Forever Thai Brooklyn Reviews
My #1 favorite Thai place in NY!! I order here minimum 1x a week. Been coming for a couple years & it’s mostly delivery I get but I absolutely love, it hits the spot EVERY single time. Restaurant is very cute with an amazing ambiance, nice and quick service. No complaints here. Delivery good always come fresh, fast and hot.
It was litt in here! I met up with my girl squad and it was amazing they were attentive and the food was amazing. TK Bow Terry sure know how to make us girls feel welcomed!
5 stars all around. I had the pad kee mau with mock duck - which is a tofu based protein that looks like duck and has a very meaty texture. Everyone enjoyed their meal, it was moderately priced. I will say, we had the summer rolls as an appetizer - pretty boring and could have done without. My friends had the pad Thai and pad see ew, everyone loved it.
The food was good here, the ambiance was perfect. It was a daytime date, and the place was fairly empty. The food came quickly and hot. The vegetable rolls are delicious 😋 and the dipping sauce was great. The chicken wings are so yummy, i think the sauce made the wings burst with flavor. I would visit again.
They do have combos options! Super worth it for how much you’re paying for because of the amount of food you get and the quality! The Spring rolls or the Peek Gai Mak Khamin Tord with the red chicken sauce,it was so flavorful and delicious! Our favorite dishes from everything we order!
Wow… I must be honest Im not one to try different cuisines other than latin/ Italian food. My friend suggested that we go to Forever Thai & let me tell you it didn’t disappoint . What an AMAZING FOOD experience. The food was delicious, the service was amazing & everything was great. I would 100% recommend forever thai. Deeeliiciousss… Now I will be a forever thai girl 💯
Good Thai can sometimes be hard to find and luckily for me, the Thai food here was great. I had the spicy drunken noodles and it was so flavorful (and spicy!). Fried shrimp cakes with the sweet sauce were also very good as well as the vegetable spring rolls. Atmosphere was very cool with cool decor and lighting that sets the mood. Nice large windows that I'm sure offer some good sun light during the day. Such a nice looking restaurant in a part of town you almost wouldn't expect it to be. I guess because I visited an hour before closing the service was very fast, the staff wasn't pushy but I got the vibe that they were trying to close on time.
Everything was soooo beautiful and honestly the food was amazing. Service was so prompt, the food came quickly but tasted so fresh. We weren’t rushed AT ALL. The brought us the check and we sat there for at least another 45mins and even had to ask the server to ring us up — I say this to speak to the laxness that I felt in relation to paying or leaving the premises it felt very welcoming and like a space where I had all the choice in the world to stay for as long as I wanted. Service was amazing. Everything was beautiful. I’m excited to return. They have a lot of options for vegans as well which I really appreciated.
I went here for dinner on a week night and was certainly not disappointed. The restaurant atmosphere is very aesthetically pleasing. From the decor to the food everything is very detail oriented. We ordered the fried vegetable dumplings, Thai style fried rice with chicken, Thai style fried rice with vegetables, and 2 glasses of champagne. Our bill came out to be a little under $75 including tip. The servers were wonderful and this will certainly be a new go to spot for me!
Wow. A soup here and a jasmine tea on a Winter day, coming back to the city after holiday travels to catch up with your friend, nothing is better. Terry is the most amazing server, reminding why I continue to brave the winters of NYC and live here: For great people like Terry, and yummy restaurants like this one. Happy to be back here. I’m home. <3
We just went there today for lunch and had a great experience. The staff was super friendly and the service was great. We ordered to Pad See Ew as well as a yellow curry with mock duck. The food came out swiftly and tasted absolutely delicious. Full of flavors perfectly cooked vegetables and overall just very delicious. The atmosphere is great and their bathroom is very clean.
Anytime I come here I’m greeted with love! Staff goes above and beyond for me always. Food is always on point and super fast! Drinks are immaculate and their presentation for everything is awesome! Love this place, definitely one of my go to spots.
Forever Thai is located in the corner of Flushing and Wilson Ave in Bushwick Brooklyn. Big windows outside reveal a beautiful faux camellia tree smack in the middle. That’s it. We must go give it a try sit right under that tree. The host greeted us with a big smile and walked us over under the tree. We sat down and ordered a Thai iced tea and coffee. Had to take a break from alcohol even though they have an amazing selection of cocktails. Their friendly and attentive serve took our order and food came out within minutes satisfying our hunger. Food and ingredients are fresh and delicious. Everything tastes extra good under that beautiful tree in a modern, fresh, and cozy vibe. Definitely worth a try!
Beautiful restaurant with the nicest waiters! Very good noodles and appetizers. The place was packed but the service was fast and smooth.
I had a a great evening at Forever Thai recently. The food was nothing short of amazing. It had a great vibe and an impeccable service. The place has a very clean design, it’s wide open with large windows, ideal for a date night or a family / friends dinner. I totally enjoyed that gem of a restaurant. 💎
Cannot recommend this place enough! I came solo and sat at the bar and my bartender Toey not only made amazing drinks (The Lychee Martini is a must try), he was an amazing conversationalist and made the overall experience so memorable. And the food was DELICIOUS! Really just a 10/10 experience. MUST TRY!
This place is a standout for the vibes! It gets a ton of natural light and is outfitted in warm neutral tones with a lot of greenery. There’s a central post in the room surrounded by vines that makes it feel like a tree is at the heart of the space, as well as a number of plants throughout. Super clean, too. They have a great lunch special and I loved their Thai tea. Also notably attentive staff.
Food wonderful gf friendly. Had chicken satay and summer rolls. Would come again. Lady was really friendly.
Overall, I thought the ambience of the restaurant was great. It felt like we were eating in the forest, which took us away from the windy winter outside. The service was great. They kept serving us water and checked up on us from time to time. One of the servers kept giving us a different table’s plates at the beginning, which I thought was a cute mistake. It was a bit of a tease though because we were quite famished. Let’s get to the food. It was truly delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation of the dishes served, and the cutlery and plates made the food more appetizing to eat. If you like to eat with your eyes first, this is the place to go to for delectable Thai food. I had the pad kee mao with mock duck, which I thought was hearty and flavorful. It was well balanced, and it had the essence of an authentic Thai dish. It was also a bit spicy, which I really appreciated. My friends had the khao soi, shrimp cake, and pineapple fried rice, dishes which also looked and tasted quite delicious as well. They also made sure to make the portions hearty, a gesture which I really appreciate. Would I come back again? Absolutely. After a long day of thrifting nearby, this is the perfect place to go to wind down, reflect, and eat to your heart’s content.
We have been ordering from here since they opened in 2020… but tonight was our first time dining in! Everything was absolutely amazing as uaual. The food was outstanding.. and Terry was incredibly kind and helpful. We truly loved everything… Hands down the best Thai food in Brooklyn.
This is a Brooklyn Gem. I love Thai Cuisine and I have to say this is by far the best Thai restaurant in Brooklyn. It’s super Trendy, cute and Diverse. Terry the Server is absolutely amazing. He’s 1 of the main reason why I come back. He understands hospitality…he gets it. Thanks Terry❤️
The food here is absolutely delicious! Oh my goodness, this is my second visit and it's still absolutely amazing! The staff are just so nice and incredibly polite. I just had dinner here and it feels like I'm transported straight to Thailand. The food is just that good. I highly, highly recommend it!
I’ve always wanted to try this place and it was just as cute inside as it was outside. Terry our server made us the ‘Rose Whisper’, a promotional drink for Valentine’s Day that wasn’t on the menu yet. It was delicious and I told him I could drink it all summer! Highly suggest stopping by. My party of 3 came during a Monday midday, MLK day. Shout out to the dream 😎
The decor and layout of this place is so cute and welcoming! The staff were very sweet and attentive, speak multiple languages, and were very accommodating. The food was a whole other experience in and of itself. The Pad See Ew noodles had the perfect bite to it, with just the perfect amount of chew. The seasoning was on point, the flavor was rich and delicious, and the portions were great! The dessert options were wonderful too! The lychee crème brûlée was small, but very tasty. It came with whipped cream and real lychee fruit on the side. I will absolutely be back!
Loved this Thai restaurant! They have a choose your own adventure spice packet at each table and it’s so tasty and genuinely spicy. Loved the red curry!
Thai Forever is absolutely amazing! The food is incredible – so flavorful and authentic. The restaurant itself has a really nice vibe, super welcoming and cozy. Plus, the staff are so friendly and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend it – definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in New York! You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put a lot of love into their food. ❤️
Second experience was as great as the first. Food is very tasty, hot, and beautifully presented. We didn't have a reservation, but lucky to be seated. Service was warm and friendly from the door, table and etc. We were giving space to decide what we wanted to eat and also have a comfortable conversation at the table. That was important because music can be overwhelming and it was not here. The restroom was clean and had music from the general area. I look forward to returning to try other dishes and have another relaxing evening with company.
Been coming here for years & this is hands down my favorite thai food spot in all of nyc. Not only is the food amazing but so is the staff. I always have a great experience here & will continue coming back
I had an excellent dining experience here. The dishes were perfectly seasoned, served hot, and presented beautifully. The staff provided friendly, efficient service, and the atmosphere was comfortable and clean. I highly recommend. Favorite food to get are Taro puff, Goong Nueng Ma Nao, Moo Yang , Pad Thai Lobster Tail, Khao Phad Pla Mueng, and Peek Gai Mak Khamin Tord
By far the best Som Tam I've ever eaten outside of Thailand, and I've tried quite a few. Very fresh and aromatic papaya, and just the right blend of lime and fish sauce round it all out. I also highly recommend the Sai Ua, a Chiang Mai sausage with herbs. Simply delicious in a stylish and very well-kept ambiance. Highly recommended.
We love Forever Thai! A comfort spot for me and the family. The food is always amazing and so is the staff! Terry is usually our server and he is so friendly and great service. Thank you for always making our experience so good !!! >.<
Forever Thai has our hearts forever. Phenomenal experience and staff! We feel like family every time we visit. The food is made with love and you can tell. Flavorful, family style and feel good. The drinks are 1 of 1. Toey (Terry) is the man with the plan. He’s a seasoned mixologist. We’ll be back weekly ❤️
This is a very special place with a very sincere group of hard-working people behind it. Portions were big, food was so rich and flavorful… it’s hard to find a place this consistently good and an environment this welcoming. Also shout-out Terry who answered all our questions and handled all our concerns with the utmost concern and respect.
Everything was so good Terry is the best manager ever. We got a bunch of food for Christmas Eve. And I definitely think spending Xmas at forever Thai is WORTH IT Food is perfect and always good no matter what Everything is clean. And the staff is respectful and courteous I mean. Thanks FOREVER THAI! 💖🙏🏼👏🏼🐕🦺
This place is a staple for me. I love getting the wonton soup, or any of the curries. It’s a perfect spot for any occasion, or a rainy day. The bartender, Terry, makes standout cocktails and is always super friendly.
Don’t ruin this spot! Keep it nice! Affordable, delicious, super kind staff, and a pretty restaurant. Do not ruin it, the restaurant business is hard and has more affordable nicer spots open up in neighborhoods farther out from Manhattan it’s easy to not appreciate them. Can’t go wrong with anything you order, the entrees are big and filling. They don’t go shy on the meat portions either which is awesome. Will be back and great for groups of all sizes under 6.
I really love it here, the food is super delicious and the staff is nice and welcoming. Terry is also very friendly and helped us pick something from the menu. It was super DELICIOUS! My husband and I come here very often, so it’s officially our favorite Thai restaurant :)
Delicious food in a a beautiful setting. The plates and atmosphere was top tier. The service was amazing they kept put water glasses filled. The hot sauces were delicious the spoons are small for a reason. Spicy but delicious. The drinks were strong. No bad notes would definitely recommend you try it out.
this is hands down my favorite thai place. living in south brooklyn it is such a trek to get to bushwick, but i’ve made the journey back multiple times just for this place. it’s super cute and comfy with great prices. on weekdays until 4pm they have a great lunch special with a soup and salad which is super affordable. their pad thai is amazing and so is the pad see ew. every bite i take there is chicken, and a good portion of it at that. their thai tea is $7 but the large cup is not just full of ice. the spice level is great too, a medium in their mango salad or drunken noodles is pretty hot. if you like acidic flavors i would definitely recommend the mango salad. i’ve been to sooo many other thai restaurants especially those popular ones in the city like fish cheeks and soothr, and i always find myself coming back here
Wow. The best panang curry I've ever had! Perfectly balanced with spice and hearty vegetables. The energy and vibes in here are awesome.
Terry was such an awesome Bartender ✨🧡 made incredible drinks had no problem explaining things to us and swapping out certain liquors for the ones that we wanted in our drinks! Food is always incredible, the spring rolls are Amazing and the yellow curry is my favorite anywhere I’ve been. 11 out of 10 recommendation my girlfriend and I always make sure to stop here when we’re in Brooklyn and you should too
Terry was the best! Super amazing service with great food and drinks! Terry went over the top! He was so friendly and he went out of his way explaining the menu to me. If you’re in the area you should definitely come kick it at the bar :)
This is my favorite restaurant! Consistently awesome food, fun menu, beautiful ambience, and the sweetest staff! I could not recommend enough for a quick bite with good company if you love Thai cuisine.
Passed by Forever Thai on a Saturday night and it was a full house. After shopping, decided to stop by for dinner. Best to make a reservation, but only waited about 15 mins for a table for two. Very friendly wait staff and the food selection is a mix of traditional Thai and a modern take on the dishes. Everything was very tasty, especially the crab fried rice that was full of delicious crab. All the food was fresh and healthy. Highly recommend for a great place to dine, whether a couple, friends night out or a family, they will accommodate everyone. A+
I was recommended Forever Thai Brooklyn by a Thai friend, so I had to check it out — and I’m really glad I did. The food absolutely lived up to the recommendation. I ordered two special menu dishes: Grilled beef with Satay sauce and Pad Thai with Lobster, and both were excellent. The beef was tender with a rich, flavorful satay sauce, and the Pad Thai with lobster was amazing — fresh, well-balanced, and generously topped with lobster. Everything tasted authentic and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell they really care about quality and flavor here. Definitely did not disappoint. Strongly recommended, and I’ll be back for sure. Thank you for the delicious meal and great service.
Everyone was amazing. I was by myself initially. Never felt rushed. Then my friends joined me and the service was just as good. Terry, Bo and TK were so welcoming and gave excellent customer service. The food was amazing as well. Would and will definitely come back. ❤️❤️❤️
Sometimes I work in the area and stop here for lunch often, I've been here 3 times and the food was great every time. Terry was so kind and made us the BEST DRINKS. I got the chicken satay and some pancake thing, idk what it was but it was good and will be ordering it again. The vibe in the restaurant was great, service was great, smells good in here.
An amazing restaurant!! The food was delicious, we came on a snowy night and I had the duck soup, it was so warm and delicious, there was so much duck too (no skimping here🙂↕️🤏🏻) it was great. Thai tea was also very yummy. And the best part was our waiter Terry!! He was very nice and made sure everything was good. It was my husband and I’s first meal back in ny after being away in Japan for a while and Terry welcomed us back so warmly :) The best customer service!!
I ordered my lunch from this Thai place, and the fried rice was absolutely outstanding. It had that smoky, sizzling aroma that only comes from a well-seasoned wok, and the portion size was huge — it easily became two meals for me. Every bite was packed with authentic Thai flavors, perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying. I loved it and would highly recommend giving them a try.
Forever Thai is an absolute delight! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced — every dish felt like it was their specialty. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy dinner or casual night out. What truly made our experience special, though, was our server, Toey. He was, attentive, and took his time to explain the menu. Made us feel completely at home. It’s rare to find service this thoughtful. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Forever Thai was truly delicious and amazing quality all around 🙌 I came for the $15 lunch special and also got a beer ($8 for Chang or Sinha and they brought it with a chilled glass 💜🍺). Total after tax was 24.99 (before tip🤞). In my opinion it’s one of the best deals in the neighborhood and it lasts until 4pm Pineapple fried rice was great and tasted fresh with a good amount of veggies, the chicken in it was solid too They also offered me an extra Thai tea drink they had made and it was super tasty 🙏 disclaimer that free drinks aren’t guaranteed lol but this does show that they care about customer satisfaction and don’t want to waste food 🤘
We had such an amazing experience at Forever Thai! Their Fall Special Menu truly impressed us, every dish was beautifully presented and full of bold Thai flavors. The Aquatic Duck Dance was tender and rich with red curry and fruit, while the Velvet Egg Octopus was perfectly cooked with a hint of sweetness. The Quick & Crunch duck salad was refreshing with a great balance of tangy and spicy flavors. The cocktails were just as good, we tried the Lychee Martini, Mai Tai, and their Buy 2 Get 1 Free mystery drink, all delicious and fun for fall evenings. The restaurant itself is cozy and elegant with great lighting and a welcoming vibe. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. Definitely one of the best Thai spots in Bushwick, we’ll be back soon!
Good atmosphere and very nice decoration. I got lunch spacial eggplant basil with mock duck. They served with soup and salad(I love it) , Quck & crunch was very good and yummy. Staffs have provided good service , nice and helpful. Recommend this restaurant and I will come back for sure.
This was such a chic place for an Asian cuisine restaurant. They didn’t try to have the authentic Asian aesthetic but instead went for trendy and modern and it honestly worked. We had the pork dumplings which we destroyed, hence no picture, but they were fantastic! I had the drunken noodles with duck and the tom yum soup and they blew it out of the water. Best Thai place I have ever been to and look forward to coming back. Only downside was we were pretty sure they forgot a couple of our favorite entrees, but mistakes happen. Also, the drinks were great! Lychee infused cocktails are always killer!
My friend and I came here because we were craving thai food, and honestly this is probably one of the best places for thai we have ever tried! We loved the Thai Iced Tea and we both praised how perfectly sweet it was. I got the Basil Fried Rice and it was stunning. My friend got the Drunken Noodles and she said she loved how saucy they were, and were a good warming spice. Overall, highly recommend coming here for good food and a good atmosphere!
Forever Thai was a quiet, lovely spot to have a meal. All of the food we got was flavorful but jot overpowering. The meats and noodles were cooked well but not to the point of falling apart. I’d love to come back again and try more food! 🥩 Pad Kee Mau (with beef): The beef was tender and delicious. The noodles were soft and cooked well and the sauce stuck well. There was definitely sauce but it wasn’t to the point where it made the rest of the dish mushy. 🥘 Mas-sa-man Curry: This curry had a light spice that anyone should be able to handle. We got it with chicken and it was delightful. There was this aroma that came with it and you can taste it too. Definitely loved eating this with rice. 🥗 Som Tum Thai (Spicy Papaya Salad): As the name suggests, there is a slight kick but you’ll be okay with some water. The salad was tangy, spicy, and crunchy. My friends absolutely loved this. 🦆 Duck Buns: This was basically peking duck but with fish sauce I think. It was good but it left me wanting more duck 😔 ⭐️ Service and Ambience: The staff here were kind and checked in on us regularly. The restaurant was pretty quiet when we got in at 5:30 PM but people definitely start coming in. The decor and spacing makes this a great spot for a date night too.
The food was delicious and the restaurant looks very nice but the one problem was that we felt so rushed. From the minute we got there until we left. We were a party of 8 and ate appetizers, ate dinner and drank all less than a hour. Our main course plates were taken away very quickly and our bill was even brought before we asked for desserts. Just very rushed.
The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful and comfortable. It was spacious and the location was quiet. The food was good serving amount and the cost was fair. There was two hostess was pleasant and attentive. I did feel a bit rushed during my time there, in which we only was there for an hour.
I really enjoyed the spring rolls and the drunken noodle with beef, it has a good spice and the sauce was tasty. We ordered the chicken red curry, it was decent not the best I’ve had. The service and the atmosphere were good. I’ll come back for the drunken noodle
Probably one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Bushwick and Brooklyn in general. The ambience is really nice, I love the furniture with the intricate fabric on the chairs and the tree placed in the middle of the restaurant gives it a fresh touch (even though it’s not a real tree) but it truly contributes to a more natural and relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has lots of windows so the lighting is just perfect in my opinion, specially during day time. The hostess is decently welcoming as well as the staff, you feel welcomed but for some reason you get the feeling that they want you out of the restaurant as soon as possible (this could be for business purposes). When it comes to food the pineapple fried rice is one of my favorite dishes, every time I go I order it, the combination of the sweet pineapple with different herbs and seasonings create an explosion of flavors that you don’t want to miss. The Chicken satay is perfect to share, very tasty and grilled properlly. The peanut butter salad IS INCREDIBLE! my favorite salad, the dressing is very rich but it does not get too overwhelming. When it comes to service, I would say it’s good, but again, I feel that they really want you out as soon as your done with your food, which I understand but there are ways to let people know in a more assertive way in my opinion because sometimes you want to take a brief moment after eating to continue with your day ahead. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!
The restaurant, itself is gorgeous, love the atmosphere inside. The food is decently good, nothing out of the ordinary. The service was good, they are sweet and friendly but one of the waiter keep on making mistake like he brought other people food/dish to our table twice even though we haven't even started to order yet so it was funny.
This was my second time dining at Forever Thai, and it was another solid experience. I ordered the fried rice, shrimp curry, and thai iced tea. it was a little salty at first, but the staff was quick to fix it and brought out a new one that was just right. I really appreciate how responsive and friendly they are. The food is flavorful, the atmosphere is cozy, and the service has been consistently great both times I've visited. Looking forward to coming back again!
I had amazing experience at Thai. The staff were so awesome. They gave us a larger table to accommodate the amount of food that we ordered. I ordered something that was too spicy, It was exchanged with no problem and I was offered the spice on the side. The branzino was 10 out of 10 I would definitely be going back. Its perfect for a casual date night
I was reluctant to dine at a restaurant without an A+ rating, I am SO glad we took a chance on ForeverThai. My party of 8 was treated well from we entered the door. Terry was our server and he was superior. We ordered appetizers, entrees and cocktails- hot tea for me, as it is dry January. Everything was tasty! I can't wait to return in February for cocktails and more of that quality food and service.
We were waiting at the entrance until we were met and offered a table, we waited a long time until they took the order (there was a feeling that there was not enough staff). The waiter is pleasant, the interior is excellent, the dishes are good. ordered noodles with lobster and noodles with shrimp, lobster and shrimp were dry, very strange that a special dish from the chef and such a dry lobster.
This place has a lovely interior and the lunch menu is good value, but the food and the service are both hit or miss at best. The Pad Thai had a weird broth and was outrageously salty. The tofu is tough and clearly not cooked to order. The service is standoffish and borderline rude. The noodles in my Pad Kee Mao were completely undercooked.
Nice ambiance in there, just wish the food was too. I ordered their beef stew, where the meat was tender, but the broth was basically soy sauce soup. I can’t remember what my friend ordered, but it was very salty where instead of ordering a different dish, she had to make due with asking for a bowl to mix it with water to cut down the salt.
I love Thai food! However I was more impressed with the charming ambiance than the food itself. I was also pleasantly surprised with the level of service we received considering how PACKED the restaurant was on a Friday night. My partner ordered a pot of jasmine tea and the duck buns to start, which were likely an acquired taste because I couldn’t even bring myself to chew it, let alone swallow it. My partner ate 2 of the 3 duck buns, but agrees that they were the least appetizing plate of the night. We proceeded to order the green curry with mock duck, vegetable dumplings, and Tom Yum Gai soup. The vegetable dumplings were the undeniable star of the show. The green curry had a decent kick, but far from the best I’ve had. The soup was tasty, but it was served to me lukewarm (I had to send it back to be reheated). Overall, the food was edible but nothing to write home about.
I’ve ordered from this restaurant a few times with no issues, and it is very good! There is no denying that. I dined in for the first time recently and ordered Tom Kha soup with chicken. The server brought me a soup with shrimp in it so I asked for it to be remade. Another soup was brought out pretty quickly, and I had a suspicion that it was the same soup but with the shrimp taken out. I continued to eat the chicken soup, only to find a leftover shrimp in the bottom of the bowl, so it was definitely the same soup. Thankfully I am not allergic to shellfish (just didn’t want shrimp that day), but if I was, this practice of not fully remaking an order that’s been prepared wrong can lead to something catastrophic or even fatal with someone with allergies.
Been eating here for years but sadly the food has gotten way too bland…. Used to be decent considering the price but I don’t think it’s worth it anymore. Pad Thai 0/10 so bland it was SAD Pad Kee Mau/Drunken Noodle used to be… varying… but it’s a fail too often to be worth ordering anymore. I prefer 2 other places in the area.
My partner and I went here for a late dinner. Unfortunately, he got really severe food poisoning after. I really wanted to like this place because the service and food were good (although there weren’t as many menu options as I’d like), but I’d never go back there after our experience.
We waited over 30 minutes and arrived before several other parties, yet they were seated while we continued waiting. Our name was on the waitlist, but we were never called. When we asked again, we were told there were no tables and could wait at the bar. After nearly an hour total, we left without being seated. What made this especially uncomfortable was seeing other guests receive more attention while we were repeatedly overlooked. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially since I had enjoyed this restaurant before.
Unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing. We came based on a strong recommendation, but the service completely overshadowed everything else. We were told the wait time would be 30 minutes, yet we waited over an hour while multiple parties who arrived after us were seated first. The staff repeatedly justified this by saying others had reservations, but the situation felt poorly managed and unfair. We were eventually asked to wait even longer, which showed a lack of respect for our time. Overall, the experience reflected poor organization and a troubling lack of equal treatment. I would not recommend this restaurant if you value professionalism and fairness.
