Taqueria El Fogon Brooklyn Reviews
The first time I tried this restaurant was through Too Good To Go, the meal was so delightful I decided to return! Like I stated, not only is the food amazing, the staff is extremely nice and attentive. Please add this restaurant to your list. It’s the perfect spot to eat after your scrounging through clothes at L Train.
Wonderful food and wonderful service, they were all sooo kind. I got the birria tacos and they were sooo delicious! I’m so glad I stopped here and didn’t find a fancy restaurant like I wanted
being from san antonio, this place was amazingggg! truly authentic mexican food. the waitress was so nice

Look for a place to get tacos. Happen to find location bauria tacos 🌮 are amazing and the Hibiscus 🌺 drink was refreshing. Will definitely right turn.
Very delicious Mexican food various options . Homemade tortillas ran by a family buisness everyone is so welcoming and nice . Food was good can’t go wrong with any dish. Price is good not expensive at all . Lemonade juice was a 10/10 everything is made fresh and 100% authentic Mexican food. I went twice with my family and did not disappoint
I had veggie tacos and Horchata. It was delicious! I’ll definitely be back. The salsa was amazing. Wish I could take it home with me! I came back with a friend and it was just as good as I remember! I got the steak with onions and peppers. The rice was well seasoned, and the steak was perfectly done! The guacamole was pretty tasty, the chips were okay. Overall great experience and I will me going back!
Quick service from friendly staff, not to mention authentic food with vast options. My new go to in this neighborhood!
Best Mexican food in Bushwick, don't go anywhere else or else
Authentic Mexican food in an authentic environment- very good service, very good food, cool and authentic decor
Some of the best tacos I've had in the USA. The Cecina and cueritos are on point. Large servings as well.
Very clean and hospitable place. I stumbled upon this place and was please. My food was fresh, service was fast! I’m not a big Guac fan… but this meal was served with a sample.. honeyyyyyy. DELICIOUS! Give this place a try. Ohhhh… my margarita was bussingggggg lol. I’ll return if I’m in the area again.
I've eaten here a few times and decided today I will give a positive review. Their large vegetarian burrito is so delicious. It was served with a kinda spicy green sauce on the side. I must also add that the people who serve you are ALWAYS so friendly and accommodating to make sure you have what you really desire. I will be back as usual.
AMAZING PLACE!!!!! I basically buy here monthly because that how good the food is!!! I would recommend people to try this restaurant These is a small place but I promise you, you’ll never regret coming here, this is an amazing place to eat at. The food is freshly made by hand it’s not microwave like other restaurants, this place actually cares about what they serve the people, they make sure to make it to your likings and when they rarely mess up they apologize immediately and fix it for you, but in an overall review and experience you should eat here
Phenomenal n fantastically delicious. I had a fried whole porgy n it it was perfect!!!!! As u can see from the pictures, I didn’t leave much left over. It was all great too, not just the fish! I’ve ordered from this n the other Fogon n they’re both delicious. I’d recommend this place if ur in the area n like legit, real deal Mexican food.
got a steak burrito. could’ve used more steak in the burrito but for how big it was you can’t beat the $12 price. very filling, great music and atmosphere, and wonderful service
We walked in after an afternoon of thrifting and sat for a nice meal. The waitress must have been new because she gave us glasses of water without ice. When we asked for ice she just gave us a tiny cup on the side with only a bit of ice XD. But no worries. Once we placed our orders it wasn’t too long of a wait, maybe 15 minutes for everything to come out hot and ready. The tamales were delicious they had a more fluffy texture than I’m used to but I’m told that the tamales I’m used to are from Oaxaca and these are more like what you find in Mexico City. The tacos and quesadilla were great, I wish the quesadilla had a bit less extra vegetables because it was hard to eat and reminded me more of a fajita, but it was delicious nonetheless. The pozole was also quite taste but lacking a bit in flavor, perhaps it needed more oregano or some other spices. All in all the food was decent and if we are in the area we will try it out again!
Good Mexican food. Just a few mistakes with the order. Had to ask for extra things and staff seemed frustrated and as we got the bill we were then told it was cash only. Sign on door says they take card. Thank goodness we had cash. Had a wet burrito, birria burritos and chicken burrito. All delicious.
I feel so bad doing this because the food was tasty and the guy was so nice but everyone in my party who ate meat ended up with food poisoning:( hoping it was a one off because again, they seem so nice but as someone who get anxious about that sort of thing, I thought I would give a heads up
