3 Dollar Bill Brooklyn Reviews
Great service and nice show. They feature multiple artists featuring THEE QUEEN 👑 PRINCESS. Outside patio life is nice and private with heater to keep you warm. Chilled venue with lots to offer.
I've been here for several different parties (Halloween, New Years, Drag Shows) and have really enjoyed how spacious it is. Depending on the event it can get crowded but the dual level aspect of the venue is very good with allowing you space to move around. As always, some DJs are better than others but the overall vibes are great from staff and the type of crowd.
One thing about this bar between the events, food, location, and overall space your guaranteed ti have a good time. Im a huge fan of ota honest every monday but also love the drag night 10/10 for sure
Always great shows here in this amazing venue. The venue really is amazing, the layout is great, the stage room with top-class speakers, food just outside the back door, cloak room, and the massive back yard - it has it all. Everyone who works here is fantastic and extremely kind and positive. Together they create a very safe space for everyone to enjoy themselves, and I can definitely say I had a brilliant night here in 3DB. It’s obvious the venue is really well looked after, and I’ve heard the Halloween decorations are amazing - can’t wait to come back to see them, and plenty of times before then too!
Watching the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars finale at 3 Dollar Bill was an electrifying experience. The venue's vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, combined with the high-energy drag performances, made the night unforgettable. The crowd was fully engaged, cheering on their favorites, which added to the excitement. With its welcoming vibe, fantastic entertainment, and sense of community, 3 Dollar Bill is the perfect place to enjoy a drag show and celebrate the art of drag. 🌈
This place was really fun. My first time here, and I came form a Glee drag show. Absolutely loved it. There was lots of space; inside dance area, a bar area, a inside seating are with tvs, and an outside area. The food was very good, and there was someone selling weed inside. Overall such a fun experience!!
Went for a fashion wear pop-up event. Independent designers and their gear of all kinds. Vendors were from around the country. #GoodGarment$ was one of the Vendors. They showcased music artists also.
Super fun experience, was only in NYC for 2 nights and I'm glad we made the trip to this bar it was sick to see some DJ's. Beware of little heavier set bar tender with facial hair, he didn't think we'd notice him automatically add 20% gratuity to a bottle of water before charging us.... not cool. Other than that, had a great time.
Went here for a drag show event. The venue had food onsite which was OK for the price. The show was OK even though the crowd showed favor to the white performers over the POC. Gentrified spot in BK. Be sure to check your receipts if you open a tab. They added charges that were not accurate paid $100 for 3 glasses of amaretto. Bartender couldn’t produce a receipt with my charges. Except they printed a small bill with random charges that were not my drinks for rum and vodka. They did the same thing to my friend who drank less but still have $100+ bill. Lesson: pay in cash and always check prices before picking up your drink!
I normally love 3 Dollar Bill. My most recent visit changed that. My friend and I approached a bartender and asked for a cup of water. They referred us to a different bartender with less people around them to get it. We walked over and asked him for a cup of water. He stared at us like we are idiots. He smirked and said that we should just buy a bottle. We were confused and said we normally see a jug at the end of the bar, and just need a cup of water. He contested, but then begrudgingly got it for us. I don’t think I am owed anything, but the other bartender told us to go to him! Also it feels borderline dangerous to refuse customers water at a bar. I don’t know if we received this treatment because we are both female and “straight” presenting (though I am a lesbian), but it was unacceptable. The bartender was so rude and condescending. I hope that they are kinder in the future
The girl in front of me was verbally harassed by the bouncer, who told her to walk through the metal detector four times, and each time would yell at her to “WALK NORMALLY”. This was not helpful since she was obviously walking. He then yelled in her face with derogatory language, making her cry before even entering the bar. This makes the environment not fun or safe, especially when you’ve already bought $60+ tickets to go in for a fun, inclusive night.
