La Cocina II Albans Reviews
This restaurant has my complete devotion. Workers are exceptionally nice and accommodating, with quick dish service. Their menu items are wonderful & honestly, all my selections have been impressive. This spot creates an environment that holds me. This restaurant enhances our local options.
A really great lunch restaurant! Very tasty and adorable food! Pick your rice and beans then choose what kind of protein you prefer. It's quite a lot of food
One of the best season roasted chicken in brooklyn with out a doubt
Food is always fresh And they make anything you want And the beers are always nice and cold
I ordered the shrimp with chicharrón mofongo. The shrimp were large, fresh and juicy- cocked to perfection and the pork was juicy and crispy. I liked the mofongo had some corn in it. One of the best mofongo I’ve had in NYC. Highly recommended, I ordered delivery which was delayed. Probably tastes even better when ordered in the restaurant.
My order today was simple mofongo either pork. It was filled with fat and tasted old. I will never order again.
For a place that claims to have Dominican cooks, the Mangu was extremely hard and bland. It tastes like they took a bunch of unseasoned Mofongo from the day before and half way mashed it into “Mangu” the day after. All I taste is old oil that’s been used for other dishes. There was no onions like Mangu is supposed to have. Not even a trace of salt or flavor. No wonder why they’re having a buy one get one free deal. Super disappointed.
No flavor very little food for the prices and I took pics of the Yuca I received nasty hard lots of stem and 3 small piece
I ordered on uber eats Sunday night specifically fried chicken , French fries and a chicken soup. I’m not sure if they mixed up the order but I’ve received the wrong order nothing I’ve asked for which was very disappointing because uber eats is expensive as it is and I was looking forward to the soup because I’m currently sick. I put two pictures below of the reciept and what I’ve received from the restaurant. Please tell me if that’s what I’ve ordered because it’s definitely not. Becareful when ordering uber eats from this restaurant because people work hard for there money to not get exactly what they ordered. Never ordering from here again! Give your customers the correct orders that they paid money for.
I placed an order for two mofongo with pork chops when I got home the pork chops were dried and burnt and no flavor it was Disgusting I never in my life. Had a pork chop like that. I do not recommend this place. The food is nasty and the people are rude and not friendly.
So today was an experience I never thought I would have with this place , I went with my husband and 4 kids as well as they uncle and I usually buy and dine in with my kids , I usually order food from here and they had they nerve to try and charge me an extra $5 to dine in. They never charged to dine especially since I'm a regular and nobody ever gets charged $5 extra to eat in the place ! The lady was already with an attitude because my kids were loud but that's kids I shouldn't get charged to have my kids eat in there! They just wanted to have they peace and not hear the kids mouth which is very unprofessional and rude ! I would be making an extra complaint regarding this new $5 dine in charge! Not even a sign stating I have to pay extra to eat in this environment!
