The Little Whiskey Brooklyn Reviews
Just visited The Little Whiskey for the first time, and almost immediately it became one of my favorite Brooklyn bars. We were the first to arrive after they opened, and were greeted by Dash. Dash is a tremendous bartender. Charming, funny, and very knowledgeable about the whiskey selection there. And that selection is fantastic, especially given the size of the place. The bar stock focus is definitely whiskey, as the name implies, and they have many of my favorites. Very reasonable prices too. Not long before locals began to arrive, and the vibe was super friendly and fun. Between the selection, the locals, and Dash, it was one of the best bar experiences I've had in Brooklyn. I'll be heading back there as frequently as I'm able to. Slainte!
Great little bar with plenty to offer. Bartender was a really good chap too. Recommend for a fun afternoon hangout or football Sunday.
Obsessed with the Little Whiskey. Not too fancy, not too divey. They’re always playing good sports or movies on the tv. It also feels like there’s always the right amount of people—it’s never overly crowded to the point that you can’t find a seat but it’s also never empty to the point that it feels boring or lame. Our boy Landon who works the bar is a god-tier bartender.
The bartenders are great! Colin and Alan both make it entertaining. I first learned of spicy pickle backs here. $6 dollar beer/shot specials. This is a fantastic family venue ;)
I really liked the feel of this bar, and the Whiskey Flights had cheeky names. It was a wonderful experience, and I'll gladly go back whenever I'm in Brooklyn again.
Really dope spot to hang out for a drink. Ash the bartender was nice and chill to talk to. Good priced drinks too! Really recommend.

Landon and chandler gave such a great experience. Loved the local bushwick vibes of the little whisky as a tourist!!! Especially loling with Landon, he had funny jokes
Lil Whisk is the best gay country sports bar in Brooklyn! Best boys in town.
I love this bar! The bartenders are super friendly and personable, so it’s no surprise that there are so many who quickly become regulars. The clientele here reflect the warm and inclusive energy from the bar as well. The great drinks are just the cherry on top of an awesome, fun establishment.
Sweet little happening bar with great staff and dynamic atmosphere. Can’t go wrong!
The little whiskey is a vibe, hanging with Aaron is wild and the regs make it seem cozy. The Photo Booth is a scam but only if you are dumb and drunk and end up buying double (it gives your 4 but seems like 2 prints) can’t wait to send all my friends here for the real Brooklyn experience
Little Whiskey is hands down my favorite sports bar in Bushwick! The atmosphere is always lively and welcoming, perfect for catching a game with friends or just enjoying a night out. The drink selection is top-notch, with a great variety of beers on tap and delicious cocktails. A special shout-out to Landon, the bartender, who always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a great time. His mixology skills are impressive, and he's always ready with a fantastic recommendation. Thanks for making every visit awesome, Landon! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to have a great time in Bushwick!
Had such a fun night with my friends. JUSTIN made the night even more incredible. Next time you come, please make sure to order your drinks with him. Please don’t forget about him :)
Love this place.... I don't know where to begin, but I'll start by saying it's one of the few bars in the neighborhood where the staff will go out of their way to remember your name and make you feel welcome. The place is clean. SERIOUSLY CLEAN. Drinks are reasonably priced and the music is always great. It definitely has its regulars and that's a good thing. Once you become a regular yourself you'll make friends... it's easy. It's not glamorous or trendy, and that's the best part about it. Nothing pretentious about it. It's a bar for drinkers. If you're a friendly and normal person, you'll find yourself coming back.
JUSTIN is the best! i am a complicated girl with a COMPLICATED ORDER (and a drinking problem) he was so accommodating and kind. and probably cut me off at at good time. he is a homie. live laugh love justin
Great staff, drinks and ambiance. Def recommend the narragansett beer combo with the pizza + their local spicy sauces. Whiskey + Pickle Juice shot is a must try!
The staff here is really excellent. If you live around here & need a spot to make yourself a regular, I highly recommend The Little Whiskey. As another reviewer has said, this is the only place I've been where the staff has gone out of their way to learn my name & who I am, these guys genuinely care about this place. It's not huge but it is clean, they play good music (and important sports games when needed), they have a respectable liquor selection that is extremely reasonably priced. They even make these pretty damn good grilled cheese sandwiches whenever they're open. I don't often see the place packed with people, but many nights that's why I come here. I work late hours & oftentimes just want a place to stop for a Manhattan or two before I finish my walk home & man this place is so perfect for me in that respect. This place is very much worth checking out.
Haven't tried their food but the drinks are good and the atmosphere is very good. The people that go here are also chilled, which is a plus when you just want to have a cold one or play a board game with friends.

5/30/25 10:25 pm I’m so disappointed. I’ve never felt so unwelcomed. I’ve never felt….. So I walk into The Little Whiskey, I sit down, I’m wearing a Yankee hat as the only black man in the room. I was in this same situation, in this same room, during the 2024 World Series and I had so so so much fun, felt so welcomed but tonight….. As an experienced bartender, I was so disappointed. Before taking a sip of my beer and after feeling bullied by patrons at this bar, I decided to leave. I honestly was hoping that the bartender would restore order. Once I took 3 steps outside of the bar I realized that the only person who’s night was adjusted was my own; as if I was not welcomed to began with….. I have so much more to say….it sucks to feel like nothing will change. If you’ve read this far into thus review, don’t go

First let me start by saying this place does straight fraud. I went there and opened a tab and signed the original receipt which was which was $68.53 and wrote CASH in the tip portion. My friend that came with me even gave a $20 dollar tip in cash to the bartender Feb 2, 2023. Today I looked in my bank account and there was a charged for $45.68 which I did not sign for nor was I even in that bar last night. Beware they save your card information which is totally illegal. They lost a very good customer!!! I will NEVER be returning to that bar again.
