the chicken broccoli was perfectly balanced with tender meat and fresh vegetables. On top of the amazing food, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully set up. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend King Wah to anyone looking for delicious halal options!
Food is really delicious, I ordered on Grubhub and picked up there, and they let me eat in the restaurant. It’s really quiet, very clean, and the staff are really friendly. Food is amazing, I’d recommend their egg drop soup and beef fried rice.
My family and I have come to King Wah a few times and have enjoyed the family meals every time. It’s good bang for your buck! The chicken dishes are my favorite. And I’m always excited they added their Puran Dhaka menu to their restaurant. The hajir biryani reminds me of wedding food back in Bangladesh. Gotta try their halim next time!
Great environment. I hope the food should be also good.
This place has excellent service, tasty food and a really clean environment. I 100% recommend this restaurant as it is one of the most underrated places. Amazing place!!!
Not your typical standard Chinese restaurant. Looks and tastes fresher and better, not sure if it’s because it’s halal or if they change the oil more frequently. But overall excellent for the price.
Great food great price and great portion. It’s flavorful it has big portion worth every penny. I loved it.
First time here. Person at counter very helpful, friendly. They have free ginger spicy tea which is really good.
My brother and I tried this spot for the first time since we were in the neighborhood (we’re from Brooklyn), and I have to say, this was hands down the best halal Chinese food we’ve ever had. Everything we ordered was excellent; the fried chicken dumplings, chicken wings, General Tso’s chicken, egg fried rice, and flat noodles. The atmosphere was great, and the waiter was super friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back whenever we’re in the area again!
This restaurant, with its Chinese Muslim-style decorations, offers a variety of Chinese dishes. The only problem with the extensive menu is that when we ordered Hunan Beef and Szechuan Shrimp and Chicken, the two dishes tasted almost the same, except for the different meats. The fried dumplings are good, but the Mei Fun could be better.
The restaurant is nice and all but they have to do better with customer service. They should also heat up the food well, especially during the winter. No one wants to eat cold food. Other than that, the restaurant would flourish so much better. They just have change their mindset.
Food was delicious! We ordered sesame chicken, chicken & broccoli, shrimp in garlic sauce. The food arrived hot & freshly cooked. They appeared to be short staffed. It took a while whenever we needed something.
I came to this halal Chinese spot for the first time. You wouldn't know it from looking at the outside but it looks quite nice inside. There are nice lighting fixtures and decor. The staff were very nice and the menu had a lot of variety. I got the szechuan shrimp and chicken, along with the Singapore noodles and fried chicken teriyaki sticks. All the food was cooked well and seasoned okay, could be better. Serving sizes were generous. Prices were good.
If you're in the mood for a Chinese feast, look no further than King Wah! This little restaurant is conveniently located in an area where options can be scarce, but they more than make up for it with their dishes. I tried the General Tso's chicken lunch special with egg drop soup and white rice, and it was absolutely delectable. While some dishes may have more flavor than others, the overall taste and quality of the food at King Wah is top-notch. In addition to the tasty food, I was also really impressed by the newly refurbished interior giving the restaurant a fresh feel. And let's not forget about the generous portions and cheap prices - it's hard to beat a meal like this at such a great value. All in all, King Wah is a solid choice for a tasty and affordable Chinese meal. Highly recommend giving it a try!
Amazing food Edit: I’m a regular here. I never had a problem with the food until I tried the hot and spicy beef. I guess I should have asked what comes in it, because the entire plate was just celery and bamboo with a few pieces of beef. I understand u can just eat the beef on the plate, but what they dont understand is that the celery releases a lot of water into the dish. It affects the flavor heavily. What a shame. They made me pay for it still and when I asked to change it to a dish I knew I liked, they refused and made it again without the celery. But this time the bamboo wasn’t Cooked at all and was entirely inedible. I gave up at that point. The service is terrible but it’s a Chinese restaurant what do you expect.
Most of the food is pretty good. Ordered chicken wings with fried rice, General tsos chicken, beef lo mein, chicken lollipop, special fried rice, sesame chicken with vegetable fried rice. Most of the food was tasty. Vegetable fried rice was very good. Sesame Chicken, general tsos and beef lo mein were true to their names. The shrimp dishes smelled quite fishy. I ordered a special fried rice and a shrimp fried rice and both smelled so much of raw shrimp, they were inedible.
Great Halal Chinese restaurant with excellent value for your $$. But they need to work on their service.
Thai mixed soup beef garlic chili chicken halim haji biriyani Comilla rosy malai aunthon We order not good enough to go back again
I visited this restaurant a couple of days ago and had mixed experiences with their dishes. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Singapore mei fun. It had a fantastic flavor and just the right amount of light oiliness, making it both delicious and satisfying without feeling heavy. Unfortunately, the hot and sour soup was extremely underwhelming. It lacked flavor entirely, which was disappointing. Adding to that, the chicken soup was a letdown as well, despite the menu suggesting that it comes with noodles, there were none in the bowl. The restaurant no longer feels like authentic Chinese cuisine, especially since the change in management. The menu now leans more toward South Asian fusion, and I miss the quality and flavors of the previous ownership.
It's Halal American Chinese. Really good and generous portions for what it is. My only complaint is that they don't have all the Chinese sauce packets you find in non halal American Chinese spots. Also don't expect this to taste as good as the non halal Chinese spots in the city.
Been back here a few times since my first visit and each time the service has been lacking. Flavor of food hasn't been as good either. The workers DEFINITELY need some customer service training, they lack the BASICS... Hence why every time I go here it's EMPTY. I understand with the prices we can't expect a high end 5 star restaurant service, but I'm talking about regular restaurant 101. Also stopped by for lunch yesterday and couldn't stay for 15 mins because it was a "Sauna" in there. Ordered the chicken & broccoli lunch special which is NOT on the menu they gave me, and when I asked for the lunch special menu waiter looked angry. The lunch special is 8.95 and on my bill it was 10.95, which I paid without mentioning anything about it but I hate shady practices by restaurants. Ordered a soda (can) and added chicken to my fried rice which says $1 extra and my bill came out to $20. Not sure how that math works but again I paid it without mentioning anything. But probably won't be coming back here again. HALAL CHINESE FOOD that is actually really good and at affordable prices. This is definitely a hidden gem. Will be adding this to the regular rotation for sure. We got the family meal for 3 $48.95. You choose 3 main dishes, 1 soup0, 1 fried rice, 1 lo mein & 3 egg rolls. We got hot & sour soup, chicken fried rice, beef lo mein, chicken with broccoli, general tso's chicken & kung po beef. EVERYTHING was good. Service was really good too. Highly recommend King Wah. On the 2nd visit we tried the special lo mein, seafood hot & sour soup, chicken egg roll & shrimp egg roll. The regular hot & sour was better & spicier than the seafood one & regular egg roll was better as well.
While giving a food review i look into every details. The experience was not as good as i had with Halal Kitchen. I ordered fried half chickens, Chicken with broccoli,General Tsao chicken and fried chicken rice. The rice was ok. I felt it better than the chicken fried rice of halal kitchen. Chicken with broccoli...i will say it felt rubbery..it felt kinda hard to chew. And definitely full of broccoli than chicken.. and the gravy was hard to found..it was very less.. same goes with the General Tsao.......the fried half chicken smells...and feels like the chicken was very old. Overall experience was not good..
Being a longtime neighborhood resident I used to get takeout from King Wah when it was owned by it's original owner back in the 1970's. He would admonish me when I wanted to mix hot with cold in the same bag, insisting that I had two hands and needed to carry hot and cold separately. He was a master Restaurateur. OK he really cared about the food that he served. My wife told me that he had put two children through university. He was a simple man that loved what he did. When time for retirement came he passed the restaurant to relatives, things did not work out. KK 4th or fifth management down the road in post pandemic, 2023 what I thought as "new blood" would be taking over, I saw massive improvements to the restaurant! Great, I love this place, heck it was a part of my youth! I bought dinner from King Wah on Saturday May 6th. Beef with Broccoli. The beef was just trimmed fat, not only flavorless but unhealthy. Did the sign above the restaurant say Halal? Maybe I missed something, But doesn't Halal mean healthy for the soul and body?
Ordered chicken and broccoli and chicken wings. They apparently don't believe in sending utensils, sauces, and fortune cookies. This place has really fallen off. I remember when there was a line of police officers who were waiting to eat at this place. Now it's empty. New management I guess. Ps the wings were terrible Chicken and broccoli was no better. 👎
Chicken broccoli? More like rubber broccoli. Fried rice is just rice with old oil all over it. Very greasy and no taste. Small wonton soup only with 2 dumplings. But actually that was not that bad because dumplings were awful!! Hard as rock not boiled enough. Do not recommend this place. After chance it’s not good and more expensive. Lunch is at least 9$
I will give my fair review! I eat out a lot! And I ate here like once or twice before! this week, I went to the store, First thing I noticed, New management, They were Chinese people last time I ordered here, This time New Indian people, BTW, I love indian food around the block! Anyway, What I noticed about my order is, they are getting cheap on the amount of food they serve, The food taste don't meet my standard, It is okay but not great! I usually eat at the best Chinese around the area, So I know how quality food taste and look like, I hope they fix the quality and the quantity issues for their own sake! because, IN NYC, there are so much choices. They should think about my honest review and give more attention to everything! No business owner likes to lose any customer. My advice is, don't evey sacrifices the quantity nether the quality because you want the customer to come back. It's not one time deal. They're in a great spot and nice dine in !
Let the picture talk for itself. $12 for this meal no drinks included. Still hungry after this.
I ordered from this place by accident. But I figured chicken and broccoli can’t go wrong. The quality of food is good, but there was no taste. Usually the brown sauce makes it, but this one is tasteless. I asked for soy sauce and they didn’t give it to me, but thankfully I found some at home. I had to pour it all over the meal for it to be enjoyable. Update: not even 30 min after eating, my stomach is messed up.
this place definitely has tasty and good food.Their service was very good.reasonable!before last week i used to order 3/4 times our office lunch from this place. But i stopped ordering since the nepali lady started taking the order.my experience was so horrible!first she didn't even take my order she just hang up the phone.then i called again placed my order for delivery.i called after an hour for food and she said there was no order for delivery.I asked for the manager and she was arguing and since that day i stopped calling there.so if you want food do not call there just do uber eats!
I dislike giving low reviews, and the experience wasn't entirely negative, but there were some major issues we had when dining here recently. When our group of 4 arrived, we were greeted and each handed cold water bottles, which we accepted. At the end of the meal when we received our bill, we were charged for the 4 water bottles ($1.50 each). We were not asked if we wanted the water, nor that we would be charged for it; I assumed that they were being given to us as a courtesy due to the weather that day (very hot, humid, and poor air quality). We would have appreciated being asked if we would like the water, and the cost, before giving them to us. Our group ordered chicken dumplings, chicken and broccoli, beef and broccoli, beef mei fun, and chicken with eggplant. There were 8 dumplings in our order, and at least 3 of them were still uncooked in the center. Thankfully none of us became ill from this, but food safety needs to be taken seriously by any restaurant. The rest of the dishes were cooked properly, but nothing wowed us; the beef in particular was chewy and of poor quality. We also saw egg rolls and crab rangoons sitting out in a warming case, rather than being fried fresh. There was a bathroom for customers, but the toilet seat and the lock on the door were missing. Unfortunately King Wah isn't a place we would return; there are quite a few other halal Chinese restaurants in Queens and the rest of NYC that are tastier and better quality.
I ordered for chicken fried rice but there was no chicken in the rice only onion fried rice. Broccoli and chicken and more broccoli and less chicken and chicken wings. Before they have very good service and now they don’t care. Before the chicken wings were big and now small chicken wings. You spend more money and get the food less as per your money. I will advise the owner to look into it and improve the quality of food.
Food is good; however, all should be made simply fresh and warmer. My advice will shield excellent results
I’d write zero stars. Disgusting. I’m not a picky person but we ordered delivery. The pork dumplings had almost zero filling. The dumpling noodle was almost 3/4 inch thick. My partner got the spare rubs which were dry at best. The fried rice on both our entrees was dark brown and reminded me of burned Rice a Roni from when I was a kid. I ordered the General Tsos chicken which was burned and inedible. We threw most everything away. Restaurants are struggling and we actively try to support local establishments but this is impossible to recommend. We wish the owners the best of luck. Hopefully we just had an off night.
Lady was extremely rude on the phone! I am also very repulsed with the delivery guy's behavior. After giving him a VERY generous tip he proceeds to leave my food on the ground! I then ask him "are you going to hand me my food?" and I get cursed out in his native tongue. When I had ordered the bourbon chicken it tasted really dry and salty... Would never order here again.
The restaurant is now a Halal restaurant, and does not serve the food shown in their very own pictures. They also do not have qualified people who can simply take down an address, so ordering is horrendous and became impossible. Sadly, after being a customer since the original owners had this place, I cannot go back again. At the very least, they should change their name and their menu, and honestly advertise while also hiring competent staff. VERY disappointed.
Used to be one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the neighborhood I have been going there for about 15 years their sesame chicken used to be top notch. Sad to say Today the Food was horrible. Must’ve changed the owners all of the food we ordered didn’t taste close to the same the ribs Very fatty, dumplings Mushy and undercooked, the egg rolls have no idea what was in them worst I ever had & especially our favorite the sesame chicken No Bueno😢 this stinks.
I visited this restaurant for takeout last weekend. My family were fasting for Ramadan so could not dine it. My bill was $90 . Food enough for about 6-7 people. I asked the guy for Chilli Sauce and he took out 2. I told him this was a lot of food can I please have 3 or 4 more and he said it would be $1 for each one. They dont even give you enough sauces for the amount of food you order. I will not even bother reviewing the taste of food since people will think its biased. But this is not "authentic" chinese. No flavor , no taste . Save ur money.
I used to order the chicken with mixed veggies from king wah on Northern Blvd every other day. But I won't be doing that anymore. why? in my last order - my four year old daughter bit down on a mouthful and i heard a crunching sound as she was chewing. immediately i forced her to spit it out. it was a 1cm long bone fragment. there were bone fragments in a dish that should have been boneless. I won't be ordering from king wah anymore.
The Food here is not very filling, not good either. I ordered sesame chicken they only gave 5 little pieces of chewy dry chicken and rice. The quality of the food downgraded since the change! This restaurant is a pure rip off!
There is a nasty female that takes your order at the counter and she is as rude as they come. , so prepare before you head to the counter. When you sit down the place is hot and the food was on the floor. The cook is sweating over the food. Take a look for yourself. I took photos and Im charging the battery as we speak. The food was ok but the attitude of this lady to really youre gonna want to eat somewhere else. They are the new King Wah. The old one wasnt renovated but the food was great. All the neighbors loved the place. Now the environment today was hostile and its as if they want you to leave. Can I finish my food before you look at me again. She watches you like you are doing something wrong. After seeing the food on the floor and the sweat its clear that their salt is coming from sweat. Nasty!!!!!Dont be fooled by the new construction its to fool you that they are better and improved.Their nasty practices need to be changed. Everyone is this area is talking about it. Watch what they say after this review. It doesnt matter my friends and I will never eat here again.
Try to trick with price and food. I ordered small size 4 shrimp with broccoli but they gave me special and didn’t give me any soda with that. But special comes with drinks. Then they were trying to make up I asked small size that’s why they gave me little shrimp broccoli with lot of white rice in one box but didn’t give me any soda! Just making up things to hide their faults. So, be careful when you order. And check before taking your ordered food.
At first, we were impressed by the atmosphere of this Bengali-owned Chinese restaurant. However, their food quality was far below average. The soup had a foul odor, the beef was rubbery, and the shrimp were barely visible inside the shrimp roll. To top it off, the waiter’s behavior was also rude. Not recommended
I am completely shocked by how unprofessional the person at the register was when I picked up my order. I had called ahead to order soup and fried chicken wings with buffalo sauce. The first thing this “self-proclaimed manager” did was charge me the wrong price. Thankfully, his machine malfunctioned, so I wasn’t charged incorrectly. After confirming the correct amount, he asked if I wanted extra sauce, to which I replied, “Yes, can I have extra buffalo sauce?” I didn’t think much of it, as I’ve requested this before without issue. To my surprise, he then tried to charge me for the extra sauce, which I’ve never been charged for before. I explained this to him, but he became hostile, defensive, and walked away in the middle of our conversation. Even the staff in the back seemed shocked by his behavior. When I asked for his name, he refused to give it to me and claimed to be the manager, though it was clear he was just the front desk worker. How can a restaurant function with staff members acting like they’re in charge and making executive decisions? He told me that extra sauce was already included, asking if I wanted “extra on top of extra,” but I explained that the wings are very dry without sufficient sauce. The chicken itself is of poor quality, often broken and blackened. This worker not only damaged the reputation of your restaurant but also displayed rude, entitled behavior. Instead of handling the situation calmly, he escalated it. Had he been courteous and acted appropriately for his role as front desk staff, this entire issue could’ve been avoided. The staff seems insubordinate and unprofessional, which is disappointing to see.
Extremely poor experience. All food arrived at the same time, and my beef with noodles contained a piece of hard plastic. The owner's response was unacceptable; he charged me for the soup and drink, stating he 'didn't charge me for the plastic. I strongly advise against dining here.
Their food is below average. When we pointed out that our waiter had served us the wrong dish, he initially refused to change it. However, after some pressure, he reluctantly changed it and served the correct dish, but he did so rudely by literally throwing the food onto the table. Not recommended.
Not sure what happened to this place. Back then the food was delicious, now it's just ewww. Walked in today and ordered a lunch special to dine in, I was told I couldn't eat here because it was a " lunch special. " The whole place was empty, nothing but empty seatings. The fried rice that came with the meal was not fried rice .. It was rice that was fried in soy sauce. Do yourself a favor and don't bother coming here. Plenty of other places that does better.
We had a disappointing experience .The food was subpar, with uncooked dishes served. I had specifically requested fried rice instead of white rice, but the server refused. What's more, the server did not clean their hands after handling various things like touching bag touching phones touching bathroom doors which was concerning. We only ended up eating the appetizer and left the rest of the meal uneaten. Overall, we were unhappy with the food and service.
This place is ridiculous. They’re telling me they can’t drive 12 MINUTES to deliver because it’s “too far” really? 12 minutes is too far ? I’m literally the next town over… I even attached a picture of the map because it’s actually so ridiculous. They could’ve gotten a nice tip but that’s not my problem anymore
We've been ordering from this restaurant for decades, it's generally hit or miss. When it's good it's good and when it's bad it sucks. The entire order was disappointing today, lacked flavor. Some items undercooked and this is the order or spare ribs they delivered. We ordered shrimp fried rice and there were only 3 shrimp on top and non throughout the rest of the carton, we had dumplings that were overcooked and no flavor. The entire order was just inedible, dry, over-cooked. When I called for a replacement / credit I was told that the cook has been there for years so the food is good. She told me that they had many orders today and no one has complained. The woman on the phone was extremely rude - I told her they lost a customer and she said "Ok". Bad business sense, bad food, bad service. Don't waste your money.
I don't want to leave a review but these guys didn't leave me any choice I've been ordering from king wah for a long time but everything I have only one problem since from the beginning I always ordered chicken fried rice but there's no chicken only rice I always ordered broccoli with chicken but there's no chicken and from now on I will not ordered from this restaurant anymore . 😢
This place used to be a gem but i think they had change in ownership in the last few months and the food quality has just gone so down. Fried rice is literally brown rice tossed in a ridiculous amount of soy sauce, and no flavor in any of the food
Ordered the half chicken, and when I cut into mine, it was pink inside. I stayed calm and they offered to refry it for me, which I appreciated. However, when I checked my girlfriend’s chicken (she ordered the same thing), hers was also pink and even bloody. At that point, I was pretty frustrated and told the waiter I didn’t even want the chicken anymore. He said he could offer us a “discount.” The owner was also there, and when we went to pay, he kept telling us to “go sit down” even though I just wanted to see what kind of “discount” they were giving us. After what felt like a whole brainstorming session, the grand total was reduced from $38 to a whopping $35. I usually come here because it’s close to my girlfriend’s place, but I guess they were just having a bad day. Still, the attitude from the staff was unnecessary — being repeatedly told to “go sit down” felt disrespectful. I really don’t appreciate being treated like a child just because I wanted to see the “complex math” behind the discount. LMAO.
Shrimp roll was salty. Chicken wings were cold and big will never order from there again
I ordered lunch special. Walk in while there are no others customers. There is only one staff working with orders and phone. I’ve been waiting for 30 min to get my orders. And others customers came in like 5-6 people. I just don’t get it. This is a fast food restaurant which has no dine in customers and the staff are very slow and don’t really care about the customers service at all. I myself work at the Chinese restaurant. Never experience such delay and poor customer service. Not recommended at all. Very bad experience
the restaurant was hot when my friend came in and it was still hot when we arrived after 15 minutes because the air conditioner wasn't turned on in spite of informing them. Although the AC was turned on later, it was not functioning well. The food was below average. We ordered chicken, beef, vegetable and all of them tasted just the same, and I am not kidding when I say this, it was the same sauce and spice covering different protein and veggies. Not gonna recommend coming here. The place has a good interior not gonna lie, should be comfortable on a winter noon/after sunset. The rolls on the appetizer was really good. The service staff was well behaved.
We went here for Iftar after making reservation a day before. What a disappointment, we came in at 6:55pm ordered and iftar time was at 7:14pm, as per their iftar box we were suppose to get dates, fruits and rooh hafza, along with some chicken lollipops and spring roll. All we got as a rozedar was some rooh hafza and waited for everything else till 7:50pm. No water nothing was provided. Management was not compassionate about the customers who were all fasting, making the entire resturant wait for sooo long was not ok. How can you not keep food ready even after making reservation a fay in advance ? They did apologize for the miss due to short staff which I understand can happen, however giving some dates and water as promised on the menu shouldn't take more than 5mins. They kept asking everyone, what is your order ? Atleast 3times. It was a total chaos. Food arrived finally after more than an hour, it tasted ok. The soup had a beefy smell to it, just broth no shrimps or anything was added, we had to share the shrimp from each others soup. Will not go again or suggest anyone to go.
