IC Brooklyn Cafe Brooklyn Reviews
Great neighborhood cafe, super friendly staff, yummy bites, and great place to chill or work on something.
Cute backyard. Good coffee..My favorite is the Brooklyn Bagel Update: this place is the freaking best
Delicious açaí bowls and assorted baked goods (my kids are big fans of the donut selection), and the backyard is nice albeit a little rugged
IC Brooklyn Cafe is a cozy neighborhood spot offering great coffee, fresh pastries, and a relaxed vibe. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect for working, studying, or catching up with friends. Simple, tasty, and always welcoming.
Great smoothies, friendly environment, plenty of seating from tables to couches. Lots of outdoor seating in a very verdant backyard, with strong WiFi reception!
This was seriously some of the best food we had in Brooklyn. This quiet little cafe was such a hidden gem and I'm so glad we stopped by! From the cute decor to the kind and attentive baristas, to the INCREDIBLE food, IC Brooklyn Cafe is a MUST if you're in the area. The coffee was superb and the bagels were insane (I legit bought a second one on my way out and ate it at the airport - it was so worth it). The açaí bowl was also super refreshing and delicious!
Excellent coffee shop for getting productive work done. Atmosphere is quaint and they play good work music for the most part. The place is well suited for working since they is plenty of work tables and power outlets around them. Note there is more seating in the rear of the busking also. The coffee itself was good and they have options for smoothies and some food. Overall would return!
Came here on a Tuesday afternoon to get some work done. It was nice to see they had an outdoor patio area in the back. The front has seating outdoors but even with the table umbrella, the sun would’ve still been too strong, so I sat in the back patio area. Looks to be 4 separate table areas and they are spaced in a way that leaves plenty of room between tables which was nice, it is also shaded, one seating option has a tent-style covering (you can see it in the second photo). I ordered an iced skim-milk chai laté- It was a bit on the sweeter side but it was tasty overall. I also had an açaí bowl option #1 which was ok, nothing special- portion size was generous. The service wasn’t that good. Took a long time for the açaí bowl, which I didn’t mind but seemed like the guy was having issues with the frozen açaí not being melted enough to use in the blender. Overall, he just didn’t seem that pleasant nor happy to be at work. I felt I was bothering him by ordering and disrupting his conversation with his coworker. Wi-Fi worked well, even in the outdoor patio area which was a plus. Not sure if I’ll visit again, the café I wanted to visit is closed on Tuesdays and I felt this place was overpriced for the quality of service.
Good coffee shop, nice and friendly staffs. We ordered smoked salmon bagel, cheese cake. They were all good. Especially cheese cake not too sweet and I believe they used the real vanilla which was rarely found in bakery these day. Atmosphere is very nice, everything seems perfect. But the restroom was broken… Recommended!
This cafe is super welcoming and comfortable. It has some comfy seating (couches) along with tables and chairs. I got a large dark, French roast drip and it was $3.25. I have been to other local coffee shops around this area and this is about a $1 more. I enjoy a great dark roast and the flavor of coffee is great! I wouldn’t call it “the best” but definitely would be swinging by again. They have a wide variety of pastries and food. We tried the blueberry muffin and it was savory. Definitely swing on by and give them some love!
I enjoyed my lunch at this unique eatery. It is clean and serves fresh, invigorating options. The Brooklyn Greens smoothie and spinach quiche is delicious, served with fresh green salad. Good coffee too. A bathroom is available for customers, but seating is limited, best for 1or 2 people eating alone but not groups any larger. Wait time for the food was close to 10 minutes, so it's not fast ... though it is delicious. No dedicated parking. Prices are fair.
Took 15 minutes for an everything bagel to be prepared despite no one else being in the cafe and 25 minutes for a sandwich . Took a very long time , but the atmosphere is nice and they have AC
The place is cute with some seating and a lot of menu options and the barista's were nice. I ordered an iced vanilla latte however it was probably one of the worst lattes I've had. It almost seemed more like an iced coffee, it was really dark almost no milk and tasted nothing like vanilla. I asked the barista about maybe adding more milk which she did but maybe a drop or two, I hate wasting and I paid $7 for it but I ended up not being able to finish it. I didn't try the food but the pastries looked good, if I come back it won't be for the coffee.
Accessibility rating: poor. There's a step to enter the building as well as a step to enter the bathroom (no railings around the toilet either). The front door is also recessed, so a solo wheelchair user would have to lean way over to hold open the door while also trying to get up the step. The cafe is spacious enough that once inside I believe a wheelchair would be able to get through without difficulty, but as of writing none of the tables are wheelchair-friendly. My review: Cozy atmosphere and plenty of tables. Great place to work! Update: came back and had another great experience. This cafe would easily be a 5/5 for me if they would put in a ramp to the door and the bathroom.
Im beyond upset, I usually order from here havent in about a month. Im very specific and I always put in the notes NO coconut flakes, I even add a smiley face. Well, this morning my bowl has coconut flakes ALL THROUGH THE BOWL ! I now dont have breakfast, I was offered to come pick up another one or order something else thats cheaper (which still comes out to almost $20 on UE), why should I have to be inconvenienced because the employees dont pay attention? Then to top it off, I go to eat my almond croissant thinking ok at least I have this, WRONGGGG !!!! Idk what you guys gave me but it wasnt that,Thanks for nothing.
We were really looking forward to trying this place, but the experience was frustrating from the start. While I was ordering in English, the staff member interrupted me to say, “You can speak Spanish if you need,” in a condescending tone. As someone who is bilingual, I found it rude and unnecessary. it felt like she was mocking my accent rather than offering help. The customer service overall was not welcoming, and unfortunately, the food was just as bad. We ordered two açaí bowls (#1 and the Classic). The #1 tasted like spoiled yogurt and made my partner feel sick. The Classic bowl was almost black, watery, full of ice cubes, and had no flavor at all. Both were unpleasant to eat and far from the quality you’d expect for the price. There was no manager or owner available to speak with, so we left disappointed. We won’t be returning.
