El Lechuga Berlanga Reviews
The coziest, most chill, unpretentious vibe. I can’t think of a better cafe to represent Bushwick. They make perfect mochas and the chicken sandwich was hearty. The staff is friendly - it’s the kind of welcoming atmosphere where you can hang for awhile. My favorite bartender in the area works here, too.
I met a group of friends here on Saturday and Sunday mornings on a very cold February weekend. I had excellent service and had a pistachio latte and drip coffee. Both very good. I ate a breakfast wrap and oatmeal loaded with fruit, both were excellent as well. The causal atmosphere was a great place to chat. I really enjoyed this cafe and would recommend to anyone!
It was a great time. The service is amicable, the food didn’t take long, the decorations are intricate and cool. 10/10 and would definitely come back again!! This is greatness
had their bushwick sandwich + spiked cold brew, sooo delicious and the staff hustles! i had a cold as well so i tried their Grandma’s Elixir and it IS an elixir. cleared me up and i walked out feeling like a million bucks :—)
Had the breaded chicken sandwich and the Bushwick sandwich, both were great, very light and fresh. Had the spiked cold brew and definitely has a good amount of liquor, but you can barely taste it so be careful! Also a light drink refreshing and strong coffee. Have visited before and will continue to frequent (:
My favorite cafe in Bushwick!! I love the pretzel breakfast sandwich’s and the different flavors of lemonade. The cafe’s playlist is also always great and a very cozy vibe.
I've been ordering from Ange Noir for a couple of years now, and they've never once disappointed – whether dining in or getting delivery at home. There's truly something for everyone on the menu. The food is delicious, fresh, and exactly what you want when you're craving comfort food done right. It hits the spot every single time. I recommend 1000%. If you're in Bushwick and haven't tried Ange Noir yet, you're missing out!
Love this place, but they probably hate me. they are alway consistently good. Every time we have early work things in the area we would attacked them with an order of 10 sandwiches and drinks BUT they always delivered. Extra points for nice take out boxes too.
Perfect ginger honey latte with oat (less sweet and customizable with espresso). Service was warm and near-instant. This place has a warm, no BS vibe. It's a cozy place to sink into conversation or a nice afternoon with a good book.
Our neighborhood dining improved. I keep returning and service is always on point. The meals satisfy taste buds while offering freshness and nutrition. The restaurant offers impressive consistency. I worry about this place becoming too crowded.
This place has been one of my favorites in the neighborhood for years. Aside from delicious drinks and amazing food (I'm fond of their egg sandwiches in particular) I really like the creative energy of the place. It always has someone doing something cool there, from writing groups to comedy to DJ nights. It's a fun spot and a great place to spend a few hours.
At first it seems like a small cafe, but it’s a huge space with a stage and bar area! The owner Vanessa and all of the staff are extremely welcoming and fun to speak with. Coffee options are great, baristas know what they are doing. And I’ve eaten here twice now - the food is superb. I’ve had an omelette as well as a breakfast sandwich on their famous pretzel bun. The chef is back there cheffing! Taste, aroma, texture all on point. 10/10 - will be back whenever I’m in the area.
I normally do not frequent coffee shops because they are too noisy and it's hard for me to find a seat. Not only was I able to be seated quickly, I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy this place is. It's in the cut (iykyk). I also expected the prices to be crazy, as any coffee place is but the pricing as well as the food are good! I wish I took a picture of my chicken sandwich to show on here but that gives me a reason to come back
Got the crepe with ham cheese and mushrooms - overall good. Room for some more flavor in the filling ingredients. The crepes were a little thicker than I’ve had elsewhere but again overall good - and could have shared. Stopped for lunch and sat outside since it was a beautiful day (so I can’t speak to the ambiance of the space). The iced oat milk latte was good as well
5 star staff!! My client booked Ange Noir for a private event. I had been in communication with Vanessa weeks before leading up to the party. She was extremely helpful, prompt with all responses and very accommodating. The bar and wait staff were also top notch. Highly recommend the back room for all private events. Also, really love the ambiance and speakeasy setting. Perfect for Great Gatsby or roaring 20s theme parties :)
Coffee and space were great! Hidden gem. However sandwich wasn’t saucy enough and the crepe smelled like eggs.
I ordered a $14 wrap. It took 30 minutes. More lettuce than sustenance. I wish I wouldn't just walked into a bodega. Staff was nice but service was minimal. Coffee was fine but I had to go get more. I would've rather just not wasted my time or money.
I never review places from where I order but this time I have to. I love this place and till today has been my number one to place an order from. I don’t know what happened but I was shocked when I received my food. It was missing almost everything inside the wrap and the crepe I have no words to describe it. I order deluxe burrito with salmon and I got a wrap with arugula and scrambled eggs.
