Mrs. An Thai Albans Reviews
Very authentic local Thai spot in the UES. Get the clay pot fried rice! It’s loaded and delicious. The curry noodle soup was also incredible. It is medium spicy which I loved. They have some beers and cocktails too. We came on a snowy Friday night and were seated right away. Service is quick. Staff is friendly.
10/10 — Authentic Thai comfort food! Just ordered Drunken Noodles with pork from Mrs. Ann Thai and WOW 🤤🔥 The flavor is so authentic—perfect balance of spice, basil, and savory goodness. It honestly tastes like something straight from Thailand 🇹🇭🍜 I can’t wait to try more items from the menu because if this dish is any indication, everything else must be amazing 😍 💡 Small suggestion: the packaging could be a bit more stylish to really stand out—maybe a cute sticker or branded label on the box. Even something simple would make it feel extra special and unique ✨📦 Highly recommend if you’re craving real Thai flavors done right 💯 #MrsAnnThai #ThaiFoodNYC #DrunkenNoodles #PadKeeMao #AuthenticThai #ThaiFlavor #FoodDeliveryNYC #SupportLocal #ThaiComfortFood #10OutOf10 😋🔥🇹🇭
Couldn't believe it. Amazing. FOR A Saturday night at a small place. We had a quiet table for 7 that felt like we were eating at home, they put a heater out to warm us up. Nothing glamorous just authentic reasonably priced delicious food. Fresh all cooked on-site, waitress and service were terrific. If there were 10 stars would give it 10. Exceeded all expectations.
Always good food! I enjoyed the Tom Yum soup, and Chicken with Garlic sauce today. 😋 Great take-out too!
I love the low-key vib. Feels like home Im from Oregon and only in the area for a month while I sell Christmas trees. I've been eating here everyday now and its incredible. The service is as good as the food. The woman ran up the street to give me peanut sauce that was not put in bag. This place is more than just great food its a great feel. I will miss being able to eat here everyday
Super pleasant restaurant! They have a great lunch special, and options for vegans and vegetarians. The staff is so kind. I definitely recommend the drunken noodles especially.
A great lunch place. Good price, calm atmosphere. Low noise level. Nice staff and good service. AC could be better but the food has never disappointed me. Fast take out.
I don’t understand why restaurant is so underrated. The food was so delicious and authentic. The portion is MASSIVE for the price! If only my stomach could handle more food I would have ordered some dessert. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We would definitely return the next time we visiy New York.
This is a great little addition to Upper East Side! Great food, beautiful decorations and tasty food. The friendly staff said they will have a drink menu in two months, so they don’t serve alcohol and it’s not BYOB yet. We ordered dumplings and flan to start and finished with (extra spicy was veryy hot) red curry with chicken and drunken noodles. I would come here again.
I recently ordered takeout from Mrs. A Thai near 95th Street, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The food was packed well, still warm when I got to it, and filled with vibrant flavors that truly showcased Thai cuisine. The Som Tum salad was an absolute winner crisp, refreshing shredded green papaya tossed with chili, lime, garlic, fish sauce, and a touch of palm sugar. The balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and salty flavors was spot on, making each bite incredibly satisfying. The Tom Yum soup was another highlight. The broth was rich and aromatic, infused with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, chili, and fish sauce. The combination of tangy lime juice and the warmth of Thai chilies gave it just the right amount of heat, making it both comforting and invigorating. I also tried the Mee Kati, which featured thin rice noodles coated in a creamy, slightly tangy coconut tamarind sauce. The dish was loaded with scallions, bean sprouts, red onion, tofu, and egg, creating a great mix of textures. While I enjoyed it, I found myself wishing it had a bit more spice and a deeper, more robust flavor to make the sauce stand out. The only disappointment was the roti and curry. The roti lacked the flaky, buttery texture I was hoping for, and the curry itself was a bit bland, missing the rich, aromatic depth I usually expect from Thai curries. Despite that, the takeout experience was great, and I will definitely be back for the Som Tum, Tom Yum, and Mee Kati—maybe next time, I’ll ask for an extra spice kick!
We came here for a late lunch on Friday, the place wasn’t busy with plenty of room to sit. We order the steam chicken and pork dumplings, coconut shrimp, Thai salad, green papaya salad, Tom yum soup, and the drunken noodles with chicken. Oh and a round of Thai beers 🍻 The food was good, really good flavors and portions. They make their dishes on the spicy side (yay 🎉) so if spicy isn’t your thing, let them know! The service was great. But I’m removing one star bc on the atmosphere of the restaurant, it was cold, so not a comfortable environment to relax and eat in. Also things just needs a little more looking after, the bathroom mirror looks like it hasn’t been windexed in at least a week.
Pretty decent Thai food in the neighborhood when compared with the price. I prefer CHU ROS THAI on lenxington Avenue and 101st street but I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of food they have. I tried their Roti Canai which is one of my favorites and I thought it wasn't great. But their udon is pretty good and spicy wings. If you're looking for decent comfort food and dont want to get food from a chinese place, this is a good place to order from.
Great atmosphere and cute vibe! Got the red curry dish and it was sooo good! Spicy and the veggies and mock beef was really good too! The appetizers (roti app and curry puff) tasted really good, though the portions are fairly small so if you want to share with someone else definitely order at least 2!
Food overall was not bad. Got the drunken noodles with seafood and got a decent amount of protein. The portion is too small for the price. You get the option of a side and I chose the soup which was 8 oz. When I went to pick up, turns out it is advertised as 2 sides per lunch special and I should’ve gotten an additional salad but the lady was insistent that because I ordered on grubhub, I wasn’t entitled to it despite confirming it was the same lunch special as was on the app. Will not return as I can get more food with $20 than here.
Go here for amazing food, truly delicious but the service is extremely horrible. The waitress (especially the younger one) has an attitude for God knows what. We have been there thrice and kept coming back for the food until we just could not tolerate their attitude. I always make sure to write positive reviews only but their attitude today just threw me off. If I’m spending my time and money on a business to support the least I can expect is a warm demeanour. Again the food is delicious, the service is the right opposite.
