Sol Sips Brooklyn Reviews
Espresso drinks > drip coffee. As good as it gets in the area - minus the specialty places with third wave beans. Great breakfast sandwiches — always piping hot, straight off the grill. Highly recommend - this is a local favorite for a reason.
Potentially the best breakfast burrito of all time (with avocado and hot sauce, perfection). Nice seats inside and outside, friendly staff, fair prices, can't go wrong.
Their food and drinks are top tier 👌 😋. Must try chicken melts sandwich 🥪 I highly recommend this place. Staff and owners were very welcoming. Will visit again !!
This is a cute little coffee shop and my current go to spot. We love a good morning coffee from here. They also have some good breakfast options and baked food. I’d definitely recommend the turkey bacon sandwich and Egg and cheese sandwich. Also try out their croissants. The service here is really good too.
I’m a new regular to sips now. Very small cozy coffee shop with great tasting coffee. Good selection of hot foot. The turkey and egg is an unbelievably fresh sandwich that I got today and yesterday. Staff is super nice. Ingredients are very fresh. It’s the perfect cafe.
Look y'all, there's really no getting around this Sips can do almost everything your other favorite breakfast/coffee spot can do but better and at a lower price point. Many of the breakfast sandwiches are under $10 which today is kinda wild. At that price point there was no lack of portion or flavor, in fact I was still full on into the evening. The only and I mean ONLY critique I could find was merely an excess of cream cheese on the lox sandwich but tbh I never bring that up on reviews cause on that point to each is own just be sure to ask for less if that's not your thing. This is a 5 star spot its undeniable.
I stumbled upon Sips on my way home this week and absolutely loved it. I had the best oat milk vanilla latte and tried their buttermilk scone with raspberry preserves, the scone was delicious and the raspberry preserves was a perfect pairing. The aesthetic is so cute and unique. The staff was so friendly. I ended up working from there the whole afternoon and I’ve definitely found my new favorite WFH cafe. 😍
Really sweet little cafe that just opened in the neighborhood! Stopped by to check it out. Their egg salad and turkey sandwiches were both really delicious. Nice staff and plenty of seating inside.
Best place in the area, I could eat the turkey&egg everyday of my life and still want another one. Cold foam is so good to. I❤️Sips. great prices great staff great owner 5 stars
Top-tier bagels, next-level iced latte, and the friendliest crew in NYC. Fresh, flavorful, and full of good vibes—this place is a total gem! 🩷
I just moved into this area and searched high and low to find a staple cafe- this place is a gem and a whole vibe. Serving better cold brew, delicious breakfast sandwiches, hip decor, plenty of seating, friendly staff, right across the street from the park and always playing late 90s/early 2000s alt rock / pop .
Wonderful service and delicious food & drinks. My latte was perfect. Also, the employees were incredibly patient and accommodating. Will come again soon, especially for the delicious sandwiches.

Had a cappuccino, latte, and matcha spitz, everything was delicious! Smooth coffee, rich flavour, and the spritz was super refreshing :)

Very kind staff had afternoon tea here and you could also even do it for one person and it looks amazing!!! afternoon tea for a great price too! Had a great time playing tea party and would love to visit again from out of state and I’m happy we made the trip here!!!! if you want to throw a little tea party even for yourself or with your friends come here!
I had the opportunity to visit this establishment with my sister, and the experience was exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere conveyed comfort and attention to detail, creating a very pleasant feeling. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the calm environment make it an ideal place to enjoy a meal, have a conversation, or simply relax. The service is impeccable; the staff is friendly, respectful, and efficient at all times. The quality of the coffee is outstanding—each preparation shows proper handling of the beans and careful technique. The food, meanwhile, stands out for its freshness, flavor, and excellent presentation. The portions are appropriate and offer a perfect balance between homemade and gourmet. Regarding prices, I consider them to be reasonable for the quality offered. The cleanliness and organization of the place also deserve recognition
This is hands down the best coffee shop in Bushwick — and I’ve tried just about all of them. The espresso and coffee here are unmatched, which is why I find myself coming back every single morning. Personal fav is the pumpkin spice latte and the mocha latte with an extra espresso shot in each. While I haven’t tried the food myself (I can’t have gluten), I often tell my friends about this place, and once they go they always rave about how good everything is — so much so that they go regularly on their own. On top of the coffee, what really sets this place apart is the staff. There’s one girl who’s there every day, and she always brightens my morning with her kindness. I know that sounds corny but they are all genuinely friendly and welcoming and this is a big part of the reason I continue to come back every morning!!
Two breakfast sandwhiches - delicious. One latte and one decaf latte - both yummy. Service with a smile and very efficient! If in the neighborhood, do this spot!
One of our favorites cafes in NYC. Great coffee (get espresso drinks, not drip) and matcha. Cute space, great breakfast food too. A little pricey. Pastries are good, I like the vegan muffin a lot. A few fun games, WiFi, and water. Love it!

This place is good! Enjoyed my coffee and saw some dogs come by after playing in the park. I just feel like they could improve a tiny bit more as far as flavor of the food and atmosphere. Maybe some cushions on the wood seating 😅. But definitely a nice spot for a quick bite. Maybe I’m spoiled by all the other coffee shops in Brooklyn, but I can definitely see myself coming back when I have time and am in the area. Especially since it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg for breakfast 😊.

I saw this cafe as I walked through the neighborhood. I decided to give it a try. The interior design is nice. Where it fell short for me is what I ordered. I got the rose matcha which I learned has some kind of cream. If I knew that I wouldn’t have ordered it cause I’m vegan. The communication with the barista was a struggle as he stated he doesn’t speak English so I couldn’t verify what the top of the rose matcha after he made the drink. Another customer came and bridged the gap. I guess they could have an ingredient list or put not vegan next to the drinks. The food has that. But yeah I ended up getting the regular matcha with oat milk and there is a price difference between the 2 drinks.
Nice quiet little place in the middle of Brooklyn next to the Police Station. Tried the Bagel Lox Sandwich as well as the Egg and Cheese on a Croissant… Also tried the Iced Latte’ and an Iced Mocha… Good Service, Good People and Decent Food.. Might come back to try more sandwich selections…
